This study aims to analyze the internationalization strategy of SMEs through the integration of SWOT and PESTEL analysis, using a case study of PT Mujnah Kemiri Lombok. SMEs play an important role in the national economy; however, in the process of expanding into international markets, they face various challenges from both internal and external factors that need to be comprehensively identified. Therefore, a strategic analysis is required to understand the factors influencing the success of internationalization. This study employs a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation related to the export activities of PT Mujnah Kemiri Lombok. Data analysis was conducted by identifying internal factors using SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) and external factors using PESTEL analysis (Political, Economic, Social, Technological, Environmental, and Legal). The results show that the internationalization process of PT Mujnah Kemiri Lombok occurs gradually, starting from the domestic market and expanding into export markets through technological transformation and network expansion. The company’s main strengths lie in its supply chain network, business experience, and adoption of production technology, while its main weakness is the adaptation of human resources to technological changes. From an external perspective, government support acts as a key driving factor, while global price competition and logistics costs remain major challenges. This study is expected to provide both theoretical and practical contributions, particularly for SMEs in formulating appropriate internationalization strategies and enhancing competitiveness in the global market.

This study examined the operational performance of CV Fortis Sportwear Indonesia (FSI) before implementing the Balanced Scorecard approach, identified the factors that hindered each Balanced Scorecard perspective, and analyzed the company's operational performance when measured using this approach. This study employed a descriptive quantitative method, aimed at providing a systematic, factual, and accurate overview of CV FSI's operational performance based on the Balanced Scorecard approach. Data were collected through interviews, questionnaires, observations, and literature review to obtain information related to the four main perspectives of the Balanced Scorecard: financial, customer, internal business processes, and learning and growth. After implementing the Balanced Scorecard, the performance evaluation of CV Fortis Sportswear Indonesia became more comprehensive compared to the previous system, which focused solely on financial aspects. The financial perspective showed improvement, but the customer aspect remained adequate, with declining retention and increasing complaints. Internal business processes still faced inefficiencies and quality issues, despite the introduction of new technology. The learning and growth perspective also improved through training, but employee satisfaction remained moderate. The Balanced Scorecard proved to provide a more comprehensive performance assessment and identified the need for improvements in customer, internal processes, and human resource development.

This study analyzes the role of the Golkar Party of Serang City in the formulation and oversight of Regional Regulation Number 11 of 2019 on the Implementation of Tourism Business Governance using the Institutional Analysis and Development (IAD) framework. The study aims to examine how political party institutions perform their functions in local legislative processes, particularly in terms of public representation, interest articulation, and policy oversight. A qualitative case study approach was employed, involving in-depth interviews with party actors and members of the Regional House of Representatives (DPRD), as well as document analysis of relevant policy materials. The findings reveal that Golkar’s role in the formulation and supervision of the regulation was predominantly carried out by its legislative faction through informal mechanisms, while the party’s organizational structure played a limited institutional role. The process of absorbing public aspirations was relatively constrained and tended to favor groups with close social and political ties, indicating that the party has not fully exercised its functions of public articulation and accountability. From the perspective of the IAD framework, this condition reflects weaknesses in internal rules, actor capacity, and interaction mechanisms within the party as a political institution in the policy arena. Therefore, strengthening Golkar’s institutional capacity is essential to enable a more substantive, responsive, and inclusive role in local legislative and policy oversight processes

This study employs the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method following the PRISMA 2020 Statement guidelines to identify the main models and indicators used in measuring the performance of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). The literature selection process includes the stages of identification, screening, eligibility assessment, and inclusion, resulting in ten articles from reputable Q1 international journals. The analysis reveals that the most frequently used performance measurement models are integrated performance models such as the Balanced Scorecard, Performance Prism, and models based on resource capability, customer, internal process, and financial perspectives. Commonly used indicators include sales growth, profitability, market share, customer satisfaction, process flexibility, technology adoption, and business sustainability. The study concludes that although financial measures remain dominant, non-financial dimensions—such as digital capability, stakeholder engagement, and internal process effectiveness—are increasingly important for MSMEs operating in the context of global market dynamics and digital transformation. The implications of this study provide theoretical contributions to the development of MSME performance measurement frameworks and offer practical guidance for MSME managers in selecting indicators that align with the characteristics of small and medium-sized enterprises.

