This community service initiative aims to enhance the knowledge and skills of the residents of Ilih Village, Damer District, Southwest Maluku Regency, regarding the use of banana corms as a nutritious and cost-effective alternative food source. Banana corms have historically been underutilized and generally treated merely as agricultural waste. Through training and mentoring sessions, the community was educated on the nutritional content of banana corms, processing techniques, and business opportunities for home-based banana corm nugget production. The methods employed included outreach, demonstrations, hands-on nugget-making training, and an evaluation of the activity's outcomes. The results indicate a high level of community enthusiasm for the innovation of processing banana corms into nuggets. Following the activity, participants demonstrated increased knowledge regarding the utilization of local food ingredients, hygienic processing techniques, and the economic potential of the processed product. The banana corm nuggets offered a pleasant taste and appealing texture, and were well-received by the community. Furthermore, the product's low production cost suggests it could serve as a source of additional income for villagers. This initiative is expected to support local food security and improve community welfare through the development of food businesses based on local resources.

This community service activity aims to improve the knowledge and skills of the community, particularly women in the Family Welfare Movement (PKK), in sweet corn cultivation as an effort to optimize the use of yard land and strengthen household food security. The activity was conducted in Tanah Merah Village, Siak Hulu District, Kampar Regency, using a participatory approach. The methods used included outreach, technical cultivation training, interactive discussions, and ongoing mentoring. The material provided covered selecting superior seeds, planting techniques, fertilization, pest and disease control, and harvesting and post-harvest stages. The results of the activity demonstrated an increase in participants' understanding and skills in applying proper sweet corn cultivation techniques. Furthermore, there was a shift in community attitudes, leading to greater awareness of the importance of productive and sustainable yard land use. This activity also encouraged the emergence of small-scale, home-based agricultural initiatives with the potential to increase family income. Thus, this program not only contributes to community capacity building but also supports food independence and sustainable economic well-being at the local level.

The increase in the number of elderly residents demands the provision of residential facilities that not only meet physical needs, but also support the psychological and social well-being of their users. This study aims to formulate the concept of behavioral architecture-based nursing home design by focusing on the relationship between elderly activity patterns, privacy levels, and spatial relationships of space in the local context of Indonesia. This study uses a qualitative-descriptive approach in the framework of architectural design, with data collection through observation of elderly activities, site analysis, and documentation studies. Activity data was analyzed to identify space needs and usage patterns, then synthesized with site characteristics to formulate the concepts of zoning, circulation, and behavior-based spatial relationships. The results of the study show that the activities of the elderly form a layered behavioral structure, including residential and health activities as primary needs as well as social, productive, and educational activities as support for psychosocial welfare. Hierarchically arranged space zoning based on privacy levels has been proven to improve the readability of the space, sense of security, and comfort of the elderly. The integration of green open spaces as part of the activity system also strengthens support for light physical activity and social interaction. This study confirms that the application of behavioral architecture allows the translation of data on elderly behavior and site conditions into a contextual, humanist, and quality-of-life-oriented design concept. These findings provide practical implications for designers and policymakers in the development of sustainable elderly housing.

This study aims to analyze the factors influencing people's decisions to use a Home Ownership Credit (KPR) with a murabahah contract at a sharia bank in Tebing Tinggi City. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection techniques through observation, in depth interviews, and documentation of people who have used the murabahah KPR product. Informants were selected purposively to obtain relevant and in depth data. The results show that people's decisions are influenced by several main factors, including compliance with sharia principles, price transparency, certainty of fixed installments, ease of financing processes, promotions conducted by the bank, housing location, and the brand image of the sharia bank. The murabahah contract is considered to provide clarity of profit margins from the start and stability of installment payments throughout the financing period, thereby increasing public security and trust. These findings indicate that consistent application of sharia principles and appropriate marketing strategies play a significant role in increasing public interest in sharia housing financing products.

