JURNAL EKONOMI BISNIS DAN MANAJEMEN (JISE) 2026 CV. ALIM'SPUBLISHING

This study investigates the role of Baitul Maal wa Tamwil (BMT) in empowering Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) through the integration of Maqashid Sharia principles and financial inclusion strategies. Despite the strategic importance of MSMEs in economic growth and poverty reduction, many face challenges in accessing formal financial services. BMT, with its dual function of social (maal) and commercial (tamwil) activities, offers a unique platform to bridge this gap. Using a qualitative systematic literature review guided by PRISMA, this study analyzes 30 relevant articles to examine BMT operational models, implementation of Maqashid Sharia objectives, financial inclusion practices, and their impact on MSME performance. Findings indicate that BMT effectively supports MSMEs in capital access, income generation, and business resilience, but inconsistencies in balancing social and commercial objectives limit. holistic empowerment. Integrating Maqashid Sharia principles enhances ethical and sustainable outcomes, while financial inclusion expands outreach to underserved entrepreneurs. Optimization strategies, including strengthening institutional capacity, combining financial and non-financial support, and context-specific interventions, are essential for maximizing BMT effectiveness. This study contributes a comprehensive framework linking ethical, financial, and empowerment dimensions, offering practical guidance for policymakers and BMT managers in promoting inclusive and sustainable MSME development.

This study explores the urgency of halal certification for food and beverage Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) in Indonesia following the implementation of Law Number 33 of 2014. Despite the enactment of regulations, various obstacles such as low halal literacy and bureaucratic complexity remain major challenges. This study aims to analyze the strategic role of Islamic religious instructors as agents of empowerment and da'wah (Islamic outreach) in assisting UMKM in their halal certification process. Using qualitative methods with a library research approach, data was collected through a search of relevant literature and regulations, then analyzed using content analysis techniques. The study results indicate that Islamic religious instructors perform four crucial functions: literacy educators, access facilitators, motivators of Islamic economics, and policy mediators. Optimizing these roles can be achieved through capacity building, digitalization of mentoring, and integration of community networks. The study concludes that strengthening the role of instructors is essential to accelerate the implementation of mandatory halal certification and strengthen the Islamic economic ecosystem in Indonesia.

This study aims to analyze the implementation of assistance for issuing Business Identification Numbers (NIB) for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Sukodadi District, Lamongan Regency. This assistance program is a government effort to support MSMEs in obtaining business legality regulated through the Online Single Submission (OSS) system. The method used in this study is a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, field observations, and document studies related to program implementation. The results show that NIB assistance has a positive impact on MSMEs' understanding and awareness of the importance of business legality, which was previously neglected. However, there are several obstacles in its implementation, including limited digital literacy among MSMEs and limited internet access in some areas, which hinder the NIB registration process through the OSS system. Furthermore, although assistance has been provided by local governments and related agencies, it is necessary to increase the frequency and quality of assistance to make the NIB registration process easier and more efficient for MSMEs. Therefore, a more intensive mentoring policy based on technology empowerment is urgently needed to support the sustainability of business legality among MSMEs in Sukodadi District.

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) serve as a key pillar of Indonesia’s national economy, contributing significantly to the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and employment absorption. Nevertheless, MSME actors continue to face various challenges, including limited access to capital, low digital literacy, and bureaucratic hurdles in business licensing. Law Number 11 of 2020 on Job Creation (UU Cipta Kerja) was introduced as a regulatory breakthrough to address these obstacles by simplifying bureaucracy, offering business incentives, and easing access to digital markets. This study focuses on the implementation of this policy in Kampung Batik Turi, Blitar City, a hub of local wisdom-based MSMEs. The research aims to analyze the local-level application of the Job Creation Law, identify supporting and inhibiting factors, and assess its impact on the growth and independence of batik MSME actors. The findings are expected to offer practical recommendations to strengthen the alignment between national regulation and the actual needs of regional MSMEs, fostering more inclusive and sustainable MSME empowerment.

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play an important role in the Indonesian economy as labor absorbers and drivers of the local economy. However, this sector often faces various challenges such as limited access to financing, infrastructure, and policy support. This study aims to analyze the role of fiscal policy in encouraging the growth of MSMEs in Indonesia. The methods used are literature studies and secondary data analysis from various official sources, including government reports and national statistical data. The results of the study indicate that fiscal policy instruments such as tax incentives, subsidies, and state spending for MSME empowerment programs have a positive impact on increasing MSME productivity and competitiveness. However, the effectiveness of these policies is highly dependent on targeted implementation and synergy between related institutions. Therefore, a more inclusive, transparent, and adaptive fiscal policy formulation is needed to encourage sustainable economic growth

In an effort to improve the community's economy in Petemon Village, Sawahan Subdistrict, Surabaya City, this research analyzes the empowerment of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). The results show that although programs to encourage MSMEs exist, their implementation is not optimal. One of the problems found is the lack of coordination between related agencies, the lack of training and capital distributed for MSMEs, and the lack of monitoring the growth of MSMEs. According to this study, although efforts have been made to support the applicable laws, the implementation of the program needs to be improved, especially in terms of fair distribution, effective socialization, and assistance that suits the needs of MSMEs.