This research aims to analyze the financial feasibility and marketing strategy of Etawa goat farming in Kaligesing District, which is recognized as one of the main centers for Etawa goat breeding in Indonesia. The case study was conducted at Setia Farm, a representative and active breeder in the region. The financial analysis employed several indicators, including Break-Even Point (BEP), Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), and Gross Benefit-Cost Ratio (Gross B/C). The findings show that the Gross B/C value reached 4.7, indicating a high return compared to investment cost. The NPV value was positive, and the IRR exceeded the prevailing loan interest rate, highlighting that the business generates significant profitability over time. Additionally, the BEP was achieved in a relatively short period, which signifies the business has strong potential for short-term capital recovery and low financial risk. From a marketing perspective, Setia Farm implements a combination of product excellence, adaptive pricing strategies, diverse distribution channels, and active promotional efforts. Their flagship products—mainly superior Etawa goats and processed dairy products—are positioned to meet market demand effectively. The farm also uses both direct marketing and digital platforms, such as social media and e-commerce, to expand its reach. Promotion is carried out through agricultural events, online campaigns, and collaboration with livestock communities. These strategies contribute to increasing brand awareness, building customer loyalty, and improving competitiveness. The integration of financial feasibility and strategic marketing supports the sustainability and growth of Etawa goat farming in Kaligesing. The results of this study can serve as a reference for livestock entrepreneurs, investors, and policymakers in developing similar agribusiness models that are profitable, resilient, and market-oriented.

PT Unilever Indonesia’s strategic application is examined through the Balanced Scorecard framework, focusing on four key perspectives: financial, customer, internal business processes, and learning and growth. The analysis reveals that while the company demonstrates strong financial performance, such as high ROI and ROE, challenges like declining annual profits and increasing liabilities signal the need for improved cost management and risk mitigation. Unilever's strategy emphasizes innovation and customer relationships, leveraging Total Quality Management (TQM) and continuous product enhancements. However, internal issues such as employee work culture, inadequate facilities, and employee satisfaction remain significant obstacles to organizational performance. The findings suggest a need for stronger employee engagement and workplace improvements, alongside enhanced financial sustainability strategies. Future research could explore how external factors, such as shifting market trends and government regulations, influence Unilever’s strategic decisions and overall success.

The findings reveal that target setting to build public interest is carried out through several measures. First, institutional development involves transforming pesantren from a salafi model into an integrated institution equipped with formal education facilities. This transformation includes requiring students to reside on-site and implementing strict selection processes to maintain the quality of the pesantren. Additionally, programs and curricula are designed to align with community needs by considering feedback from prospective students' parents, many of whom desire a combination of formal education, pesantren learning, and Quran memorization. Furthermore, the performance of pesantren in building public interest is measured through four perspectives: financial perspective, customer satisfaction perspective, internal business process perspective, and growth and learning perspective.

This study aims to explore the implementation of the Balanced Scorecard (BSC) through the digital system "MyCore" in measuring and improving employee performance at Bank BRI Unit Sokaraja Tengah. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through semi-structured interviews with key informants, observations of work practices, and analysis of internal documents (performance reports, SOPs). Data analysis was carried out through data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions with verification through source triangulation. The research findings indicate that the "MyCore" system integrates four BSC perspectives (finance, customer, internal business process, learning & growth) with specific performance indicators that affect incentives and career development. The financial and customer perspectives appear to have a strong emphasis, reflected in the direct impact on incentives and bonuses. The implementation of internal business processes is supported by standardization through MyCore and technology adoption. The importance of the learning and growth perspective is realized through regular training programs and bootcamp interventions for low-performing employees, which have proven effective in improving subsequent evaluation scores. In general, the implementation of the BSC via MyCore creates a structured, transparent, and adaptive assessment mechanism, encouraging productivity and professionalism. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of a transparent performance evaluation system that has a direct impact on career development and incentives, while also demonstrating the effectiveness of structured interventions in improving employee performance at the micro banking unit level.
