This study analyzes the design of the width and rigid pavement of the road on Sp. Brongkos – Ngembul, Kesamben District, Blitar Regency, along 4.5 km with an existing road width of 5 meters, rumija 16.8 meters. The surrounding area includes forestry, residential, plantation, industrial, and Jolosutro Beach tourist access, with increased traffic density during the holiday season and industrial operations. The method used is descriptive quantitative based on LHR and CBR data. The calculation of lane width using MKJI 1997 (Indonesian Road Capacity Manual) shows the need for widening of 3 meters per lane and 2 meters of shoulder. The rigid pavement design using the MDPJ 2024 method (Road Pavement Design Manual) consists of a layer of coarse-grained soil embankment, class A aggregate, lean concrete, and structural concrete with a thickness of 200 mm, 200 mm, 150 mm, and 200 mm, respectively. With the JPCP design, for the tie bar connection reinforcement with a diameter of 16 mm, a length of 700 mm, a distance of 70 cm, and a dowel with a diameter of 28 mm, a length of 45 cm, and a distance of 30 cm.

The growth in the number of vehicles in Surabaya has led to increased traffic congestion, particularly on the Perak Timur–Perak Barat road section, which serves as a major distribution route to the port and industrial areas. Problems arise at U-Turn points, where vehicle accumulation hampers traffic flow. This study analyzes traffic volume, travel time, queue length, and queue ratio at two U-Turn points on this section. The method used was a field survey with direct observation of vehicle volume every 15 minutes, vehicle classification, and queue length. Traffic volume was calculated using the Passenger Car Equivalent (PCE) factor based on the 1997 MKJI standards. The study results show that at Point 1, east–west direction, the highest queue ratio occurred on Tuesday from 11:00 to 12:00 (p = 4.84), while the lowest was on Sunday from 06:00 to 07:00 (p = 0.21). At Point 2, west–east direction, the highest queue ratio occurred on Tuesday from 08:00 to 09:00 (p = 6.18), and the lowest from 06:00 to 07:00 (p = 0.41). These findings indicate that during peak hours, traffic congestion increases (p > 1), causing long queues, particularly in the west–east direction in the morning. The performance of the U-Turn on the Perak Timur–Perak Barat road section needs improvement, with recommendations such as temporarily closing U-Turns during high volumes, providing alternative U-Turn lanes, and adding signs to minimize the potential for vehicle conflicts.

Unsignalized intersections are a major point of concern due to the increasing number of vehicles. Bima City is a city located on the eastern part of Sumbawa Island, West Nusa Tenggara Province. As a developing city, congestion and busy traffic often occur on roads or intersections of Mongosidi and Anggrek roads. Therefore, this study was conducted to determine the performance and level of service of unsignalized intersections at Mongosidi Street and Anggrek Street. The method used refers to the Indonesian Road Capacity Manual (MKJI) 1997. This study aims to determine the indicators of traffic behavior at unsignalized intersections. The results of the calculation obtained a total flow of 3147 smp / hour, a capacity value (C) of 4234 smp / hour and a degree of saturation (DS) of 0.74, Traffic Delay (DT) of 8.07 sec / smp, intersection delay (D) of 11.73 sec / smp and upper and lower limit queuing opportunities of 44.46% and 17.74% respectively. This condition occurs on Monday, March 17, 2025 at the peak hour of 06.45-07.45 WITA. For the level of service of the intersection pattern, the conditions on Monday, March 17, 2025 at the peak hour of 06.45-07.45 WITA are also categorized as type C, namely stable flow, but the speed and movement of vehicles are controlled.Drivers are limited in choosing speed, with saturation density (Ds) around 0.45 - 0.74.

U-Turn Facilities serve to accommodate vehicles changing the direction of travel. Trikora road Manokwari has a U-Turn that causes traffic flow conflicts. The problem occurs because the vehicle cannot make a U-Turn movement properly, so it takes more time when making a U-Turn movement. The purpose of study was to analyze traffic flow conflicts, road geometrics, and level of service. Data collection method by direct observation for 7 days at 07.00 AM to 08.00 AM, 08.00 AM to 09.00 AM, 11.00 AM to 12.00 PM, 12.00 PM to 13.00 PM, 16.00 PM to 17.00 PM and 17.00 PM to 18.00 PM at the research location. Data analysis using MKJI 1997. The results of data analysis obtained a maximum traffic volume of 1308 pcu/hour. Side obstacle class Medium with a weighted frequency 390 with industrial area conditions, several shops on the side of the road. Road capacity of 5562 pcu/hour. Maximum vehicle of 24,70 meters. Disturbed traffic flow speed of 27,32 kilometers/hour. Road shoulder width of 1,5 meters. Level of service value of 0,44 (A).   Keywords: U-Turn, Road Geometrics, Traffic Flow, Capacity

