Background: Menstrual pain in the world is very high, 50% of women worldwide, Bulgaria 8.8%, Finland 94% while Indonesia 64.25%. Menstrual pain causes short and long term adverse effects including interference with daily activities and even an increase in absenteeism at the campus, long-term effects cause tissue growth outside the uterus. Menstrual pain can be treated with pharmacological and non-pharmacological therapies. One of the non-pharmacological therapies is inhaling lemon aromatherapy. Limeone contains lots of vitamin C which will control prostaglandins and reduce pain. Objective: To describe the results before and after the application of lemon aromatherapy on reducing menstrual pain. Methods: Case study with descriptive design on 2 respondents who were given lemon aromatherapy for 15 minutes twice a day for 2 days, and measured using Numeric Rating Scale. Results: After lemon aromatherapy was performed on both respondents with menstrual pain, it showed a decrease in the pain scale from moderate pain to mild pain. Hyperemesis Gravidarum is excessive nausea and vomiting during pregnancy, more than 8 times in 24 hours or at any time which can cause symptoms of dehydration, electrolyte imbalance and weight loss. The nature and level of nausea and vomiting can vary, from mild to severe. One of the first alternatives is PC6 acupressure, while the second alternative is using lemon aromatherapy. Objective: To determine the effect of PC6 acupressure therapy with lemon aromatherapy on the frequency of nausea and vomiting in first-term pregnant women with hyperemesis gravidarum in the Cianjur Community Health Center area in 2023. Method: This research is a type of quasi-experimental research with a two group comparison pretest-posttest design. The sampling technique used purposive sampling with a total research sample of 30 respondents. Results: research from post-test measurements P-Value = 0.001 Independent Sample T-Test Ho was rejected and the sample supported the existence of a significant influence. Conclusion: There is an effect of PC6 acupressure with lemon aromatherapy on the incidence of nausea and vomiting in first trimester pregnant women with hyperemesis gravidarum in the Karangtengah Cianjur health center area in 2023.

Post SC patients will complain of pain in the incision area caused by tearing tissue in the abdominal wall and uterine wall. Back pain or pain in the nape is also a complaint commonly felt by post-SC mothers, it is due to the effects of using epidural anesthesia during surgery. But after the operation is complete and the patient begins to regain consciousness, he will feel pain in the part of the body that undergoes surgery. Sectio caesarea surgery has complications of infection, bleeding, injury to the bladder, The purpose of this study was to determine the Comparison of the Effectiveness of aroma therapy lemon and classical music therapy lullaby Against the Pain Scale in Post Partum Mothers after sectio caesarea surgery in the Babusalam Room of Tugu Ibu Hospital in 2023. Research Design Quasi-experimental method is a research method that in its implementation does not use random assignment (random assignment) but by using existing groups. The population in this study is all postoperative caesarean section patients totaling 150 people from caesarean section data from April to May 2023 at Tugu Ibu Hospital. The sample in this study was 30 people divided into 2 intervention groups, each group consisting of 15 people. This study obtained data that before being given therapy, a comparison of post-test pain in the lemon aromatherapy group and lullaby classical music after caesarean section surgery obtained a p value of 0.000, because p > 0.05 it was concluded that there was a significant difference in pain scale after being given lemon aromatherapy therapy and lullaby classical music, which was more effective lemon aroma therapy. Advice For health workers or nurses can apply the administration of Aroma Therapy and Classical Music Therapy to reduce the Pain Scale in Post Partum Mothers after sectio caesarea surgery

Nausea and vomiting (morning sickness), experienced by around 70–80% of pregnant women, is a phenomenon that often occurs at 5–12 weeks of gestation. Lemon is one of the herbal oils that is a safe medicine against morning sickness in pregnant women. The population of this study was composed of first-trimester pregnant women with nausea and vomiting. Prior to the intervention in the oral lemon control group, there were seven respondents (28.0%) with a frequency of nausea and vomiting > 4, then 12 respondents (48.0%) with a frequency of <4 and no nausea, as well as six respondents (24.0%). After intervention in the oral lemon control group, there were five respondents (20.0%) with a frequency of nausea and vomiting > 4, then 14 respondents (56.0%) with a frequency of <4 and no nausea, and as many as six respondents (24.0%). Before the intervention, a p-value <0.001 was obtained in the control group. In the group, after being given the intervention, the p-value was <0.001. Whereas in the oral lemon control group, the p-value was <0.001 before the intervention, and after being given the oral lemon intervention, the p-value was <0.001. The research was conducted in the Ananda Clinic Work Area, Semarang Regency. The results of the study showed that there was an effect of giving lemon aromatherapy inhalation on morning sickness in pregnant women.

Lemon aromatherapy is a type of aromatherapy that can be used to treat pain and anxiety. One of the substances contained in lemon is linalool which is useful for stabilizing the nervous system so that it can have a calming effect on anyone who inhales it. To explore the effects of using lemon aromatherapy in reducing pain in the first stage of labor at the Nurridha Pratama Clinic, Tanjung Selamat Village, Sei Tuan District, Deli Serdang Regency in 2022. The type of quantitative research with a research design using Quasy Experiment with a One Group Pre and Post Test Design. This research was conducted at the Nurridha Pratama Clinic, Tanjung Selamat Village, Sei Tuan District, Deli Serdang Regency in 2022. The population in this study was 15 people, then the sample was part of all the objects studied and was considered to represent the entire population (Notoatmodjo, 2015). The number of samples used was 15 people using the purposive sampling technique. The Data Analysis Technique used calculations with the Paired T Test. The data normality test uses the Shapiro-Wilk value, as a testing criterion, if the significant value is > 0.05 then it can be said that the collected data is normally distributed. The results of the statistical test obtained a significant value with P Value (0.000) <a (0.05) so that Ho is rejected. So it can be concluded that there is an effect of lemon aromatherapy on reducing labor pain in the first stage at the Nurridha Pratama Clinic, Tanjung Selamat Village, Sei Tuan District, Deli Serdang Regency in 2022.

Abdominal pain is the main symptom of acute abdomen which occurs suddenly and is non-specific. Pain management includes providing analgesic therapy and non-pharmacological therapy in the form of cognitive behavioral interventions such as relaxation techniques, slow deep breathing, music therapy and aroma therapy, imagery and biofeedback. The aim of the research was to determine the effect of the slow deep breathing technique with lemon aroma therapy on reducing pain intensity in abdominal pain patients. This type of quasi-experimental quantitative research uses a one-group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study were 42 patients with complaints of abdominal pain who were treated. Sampling used a total sampling technique so that a sample of 42 respondents was obtained. The data collection instrument uses the Numeric Ratting Scale. The data analysis technique used in this research is Paired t-Test. The results of the study showed that there was an effect of the slow deep breathing technique with lemon aroma therapy on reducing pain intensity in abdominal pain patients with a p value of 0.001 (<0.005). The average value of the pain scale before the intervention was on a scale of 6-8 with a standard deviation of 0.650, while the average value of the pain scale after the intervention was on a scale of 2-6 with a standard deviation of 0.504. The conclusion of the research is that there is an effect of the slow deep breathing technique with lemon aroma therapy on reducing pain intensity in abdominal pain.
