Mesenteric artery thrombosis is a condition in which there is a narrowing or blockage of one or more branches of the main arteries that supply the small and large intestines called the mesenteric arteries. This condition can lead to mesenteric ischemia and acute mesenteric artery occlusion, which are associated with high morbidity and mortality. The prevalence of patients with mesenteric vein thrombus is not known because many cases are missed because the symptoms are atypical and disappear spontaneously. Early identification and management of non-occlusive mesenteric ischemia (ISNO) reduces mortality by 50-55%, whereas mesenteric vein thrombus has a 30-day mortality rate of 13-15%. The prevalence and incidence of patients with mesenteric ischemia in Indonesia are not known. Mesenteric artery thrombosis can be subdivided into non-occlusive mesenteric artery ischemia and occlusive mesenteric artery ischemia. Patient A 40 year old male came to the emergency room at Cut Meutia Hospital with complaints of abdominal pain for 4 days. Pain comes and goes. Nausea exists. bloody chapters. Interprofessional Collaboration (IPC) is professional collaboration with different educational backgrounds and collaborates to improve service quality. The purpose of this study was to explore SBAR communication carried out by nurses and doctors in IPC at the Hospital X. The research method is qualitative. The research participants were 10 health workers (5 nurses and 5 doctors). Data analysis was carried out by processing and preparing data, reading data, coding, coding interpretation, presenting themes, and interpreting data. The results showed that there were three themes produced: 1) A thorough assessment by nurses and doctors; 2) Collaboration between nurses and doctors to patients; 3) Barriers communication between nurses and doctors. The form of communication that is applied between doctors and nurses in the emergency room at the hospital x is SBAR communication that has been implemented well. The main barriers to SBAR communication are the shortage of staff and the increase in the number of patients. And the obstacle from the doctor's side is the new nurse personnel who do not really understand their duties. The conclusion of this study is that the application of SBAR communication in the Interprofessional Collaboration (IPC) relationship between nurses and emergency room doctors at the hospital x is good, but there are still barriers to SBAR communication when there is an increase in the number of patients due to lack of staff in the hospital.

. Phlebitis is the area of skin around an intravascular catheter that is swollen, red, hot and painful. The aim of this research is to find out how nurses prevent phlebitis in patients. For this research, the design used is descriptive. The population consisted of all inpatients who were placed on an IV by a nurse in the emergency room and then admitted to the hospital. Data was collected using probability sampling techniques using the Slovin formula for 69 samples, using checklists and observation sheets, and analyzed using frequency distribution. The results of research conducted on 69 nurses in the Thamrin Medan inpatient room showed that there was an increase in the actions of respondents before the training was carried out. The majority had "bad" actions, namely 39 people (65.5%), 30 people (43.5%) had "good" actions. %). After the phlebitis prevention training was carried out, the results showed that those with "bad" actions decreased to 24 people (34.8%) and those with "good" actions increased to 45 people (65.2%). The results of the study showed that nurses' actions in preventing phlebitis averaged a score of 8, a minimum score of 4 and a maximum score of 10. This happened because the majority of nurses had taken action to prevent nosocomial infections well, so it was seen that there was a change in nurses' behavior before and after after training in phlebitis prevention at Bunda Thamrin Hospital, Medan.

Background: Most respiratory disorders are caused by problems or diseases of the respiratory system, including the lungs. Inability of the lungs to expand (elasticity), as well as structural (anatomical) and functional airway obstructions that prevent the creation of breathable airflow, are signs of impaired lung function. Restriction and blockage are two types of lung function problems.Purpose: To analyze the application of the tripod position and pursed lip breathing technique to the increase in oxygen saturation in congested patients in the emergency room at PROF Hospital. Dr. SABOE TONGUE.Methods: Case report, which is a narrative report. The case study in this paper examines the use of a tripod position and pursed lip breathing technique to increase oxygen saturation in shortness of breath patients. Patients with asthma, lung cancer, TB, and COPD constitute the study population. Four patients with asthma, lung cancer, tuberculosis, and COPD were sampled for the study. Results: After the nurse's intervention was carried out, which was related to airway management in the fourth patient, the overall evaluation results were obtained, then the intervention was continued in the patient's treatment room. Conclusion: Based on the description above, people with respiratory problems often experience decreased functional daily activities, decreased concentration, and mood swings. As a result, if the condition of shortness of breath is allowed to continue unnoticed it will reduce oxygen saturation which in turn can cause cyanosis in patients who experience recurrent infections.
