This study aims to analyze how business model innovation and organizational structure play a role in increasing creativity in Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) through the Open Innovation approach. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach on several SMEs that apply the principle of open innovation. The results show that the flexibility of organizational structure and the adoption of innovative business models are key to creating a sustainable innovative ecosystem. This study also underlines the importance of external collaboration, business model adaptability, and leadership that supports creativity. These findings provide practical implications for the development of SME policies and strategies in the digital economy era.

Indonesia's micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) continue to encounter a range of obstacles, particularly in enhancing their productivity and competitiveness. The 2020 survey conducted by the Ministry of Education and Cultural Affairs indicates that Indonesia still has substantial challenges in terms of education quality, especially in rural and underdeveloped urban areas. Several factors, such as the availability of high-quality education, access to educational resources, and the level of teaching excellence, can significantly impact individuals' capacity to effectively manage their enterprises and promote innovation (Kemendikbud RI, 2020). This study investigates the link between knowledge sharing practices, innovation, and employee performance within Indonesian MSMEs. Through exploratory analysis, it offers fresh insights into how innovation and knowledge sharing behaviour can affect employee performance in Indonesian MSMEs. The main objective is to analyse and explore the impact of innovation and information sharing behaviours on employee performance in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Indonesia. Based on this research and its findings, several strategies have been identified. These strategies aim to explore the complex relationship between an employee's performance, their willingness to share knowledge, and their ability to demonstrate innovative behaviours in MSMEs. Future study could focus on improving the quality of human resources, specifically in areas such as knowledge, expertise, competence, and entrepreneurial attitude. Investing in the development of human resources yields benefits for both MSME business owners and the overall well-being of workers..

These enterprises not only address social challenges but also contribute significantly to economic development by creating sustainable solutions and opportunities within their communities. This study explores the intersection of women entrepreneurship, social innovation, and community-based enterprises, emphasizing their potential to drive inclusive economic growth. By leveraging local resources and addressing community-specific needs, women entrepreneurs act as catalysts for change, promoting social equity and economic empowerment. The research highlights key success factors, challenges, and strategies adopted by women-led community-based enterprises to achieve long-term economic and social impact. The findings suggest that supporting women entrepreneurs can amplify their contributions to economic development and societal well-being, particularly in underserved areas.

Dead skin cells can occur due to many factors, such as increasing age, sun exposure, and an unhealthy lifestyle. Signs of skin problems due to the buildup of dead skin cells are dull skin, acne, and dry skin.  Body scrub is a type of skin care that can provide many benefits for skin health and beauty. Scrub is the process of exfoliating dead skin cells using a scrub or natural ingredients. Pedada fruit scrub is a natural beauty care innovation originating from the coast of Indonesia, especially from areas rich in pedada fruit plants (Sonneratia spp.). Pedada fruit is known to have high antioxidant content which can provide benefits for the skin, such as brightening it, reducing wrinkles, and fighting the effects of free radicals. This scrub uses pedada fruit extract which is rich in flavonoids, tannins and vitamin C to care for the skin naturally. This body scrub product not only offers beauty benefits but is also environmentally friendly because the raw materials are easy to find in coastal areas and do not require complicated chemical processes. This research aims to examine the benefits of pedada fruit scrub as a natural beauty solution that is rich in antioxidants.

This research is motivated by the low number of sales of typical food products in Dua Koto District, which is caused by the lack of promotion and innovation of products. The purpose of this research is to analyse the right strategy to increase product sales in the future. This research uses descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and SWOT analysis. The results showed that the most effective strategy is the ST strategy, which utilises existing strengths to overcome various threats that arise. This strategy includes increasing promotions, product innovation, and improving service quality to make products more competitive in the market. With the implementation of this strategy, it is expected that managers and sellers of typical food products can be more active in promoting their products, both through social media and direct marketing. In addition, innovations in packaging and product variations also need to be considered in order to attract more consumers. If this strategy is implemented optimally, it is expected that the number of sales of typical food products in Kecamatan Dua Koto will increase significantly in the future.

