Public health is a crucial aspect of improving well-being, particularly at the village level. However, in Srigading Village, Lawang District, Malang Regency, access to information related to health services remains a significant challenge, resulting in suboptimal utilization of Posyandu and Puskesmas services. To address this issue, a web application called “Srigading Sehat” has been developed as a digital platform providing health service information through interactive maps and service schedules. This community service activity employs the IDEA approach (Identify Objective, Design Action Steps, Engage Our Plan, Assess and Follow Up) as a systematic framework. The Identify Objective stage identified limitations in health information access; Design Action Steps designed a participatory learning-based application development model; Engage Our Plan implemented application development, socialization, and training for 25 participants comprising village officials, posyandu cadres, and the general community; and Assess and Follow Up evaluated achievements through Firebase Analytics monitoring. Results showed increased health information access marked by 500 health information page visits within the first 30 days of launch, with total Firebase reads reaching 631 (+1,026.8%). Four village health facilities are actively registered and using the application to independently update their service information. This application is anticipated to serve as an appropriate technological innovation contributing to the enhancement of health services at the village level.

Low Birth Weight (LBW) is one of the leading causes of neonatal mortality and contributes to an increased risk of growth and developmental disorders in later life. Maternal nutritional status during pregnancy and the utilization of antenatal health services are important factors influencing fetal growth and development. Pregnant women with poor nutritional status are at higher risk of delivering low birth weight infants due to insufficient intake of essential nutrients required during pregnancy. In addition, inadequate utilization of antenatal care services may result in delayed detection and management of pregnancy-related complications. This study aimed to determine the relationship between maternal nutritional status and the utilization of health services with the incidence of LBW. The research employed an observational analytic design with a cross-sectional approach. The study population consisted of all women who delivered in the working area of Puskesmas X in 2026. A total of 80 respondents were selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected from maternal and child health (MCH) books and medical records and analyzed using the Chi-square test. The results showed a significant relationship between maternal nutritional status and the incidence of LBW (p=0.002), as well as between the utilization of health services and the incidence of LBW (p=0.004). It can be concluded that maternal nutritional status and compliance with antenatal visits are significantly associated with LBW, highlighting the need to improve nutritional monitoring and the quality of antenatal care services.

Preeclampsia is a pregnancy complication that contributes significantly to maternal and perinatal morbidity and mortality, especially in developing countries. Despite various preventive measures, preeclampsia is still frequently found at the primary health care level. This study aims to analyze the factors influencing the incidence of preeclampsia in pregnant women at the Tiley Care Community Health Center. This study used an observational analytical design with a cross-sectional approach. The study population was all pregnant women who visited antenatal care at the Tiley Care Community Health Center, with a sample of 60 respondents selected using a total sampling technique. Data were collected through a review of medical records and KIA books, then analyzed univariately and bivariately using the Chi-Square test with a significance level of α = 0.05. The results showed that maternal age, history of hypertension, nutritional status based on body mass index, and adherence to antenatal care visits had a statistically significant relationship with the incidence of preeclampsia. Meanwhile, parity did not show a significant relationship with the incidence of preeclampsia. This study concluded that the incidence of preeclampsia is influenced by various maternal factors and maternal health behaviors during pregnancy. These findings underscore the importance of implementing risk-based antenatal care through early screening, ongoing monitoring, and increased adherence to antenatal care visits as a preventative measure for preeclampsia at the primary healthcare level.

This study aims to analyze the influence of the use of gadgets on the reading interest of students at SMAN 1 Tolitoli. The background of this research departs from the phenomenon of declining students' interest in reading in the digital era, where students spend more time using gadgets for entertainment such as social media, online games, and watching videos than reading books or lesson literature. The low number of visits to school libraries, which only increased before the exam, is a major indicator of the weakening of the literacy culture among students. This study uses a quantitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, questionnaires, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out by normality test, t-test, and determination coefficient (R²) to determine the magnitude of the influence of gadgets on reading interest. The results of the study show that there is a significant influence between the use of gadgets on students' reading interest. The tcalculated value of 4,028 > ttable 1,655 indicates that H₀ is rejected and Hₐ is accepted. The use of gadgets contributed 9.8% to the reading interest of students at SMAN 1 Tolitoli, while the rest was influenced by other factors such as family environment, learning motivation, and support for literacy facilities at school.