Persimpangan merupakan simpul dalam jaringan transportasi dimana duaatau lebih ruas jalan bertemu dan pada simpang inilah terdapat potensi konflik lalulintas yang mungkin akan terjadi. Terutama pada simpang empat bersinyal Hangtuah kota Tegal, dimana salah satu upaya untuk mengurangi konflik lalu lintas dengan melakukan pengaturan ulang waktu siklus dan fase pada simpang. Simpang diberi pengaturan APILL bertujuan untuk menghindari terjadinya konflik lalu lintas sehingga dapat meningkatkan keselamatan, dan sebagai upaya untuk mempertahankan kapasitas jalan. Metode yang digunakan dalam analisis kinerja simpang adalah menggunakan  perhitungan menggunakan MKJI dan software PTV VISSIM.Sedangkan untuk analisis konflik lalu lintas dengan melakukan pengamatan langsung dan dibandingkan dengan software SSAM untuk mengetahui jumlah konflik yang terjadi. Langkah selanjutnya yaitu dengan memberikan rekomendasi penanganan dari permasalahan konflik lalu lintas dengan menggunakan softwarePTV VISSIM.

The construction of the Parepare City Twin Bridges resulted in increasing vehicle volumes and the occurrence of traffic jams which resulted in obstruction of traffic flow or congestion. The aim of this research is to determine the existing conditions, performance of intersections and road sections and their handling. The type of research used is quantitative, with the data collection method carried out (survey) and the data analysis used is MKJI 1997. The results of this research show that the existing condition of the intersection and road sections in segment 1 is at level of service (LoS) B, segment 2 v/c ratio is at level of service (LoS) A, and segment 3 v/c ratio value is at level of service (LoS) A. The performance of intersections and roads in Segment 1, namely Jl. The peak hour for the Makassar-Parepare axis is 16.00-17.00 (afternoon) Monday, the traffic flow value (Qtot) is 1812.5 pcu/hour, the saturation degree (DS) value is 0.21. Segment 2 is Jl. Gen. M. Yusuf and Jl. Arung Mampi peak hours are 16.00-17.00 (afternoon) on Mondays. The traffic flow value (Qtot) is 262.7 pcu/hour, the degree of saturation (DS) value is 0.05. The handling is installing traffic signs; installation of warning lights or traffic lights.

Intersections are the most important factor in determining the capacity and travel time on a road section. The development of transportation in the city of Medan has had an impact on increasing the movement of people, goods and services. This also greatly demands increased transportation facilities and infrastructure in the city of Medan. The increase in the number of vehicles that is not balanced with infrastructure will cause conflicts on roads, especially at the intersection of three Jalan-Sisingamangaraja Jalan .Alfalah To anticipate This requires further study or research. In this research, analysis of intersection performance calculations uses the 1997 (MKJI) guidelines. The survey was carried out on Monday 14 August 2023 to 20 August 2023. Then the peak hours were searched for the volume of vehicle flow crossing the three intersections. Then create a new cycle time for the intersection. The results of the analysis in this research, from survey results, by looking for new cycle times to reduce queue lengths and delays (Delay). The new cycle time obtained to reduce queue lengths and delays for the three intersections on the northern approach is 859.927 seconds/intersection. Then at the southern approach with a total delay of 2,056,013 sec/intersection and at the western approach with a delay of 307,555 sec/intersection. For existing conditions the queue length (QL) is 1321 meters for the northern approach, (QL) 1372 meters for the southern approach and (QL) 1321 meters for the west

Special stopping space for motorbikes is one of the facilities for motorbikes to stop at intersections during the red phase. This special stopping space has been tested on a limited scale to support the movement of motorbikes at signalized intersections in large cities in Indonesia. This research aims to evaluate the intersection and then plan a special stopping room according to the number of motorbikes piling up during the red phase at the intersection. Intersection evaluation is carried out based on primary data and secondary data. The calculation method is guided by the 1997 Indonesian Road Capacity Manual (MKJI) and Technical Planning Guidelines for Special Stop Spaces (RHK) for Motorcycles at Signalized Intersections in Urban Areas.The traffic behavior of the existing intersection is, west approach capacity 335 pcu/hour, DS (Degree of Saturation) 1,878, queue length 97 m and average delay 157 sec/pcu. East approach capacity is 342 pcu/hour, DS (Degree of Saturation) is 2,295, queue length is 97 m, and average delay is 169.3 sec/pcu. North approach capacity is 600 pcu/hour, DS (Degree of Saturation) is 0.546, queue length is 157 m, and average delay is 69.2 sec/pcu. South approach capacity is 941 pcu/hour, DS (Degree of Saturation) 0.987, queue length 245 m, and average delay 111.6 sec/pcu.The special stopping space design on the northern approach is 2 lanes with an approach lane and an area of ​​84 m2; on the southern approach, namely 2 lanes with an approach lane and an area of ​​84 m2; on the western and eastern approaches do not meet the 2012 Age Work Department Service standards in RHK planning.

