This study examines the ef ectiveness of the Provincial Minimum Wage (UMP) and Regency/City Minimum Wage (UMR) policies in alleviating poverty in Indonesia, using an in-depth literature study approach. Indonesia, as the fourth most populous country in the world and the largest economy in Southeast Asia, faces major challenges in reducing income inequality and poverty, especially after the economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. The UMP and UMR policies are designed to provide a decent standard of living for workers, but their impacts vary widely across provinces and economic sectors. This study finds that while the minimum wage policy can provide benefits for formal sector workers, its ef ectiveness in reducing poverty in the informal sector is limited, given that around 60% of Indonesia's workforce works in the informal sector that is not covered by this policy. In addition, this policy also has the potential to cause economic dislocation in areas with significant income inequality. Economic sectors that rely on cheap labor, such as manufacturing and agriculture, are vulnerable to the negative impacts of this policy. This study suggests adjusting the minimum wage policy to be more flexible and based on local economic conditions to maximize the impact of poverty alleviation.

This study evaluates the investment feasibility of UD Al-Mustofa, a tobacco business in Kendal, by considering aspects of production, storage capacity, waste management, and market expansion opportunities. UD Al-Mustofa is strategically located, ensuring high mobility, optimal production scale, and an effective waste management system, which includes recycling solid waste into organic fertilizer, processing liquid waste, and mitigating gas emissions by conducting tobacco drying in areas far from residential zones. Although the business has not yet obtained certification for international markets, financial analysis indicates that investment in this venture is viable. The calculations show a payback period of 2.01 years, significantly shorter than the projected 10-year investment lifespan. The Net Present Value (NPV) reaches IDR 489,345,567, indicating positive returns, with a profitability index of 0.854. The Internal Rate of Return (IRR) of 46% significantly exceeds Bank Indonesia’s interest rate of 5.75% in 2024, while the Average Rate of Return (ARR) of 78.8% is higher than the cost of capital. Based on these findings, UD Al-Mustofa has strong potential for further development, both in terms of production and market expansion..

This study aims to analyze the effect of return on asset (ROA), current ratio (CR), and company size on the value of companies in the metal and similar industrial sub-sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2021-2022 period. The research was motivated by the need to understand how financial indicators and company characteristics influence the overall market value of companies in this particular industry. The hypothesis of the study was formulated based on theoretical frameworks and previous empirical research findings. To conduct this study, a purposive sampling method was employed, which involved selecting companies based on certain predetermined criteria. A total of 58 companies from the metal and related sectors were included in the sample. Data for the study was gathered from annual financial reports and analyzed using multiple linear regression techniques to test the proposed hypotheses. The results indicate that company size does not have a significant effect on the company value, suggesting that factors such as financial performance may be more crucial in determining value than the size of the company itself. However, the study found that both return on assets (ROA) and current ratio (CR) have a significant positive impact on company value. These findings emphasize the importance of efficient asset management and liquidity in increasing a company’s market value. This study contributes to a deeper understanding of the financial factors that influence the value of companies in the metal and industrial sectors and provides insights for investors and management.

They realize the importance of the understanding of Sharia Economics that they obtain to convey to society. However, it is a challenge for students because there are still many students who are not yet literate or aware of the presence of Sharia Banking. Social life and the environment are one of the factors that they consider that they don't really need banking services. Even though times have changed digitally. However, this is the reality that is happening today in the regional environment and is an effort for educators, practitioners and Sharia Banking itself to more aggressively build the interest of the academic community and academics in Sharia Banking.

The term cooperative is certainly familiar to us. If referring to Law No. 17 of 2012 article 1, a cooperative is defined as a legal entity established by an individual or a cooperative legal entity, with the separation of the wealth of its members as capital to run a business, which meets common aspirations and needs. In its implementation, cooperatives not only have goals, principles or principles, but also a foundation. As a unique business entity, cooperatives are different from other business entities. In this case, it can be seen from its membership, where cooperative members are known to have dual identities. Dual identity here means that cooperative members are owners and also users of cooperative services. Indonesian cooperatives are the identity of Indonesian business entities that are established on various foundations. The foundation of this cooperative includes ideal, constitutional, mental and operational foundations.

