However, the nuanced cadet perspectives spotlight a need for refined emphasis on the practical application of English proficiency in real-world maritime scenarios. Cadet self-assessment underscores both confidence in academic intelligence and an identified need for additional language support, calling for targeted interventions. Exploring professional competences uncovers a disparity between technical proficiency and English Maritime communication, highlighting the importance of a holistic approach to bridge this gap. Cadet motivations vary from a genuine passion for maritime activities to the allure of lucrative career prospects and international recognition. Recognizing this diversity urges the need for personalised career guidance and mentorship programmes. The research also sheds light on English Maritime and Literacy proficiency, differentiating between basic skills and the ability to handle complex communication scenarios. Recommendations include integrating advanced language modules and tailored language support initiatives within the curriculum, ensuring a seamless development of linguistic skills alongside technical competences. In conclusion, this research offers a comprehensive understanding of maritime education at STIP Jakarta, unveiling challenges and opportunities that resonate globally. Background: Community service carried out at RW 09 Margahayu Utara Village, Babakan Ciparay Bandung District through community service activities which are an annual agenda for lecturers and students of the Immanuel Bandung Health Institute. In 2022, the Immanuel Bandung Institute of Health is concentrating on community service activities in Margahayu Utara Village and Babakan Ciparay Village, Babakan Ciparay District. The target of this community service group activity is the community in RW.09, North Marhagayu Village. Purpose:  the purpose of community service is to increase the knowledge of the RW.09 community, namely stress management education on early detection of breast cancer in RW. 09 Kelurahan Margahayu Utara, as well as knowing about education in health education. Methods: This activity was carried out in RW.09 Kel. Margahayu Utara by using a community empowerment approach. Results: The communities in question are the people of RT 1, RT 2, RT 3, RT 4, RT 5 and RT 6 Margahayu Utara, Babakan Ciparay District. The form of health counseling provided is through the provision of material with lectures, discussions and demonstrations. Based on the evaluation in the form of pre-test and post-test, it was found that there was an increase in knowledge of RW.09 from 50% to 90%. This health education also provides enrichment on good stress management for the community and health cadres in RW.09, Babakan Ciparay District.

Students are an important community in a university. The ultimate goal of a student in a college is to complete a final assignment. However, many students experience problems with delays in completing their final assignments. The aim of this research is to analyze what factors hinder and delay students in completing their final assignments. This type of research uses qualitative research where interviewing sources from the Koran science and tafsir study program. The results of this research are that the inhibiting factors in student graduation include lecturer behavior that makes things difficult for students, a lack of synchronization of information between the study program and the faculty, the presence of students who work part-time, and a lack of time and motivation for a student.

This literacy and numeracy training and mentoring service activity is to prepare the nation's next generation to face challenges in the global era, where to produce selective education requires quality human resources, including the development of literacy and numeracy in learning at SDN Sri Mukti 01, North Tambun, use digital-based technology at SDN Sri Mukti 01 Tambun Utara and knowledge for teachers and parents and guardians regarding the use of digital-based technology in learning. Training and development methods are carried out offline or face-to-face by students through lecturer assistance which includes introducing the scope of literacy and numeracy learning, as well as supporting teachers in developing literacy and numeracy by utilizing digital-based technology in learning and teaching activities. It is hoped that with this training, SDN Sri Mukti 01 Tambun Utara students and teachers can develop digital-based learning and teaching activities for numeracy literacy

Training and accompaniment in the financial management of female fishermen in catch processing and marketing groups by accounting lecturers has a significant role in increasing financial literacy in Tasikmadu Village, Prigi, Trenggalek Regency. This community service article discusses the importance of efforts to increase financial literacy. Accounting lecturers provide training on financial management and accounting practices to the Catch Processing and Marketing Group, as well as providing guidance in applying these concepts in daily business operations. Apart from that, lecturers can introduce financial management guidebooks, accounting applications and help business groups understand financial records and create accountable financial reports. The positive impacts include increasing economic prosperity, reducing business risks, sustainable growth, contributing to local economic growth, and improving the overall community economy.