The development of transportation in the city of Semarang, especially in the Banyumanik area, has an impact on increasing the movement of people, stuff and services. this greatly encourages an increase in transportation facilities and infrastructure in the Banyumanik area. An increase in the number of vehicles that is not matched by the development of infrastructure will cause conflicts on the road, especially at intersections or roundabouts. So far, on roads in the Banyumanik area, at certain hours there is often an ineffective traffic rush with road performance being an important infrastructure in transportation. This study used calculations based on MKJI 1997. The data collection was carried out by survey directly at the intersection location in this study determined 5 days and 3 observation sessions every day. It was found that the tirto agung intersection had 322 types of intersection and the highest traffic was on Wednesday 21 June 2023 with a traffic flow value of 3528 pcu/hour, capacity 2722 pcu/hour, degree of saturation 1.296, intersection delay 92.938 sec/pcu, queue probability 69.225% - 143.302%. Based on the research results, the performance value of the Tirto Agung intersection does not meet the 1997 MKJI requirements where the degree of saturation allowed for the unsignalized intersection type is <0.75, it is necessary to have a physical intersection engineering (APILL) or non-physical (Traffic Engineering) at the intersection location.

A crossroads is a meeting or crossing location of two or more roads and is a place where traffic conflicts occur. The East Crossroads Intersection of Pangkalan Kasai – Batang Cenaku is busy traffic lane because it is a connecting road between Seberida District –East Cross highway with Batang District My breath. The purpose of this research is to find the value of capacity, degree saturation, delay, queue opportunity to determine the level category services of the East Cross Road Intersection of Pangkalan Kasai - Batang Cenaku, and look for handling solutions from the results of service level intersections forlocation of the East Cross Road Intersection of Pangkalan Kasai – Batang Cenaku if traffic flow is hampered by using the 1997 MKJI method. Survey conducted for three days from 06.00 – 18.00 WIB. Based on the results survey and data analysis obtained the highest number of traffic on Sunday at 17.00 – 18.00 WIB at 818.7 pcu/hour, capacity (C) of 2156.24 pcu/hour, degree of saturation (DS) of 0.38, delay of 8.1026 sec/pcu, and the probability of queuing (QPatas – QPbottom) is 17.6480 – 6.9774%. From the results of the degree of saturation are known to be the level of service at the Crossroads East Cross Base Kasai - Batang Cenaku is B where the current is stable, but the starting speed is limited due to traffic conditions, the driver has enough speed to choose speed.

