The purpose of this study is to investigate the effectiveness of applying reading skills at a glance in improving understanding of scientific work. The method used in this study was library study. The data in this study were obtained from reading reference books and journal articles.  The result of this study is that by applying fleeting reading skills in understanding scientific work, we can improve academic literacy, help students and researchers access information quickly, and form critical and effective individuals in managing information. A fleeting reading skill is not just a technical skill, but a learning strategy that supports the achievement of higher education goals. In extensive reading, these skills are key to achieving an overall picture and basic information of scientific texts. In addition, the application of fleeting reading skills in scientific work provides significant benefits, such as time efficiency and the ability to quickly identify key information, although deep reading remains essential for comprehensive understanding.

Companies in making a decision require good consideration, therefore we need a system that helps provide information from good data processing so that it becomes the basis for decision making. This analysis aims to create a decision support system that can help the company to provide an overview of the decision to procure a new fleet that the company wants to buy.This decision support information system is implemented using the Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP) programming language and MySsql as the database application so that the desired features are created and neatly stored in operating the information system.This decision support information system also uses the Weighted Product method which is used to assist in decision making in determining the procurement of new fleets.The end result of this decision support information system is to combine a programming language with the Weighted Product method which can be used for decision making in determining which new fleet to buy, where the calculations are based on several predetermined criteria so that their use is on target.

Abstract; This research aims to find out about the risk of danger from ship collisions and to find out the factors that influence the risk of KM ship collisions. True Fleet at PT. Greetings Pacific Indonesia Lines. The type of research in this research is Normative Juridical research. The research approaches in this research are the statutory approach and the case approach. Sources of legal materials in this research are primary legal materials, secondary legal materials and tertiary legal materials. Data collection in this research used library research. Analysis will also be carried out using qualitative methods. The research results show that risk identification mapping of hazards that occur in activities on Armada Sejati ships can be carried out using the HAZOP or hazard method and the results show that the most dominant hazards are risks identified from several hazard sources such as ship accidents, painting, welding, mooring/unmooring, to loading and unloading goods. The occurrence of ship collision accidents can be caused by several factors, namely technical factors related to monitoring the ship's seaworthiness, natural factors related to weather and currents, human factors related to the human resources of the crew and also the company, as well as other factors.

This study aims to describe the use of waste and economic improvement of the people of Medan City through the Kepul Application based on Circular Economy Theory and take data from the study. This study uses qualitative methods with data analysis techniques using qualitative descriptive analysis. The results show that the development of the Kepul application has always been the main thing in the company's mission, this is because of the development of applications according to customer suggestions such as the Live Location feature, re-schedule, membership, etc. The effectiveness of Kepul in increasing people's income is arguably very good, as evidenced by the increase in resource persons' income from the range of Rp. 100,000 to Rp. 800,000 a month. From the results of the study, it is known that there are still many obstacles in Kepul in becoming an intermediary container for waste utilization in Medan City such as lack of strong branding, fleet problems, and price difference problems with conventional collectors. But this obstacle is not an impossible obstacle to pass, with the successful collaboration of Kepul with the Medan City Government and plans to attract more investors, Kepul believes that all the obstacles above can be passed well.

Ship KM. Egon is one of PT Indoneisan National Shiiping fleets that seves the Indonesian people for smooth sea transportation. This ship is a ship made in Germany in 1991 with a length of 94,30 meters and a windth of 16 meters which is one of the means of transportation that crosses various islands. In one voyage this ship is capable of transportation 500 pax of vehicles, loads of goods passengers with a capacity of 500 passengers with the destination of KM ship. Egon it self is Sheet Harbor, Waingapu Port, Surabaya Port, Batulicin Port, and Pare-pare Port. This study aims to determine the effect of Quality/Service Quality, Corporate Image, Safety Assurance on Passenger’s Decisions to Use the KM Ship Egon especially at PT. Pelni Surabaya Branch, the population in this study were passengers on the KM Egon ship owned by PT. Pelni Surabaya Branch and the sampels used in this study were 92 respondents. Data collection methods used are observation (Observation), interviews, and distribution of questionnaires. The sampling technique used is non-probability sampling purposive sampling type, then the data is analyzed using multiple linear regression with the help of (software) Statistical Package For Social Science (SPSS) Version 26. The regression formulation in this study is as follows:     Y = 1.785 + 0,310X1 + 0,202X2 + 0,220X3 + µ. From this equation, it is known that the most dominant variable influencing passenger decisions is the corporate image variable with a regression coefficient of 0.202. The R2 (R Square) test obtained results of 0.517 or 51,7% which means that Passenger Decisions are influenced by the variables of Quality/Service Quality, Corporate Image, Safety Assurance which are 51,7% and other factors that affect Shipping Safety at PT. Pelni Surabaya Branch, which is 48,3%.

. As for the procedures for buying piled up land, consumers must first buy a D.O (Dilevery Order) card at the cashier according to the size of the fleet being brought (large or small) then process the payment, then the fleet enters the loading process queue, then the D.O card is given to the operator excavator for loading piled up soil into the fleet tank, after the loading process is complete the fleet leaves. After receiving payment money from consumers, the cashier records sales transactions in the sales transaction book and then re-records the administration section into the master book for reports on the production of sales results which will be given to the person in charge. As long as the sales data management system is still recorded manually by the administration into the ledger, this risks causing delays in the preparation of reports because all sales transactions have to be re-recorded. Data is lost (stolen or corrupted). When sales files and sales reports are needed for re-checking, officers will have difficulty finding files in the master book, because they have to open the pages of the main book which are quite thick. There was a problem in September 2018 where the daily sales report was damaged by rain and the cashier had to re-record all daily transactions.

In Indonesia, online motorcycle taxis are the largest public transportation with a very large number of partners and fleets, covering all parts of Indonesia. As a profit-oriented mode of public transportation, paying attention to customer satisfaction is a necessity. One of the efforts that can be done is to provide quality services. In fact, this study aims to find out how online transportation users respond by looking at the service elements provided by service providers. Scientific studies are used as a logical way to prove reliable research results, and in this study using quantitative methods and statistical analysis of linear regression. The subjects of this study were users of the online ojek public transportation mode in the student MPLM UNJ 2022,Jakarta. The results of the study provide an overview, in general, respondents are satisfied with the presence of nline motorcycle taxis. This is very helpful and facilitates user activities. However, there are still things that need to be improved, such as comfort and safety standards. Statistically, service has a significant effect on online motorcycle taxi user satisfaction.

Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan pembagian kerja dalam meningkatkan efektivitas kinerja karyawan di CV. Akai Jaya Motor Kota Palu. Penelitian ini menggunakan Metode yang digunakan penulis dalam kegiatan ini yaitu Metode Field Research dimana penulis turun langsung dalam proses pelayanan konsumen. Teknik dariPengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasidan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian DI lapanagan selama magang dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan pembagian kerja di CV. Akai Jaya Motor Kota Palutermasuk pelaksanaan pembagian kerja waktu.Pembagian kerja dilakukan pada saat pekerjaan ada, baik rutin maupun insidentil bekerja.