The storytelling competition, as one of the featured competitions in the 2022 Langsep Challenge at Santa Maria Langsep Catholic High School, Malang, was the main highlight of the event. This event showcases the creativity and expertise of the competition participants in telling stories in an interesting and engaging way. Participants from various junior high schools compete to win the champion title in this competition. The various stories presented include interesting themes related to folklore. The competition jury, which consists of experienced lecturers, observes and assesses each participant's presentation based on criteria such as grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, how to tell a story, mastery of the stage, clothing, properties used, moral message, time management, and so on. This competition is not only an opportunity to show students' speaking skills, but also develop creative thinking and self-expression skills. With full support from the school and the enthusiasm of the participants, the Story Telling Competition at Langsep Challenge 2022 created an atmosphere full of enthusiasm and joy among students.

Community service teaches to lecturers and trainers at the Training and Education Center of Muhammadiyah University of Malang (Pusdiklat UMM) plays a crucial role in enhancing the qualifications of lecturers and administrative staff to meet the established standards of human resources both nationally and internationally, in line with the dynamics of global human resource competencies. In this context, Smart Indonesia Academy, a management company, provides competency assessor training at Pusdiklat UMM as a community empowerment effort. This research adopts an analytical descriptive method to collect, analyze, and interpret data. The research findings indicate the smooth implementation of community service activities by Smart Indonesia Academy at the Pusdiklat UMM office. In conclusion, this study highlights the complexity and challenges of implementing competency-based training and education approaches in the workplace and higher education, emphasizing the importance of in-depth understanding and problem-solving efforts to enhance implementation effectiveness.

Online lectures have become the wrong option in our digital age. Therefore, in this online lecture procedure, the lecturer was required to be able to produce media and lecture approaches. A favorable learning environment, student participation, lecturer performance during instruction, lecture media, and method are a few of the variables that affect the attainment of lecture skills. This study aims to investigate and characterize the efforts made by lecturers to increase student engagement in online courses. This study used a case study approach to qualitative research as its methodology. The study's findings indicate that there are numerous challenges facing online lectures in the current digital era, including a dearth of engaged students, a lack of infrastructure and resources for lecturers and students, as well as network and Internet issues and data availability quotas. All of the lectures given in online classrooms by professors have an impact. The study's findings suggest that lecturers should try to be innovative and creative during the stages of preparing, implementing, and evaluating lectures online.

This study aims to describe the stages of development and feasibility of teaching materials assisted by the Filmorago application for class VII description text material. The use of the Borg and Gall model in this study modified by Sugiyono, namely through the potential and problem analysis stage, data collection, product design, design validation, revision and trial stage. The validation stage included material expert lecturers and media expert lecturers to evaluate the feasibility of the material and the feasibility of the media. The sample of this study was 31 students of class VII of SMP Swasta Musyawarah Perbulan. Data collection techniques with interviews and questionnaires. The research instrument is a questionnaire sheet for validation of material experts and media experts using Likert scale calculations. Data analysis using qualitative descriptive analysis. The research shows that the product of the teaching material for description text assisted by the Filmorago application gets research results with the criteria "Very Good" with an average of 90%, with the results of the material expert validator of 85% with Very Good criteria" As well as the results of the media expert validator of 90% with the criteria "Very Good" The results of the product trial received a score from the teacher of 96% with the criteria "Very Good" and a student assessment of 90% with the criteria "Very Good". Therefore, class VII description text-assisted teaching materials are very feasible to use in learning.

This Community Service Activity (PKM) is one manifestation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, namely providing benefits to the community. This PKM activity is aimed at high school students located on Jalan Social Palembang. The method for implementing community service activities is by providing online training. The target participants for this training are Karya Ibu High School students. For the Raden Fatah State Islamic University, the Faculty of Economics and Islamic Business is one of the means to introduce the Raden Fatah State Islamic University of Palembang and is a community service activity carried out by Lecturers at the Raden Fatah State Islamic University of Palembang to be able to apply the knowledge they have to the community. . The topic chosen for this activity was training in making financial reports among high school/vocational school students. This topic was chosen because it remembers the importance of understanding in preparing financial reports to be able to measure the company's performance and financial position. The output resulting from this community service activity is a module in the form of a financial report compilation and as the final stage, we will create a report on the implementation of this Community Service (PKM) task.