Abstract. Persimpangan merupakan area di mana tiga atau lebih jalan bertemu, berpotongan atau bersilangan. Rambu lalu lintas pada setiap persimpangan menggunakan ruang jalan pada persimpang. Persimpangan juga merupakan salah satu bagian terpenting dari jalan raya, dimana sebagian besar kapasitas lalu lintas, kecepatan, waktu perjalanan, keamanan dan kenyamanan akan tergantung pada perencanaan persimpangan tersebut. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis kinerja persimpangan pada simpang jrakah Kota Semarang dengan melakukan survei lapangan untuk memperoleh data geometri persimpangan, waktu sinyal, jumlah volume kendaraan.Untuk dilakukan analisis data dengan menggunakan MKJI 1997 untuk memperoleh hasil analisis berupa, kapasitas pendekat simpang bersinyal, derajat kejenuhan, panjang antrian, tundaan rata-rata, dan indeks tingkat pelayanan pada simpang bersinyal dengan APILL. Hasil analisis berdasarkan MKJI 1997 dan permen KM no 14 tahun 2006 di peroleh Indeks Tingkat Pelayanan (ITP)  simpang jrakah Kota Semarang, berdasarkan nilai derajat kejenuhan (DS) untuk tingkat pelayanan berdasarkan data hasil analisis di peroleh tingkat pelayanan E untuk pendekat simpang SI ST dan HA RT tingkat pelayanan D untuk pendekat simpang WO RT dan WO ST sedangkan untuk tingkat pelayanan berdasarkan data hasil survey di peroleh tingkat pelayanan C untuk pendekat simpang SI ST dan WO ST tingkat pelayanan D untuk pendekat simpang HA RT dan WO RT. Simpang diberi pengaturan APILL bertujuan untuk menghindari terjadinya konflik lalu lintas dan sebagai upaya untuk mempertahankan kapasitas jalan. Metode yang digunakan dalam analisis kinerja simpang adalah menggunakan perhitungan pada MKJI dan menggunakan software PTV VISSIM. Sedangkan untuk analisis konflik lalu lintas dengan melakukan pengamatan langsung dan dibandingkan dengan software SSAM untuk mengetahui jumlah konflik yang terjadi. Langkah selanjutnya yaitu dengan memberikan rekomendasi penanganan dari permasalahan konflik lalu lintas dengan menggunakan software PTV VISSIM. Rekomendasi penanganan yang dilakukan yaitu dengan melakukan pengaturan ulang waktu siklus menggunakan pengaturan 3 fase dan 4 Fase, yang selanjutnya akan dibandingkan dengan kondisi awal. Dari rekomendasi yang telah dilakukan menggunakan software PTV VISSIM, didapatkan rekomendasi yang paling tepat adalah menggunakan pengaturan 3 Fase. Hasil dari simulasi pengaturan 3 fase, ternyata efektif mengurangi jumlah konflik lalu lintas dan tingkat pelayanan masih dalam kondisi baik.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penyempitan jalan terhadap karakteristik lalu lintas jalan pada halte bus BRT depan Pasar Jatingaleh Semarang. Pergerakan masyarakat yang terjadi di Kota Semarang semakin meningkat seiring dengan perkembangan yang ada hingga menyebabkan meningkatnya arus lalu lintas. Salah satunya permasalahan yang mempengaruhi kondisi lalu lintas yaitu adanya penyempitan jalan, seperti pada jalan Teuku Umar tepatnya di halte bus BRT depan Pasar Jatingaleh Semarang. Pada lokasi tersebut sering terjadi kemacetan lalu lintas sehingga menyebabkan antrian panjang terutama pada jam-jam tertentu. Data diambil langsung dari lapangan meliputi volume, kecepatan, dan kepadatan lalu lintas. Analisis data didasarkan pada Manual Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia (MKJI) 1997 dengan menggunakan perangkat lunak Microsoft Excel. Adapun analisa hubungan karakteristik lalu lintas pada penyempitan jalan di ruas jalan Teuku Umar menggunakan model Greenshield. Dari hasil analisis diketahui bahwa kecepatan maksimum, volume puncak, kepadatan maksimum, kapasitas jalan, dan derajat jenuh atau degree of saturation diketahui dengan melakukan survey lapangan.

Jalan merupakan fakor penting bagi perkembangan kehidupan manusia karena perkembangan jalan dan perkembangan kehidupan manusia saling mempengaruhi meningkatnya kemacetan pada jalan. Diakibatkan bertambahnya kepemilikan kendaraan pribadi, terbatasnya sumber daya untuk pembangunan dan belum optimalnya pengoperasian fasilitas arus lalu lintas yang ada. Pada ruas Jl. Raya Pekajangan tepatnya di simpang 4 Pasar Ngebrak Bligo – Pekalongan, perjalanan terbanyak umumnya terjadi pada sore hari dimana banyak orang melakukan pergerakan serentak di waktu yang sama dan menyebabkan kemacetan. Tujuan dari analisa ini adalah untuk mengetahui penyebab dan dampak kemacetan lalu-lintas di simpang 4 Pasar Ngebrak Bligo sehingga bisa diberi solusi untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut. Setelah diperoleh data volume lalu lintas, dilakukan analisa lalu-lintas berdasar aspek teknis yang didasarkan pada pedoman Manual Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia (MKJI, 1997) untuk menentukan kapasitas, volume lalu-lintas, kecepatan arus bebas, derajat kejenuhan dan tundaan. Oleh karena itu peraturan lalu-lintas oleh dinas terkait sangat penting demi menciptakan keteraturan lalu-lintas.

Economic activity becomes a benchmark in the assessment of the community to achieve prosperity, and becomes a supporter and driver of growth in the surrounding area. Vim Village, Abepura District is one of the service activity centers that has a land use that is so complex and strategically located that it triggers various forms of economic activity, becoming an attraction for people to travel for transportation, especially along Jalan Perkutut. This study examines the relationship of micro-economic activities with traffic performance obtained from side barriers, vehicle volume and road capacity. The research methods used to achieve the objectives are quantitative methods and qualitative methods. The quantitative method uses the analysis of the Indonesian Road Capacity Manual (MKJI, 1997) to obtain vehicle volume, road capacity and traffic performance. The qualitative method uses descriptive analysis that discusses the comparison of the distribution of micro-economic activities that affect side barriers, the comparison of two traffic performance results and spatial planning plans along the Perkutut road. The results showed that the increase in the number of micro-economic activities at night along Jalan Perkutut had an effect on increasing the number of side barriers and the volume of vehicles. In addition, the imbalance in the volume of vehicles and road capacity shows that Perkutut Road traffic performance is experiencing congestion as indicated by the Service Level Index (ITP) with a value of F. Under these conditions, spatial planning for the road network, pedestrian pedestrian arrangement and land use arrangement is needed, especially on microeconomic activities.