Traditional food is a national asset. It not only serves as a source of energy for the community, but also serves as a form of food security, an economic driver, a source of healthy food, and a culture steeped in noble values. The widespread consumption of unhealthy foods by students, especially elementary school students, is one of the reasons for this outreach activity. The health issues surrounding junk food must be addressed by offering healthy alternatives, such as traditional foods. Traditional food is not only related to food, but can also be linked to ethnomathematics, where culture in the form of food is studied from a mathematical perspective. Elementary school students not only consume traditional foods but also interpret these foods in mathematical contexts, such as geometry and numbers. In this way, students will be able to visualize mathematical elements not only when reading math textbooks but also when consuming traditional foods that are part of their daily environment. Despite their traditional nature, students actually enjoy some traditional foods. This is a frequent conflict between the current generation and traditional culture. They better understand how to prepare traditional foods, appreciate the richness of local culture, and develop a love for their culture and homeland.

The utilization of home yard as an alternative food source by using innovation has not been well applied in Melandar Meiland village. Household food security is usually not managed planned. To achieve sustainable use of the yard, this devotion aims to implement the Deep Flow Technique (DFT) hydroponic system. Moreover, the method used in this activity is participation through the observation of initial conditions, socialization and education through extension and discussion, the application of hydroponic installation, and planting maintenance of plants. The results of the activity show that people better understand the benefits of yard and the ability to run the DFT hydroponic system independently. Thus, the application of this system encourages changes in the views and habits of society about the yard as a productive place to support household food security. 

This community service program was carried out in Karangharja Village with the aim of strengthening environmental awareness, promoting tree-planting initiatives, and establishing the foundation for household-level food security. The program employed the Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) approach through the stages of discovery, dream, design, define, and destiny, ensuring that all activities were rooted in local potential and community participation. The results indicate an increase in residents’ involvement in reforestation, productive home-garden utilization, and stronger collaboration between village authorities, farmer groups, Islamic educational institutions, and local community organizations. Furthermore, the community began forming self-help groups to ensure sustainability, while Islamic-value-based environmental education successfully encouraged behavioral changes and early ecological awareness among children. These findings confirm that the ABCD approach is effective in enhancing community-based food security and environmental awareness.

This study aims to optimize agricultural and livestock yields in Pujon District, Malang, the largest dairy production center, facing the dilemma of commodity price fluctuations and limited product diversification. The method implemented was the Participatory Local Social Development (PLSD) approach, focusing on holistic intervention (research, design, implementation, and evaluation). The research subject was the owner of Geofarm, Feri Fahrian Maulana. The program aimed to transform the dairy and vegetable processed product, Milk Stick (STISU), from a home industry scale into a competitive business unit. Program results demonstrate significant strengthening of the pre-digitalization foundation, including successful product R&D, HPP/BEP formulation, acceleration of legal compliance (NIB and Halal Certification), and the establishment of digital assets and informative packaging. Strategically, the evaluation prompted the consolidation of the STISU brand as a sub-brand under the master brand "Geofarm", proving the effectiveness of PLSD in building young entrepreneurial capacity for community-based food security and market readiness in the digital era.

The family is the primary and primary environment that plays a crucial role in shaping a child's personality, emotional development, and psychological stability. Through the family, children receive love, a sense of security, and values ​​that form the basis for developing their identity. However, broken homes can disrupt a child's emotional balance and lead to childhood trauma that impacts them into adolescence. This study aims to understand the experiences of adolescents from broken homes in coping with childhood trauma and the process of building resilience. The method used was a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type. The study subjects consisted of three adolescents aged 20–23 who experienced broken families since childhood. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation, then analyzed using an interactive analysis model through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that childhood trauma emerged in the form of emotional, relational, physical, and existential trauma due to the loss of parental figures, conflict, emotional neglect, and verbal abuse. The impacts felt include low self-confidence, anxiety, mild depression, and difficulty relating to social relationships. Social support from extended family, friends, and the community has been shown to aid the recovery process and increase resilience. This study emphasizes the important role of parents, educators, and counselors in providing emotional support and a safe environment for adolescents from broken homes.