Economic digitalization has become a key driver of growth in various regions, including Medan City. The development of e-commerce and local startups plays a vital role in this economic transformation by enhancing market access, accelerating product distribution, and creating new job opportunities. E-commerce allows business owners to reach a broader consumer base, while local startups foster innovations tailored to the needs of Medan's society. This paper aims to analyze the role of e-commerce and local startups in enhancing economic growth in Medan City, as well as the challenges and opportunities within this digital ecosystem. The findings suggest that these two sectors complement each other in creating an inclusive and sustainable economic ecosystem.

This study aims to analyze the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into Strategic Human Resource Management (SHRM) and its contribution to enhancing organizational performance using a bibliometric approach. The research method involves analyzing data from Scopus and Crossref databases with the help of VOSviewer software to map research trends, keyword relationships, and publication distributions. The findings reveal that AI plays a significant role in optimizing HR processes, such as data-driven decision-making, productivity enhancement, and more efficient talent management. Key trends include innovations in HR practices, the utilization of big data, and sustainability practices (green HRM). The analysis identifies a significant increase in publications since 2020, reflecting growing academic interest in this topic. This research provides practical significance by helping organizations understand the strategic benefits of AI in addressing HR challenges and driving sustainable performance. The findings of this study are expected to serve as a reference for future research exploring AI implementation across various organizational contexts.

This study explores the role of agile leadership in crisis management, emphasizing the lessons learned from the COVID-19 pandemic. MSMEs are the business entities that contribute the most to employment in Indonesia. During the 1997 crisis, MSMEs were able to survive and become models in the case of economic crises. However, during the Covid-19 Pandemic, MSMEs are allegedly the most affected. The Indonesian government uses MSMEs to revive economic conditions that have been slumped during the Covid-19 Pandemic. In the midst of the boom, MSMEs in Indonesia, especially the invasion of imported products, need to find solutions in maintaining the sustainable performance of MSMEs. Innovation is needed by paying attention to open innovation and knowledge sharing so that MSMEs can rise again. This research is located in Surakarta, Indonesia with a saturated sample format of 50 Batik MSMEs. Data was obtained from Surakarta Batik MSMEs in the period of October to November 2024. Perseption measuarement in sustainable innovation peroformance, open innovation and knowledge sharing variable.  The analysis tool uses path analysis equipped with t-test, F-test, determination coefficient, correlation test and Sobel test. The sobel test is used to determine the role of variable intervening. Before the analysis, the data is tested using data quality testing (validity and reliability). The findings shown that open innovation significant positive on knowledge sharing. Open  innovation and knowledge sharing have a significant positive effect on sustainability innovation performance. Direct effect, more effective in improving the sustainable innovation performance.  Another finding shows that although open innovation is directly more effective in influencing the sustainable innovation performance. Sobel test, show that knowledge sharing is more emphasized as an intervention although the influence is effective if it is carried out by choosing direct effect. The results of this study contribute to sustainable innovation performance in MSMEs Batik.

Digitalization has become a transformative force reshaping how organizations innovate and sustain competitive advantages in an interconnected global economy. This study explores the intricate relationship between business digitalization, innovation capabilities, and sustainability outcomes. Employing a comprehensive literature review, it examines how digital transformation fosters innovative practices and supports sustainable business models. Key findings reveal that integrating digital technologies, such as artificial intelligence, IoT, and blockchain, significantly enhances innovation capacity by accelerating product development cycles, improving decision-making precision, and fostering collaborative innovation ecosystems. Moreover, digitalization optimizes resource utilization, minimizes environmental impact, and strengthens stakeholder engagement, contributing to measurable economic, environmental, and social sustainability outcomes. The synergy between digital transformation and sustainability initiatives provides organizations with strategic advantages, including improved operational efficiency, customer loyalty, and competitive positioning. However, challenges such as implementation barriers, balancing digital-sustainable priorities, and managing unintended environmental impacts persist. Future research should focus on empirical validation, industry-specific applications, and longitudinal studies to further elucidate the pathways through which digitalization supports sustainable innovation and long-term business resilience. This study underscores the imperative for organizations to strategically align digital transformation with sustainability objectives, ensuring their future success in a rapidly evolving business environment.

