This study examines the role of the creative economy in enhancing sustainable tourism potential in Pampang Cultural Village, Samarinda, Indonesia, and identifies strategic priorities for its development. Pampang Cultural Village is recognized for its rich cultural heritage preserved by the Dayak Kenyah community, which serves as a valuable tourism asset. Despite this potential, the contribution of creative economy activities to tourism development has not been fully optimized. Therefore, a comprehensive analysis is needed to formulate effective development strategies. This research employs a mixed qualitative–quantitative approach using the SWOT-AHP method. SWOT analysis is utilized to identify internal strengths and weaknesses as well as external opportunities and threats affecting creative economy development. Subsequently, the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) is applied to determine the priority level of each strategic factor and alternative strategy. The findings indicate that the village possesses significant creative economy potential in cultural performances, handicrafts, culinary products, traditional fashion, and cultural souvenirs. Cultural authenticity emerges as the primary strength, while limited innovation capacity and digital marketing skills remain the major weaknesses. The results further reveal that the highest-priority strategy is the development of innovative creative tourism products rooted in Dayak Kenyah cultural heritage while preserving cultural authenticity. This strategy should be supported by digital promotion, human resource capacity building, stakeholder collaboration, and improvements in tourism infrastructure to achieve sustainable tourism development.

The transformation of payment systems from cash to digital through the Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard (QRIS) is part of financial transaction modernization in Indonesia. This transformation has begun among Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the Baduy community, particularly in Baduy Luar, which has higher interaction with external communities. However, the adoption of digital payment systems has not been fully supported by adequate financial management capabilities. This community service activity aims to identify the transformation process of payment systems and describe the financial literacy conditions of Baduy MSMEs. The method used is a descriptive qualitative approach through in-depth interviews and field observations. The results show that some MSMEs have adopted QRIS through Bank BRI as an alternative payment method alongside cash and have utilized social media such as TikTok Live and Instagram for product marketing. The main sources of income include handicrafts, traditional clothing, accessories, and food products. However, financial management practices remain simple and lack systematic recording. This indicates improved financial inclusion but not yet accompanied by adequate financial behavior. Therefore, strengthening financial literacy is essential to support sustainable financial modernization in the Baduy community.

Financial literacy is an essential aspect in supporting community financial management, particularly in rural and indigenous communities such as Kanekes Village (Baduy). Although the community has begun to access financial services and digital technology, their ability to manage finances remains limited. Therefore, this community service activity aims to identify the level of financial literacy and to encourage public awareness of better financial management. The method used is a descriptive qualitative approach through in-depth interviews and field observations. The results show that the community, especially in Baduy Luar, has utilized social media such as TikTok Live and Instagram for product marketing and has adopted digital payment systems such as QRIS through Bank BRI, although cash transactions still dominate. The main sources of income come from micro-enterprises based on local potential, including handicrafts, traditional clothing, accessories, and food products. However, the community generally lacks financial recording practices and structured financial planning, causing income to be directly spent on daily needs. The activity also indicates the emergence of initial awareness regarding financial management and highlights the role of youth as local leaders in adopting digital technology. Therefore, strengthening financial literacy is crucial to improving financial behavior and supporting sustainable economic transformation within the community.

According to Sigmund Freud's psychoanalytic theory, mental disorders occur due to conflicts between the id, ego, and superego that give rise to anxiety and abnormal behavior. At the Pamardi Raharjo Banjarnegara Social Service House, this conflict is diverted through a skills guidance program that aims to improve the independence and quality of life of Beneficiaries (PM). The program includes training in doormat crafts, salted egg making, paving blocks, and flannel crafts, each of which is guided by a dedicated mentor and followed by a stabilized PM. The activity of making mats aims to train motor skills and social interaction and produce products with selling value. The making of salted eggs not only teaches production skills, but also fosters confidence and economic independence. Paving block activities are more focused on motor training and cooperation between PMs even though they are not yet worth selling. Meanwhile, flannel handicrafts guided by Mbak Retno became a new activity that provided space for expression and creativity. All of these activities are designed to distract PM's passive behavior and equip them with useful practical skills after leaving the orphanage. Thus, skills-based approaches have proven to be effective in supporting the overall rehabilitation and empowerment process of PM.

This study aims to identify and analyze the preparation of financial statements based on the Financial Accounting Standards for Micro, Small, and Medium Entities (SAK EMKM) in the Mebel Kerajinan Jepara business. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed using primary data obtained directly from business owners. Data collection techniques included in-depth interviews, observation of accounting records, and documentation of transaction evidence and records used in preparing financial statements. The data were analyzed descriptively to present systematic, factual, and accurate information about the actual accounting practices in the field. The findings reveal that the preparation of financial statements at Mebel Kerajinan Jepara has not yet fully complied with SAK EMKM. The business only keeps simple records of income and expenses in a notebook without producing complete financial statements such as the statement of financial position, income statement, and notes to the financial statements. The main constraints identified are the limited understanding of the business owners regarding the importance of accounting and the absence of human resources with accounting expertise. These findings highlight the need for assistance, training, and capacity building for business owners in the field of accounting to produce standardized financial reports, enhance business credibility, and support decision-making as well as access to financing. Thus, this study is expected to serve as a reference for local governments, educational institutions, and other related parties in providing accounting guidance to micro and small business actors.

