This study examines the influence of work discipline, employee motivation, and work environment on employee performance at the Office of Women Empowerment, Child Protection, Population Control, and Family Planning (DP3AP2KB) of Batam City. The research applies a quantitative approach with an associative design to determine the relationship and influence among variables. Data were collected from all employees using a structured questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability to ensure the accuracy of the research instrument. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression to evaluate both partial and simultaneous effects of the independent variables on employee performance. The findings indicate that work discipline, motivation, and work environment collectively contribute significantly to improving employee performance. Individually, each variable also shows a meaningful and positive effect, reflecting the importance of both internal and external factors in shaping employee outcomes and productivity. These results imply that strengthening discipline, enhancing employee motivation, and creating a supportive, comfortable, and conducive work environment are essential strategies for improving organizational performance and achieving institutional goals effectively. Therefore, organizations are encouraged to implement policies and programs that support employee development, maintain a positive work atmosphere, and improve overall work quality in a sustainable manner.

The sampling techniques used include accidental sampling, snowball sampling, and purposive sampling. Data collection methods include observation, interviews, and in-depth interviews. The data analysis involves descriptive statistics, path analysis, and the Sobel test. The study results indicate: 1) Public perception of Krama Bali family planning is mostly positive, with most respondents understanding and accepting it. However, the practice of having four children, as recommended by Krama Bali family planning, is less common due to the risks of late-age pregnancy. 2) Education has a significant positive effect on contraceptive use, with employed respondents using contraceptives for a longer duration than unemployed respondents. Meanwhile, the KAP of Krama Bali family planning has a significant negative effect on contraceptive use. 3) Education and contraceptive use have a significant negative effect on fertility, with employed respondents having lower fertility than unemployed respondents. In contrast, the KAP of Krama Bali family planning has a significant positive effect on fertility. 4) Contraceptive use partially mediates the effects of education, employment status, and the KAP of Krama Bali family planning on fertility.

Early marriage remains a significant issue contributing to the high prevalence of stunting in Indonesia, particularly in rural areas. The lack of awareness among adolescents and parents regarding the negative impacts of early marriage and the importance of proper nutrition is a major contributing factor. The PENA EMAS (Early Marriage Prevention for Stunting Elimination Towards Healthy Children) program was implemented in Tanjung Buaya Village as part of the KKN-T Posko 22 UNIMMAN initiative to raise public awareness about the dangers of early marriage and its link to stunting risk. This program utilized three main stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. Activities included educational sessions, adolescent health screenings, local vegetable planting initiatives, and interactive media such as podcasts and educational competitions. The evaluation results showed an increase in community awareness of family planning and nutrition fulfillment, with five adolescents identified as having anemia based on hemoglobin (Hb) level tests. The conclusion of this program is that community-based educational interventions with participatory approaches can enhance awareness among adolescents and parents in preventing early marriage and reducing stunting risk. Recommended follow-up actions include regular health check-ups, adolescent mentoring, and the empowerment of Youth Ambassadors for Stunting Prevention to ensure the program’s sustainability.