Stock returns are one of the indicators in investor investment decision making. Factors that influence stock returns are internal (fundamental) factors, namely ROA, DPR and EPS. The purpose of this study was to determine: the effect of Return On Asset (ROA) on Stock Returns, the effect of Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR) on Stock Returns, and the effect of Earnings Per Share (EPS) on Stock Returns in Industrial Sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2020-2022. The data analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis. Findings: Return On Asset (ROA) has a positive and significant effect on Stock Returns, Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR) does not affect Stock Returns, and Earnings Per Share (EPS) does not affect Stock Returns. The implication of this study for investors is that they can use ROA as the main indicator in analyzing potential opportunities to gain profit from capital gains from stock returns before making investment decisions. The implication for management is to focus on strategies to optimize the use of assets to generate greater profits. Meanwhile, the implications for regulators and policy makers are to encourage transparency in financial reports and the preparation of capital market literacy programs.

In the era of globalization, companies face intense competition alongside the implementation of PSAK 22 (revised 2010) in Indonesia, particularly in the merger between PT Bentoel Internasional Investama, Tbk. and PT BAT Indonesia, Tbk. in 2010. Utilizing the purchase method according to PSAK 22, this research applies a qualitative approach with content analysis to compare the practices of business combination accounting before and after the adoption of IFRS. The research focuses on how well PT Bentoel Internasional Investama Tbk. adheres to accounting standards, especially PSAK 22 after IFRS adoption. The adoption of PSAK 22 and IFRS enhances transparency, limits potential earnings management, and improves the quality of financial reporting. The prospects of Islamic banking in Indonesia, when viewed from the real sector, are quite positive. Because, the operationalization of Islamic education does not matter! interest, and the income comes from the retum for the harvest! for projects financed or margin financing the sale and purchase of goods. In this way, it can be ascertained, that theoretically Islamic banking is very interested in encouraging the progress of the nile sector. The most important thing for Islamic banking is that no matter how advanced and developed it is, it will never leave the real sector, because it is from this sector that banking activities emerge. Unlike the conventional banking system, the monetary sector has grown far away from the real sector of Inl. This is because, with interest, money has shifted from just a medium of exchange to a commodity.

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the fulfillment of socio-economic rights of the community in Rote Ndao Regency, as one of the underdeveloped regions in Indonesia, and to identify the obstacles faced by the local government in its efforts to fulfill them. Socio-economic rights, such as access to education, health, employment, and public services, are part of the human rights guaranteed by the constitution. However, their implementation often encounters various obstacles in areas with less developed socio-economic conditions. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive analytical approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, document studies, and field observations. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of socio-economic rights in Rote Ndao Regency is still not optimal. This can be seen from the low level of community access to educational facilities, health services, and basic infrastructure. On the other hand, the local government faces a number of significant obstacles, such as budget constraints, lack of adequate infrastructure, low quality of human resources, geographical barriers, and weak coordination between agencies. As a solution, this study recommends increasing budget allocations for priority sectors, developing basic infrastructure, improving the quality of human resources through education and training, and strengthening cross-sectoral coordination. In addition, active community involvement in the planning and implementation of development programs is also very important to improve the effectiveness of policies. The results of this study are expected to contribute to local governments and other stakeholders in formulating more effective strategies to accelerate the fulfillment of people's socio-economic rights, while improving the quality of life in Rote Ndao Regency.

Activities that have tasks and functions according to their provisions require fixed assets, which are an important component in supporting their operations. Indonesia uses Government Accounting Standard Statement (PSAP) Number 07 on fixed asset accounting as the asset treatment system. Every government agency that reports on its accounting treatment, including recognition, valuation, presentation, and disclosure, must use this standard statement. In addition, as a task support unit for the Tarakan City Tourism Office, the Tourism Office also provides financial reports. The purpose of this study is to determine whether this office has presented financial statements in accordance with PSAP No. 07. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the asset components of PSAP No. 07, namely asset classification, recognition, measurement, valuation, expenditure, depreciation, termination and disposal, and disclosure have met the principles of PSAP No. 07 on fixed asset accounting.