Panglipuran Traditional Village in Bali has gained international recognition as one of the cleanest tourist villages in the world and serves as a model for culture-based sustainable tourism. The economic foundation of the village relies heavily on the development of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) rooted in local wisdom, which simultaneously function as drivers of economic growth and instruments of cultural preservation. This study seeks to examine the management practices, marketing strategies, and challenges faced by MSMEs in Panglipuran Village. The research applied qualitative methods, including field observation, in-depth interviews with key stakeholders, documentation review, and descriptive analysis. The findings reveal a strong synergy between customary values and economic activities, reflected in flagship products such as bamboo handicrafts, traditional cuisine, and signature beverages. Success factors include an effective organizational structure, the support of customary institutions, and the ability to adopt adaptive marketing approaches. Nonetheless, several challenges were identified, including limited utilization of digital marketing platforms, constraints in production capacity, and insufficient product innovation to meet the demands of broader markets. Recommendations highlight the importance of strengthening online marketing, diversifying product variations, and expanding cooperative networks both within and beyond the village. Overall, the study underscores the significant potential of culture-based MSMEs to enhance community welfare, increase competitiveness, and ensure the sustainability of local traditions within the dynamics of modern tourism.

Karang Taruna is a youth organization that plays a strategic role in developing the social and economic capacity of rural communities. However, local potential is often underutilized due to limited entrepreneurial knowledge, managerial skills, and access to mentoring. This community service program aimed to assist the Karang Taruna of Kedungturi Village, Taman Subdistrict, Sidoarjo, in fostering an entrepreneurial spirit based on the village’s local resources. The implementation method applied a participatory approach that directly involved youth through several stages: village potential mapping, entrepreneurship training, business mentoring, and facilitation of digital marketing access. The mentoring process provided not only theoretical knowledge but also practical experience in developing business ideas that correspond to local resource characteristics. The results of the program indicated an increased understanding among Karang Taruna members regarding entrepreneurship concepts, business management strategies, and the use of digital technology. Furthermore, the program successfully initiated three new business ventures based on local potential, namely traditional culinary products, waste-based handicrafts, and digital services. The establishment of a youth entrepreneurship team under Karang Taruna further strengthened collective commitment to developing the village’s creative economy. The impacts were not limited to improved skills but also included the growing awareness of the importance of local resource–based economic independence. In conclusion, this program demonstrates that participatory mentoring through Karang Taruna can serve as an effective strategy to strengthen the entrepreneurial spirit of rural youth while promoting local economic independence and sustainability.

This community service activity aims to improve the financial literacy of MSMEs in Giling Village, Pabelan District, Semarang Regency, through training on preparing simple financial reports. The training was conducted over one day and attended by 20 MSMEs from various business sectors, such as culinary, handicrafts, and trade. The methods used in this training included socialization of basic accounting materials tailored to the level of understanding of the participants, as well as hands-on practice in preparing financial reports, such as profit and loss statements and balance sheets. The material was presented in a simple and easy-to-understand manner, so that participants could immediately apply it to their businesses. Evaluation was carried out by observing the process of preparing financial reports by participants, using the provided practice sheets, and a feedback questionnaire that measured the extent of participants' understanding and changes in attitudes. The results of this activity showed that most participants were able to understand basic accounting concepts and were able to prepare simple financial reports quite well. This was also followed by an increase in participants' awareness of the importance of neat and orderly recording of daily transactions in running a business. Furthermore, this training succeeded in motivating participants to apply what they had learned in their respective businesses independently. Although this activity was short-lived, it had a very positive impact in building a strong foundation for more orderly and transparent financial governance among MSMEs. Therefore, it is recommended that follow-up training and regular mentoring be conducted to ensure the skills acquired can be applied sustainably and improve the ability of MSMEs to manage their finances professionally. Furthermore, this activity also provided a deeper understanding of the importance of sound financial planning for those wanting to start a business.

This research aims to explore the potential of paper waste as a recycled material that can be transformed into economically valuable products through a philanthropic approach focused on community empowerment and environmental sustainability. Paper waste is a type of waste whose volume continues to increase due to high paper consumption in various sectors. Without proper management, this waste has the potential to negatively impact the environment, such as soil and water pollution. Therefore, innovative strategies are needed to transform paper waste into new products that are not only environmentally friendly but also have market value. Through a community-based recycling program, this research emphasizes the importance of community involvement, particularly low-income groups, in every stage of the production process. The resulting creative products, such as handicrafts, decorative materials, and household items, not only extend the life cycle of paper but also open up new economic opportunities for the community. Profits from the sale of these products are allocated to fund social programs, including education, skills training, and other empowerment activities aimed at improving community well-being. The research results show that despite challenges in terms of limited technology, market access, and human resource capacity, paper recycling programs still have promising prospects if supported by various parties, including the government, non-governmental organizations, and the private sector. This support can include the provision of simple technology, entrepreneurship training, and effective marketing strategies. Thus, this paper recycling initiative is not only a solution to reduce waste but also a sustainable socio-economic empowerment model, providing dual benefits for the environment and society.