Fishermen are an essential group in supporting national food security; however, their lives are still characterized by various social and economic challenges, such as unstable income, low education levels, and high household expenditure burdens. This research aims to provide an overview of the socio-economic conditions and welfare of Bouke Ami fishermen in the Nusantara Fisheries Port (PPN) Muara Angke, North Jakarta, through the Fishermen’s Exchange Rate (NTN) and Fishermen’s Exchange Rate Index (iNTN). The study was conducted in May–June 2025 using a descriptive method with quantitative and qualitative approaches. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and questionnaires distributed to 100 Bouke Ami crew members (ABK). The results showed that the majority of crew members were aged 30–39 years, had completed only junior high school education, received health services through community health centers (puskesmas), had three family dependents, and most lived in their own homes. The average total monthly income of Rp5.733.500 is considered high as it exceeds the 2025 DKI Jakarta minimum wage (UMP) of Rp5.367.381. Meanwhile, the average total expenditure of Rp5.396.761 remains below income, indicating manageable household finances. The NTN value was 1,06 in April and 1,07 in May, resulting in an iNTN of 101%, indicating that Bouke Ami fishermen in PPN Muara Angke, North Jakarta, are at a level of economic welfare classified as prosperous with slight improvement. This increase reflects a modest rise in fishermen’s purchasing power between the two months and can serve as basis for formulating policies aimed at empowering coastal fishermen.

In the digital era, the demand for practical and efficient security systems has significantly increased, particularly in the context of access control for restricted rooms or buildings. This research aims to develop an automatic door locking system utilizing an RFID card and a NodeMCU ESP32 microcontroller integrated with Internet of Things (IoT) technology through real-time notifications using the Telegram application. The system is designed to replace conventional locking methods that often present various weaknesses, such as key loss, physical duplication, and lack of remote access capabilities. The development method employed is the Research and Development (R&D) approach, consisting of needs analysis, system design, hardware and software implementation, followed by testing and evaluation. The main components used in the system include the RC522 RFID reader for user identification, Espressif manufactures the ESP-32 microcontroller, which is equipped with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth modules to enable wireless internet connections. NodeMCU ESP32 as the control center and internet connector, a relay module as an electronic switch, and a solenoid door lock as the actuator. The results show that the system is capable of accurately reading RFID card UIDs, granting access to registered cards, activating the solenoid to unlock the door, and sending access status notifications to Telegram in an average of less than three seconds. The system also effectively denies access to unregistered cards and sends warning messages accordingly. Therefore, this system enhances the security and efficiency of room access control and has the potential to be adopted as a prototype solution in the development of smart homes or modern access control systems.

This study aims to describe community empowerment through a native chicken breeding program as an effort to improve food security in Pangkal Buluh Village, South Bangka Regency. The method used is a participatory approach that involves the community directly from the planning, socialization, training, implementation, to program evaluation stages. A total of 50 residents were involved as program targets, and each received four chicks, bringing the total number of chickens distributed to 200 native laying hens. The results showed enthusiasm and active participation from the community, both in attending training and in raising the chickens. The use of home yards as coops and local feed proved effective in reducing maintenance costs. This program has had a positive impact on the social aspect through the formation of livestock groups, the economic aspect with the potential for additional income from egg sales, and the food security aspect in the form of the availability of animal protein at the household level. Thus, the native laying hen breeding program can be a model for sustainable community empowerment in strengthening village food security.

This community service activity aims to increase the added value of local food products through training in making meatballs and salted eggs in Mokoau Village, Kambu District, Kendari City. Local food ingredients such as beef and duck/chicken eggs are abundant, but their use is still limited to household consumption. The activity implementation method includes preparation, theoretical and practical training, and evaluation of training results. This activity was held from September to October 2025, involving 25 participants consisting of housewives and local micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). The results of the activity showed an increase in the participants' ability to process local food ingredients into products with higher economic value. The meatballs and salted eggs produced had good taste and potential to be developed as a home business. The training also increased public awareness of the importance of product hygiene and packaging. This activity contributed to community economic empowerment and strengthening local food security through food product diversification.