Many researchers, including lecturers, teachers, students, and the general public, have adopted apps to help them write articles. Students are currently expected to produce scientific articles published in accredited journals or respected international journals as part of their final assignment. However, from the observations of the service team, there are several problems faced by the service partners, especially MPI students. They have difficulty preparing scientific article manuscripts and are less familiar with applications that can speed up the preparation process. To overcome this, the service was carried out through lecture, discussion, and mentoring methods using service-learning, which involved pre-implementation, implementation, and post-implementation stages. The results of this service showed that the training provided participants with understanding and knowledge about using the Perplexity application as a tool to speed up the preparation of articles and paraphrasing to avoid plagiarism. This is evident from the comparison of the participants' pre-test and post-test results before and after the training.  

Acne is a chronic disease caused by blockage of the oil glands in the skin. The beauty treatment for treating acne is Mesotherapy Acne, which is a treatment technique that incorporates certain substances into the subcutaneous fat tissue. The purpose of this study was to find out the treatment techniques and the effectiveness of Mesotherapy acne technology. The method used in this study is the method of R&D, interviews, observation, documentation and literature. This research developed three acne facial care techniques, namely the technique of pulling up, rotating, and pressing. The author made different studies based on duration, technique, procedure and type of treatment. Product validation of acne facial care technique books using acne mesotherapy beauty technology was carried out by 2 beauty lecturer validators. The results of the scores for all content aspects, display aspects, language aspects, and supporting questions obtained a total score of 28 and 29. Intervals 0-16 are not accepted and 17-32 are accepted. The conclusion of the validation results from the two validator data used is acceptable. Based on these three techniques, the upward pulling motion is effective because it can reduce acne. It is recommended that a guidebook for acne facial care techniques using mesotherapy acne beauty technology can be further investigated because it is effective in dealing with acne skin problems. Prepare a maintenance technique book that is copyrighted nationally so that it can be used as teaching material for beauty field reading books.

The purpose of this research is to find out how the legal rules regarding cooperation agreements in business activities are viewed from a business law perspective and what forms of cooperation in trade activities can be carried out by company management. By using normative juridical research methods, it is concluded: 1. The legal rules regarding cooperation agreements in business activities are reviewed from the perspective of business law, referring to Civil law, especially Article 1313 of the Civil Code, which states that "An agreement is an act in which one or more people bind oneself to one or more other people." So it is clear that agreements give rise to agreements, as well as the Trade Code and Indonesian laws and regulations in various forms of business entities. 2. Forms of cooperation in trading activities that can be carried out by company management, such as Mergers, Consolidations, Joint Ventures and Franchising. A merger is a combination of one or several business entities so that from an economic point of view they are one unit, without merging the merged business entities. Consolidation/merger between two or more business entities that combine themselves to merge into one and form one new business entity (consolidation). This aims to "make healthy" the business entity concerned or what is usually called restructuring. Joint Venture is an agreement between two or more parties to collaborate in an activity. With this we from the team of lecturers of the Information Systems study program to implement from the government regulation of the Republic of Indonesia No.7 of 2021, for the preparation of business development strategies of SMEs in the utilization of technology. Utilizing digital technology to introduce its products and services to the public at large, especially among people with disabilities (Diskraf). This can be done either through online chat applications (Whatsapp, LINE, telegram, etc.), social media (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.), online stores on various e-commerce platforms (Bukalapak, Tokopedia, Blibli, etc.), own websites, to the use of various applications or other business support software. ESQ Business School (STIMIK ESQ), with the University's tri dharma program namely Community Service, ESQ College of Management Science and Computer Science, the Information Systems study program provides coaching, strategy workshops, and information technology for the management of a business/business. This strategy direction can be used in the future by MSME managers/participants in carrying out their business or business processes. Therefore, if a business process performs the strategy and mastery of the Information System well, then the business will be successful in carrying out their business or business in the future.

