There are several ways in which humans deal with the risk of disasters and disasters which are (qadha and qadhar) of Allah SWT. However, humans must make efforts to take anticipatory action to minimize the risks that will arise, therefore it is necessary to create or design strategies to manage risks. This strategy is first tasked with identifying the risks faced, after that measuring or determining the magnitude of the risk.

Flooding is a problem that still requires special attention from a number of parties, including the community and the government. Flooding is not a light matter. Flooding can occur due to rising water levels due to above-average rainfall, temperature changes, levees or dams bursting, or obstruction of water flow elsewhere. The lack of community management and preparedness for disasters is one of the causes of the high impact of post-disaster damage or loss, so disaster mitigation is needed as an effort to reduce disaster risk. The research aims to analyze public knowledge about flood mitigation and preparedness. This study used qualitative research methods with the sampling technique used was simple random sampling. It was found that among several questions in the interview that the author asked about flood management knowledge and preparedness in flood disaster mitigation, all informants responded and acted very well. From the research conducted, all informants expect attention from the government to make improvements to the drainage system again and make new drainage. And the author hopes that the arrangement of residential areas on the banks of the river will be carried out to overcome floods that often hit the Kampung Baru area, Medan Maimun District.

Departing from the problem of disasters that often occur on river banks where when the rainfall is large enough, the river water discharge is also quite dangerous to the surrounding settlements. Therefore, we realized this greening program by planting tree seeds at a number of points around the riverbanks. With the goal of comprehensive river greening, an integrated, comprehensive, sustainable, and insightful plan is needed to think about the environment with the river as a management unit. This community service activity is carried out by the method of (1) community assistance in encouraging increased community participation (2) completion analysis problems and preparation of plans (3) Monitoring and evaluation of work program implementation activities.   The main target of this program is community groups and individuals who care highly about the environment with the aim of providing motivation for other communities. With the following stages of implementation: Consultation with the Village, Monitoring Planting Locations, Recruitment of seedlings at the Central Sulawesi Provincial Forestry Service, Planting on the banks of the hamlet 2 river, Planting on the banks of the hamlet 1 river, Planting in the yards of residents' houses, Planting at SD Negeri 2 Sindue   Tombusabora, Outreach on the dangers of throwing garbage into rivers and seas, Distributing plant seeds to residents. The Mobile Community Oke Service Program (LOMAK) is an innovation from the Rumbai District Head in the field of public services which aims to make it easier for people in Rumbai District to get various public services. The LOMAK program itself is a form of integrated sub-district administrative service (PATEN) which is deployed to serve administration in the middle of community settlements or can be said to be an integrated sub-district administrative service around. However, in its implementation the LOMAK Program did not run well. In 4 years the LOMAK Program was only implemented 3 times, while the LOMAK Program should have been implemented once a month. This research aims to evaluate the Mobile Community OK Service Program and the factors that hinder its implementation. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative method and uses policy evaluation theory according to William N. Dunn which consists of several indicators, namely effectiveness, efficiency, adequacy, alignment, responsiveness and accuracy. The results of this research are that the LOMAK Program is a very good program. Of the 6 indicators above, only 1 indicator was not met, namely efficiency in terms of time. The inhibiting factors in implementing the LOMAK Program are natural disasters and the managerial abilities of implementers. Researchers provide suggestions so that implementers can find a backup plan in the event of a natural disaster and increase outreach so that the LOMAK Program can reach all levels of society.

A disaster becomes an extraordinary event that disrupts and threatens life and livelihoods caused by nature and humans, or both. The existence of natural disasters can have both small and large impacts on the environment. The thing that can be done to reduce the consequences of disasters is that synergy from various parties is needed, one of which is the involvement of nurses. Nurses have a huge role to play in preparing and handling communities in the face of disasters.  As health workers, nurses are at the forefront of disaster management so that they can anticipate the prevention of disasters and their impacts (Doondori, A. K., & Paschalia, Y. P. 2021). Cianjur Regency is one of the areas that experienced the impact of natural disasters, namely earthquakes.  The earthquake occurred on November 21, 2022 at 13:21:10 WIB with a magnitude of 5.6 in the Cianjur area, West Java. The earthquake caused a lot of infrastructure damage and casualties. This has a great influence on the condition of the community, one of which is in terms of health biopsychosocially and spiritually. Based on the phenomenon that occurs along with the existence of the role of the nurse as a healthcare provider. Universitas Esa Unggul sent a team of health volunteers to carry out several activities for the community such as, providing comprehensive nursing services, becoming collaborators, conducting education and trauma healing. This action is considered sufficient to help patients who have health problems both who come to the post and who are in refugee tents. They feel happy because of the existence of health service facilities so that the public can consult, get education and also trauma healing.

This study aims to determine and describe the strategy model for increasing the Village Development Index (IDM) seen from environmental resilience, economic resilience, and social resilience. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method. The results of the study indicate that the strategy model for increasing the IDM from environmental resilience is still less than optimal in underdeveloped villages and developing villages. Although developing villages are better than underdeveloped villages, there are several problems such as potential disasters that have not been handled properly, especially landslides. In terms of economic resilience, developing village communities have a better diversity of livelihoods than underdeveloped villages. Access to trade facilities and financial institutions is limited in both villages, although developing villages have alternatives through BUMDes. In terms of social resilience, access to education and health in both villages is quite good, although the BPJS membership rate is still low. In terms of housing, developing villages have recorded almost equal access to clean water, sanitation, and electricity, while underdeveloped villages have not reached 100%. Access to information and communication in both villages is available, but not yet optimal.

Geographically, the archipelago Indonesia is located on the Ring of Fire which is the meeting point of many tectonic plates. This condition causes Indonesia to be prone to earthquakes. The West Java Cianjur earthquake in November 2022 was a 5.6 MW earthquake with a depth of 10 km, which was caused by the movement of the Cugenang fault. Ciherang Village in the Pacet sub-district, Cianjur is one of the villages affected by the Cianjur earthquake. Victims of natural disasters are physically, psychologically and socially faced with very complex situations and circumstances. These problems cause stress for all residents and can cause hypertension. The purpose of this Community Service activity is to help ease the mental burden of Ciherang villagers who were affected by the earthquake. It is hoped that through this blood pressure measurement activity, the hypertension status of residents can be known. The results of blood pressure measurements showed that 9.7% had high blood pressure (130-139/85-89 mmHg) and 37.1% of residents had hypertension (≥140/90 mmHg).
