This research aims to study the story of Elisha in 1 Kings 19:19-21, which describes God's call to Elisha to replace Elijah as a prophet. Elisha's action of burning his plow and slaughtering his oxen is understood to be a symbol of total sacrifice & commitment to leave his old life behind in order to follow God's call. This research uses a literature study method using Qualitative approach, analyzing biblical texts and related literature about the prophetic call & sacrifice in the Bible. The results of the analysis reveal that Elisha's actions reflect full commitment to God's call, which involves sacrifice not only materially as well as spiritually. Apart from that, Elisa's request to say goodbye to other people indicates the importance of balance between spiritual calling & human interaction. This research concludes that God's calling requires total sacrifice & commitment, but always pays attention to obligations towards family & society. It is hoped that the research output This can enable Christians to understand how to carry out God's call with full responsibility.

This study aims to describe the principle of perseverance taught by Elijah through his exemplary life, explain Elijah's strategies in facing life's challenges, and identify the meaning of Elijah's faith and its relevance to everyday life. Elijah demonstrated extraordinary perseverance in his obedience to God, as seen in his story in 1 Kings 17:1-6. He remained faithful to the mission given by God, despite facing various challenges, including spiritual conflict, physical threats, social isolation, and inner turmoil. The pinnacle of Elijah's faith is seen in his confrontation with the prophets of Baal on Mount Carmel, where Elijah challenged idol worship with a strong conviction in God's power. Elijah's experience teaches the importance of maintaining faith in the midst of challenges, consistency in pursuing goals, and nurturing a personal relationship with God as a source of strength. Elijah's life also has relevance in the modern context, especially in terms of empowering leadership, spiritual integrity, moral courage, and commitment to divine truth..

Elijah's obedience is evident in his faithfulness to listen and obey God's commands. This study also explores the relevance of Elijah's obedience for present-day believers. In a world filled with challenges and uncertainties, the lessons from Elijah's story provide inspiration about the importance of faith, obedience, and reliance on God. It offers a perspective that enriches how believers can lead their everyday lives with deep obedience to God's will, gaining strength and courage from their faith. This research reveals that Elijah's obedience reflects strong relevance for present-day believers, emphasizing the importance of strengthening the spiritual connection with God, following His will, and believing that obedience to Him brings blessings and protection. The practical implications of Elijah's obedience can encourage believers to deepen their faith, enhance their obedience, and broaden their perception of God's power and presence in everyday life.

The reign of Ahab and his wife Jezebel was a time of spiritual crisis in Israel. Ahab did what was evil in God's eyes more than all those who preceded him (1Kgs. 16:30), he worshipped Baal and the gods that caused God's heartache and Elijah, the prophet sent by God in response to Ahab and Jezebel's deeds. Elijah opposed the worship of Baal. Elijah's integrity was seen in the great mission he carried out he followed what God commanded him but God's care for him did not escape God to provide what he needed and to do that God commanded him to bring food to Elijah in his hiding place. The research method used is the analysis of biblical texts, with a descriptive approach of analysis and literature review Descriptive analysis researchers use to describe God's providence to the prophet Elijah during the drought in Israel. Today, man as God's creation often doubts God's providence and is even able to do bad things before Him to fulfill his desires. Through Elijah it can be seen that if we believe and follow what he commands, God will take care of his created life and provide for his needs

By looking at the existing generations, it is very important to describe the great figures who were diligent in preparing generations, namely Moses educating Joshua in preparing the command of the line to go on a long journey, the same thing was done by Elijah by diligently educating professional cadres, namely Elisha, even the Lord Jesus too. He was active in educating his students and Paul was educating Timothy. This reminds us again that the Church should never neglect its obligations to young people because the risk is too dangerous, because the church will lose its strength, and even lose its young people. The study of science may give rise to doubt in the hearts of young people who are developing, because it seems like it is not in line with God's Word. True science will not conflict with the Bible, because scientific laws are from God and He is the one who inspired what is written in the Bible.  The theories put forward by scholars may conflict with each other, or may provide incorrect interpretations of the Bible. Allah menunjukkan kehadiran-Nya melalui berbagai fenomena. Pada masa Elia, berbeda dengan manifestasi kehadiran pada zaman Musa, Ia menyatakan diri dengan bunyi angin sepoi-sepoi basa. Tulisan ini mengulas tentang latar belakang sejarah pada zaman Elia, beberapa elemen di dalam manifestasi kehadiran Allah dan pembahasan dari setiap ayat teks 1 Raj 19:9-14. Elia berdialog dengan Allah dengan mengungkapkan pengalaman pribadinya dan semangat yang menyala untuk Allah semesta alam. Manifestasi kehadiran ilahi yang dinyatakan secara misterius dengan fenomena alam ini mengarahkan manusia untuk melihat karya Allah yang tersembunyi dan tanggapan dalam kesetiaan hidup di bawah bimbingan- Nya.