This study aims to explore the strategic role of e-commerce in increasing the export of handicraft products by Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia, with a case study on CV. Palm Craft in Kediri. In the context of globalization and digitalization, e-commerce is an important means for MSMEs to reach the international market, especially in the midst of the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic that limit conventional export activities. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The main focus of this study is how CV. Palem Craft utilizes various digital platforms such as social media (Instagram, Facebook), marketplaces (Tokopedia, Shopee), and global platforms (Amazon, Etsy) to expand market access, build product branding, and increase the selling value of local handicrafts. The results of the study show that the strategic use of e-commerce has helped companies overcome export barriers such as limited distribution networks, logistics constraints, and lack of international promotion. In addition, e-commerce also allows CVs. Palem Craft to build direct relationships with global consumers, get faster feedback, and make product adjustments according to market needs. This research also identifies supporting factors such as digital literacy, product quality, and production capacity as crucial aspects in the success of e-commerce strategies.  The implications of this study provide relevant insights for other MSMEs that want to develop exports through the use of digital technology. Continuous support from the government and related institutions is needed in terms of training, access to capital, and digital export facilitation so that Indonesian MSMEs can compete in the global market in a sustainable manner.

Based on research conducted using normative and empirical juridical methods at Class I and IIA Correctional Institutions in Bandar Lampung, the implementation of wage rights for inmates participating in independence development programs as mandated by Law No. 22 of 2022 and Government Regulation No. 32 of 1999 shows that the wage distribution mechanism (50% incentive for inmates, 35% for development funds, and 15% to the state treasury) has been executed through collective labor agreements and an integrated bookkeeping system. The results indicate that over 70% of inmates actively participate in productive activities such as carpentry and handicrafts, with an average wage increase of 15% within one year due to innovations in waste-based craft products. However, productivity varies between activities (85% of target in woodworking versus 60% in sewing) due to raw material constraints, and wage disbursement is delayed by an average of 10 working days because of manual verification procedures and report synchronization. To optimize this system, it is recommended to increase the number of coaching and administrative staff, improve production facilities, digitize bookkeeping and inmate savings accounts, and diversify programs according to local market needs.

Entrepreneurship training is an important strategy in the economic empowerment of village communities, especially for the youth of Karang Taruna and PKK members who have a strategic role in local development. In Kaladawa Village, local potentials such as agricultural products, processed food, and handicrafts actually have a fairly high economic value. However, this potential has not been utilized optimally due to low knowledge, skills, and access to information and technology that supports entrepreneurship. Lack of understanding of business planning, digital marketing, and financial management is often the main obstacle that hinders village communities from starting and developing businesses independently. This community service activity aims to increase the capacity and economic independence of the residents of Kaladawa Village through practice-based entrepreneurship training. The training is comprehensively arranged, combining interactive lecture methods, group discussions, case studies, and simple business simulations so that participants are able to understand in theory and practice. The training material includes basic concepts of entrepreneurship, identification and analysis of local potential-based business opportunities, preparation of business plans, digital marketing strategies using social media, and financial management of micro businesses. Not only technical skills, this training also equips participants with soft skills such as business communication skills, teamwork, and creative and innovative thinking. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in participants' understanding of the basic principles of entrepreneurship and readiness to start a business independently. The pre-test and post-test evaluations showed a spike in comprehension scores, while the business plan products developed by participants showed creativity and the use of local potential that had not been previously worked on. Some participants have even formed community-based small business groups. This training also succeeded in forming an adaptive and innovative entrepreneurial mindset and building a social network that supports business collaboration.

Entrepreneurship training is a key strategy for empowering village economies, especially among youth from Karang Taruna and PKK members. In Kaladawa Village, local potential such as agriculture and handicrafts has not been fully utilized due to limited entrepreneurial knowledge and exposure. This program aims to enhance participants' entrepreneurial competencies through practical-based training methods, including interactive lectures, group discussions, and business simulations. A participatory approach was implemented to help participants identify local potentials, develop business ideas, and formulate digital-based marketing strategies. The results of the training indicate a significant improvement in participants’ understanding of entrepreneurship, as reflected in the emergence of innovative business plans focused on local and digital products. Pre- and post-training evaluations showed increased motivation, creativity, and readiness among participants to initiate independent ventures. The training also fostered a sustainable entrepreneurial spirit by covering essential topics such as financial management, digital transformation, and business networking. Participants acknowledged that direct experiences and intensive mentoring during the sessions played a crucial role in building their confidence and competitiveness. However, for long-term success, continuous mentoring and institutional support are required, along with strategic collaboration between stakeholders such as village governments, local MSMEs, and higher education institutions. Thus, this program not only contributes to improving technical and entrepreneurial skills but also plays a pivotal role in developing a self-reliant and sustainable rural entrepreneurial ecosystem. The integration of similar training into broader community empowerment programs is recommended to ensure lasting impact, inclusive access, resilience, innovation, adaptability, creativity, empowerment, collaboration, leadership, and meaningful local economic development.