This research aims to evaluate the development of teachers' professionalism in the digital era. The applied research method is a Literature Review. Data collection is conducted through library research to identify articles relevant to the research topic. The government strives to develop the teaching profession as a strong and respected occupation, as reflected in the enactment of Law No. 14 of 2005 concerning Teachers and Lecturers, which aims to develop the teaching profession through legal protection. With the rapid advancement of digital technology, teachers need to have appropriate qualifications to perform their duties effectively. A study indicates that strategies to enhance teacher competence involve comprehensive monitoring of learning aspects and gradual support from school principals and supervisors through training. The professionalism of teachers is reflected in their skills in applying information technology precisely and developing creative and innovative teaching methods.      

With the various advantages that CodeIgniter has, there are still many who haven't used it because they don't know enough about the CodeIgniter framework. Just like at Muhammadiyah University of Jambi, students don't know about the CodeIgniter framework. Students' ignorance of the CodeIgniter framework is due to the lecturer's limitations in teaching, namely the lecturer's limited time to teach or limited time. So, lecturers at the Faculty of Science and Technology teach only material according to the established syllabus, they cannot teach material outside of that, such as: material about the CodeIgniter framework. Given this problem, the author intends to hold training for Muhammadiyah University Jambi students about web development and web creation with the CodeIgniter framework. With this training, students can learn about the history of the web, web development, the meaning of frameworks, the most important thing is that students can create their own web using the CodeIgniter framework.

One of the educational problems that occur in Indonesia is the low interest in reading of students, especially the ability to read foreign language texts that are still low. This service activity aims to improve the understanding of accounting students of Politeknik Negeri Semarang in understanding international articles. The implementation of the activity was carried out by the author in the work unit of the Politeknik Negeri Semarang, Department of Accounting. There are 4 activities carried out from the 1st to the 30th of August 2020, namely; 1) Pre-Test reading habits and understanding of students in reading and understanding international articles, 2) Creating teaching materials for virtual tutorials and simulations of reading international articles, 3) Creating international article analysis assignment procedures, 4) Post Test of reading habits and student understanding in reading and understanding international articles. The activity was attended by final semester students of the finance and banking study program with 71 participants from KP 3A, 3B, and 3C classes. During the implementation of the activity the author received support from superiors, fellow lecturers, students and education personnel in the Accounting Department so that all activities could be completed.

This community service was carried out to increase Islamic cooperative literacy for teachers of SD IT Al Manar Takengon with a service learning approach. The community service team in this activity consisted of two lecturers and five students of IAIN Takengon's Sharia Banking Study Programme. Activities were carried out in September 2023 at SD IT Al-Manar Takengon. The training was carried out by providing material exposure to Islamic cooperatives' principles, operational mechanisms, and procedures for establishing Islamic cooperatives. The movement continued with role-playing learning to increase teachers' understanding of Islamic cooperatives. The activity results showed an increase in teacher literacy about Islamic cooperatives, which inspired the teachers to establish Islamic cooperatives at SD IT Al-Manar Takengon.

This research aims to investigate how the values ​​of the motto "Satu Tungku Tiga Batu" are understood and internalized through Islamic Education learning at Fakfak State Polytechnic. In this context, Islamic Education plays a significant role in shaping individuals' character and morality. The motto, which carries the meaning of unity, cooperation, and mutual support, has not been fully interpreted in the context of Islamic learning at Fakfak State Polytechnic. A case study method is used to examine how this motto is applied in the Islamic Education curriculum. Data were collected through participatory observation, interviews with lecturers and students, and content analysis of lecture materials. The results of this research highlight the importance of the role of Islamic education in shaping understanding and acceptance of moral values ​​among students. The implications of these findings include suggestions for curriculum development and strategies to enhance the integration of Islamic values ​​in an academic context. This research contributes to understanding how Islamic education can strengthen ethical principles and reinforce communal bonds within the educational environment.
