Import and export activities are economic activities that cannot be separated from trade and are a unity that can encourage the improvement and growth of the economy in a country. The purpose of this research is to focus on the effect of import-export on economic growth, the evaluation of the contribution of Customs, and the role of international trade supervision. Customs or customs authorities in Indonesia, known as Customs and Excise, are the gateway to international trade. Customs manages state finances and implements state revenue through import duties and excise. The results of this study show that Indonesia's economic growth is influenced by global economic growth. In the first quarter of 2023, export activity weakened with the moderation of international commodity prices which supported the exports of North Sumatra Province. Export performance in North Sumatra grew 2.45% (yoy), lower than the previous quarter which amounted to 9.77% (yoy). Export activities in Indonesia are one of the efforts made by the government to follow the development of industrialization every year. The aim of this research is to find out how the European Union's complaint against Indonesia regarding the ban on nickel exports at the World Trade Organization (WTO) occurred. The biggest problem with this is the degradation of nickel in nature. Solving this problem requires nickel empowerment. This can be avoided by stopping shipments abroad, which will help anticipate the current depletion of nickel supplies. Therefore, the Indonesian government must hurry to increase nickel supplies, with activities aimed at increasing the added value of nickel in the country's natural resources.

The definition of price is the value of goods which is determined or expressed in terms of money or the amount of money or other equivalent means of exchange, which must be paid for goods or services, at a certain time and in a certain market. The price level attached to the product describes the quality of the product. Meanwhile, price discrimination is a term used in international trade, referred to as a trade practice carried out by exporters by selling every commodity on the international market at a price that is less than the appropriate value or can be said to be lower than the price of the goods in their own country, which is considered unfair because can damage the market and harm competing producers in the importing country. Among the activities of entrepreneurs that usually do not favor competition is price discrimination. This situation describes a situation where sellers provide different prices for their products with the same quality and quantity to two or more sellers, or provide unequal prices to buyers or consumers in the form of inappropriate inventory, or take action by setting a pricing strategy. to gain advantages for more profitable consumers.

The results of the FEVD show that the policies used in Export activities are in the short term carried out by Exports themselves, then in the medium and long term the policies used in maintaining Export activities are Exports themselves and are influenced by Imports. Then the results of the FEVD show that the policy in maintaining imports in the short, medium and long term is with imports itself and followed by exports. Then the results of the Difference Test show that there are no significant differences in inflation and exchange rates before and during the Covid-19 pandemic. This article aims to review and attempt to inform the concept of the role of monetary policy in the economy. The research method used is qualitative and literature studies or library research. Based on the results of the discussion above, it can be concluded in general that the role of monetary policy in the economy is to keep economic conditions growing and conductive, to create sufficient money supply so that growth can always be in harmony with the course of development which requires strong discipline among monetary authorities and also on the government side and overseeing the development of foreign currency receipts and supervising activities in the foreign sector ( exports and imports). Activities in this sector are very easy to cause inflation in the country, because the price of law materials always fluctuates. Thus, revenues from export activities always experience irregular changes.