MSMEs are micro, small and medium business units owned by individuals with simple assets and technology. MSMEs are the largest sector that provides benefits to Indonesia. MSMEs have improved the Indonesian economy by acting as one of the absorbers of labor, contributing to exports and trade. This study aims to measure the impact of the use of social media, product innovation on increasing the income of Seblak MSMEs in Bojonegoro Regency. Data collection uses a quantitative approach. Sampling uses the Simple random sampling technique. Data collection in this study used questionnaires distributed to seblak MSME actors in Bojonegoro Regency. The results of the study showed that social media did not affect the increase in income of Seblak MSMEs in Bojonegoro Regency. Product innovation has an effect on increasing the income of Seblak MSMEs in Bojonegoro Regency.

Structural transformation is an important process in the economic development of a country. In Indonesia, the plan to move the National Capital City (IKN) from Jakarta to Nusantara in East Kalimantan is one of the strategic steps in accelerating structural transformationThe methodology used in this study is a qualitative and quantitative approach. The results of the study show that the acceleration of structural transformation through the development of IKN has a significant impact on the formation of a new economic base and increasing Indonesia's competitiveness. The formation of a new economic base in IKN can be seen from the emergence of technology and innovation-based industrial clusters. The impact on national competitiveness can be seen from the increase in productivity and innovation capacityThe analysis of the acceleration of structural transformation through the development of the IKN shows a fundamental change in Indonesia's economic base. The development of IKN as a smart forest city accelerates structural transformation through three main mechanisms. The impact on the formation of a new economic base can be seen from the shift in the economic structure in the IKN area and its surroundings. Structural transformation is also reflected in changes in the composition of the workforce and investment patterns. The impact analysis on Indonesia's competitiveness shows a significant increase in several dimensions

This study examines the impact of green talent management practices on HR performance quality in eco-friendly hotels in Central Java, Indonesia, using a phenomenological approach. Through in-depth interviews with 24 participants across six star-rated hotels, direct observation, document analysis, and focus group discussions, the research explores how green HRM practices influence employee performance and career development opportunities for young talent. The findings reveal that eco-friendly hotels have implemented various green talent management practices including environmentally-conscious recruitment, sustainability training, green performance management, and employee involvement in environmental initiatives. These practices positively impact multiple dimensions of employee performance: task performance through improved resource efficiency; contextual performance through enhanced teamwork; adaptive performance through increased innovation capability; and environmental performance through strengthened pro-environmental behaviors. The effectiveness of these practices is influenced by top management commitment, integration with business strategy, training quality, organizational culture, and resource availability. Young employees perceive involvement in green initiatives as valuable for developing leadership skills, expanding professional networks, and enhancing market competitiveness, although they identify the need for clearer sustainability-focused career paths. The study contributes to GHRM and talent management literature by explicating the mechanisms linking green talent management with performance outcomes in the hospitality industry context, while providing practical implications for hotel managers seeking to enhance both environmental sustainability and human resource performance. The research underscores the importance of a holistic approach to green talent management that aligns environmental priorities with employee development and organizational strategy.

This research  aims to analyze the application of the McKinsey 7S framework in achieving sustainable performance management at Fresh Bright Pool, Tanjungpinang, amid the increasingly competitive local entertainment industry. The study explores the seven core elements of McKinsey 7S—strategy, structure, systems, shared values, skills, leadership style, and staff—to understand the dynamics of performance management and innovation in the service sector. A qualitative approach was employed, collecting data through in-depth interviews with two staff members and several visitors, supported by document analysis to ensure data validity. The results show that the elements of strategy and shared values are the primary strengths of Fresh Bright Pool in creating superior customer experiences, such as through the improvement of billiard facilities, optimization of bar services, and implementation of a more structured reservation system. The shared value of "comfort and togetherness" has successfully built a friendly and inclusive work culture. Collaborative leadership styles enhance staff engagement in operational processes, while the skills and staff elements still face challenges, including limited technical training and capacity development in customer service. This study provides valuable insights for Fresh Bright Pool to continue strengthening these elements to improve efficiency, maintain competitive advantage, and achieve operational sustainability in the local entertainment industry.