       The rapid development of information technology has brought significant changes in the management of administrative processes in the field of education, including the process of student learning assessment. This study aims to design and develop a cloud-based report card application to assist Inpres Bhoanawa 1 Elementary School in managing academic data more effectively and securely. The system was developed using the PHP Native programming language and MySQL database, with a waterfall system development approach. The application has three main levels of access: school administrators, homeroom teachers, and subject teachers. School administrators are responsible for entering student data and granting access to homeroom teachers; homeroom teachers are responsible for entering learning objectives, student grades, and printing report cards; while subject teachers are responsible for entering formative and summative assessments as well as learning objectives. Cloud-based storage was chosen to ensure data security and availability, allowing access anytime and from any device connected to the internet.       The test results show that the system functions properly according to the design, features a simple interface, and is easy to operate even by users with limited technological skills. The implementation of this system can speed up the report card creation process, reduce the risk of data loss, and minimize paper usage, making it more environmentally friendly. In conclusion, this cloud-based report card application serves as a practical solution for elementary schools in managing student assessments while improving the efficiency of educational administration. Optimization aims to maximize or minimize certain values ​​to produce effective, successful results consistent with desired goals. You can communicate and interact with people you've never met in person using social media sites like Facebook. Online friendships can even be formed. Social media platforms like Facebook. Social media should be used with caution because almost everyone uses it. Facebook can be used for entertainment, education, promotion, and information sharing, all of which can be beneficial if done correctly. Everyone who uses Facebook should be aware of communication ethics, maintain their privacy, and refrain from sharing offensive content to maintain the security and usability of the platform. The implementation involves socialization methods and question-and-answer sessions with mothers at a social gathering. April 15, 2025. This activity took place at a resident's home. In addition to providing optimization training, the activity also aimed to improve communication between the village head and residents through the active involvement of participants. The goal was also to create a positive discussion atmosphere to improve community well-being and foster a stronger sense of togetherness and trust for future village growth. This will allow for identification of existing communication barriers and collaborative work to find solutions.

This study investigates the educational role of a mother in Iwan Setyawan’s Novel 9 Summers 10 Autumns. Using a qualitative approach, data were collected through documentation. The data collection process in this research involves identified, classified, analyzed, and organized systematically to support the completion of the research. The data were analyzed through identification, classification, description, and interpretation. The findings reveal that she manages household needs with precision, provides warmth and security, and remains strong despite her husband's imprisonment. Her modest home, though small, becomes a place filled with love, simplicity, and gratitude. Her sacrifices selling belongings and borrowing money reflect her unwavering dedication to her family’s survival and harmony. Her commitment to education is shown through her tireless support, never letting her children work, and always encouraging them to study and succeed. Her love and sacrifices result in her children graduating from university and eventually improving the family’s quality of life. The novel illustrates the power of maternal love, perseverance, and the profound impact of a mother’s role in shaping her children’s future.

The use of WiFi networks at home has become an essential need in the digital era, but many people still do not understand how to use it optimally and safely. This socialization activity aims to improve digital literacy, especially in managing household WiFi networks, for teenagers who are members of youth organizations in Darmakradenan Village, Karangpucung. The methods   used include presentations, interactive discussions, and distribution of educational modules. The results of the activity showed an increase in participants' understanding of basic network security steps, signal management, and awareness of their role as information technology agents. This activity is expected to contribute to creating a safer and more productive digital ecosystem at the community level.

The objective of the program was to introduce cassava fritters (perkedel singkong) as an alternative nutritious food and to enhance community knowledge and skills in cassava processing. The methods involved initial surveys (pre-tests), educational sessions, hands-on food processing activities, and final surveys (post-tests) to evaluate the effectiveness of the intervention. The training was designed using a participatory approach, allowing community members to be actively involved in each stage of the program. The results indicated an improvement in participants’ understanding of cassava’s nutritional value and its potential for home consumption and microenterprise development. Most participants showed interest in adopting cassava fritters as part of their daily meals and even as a potential small business product. This program effectively increased nutritional awareness, supported local food diversification, and strengthened community based food resilience through participatory education and innovation.