Nutritional problems among adolescent girls remain relatively high and can affect reproductive health, particularly before entering marriage. One of the factors suspected to be associated with nutritional status is the frequency of visits to adolescent health posts (Posyandu Remaja). This study aimed to determine the relationship between the frequency of visits to adolescent health posts and the nutritional status of adolescent girls in the working area of Dinoyo Public Health Center. The research design employed was correlational analytic with a cross-sectional approach. The sample consisted of 80 adolescent girls registered at adolescent health posts in the Dinoyo Public Health Center area, selected using total sampling technique. Data were collected using observation sheets and analyzed using the Spearman rank correlation test. The results showed that there was no significant relationship between the frequency of visits to adolescent health posts and the nutritional status of adolescent girls (r = -0.083, p = 0.462). It can be concluded that an increased frequency of visits to adolescent health posts does not directly correlate with improvements in the nutritional status of adolescent girls in the Dinoyo Public Health Center area.

Kampung Jawi, a cultural tourism destination in Semarang City, has experienced a significant decline in tourist visits due to stagnant digital promotion activities. The main problem lies in the absence of an integrative and empirically tested model that combines technology, community empowerment, and cultural reinforcement for Indonesian cultural tourism villages. This study aims to address this gap by formulating and testing the participatory SOME+ model, a modification of the original SOME framework (Share, Optimize, Manage, Engage) with the addition of TRAIN (capacity building) and SUSTAIN (sustainability). Using a mixed-methods exploratory sequential design (QUAL → quan), data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, focus group discussions (FGDs), and social media content analysis. The findings highlight initial challenges such as low digital literacy and fragmented coordination. Nevertheless, a two-week pilot project increased social media engagement rates from 2.8% to 4.3% (a 52% rise) and enhanced community participation in content production from 25% to 41% (a 64% rise). The synthesis of these findings indicates that the SOME+ model effectively revitalizes the digital branding of cultural tourism villages. This research concludes that the participatory SOME+ model is a practical and replicable framework for strengthening community-based digital promotion and is recommended for adoption in rural tourism development policies.

Wonogiri Regency in Central Java Province has great potential for sustainable tourism development, particularly through the integration of nature and religious tourism. This study aims to analyze the development strategy of the Watu Cenik Tomb in Sendang Village as a pilgrimage destination, which involves the historical value of the tomb of the Kyai Solo Sumarto IX family, the natural landscape of the Gajah Mungkur Reservoir, and cultural traditions such as Grebeg Syawalan. Using Richard Butler's Sustainable Tourism theory with the Tourism Area Life Cycle (TALC) model, this study applies a descriptive qualitative method through intensive interviews, observations, and documentation of stakeholders such as tourism managers, local communities, and tourists. The results of the study show that Watu Cenik has the potential to be an attractive pilgrimage destination, but its appeal is not yet optimal, with visits limited to private pilgrimages and the local community. The efforts of BUMDes Sendang Pinilih, such as the construction of homestays, shuttle services, and social media promotion, have increased visitor numbers, but additional facilities such as souvenir kiosks, local culinary offerings, photo spots, tour guides, and infrastructure improvements are still needed to attract more visitors and support the creative economy. The research conclusion emphasizes the importance of intensive digital promotion, integrated tour packages, and stakeholder collaboration to realize sustainable tourism that preserves cultural heritage while improving community welfare. Suggestions for further research include integrating mixed methods with quantitative analysis to measure economic impact and comparisons with similar destinations.