This research aims to examine the effect of synergy between the application of digital technology and entrepreneurial orientation on the performance of coffee shop MSMEs in Bojonegoro. The results of the analysis show that the combination of these two variables significantly improves business performance, exceeding the individual impact of each variable. These findings underline the importance of a holistic approach in developing MSMEs in the digital era, which combines technological innovation with. entrepreneurial spirit. The use of technology such as online ordering applications, inventory systems and data analysis allows MSME coffee shops to operate more efficiently, saving time and costs, as well as reducing errors. To be able to excel in business competition in the culinary industry, MSME managers need to carry out good sustainable innovation. The aim of this research is to assist and improve the rodokar business. Research methods that can help business actors in  designing a strategic plan is to use the Business Model Canvas. Data collection to carry out analysis on the Business Model Canvas was carried out by observation and interviews manager. Digitalization support activities marketing will be carried out in three stages: education, mentoring, and sustainability assessment. Training will given to increase partners' knowledge and understanding of various digital marketing platforms. The results of this activity are expected to expand partners' knowledge and understanding in the field of digitalization marketing. Mentoring activities are carried out to ensure partners are able to apply technology and training provided. In the end, the outcome that the partners want to achieve as business actors is an increase in partner economies of scale.

Islamic insurance is one of the Islamic financial instruments designed to provide financial protection based on sharia principles, such as mutual help (ta'awun) and risk-sharing. As a country with the largest Muslim population in the world, Indonesia has great potential to develop this industry. Over the past five years (2018-2022), the sharia insurance industry in Indonesia has shown consistent growth, reflected in an increase in gross contribution from IDR 12 trillion in 2018 to IDR 16 trillion in 2022. However, the market share of Islamic insurance remains small compared to conventional insurance, with key challenges including limited market scale, lack of product innovation, low public literacy in Islamic finance, and intense competition with conventional products. This article aims to analyze these challenges and formulate development strategies that can be implemented to strengthen the competitiveness of Islamic insurance in the global market. This research uses a qualitative approach based on secondary data analysis obtained from industry reports, scientific journals, and official publications. The results show that the main strategies for development include product innovation oriented to the needs of the global community, digitization of services to improve efficiency and accessibility, public education to increase Islamic financial literacy, strengthening regulations to create a conducive business environment, and strategic collaboration with international financial institutions to expand market networks.

The rapid advancement of digital technology has unlocked new opportunities in marketing, especially through social media platforms like TikTok. This study explores the synergy between viral marketing, gimmick marketing, and influencer marketing in driving the transformation of customer behavior from passive consumers to active participants within the digital marketing ecosystem. A quantitative approach was employed, collecting data from 200 respondents actively involved in digital marketing on TikTok as resellers, dropshippers, affiliates, and co-creators. Using the Partial Least Squares method for analysis, the findings reveal that viral marketing significantly influences the transformation of customer behavior. Similarly, gimmick marketing demonstrates a direct and significant impact on this transformation. Moreover, influencer marketing serves as a mediator, amplifying the effects of both viral and gimmick marketing on transformation of customer behavior. This behavioral shift is evident in the transition of consumers from passive roles to active contributors, taking on positions such as resellers, dropshippers, affiliates, and co-creators. At the same time, sellers are evolving from traditional marketing practices to utilizing e-commerce, social media, and live streaming to reach wider audiences. By actively engaging consumers, sellers foster a collaborative ecosystem where consumers play a pivotal role in expanding the marketing framework. To sustain long-term consumer engagement in this digital marketing ecosystem, it is essential to prioritize the selection of credible and relevant influencers while providing continuous education and support for resellers, dropshippers, and affiliates. This research strengthens the theory of planned behavior and the diffusion of innovations theory, offering fresh insights into designing marketing campaigns based on the 4Ps of digital marketing (Platform, Page, Program, and Posting) to address the needs of the digital era.

The implementation of Islamic economics in Indonesia's development administration during the digital era presents a significant opportunity to build a system founded on inclusivity, fairness, and sustainability. Digital transformation plays a pivotal role in optimizing sharia-based financial technologies, empowering community economies, and enhancing resource management efficiency. Technologies such as halal e-commerce, blockchain, and sharia-compliant financial applications extend access to financial services in previously underserved remote areas. However, challenges such as low digital literacy levels and insufficient regulatory frameworks remain obstacles. Collaboration among the government, Islamic financial institutions, businesses, and communities is essential to ensure the effective implementation of this system. By combining sharia principles with technological innovations, Islamic economics holds substantial potential to boost Indonesia's economic competitiveness on a global scale.
