In the current digital era, managing sales transactions manually is inefficient and prone to recording errors. This research aims to develop a web-based Point of Sale (POS) application for the Phi Phi Thai business using the Extreme Programming (XP) software development methodology. XP was chosen for its support of rapid iteration, adaptability to changing user requirements, and strong collaboration between developers and stakeholders. The developed application includes key features such as user registration and login, product ordering, menu and customer management, expense tracking, and financial and sales reporting. Testing was conducted using the Black Box Testing method to ensure that all functionalities performed according to specifications. The implementation results indicate that the application improves operational efficiency, reduces transaction errors, and provides real-time information for business owners to support better decision-making. Furthermore, the application of Extreme Programming (XP) methodology in the development process allows time for regular evaluation and refinement of the application based on feedback from end users. Each iteration produces a version of the software that can be immediately tested and used, minimizing the risk of system failure during final implementation. This approach also encourages lightweight yet relevant documentation and open communication between the technical team and business owners. Thus, the developed Point of Sale application not only meets current functional requirements but also has a high degree of flexibility for further development as Phi Phi Thai's business grows in the future.

The advancement of information technology has encouraged companies to enhance operational efficiency through computerized systems, particularly in human resource management. PT Volar Mekanikal Teknologi x Luminous Creation faces challenges in manual attendance recording, unsystematic leave management, and a payroll system that lacks integration. Therefore, this study aims to design and implement a web-based Employee Management Information System using the Extreme Programming (XP) methodology. The system focuses on three main features: attendance tracking using GPS and selfie verification, online leave applications, and automated payroll calculation integrated with attendance data. The system development process includes planning, design using Unified Modeling Language (UML), coding with the Laravel framework and MySQL database, and testing through the Black-Box method. The implementation results show that the system effectively improves efficiency and accuracy in employee management, while also supporting the company’s operational activities in a more professional and structured manner.

Technology that develops very rapidly brings many changes, especially in the development of medical records in hospitals that are increasing. Electronic medical records bring many benefits, one of which is improving the quality of services in hospitals. The medical records used at Hermina Arcamanik Hospital are mostly electronic-based, including reporting. However, problems were found in the medical record installation, namely, there were several reports that had not been managed optimally. This is because reporting still uses google spreadsheets which requires data to be moved manually one by one, so it takes a long time, and the quality of reporting becomes less accurate. A real example of this problem can be seen in the process of reporting patient Mortalitys. Meanwhile, accurate and systematic reporting of Mortality data is essential in supporting decision-making in hospitals. Therefore, the design of a patient Mortality reporting information system is urgently needed to make time efficient and improve the quality of reports. The method used in designing this system is extreme programming and web-based. The results of this information system design are able to shorten the time to make Mortality reports and can produce accurate data

This literature review discusses the application of Agile methodology in modern software development. Agile offers a flexible, iterative approach that contrasts with traditional waterfall models. The objective of this study is to provide insights into how Agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, and Extreme Programming have influenced development speed, software quality, and team collaboration. Methodologically, the study synthesizes findings from recent academic and industrial literature from the last five years. The results show that Agile enhances adaptability and customer satisfaction, although challenges remain in large-scale implementations.