Type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) is a chronic metabolic disorder whose prevalence continues to rise, making it a major challenge for health systems worldwide. This disease results from a combination of insulin resistance and impaired pancreatic β-cell function, leading to persistent hyperglycemia and increased risk of long-term complications affecting the kidneys, cardiovascular system, nervous system, and eyes. This report describes the case of a 52-year-old woman diagnosed with T2DM for approximately ten years. The patient presented with fatigue, nocturnal polyuria, nausea after meals, significant weight loss, and tingling in her extremities. Laboratory findings revealed an HbA1c level of 12%, reflecting very poor glycemic control. A family medicine approach was applied through detailed history taking, physical and laboratory examinations, home visits, and completion of a family folder to assess clinical, personal, social, and functional aspects. Interventions included counseling on balanced diet, encouragement of regular physical activity, education on diabetic foot care, and pharmacological treatment with metformin and insulin. The family received counseling about hereditary risk factors, the importance of emotional support, and the need for consistent monitoring of health status. The patient was still capable of light daily activities, supported by a highly functional family environment with an APGAR score of 10. A holistic family medicine–based approach was shown to improve treatment adherence, patient knowledge, and overall quality of life. Therefore, management of T2DM requires a comprehensive strategy that integrates promotive, preventive, curative, and rehabilitative components, emphasizing the active involvement of family and community at the primary care level to reduce complications, slow disease progression, and enhance patient well-being.   Keywords: Type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) is a chronic metabolic disorder whose prevalence continues to rise, making it a major challenge for health systems worldwide. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of attractants on the activity of the pollinating beetle Elaeidobius kamerunicus and its impact on the efficiency of pollination and palm oil (Elaeis guineensis) production at PT Menthobi Makmur Lestari, Lamandau Regency, Central Kalimantan. The study was conducted from May to July 2025 using a factorial randomized block design with two factors: topography (flat 0–8% and hilly 15–25%) and attractant doses (0, 1, 2, and 3 ml/ha) with three replications. The parameters observed included the frequency of E. kamerunicus visits to female flowers and the percentage of fruit set. The results showed that the topography factor, attractant dose, and their interaction significantly affected the number of E. kamerunicus visits and fruit set (p < 0.01). The combination of flat land with high attractant doses resulted in the highest visits (69.04 beetles/spike) and maximum fruit set (75.11%), while the hilly land without attractants showed the lowest results (34.60 beetles/spike; 61.22%). The application of attractants increased fruit set by more than 20% compared to the control, leading to an increase in bunch weight (BJR) of approximately 5.67 kg/bunch, additional production of about 1,151 kg FFB/ha per 1.5 months, and a potential income of Rp 3,683,200/ha, far exceeding the application cost of Rp 211,638/ha. These results indicate that the use of attractants is an effective and efficient agronomic strategy to improve palm oil productivity. Thus, attractants have proven to significantly enhance pollination efficiency and palm oil production, providing substantial economic benefits to farmers and supporting the sustainability of palm oil plantations. This approach offers an applicable and sustainable solution for agricultural practices, which can be applied to various locations with similar topographical conditions.

Successful development encompasses various aspects of community life and cannot be separated from progress in the health sector. Health is one of the key indicators in determining the quality of life of a population. Therefore, attention to health—especially for vulnerable groups such as the elderly—is of great importance. Regular health check-ups serve as a preventive measure to help the community detect illnesses early and encourage individuals to take an active role in maintaining their own health. Several types of examinations are commonly provided free of charge during community service activities, including blood pressure checks, random blood glucose tests, uric acid level tests, and cholesterol level screenings. These health checks are especially beneficial for the elderly, as they help monitor overall health conditions and enable early management of diseases to prevent further complications. In this activity, a total of 40 elderly individuals voluntarily participated in the health screening. The methods used included health education sessions and direct examinations of blood pressure, uric acid levels, and random blood glucose levels. The counseling was delivered using simple and clear language, and it included a question-and-answer session to help participants better understand the information provided. The results of the examinations showed that some of the elderly participants had high blood pressure and elevated blood glucose levels, which led to recommendations for follow-up visits to nearby healthcare facilities. Through this health screening initiative, the overall health quality of the elderly participants improved, and their awareness of the importance of early detection increased. This activity is expected to motivate the broader community to pay more attention to their health and to undergo regular health check-ups. By taking a proactive role in managing their well-being, individuals can reduce the risk of serious complications in the future and contribute to the creation of a healthier society overall.

