Science and technology will facilitate human work. However, on the other hand it will increase competition. In facing intense competition, it is necessary to have competent human resources. Students are expected to be academically prepared, in the form of knowledge and skill readiness to face increasingly fierce competition. One way to see student competence is to look at learning outcomes that can be represented by the exam scores taken. The midterm exam (UTS) is a form of exam which is an assessment component. By knowing the UTS scores, the lecturer knows the distribution of students in terms of academic competence. For this reason, it is necessary to group (clustering) using the k-means algorithm as a consideration for lecturers in forming student study groups based on UTS value clusters.

Pamaris Village is located in the highlands of Gunungtua Village, Cijambe District, Subang Regency. The existence of this area which is located in the highlands makes it difficult for the community to get clean water for their daily needs. Has a river flow that is used for agricultural and fishery water but is not utilized for clean water needs because the community doubts the quality of river water to be used as a source of clean water. With the background of the problems in Pamaris village, the lecturers and students of the Civil Engineering study program, Faculty of Engineering, University of Subang took the initiative to do community service by making a simple water treatment tool to treat river water so that it can be used to meet the community's clean water needs. The planned water treatment system consists of a coagulation tank, a sedimentation tank, a slow sand filter and a fast sand filter. The filter material consists of coral, palm fiber, zeolite, split stone, palm fiber, activated carbon and sand. The results of testing the treated water showed that all parameters of Physics, Inorganic Chemistry and Organic Chemistry were still within the limits of clean water quality standards. The results of bacteriological examination did not find bacteria. Thus, in general, water quality can be used as a source of clean water for the community.

Since the increase of Covid 19 cases, the government has affirmed the implementation of online learning for all students, including university students. Online learning is a learning process conducted in a network that utilizes the internet, without face-to-faceinteractions. In practice, online learning has many obstacles which affect the success of students in the courses. Creating a sense of place in online learning can be done by improving communication between lecturers and students: humanization of students, the socialization process related to online learning, the importance of the role of lecturers in online learning, the contribution of students in online learning, learning media, guidelines and learning targets. With a conducive learning atmosphere, optimizing the role of lecturers and student contributions, can meet the desired learning targets.Efforts are made to achieve effective communication. The success of learning depends on the lecturers and students, each of which has a role that cannot be ruled out. The role of technology has a significant effect on the online learning process, such as internet access, communication media, and learning media. In the end, this effective communication effort is expected to be able to encouragestudents to play a maximum role in online learning, especially in situations where face-to-face learning is not possible, such as during a pandemic.

One of the learning characteristics related to absorbing, processing, and conveying this information is the learning style of students. Learning style is a very important learning modality. Information related to the characteristics of the learning styles of students to be taught is very important for lecturers to improve the quality of their learning. Students will also find it easier to motivate themselves in learning. There are 3 learning styles such as visual, audio and kinesthetic where each style gives characteristics to the child. , the task of parents is to observe the child and then learn how to deal with the pattern of educating him at home. When students face obstacles from learning, it is necessary for the role of parents to know the child's learning style in order to help identify and develop the potential in each child. Some parents of students do a checklist about each child's learning style so that in understanding the parents can help so that the learning style becomes potential for the child