Tourism is an important sector for the economy, where Sam Ratulangi International Airport Manado acts as the main connectivity hub connecting domestic and international tourists. In 2024, the number of foreign tourist visits through this airport was recorded at 45,884 people, a decrease of 49.3% compared to the previous year according to BPS data, while domestic tourist visits actually increased significantly to 743,948 people. This phenomenon shows the great potential for tourism in Manado, but also challenges related to fluctuations in the number of tourists, especially from abroad. This study aims to determine the effect of flight ticket prices on tourist interest in using air transportation services in Manado, North Sulawesi in using air transportation services, and to measure how much influence flight ticket prices have on the interest of tourists in Manado, North Sulawesi in using air transportation services. This study uses a quantitative correlational method involving 100 tourist respondents visiting Manado. The sampling technique uses probability sampling with simple random sampling technique. Data analysis is carried out using. validity test, reliability test, normality test, linearity test, simple linear regression, T test and coefficient of determination (R2). Data processing through the SPSS version 22.0 application. The results of the study from the statistical test results showed a T count value of 4.945 which is greater than the t table of 1.660, and a significance value of 0.000 which is smaller than the probability of 0.1. It is known that the correlation or relationship value (R) is 0.447 and the coefficient of determination value is 0.200, which means that the influence of the flight ticket price variable on tourist interest is 20.0%. Meanwhile, the remaining 80.0% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study, such as promotion, facilities, or destination appeal. Thus the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted and the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected, which means that there is a significant influence between flight ticket prices and tourist interest.

Anemia during pregnancy remains a significant global health issue, particularly in low- and middle-income countries. Iron (Fe) tablets are the standard treatment, but alternative natural supplements such as pure honey may enhance hemoglobin levels through their nutritional and antioxidant properties. This study aims to  analyze the effectiveness of pure honey combined with Fe tablets on hemoglobin levels among pregnant women with anemia at TPMB Choirul Mala, Palembang. This quasi-experimental study employed a pretest-posttest control group design. A total of 30 pregnant women with anemia were selected through purposive sampling from a population of 66 who attended ANC visits between September and December 2024. Participants were divided equally into intervention and control groups. The intervention group received 2 tablespoons of certified pure honey and one 60 mg Fe tablet daily for 4 weeks, while the control group received only the Fe tablet. Hemoglobin levels were measured before and after the intervention. Data were analyzed using the Wilcoxon and Mann–Whitney tests. The intervention group showed a significant increase in mean hemoglobin level from 9.2 g/dL to 10.8 g/dL (p = 0.002), while the control group increased from 9.0 g/dL to 10.4 g/dL (p = 0.004). The difference in hemoglobin increase between groups was statistically significant (p = 0.041). The combination of pure honey and Fe tablets is more effective in increasing hemoglobin levels than Fe tablets alone. Pure honey may serve as a beneficial complementary therapy in managing anemia during pregnancy.

This study aims to analyze public service accountability at the Namlea Subdistrict Office, Buru Regency. The research method used is qualitative, with an in-depth interview approach to gather information regarding the ongoing service processes at the subdistrict office. The research findings indicate that although some aspects of public service at the Namlea Subdistrict Office are running well, there are still areas that require improvement. The reporting process is relatively transparent, but it is hindered by a limited number of staff, which affects the timeliness of report resolutions. Information retrieval also relies heavily on direct visits to the office, suggesting the need for the implementation of information technology to make public access easier and more efficient. Service performance evaluations are conducted regularly, but they are constrained by staff capacity, which is insufficient to handle the volume of reports. Staff control and guidance are carried out routinely, but some members of the public seek increased transparency in this process. Overall, despite several challenges such as limited human resources and facilities, the Namlea Subdistrict Office has shown commitment to improving service quality. However, to enhance accountability, improvements are needed in transparency, information access, as well as strengthening staff capacity and the use of more advanced technology.
