MALFINA : Maritime Logistics and Financial Journal 2026 Akademi Angkatan Laut

This study analyzes the effect of logistics digitalization systems and personnel competence on the distribution of personnel uniforms (kaporlap) at Kodiklatal. The study was motivated by the fact that the distribution system had not yet operated optimally despite the implementation of digital logistics, while delays in updating the Sistem Informasi Entitas Samapta (SIMBENSAM), limited documentation of device identities, and unequal digital skills among personnel still constrained distribution performance. A quantitative approach with explanatory design was applied. The population consisted of 3,099 personnel and the sample comprised 97 respondents selected using Slovin's formula. Data were collected through Likert-scale questionnaires and internal documentation, then analyzed using validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, descriptive analysis, and simple and multiple linear regression. The results show that the logistics digitalization system has a positive and significant effect on kaporlap distribution (t = 24.607; p < 0.05), personnel competence also has a positive and significant effect (t = 37.972; p < 0.05), and both variables simultaneously affect distribution performance (F = 788.285; p < 0.05) with an R square of 0.944. These findings confirm that digital systems and human competence must be strengthened in an integrated manner to support efficient, accurate, and timely distribution in a military education environment.

The wave of digitalization triggers a severe morality crisis among the younger generation through constant exposure to negative content, cyberbullying, and global communication ethics degradation. This descriptive qualitative study aims to analyze the specific internalization of Christian values at GPIB Harapan Kasih Congregation Bekasi to shield youth morality amidst ongoing technological disruption. Employing intensive in-depth interviews and participatory observations, data were analyzed interactively through systemic reduction, structured display, and final verification. The results indicate that the digital morality crisis explicitly manifests as pornography normalization, virtual toxicity, and the severe erosion of academic honesty. In response, pastoral strategies utilizing highly contextualized digital ethics sermons and youth cell groups prove thoroughly effective. The deep internalization of self-control and integrity successfully stimulates a holistic self-censorship mechanism across the youth's cognitive, affective, and behavioral domains. This study concludes that consistent accountability-based mentorship effectively transforms Christian youth from passive digital victims into active agents of change within global cyberspace.

The digitalization of tax administration has become one of the Indonesian government's strategic initiatives to improve efficiency, transparency, and taxpayer compliance. However, the implementation of digital tax systems among Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), particularly distributor-sector MSMEs in Batam City, still faces various administrative and technical challenges. This study aims to examine the experiences, risk perceptions, and adaptation strategies of distributor MSME actors in responding to the digitalization of tax administration following the implementation of the Harmonization of Tax Regulations Law (UU HPP). The research employed a qualitative approach using a phenomenological method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with seven distributor MSME owners in Batam City who had utilized digital tax systems such as e-Filing and Coretax. The findings indicate that most business actors still experience limitations in technical understanding, concerns regarding reporting errors, and difficulties adapting to changes in digital tax systems and regulations. To address these challenges, MSME actors developed several adaptation strategies, including the use of tax consultants, hybrid manual-digital bookkeeping systems, and informal assistance through the internet and business networks. This study highlights that the success of tax digitalization requires a more adaptive approach, stable systems, and policies that are aligned with the characteristics of local MSMEs.

Accountability in preparing financial reports is a crucial instrument for the sustainability of business entities, because inaccurate financial data management can hinder decision-making and harm business performance in the future. For MSME actors in the PKK Tanggamus community, strengthening financial reporting competence is an urgent need so they can map expenditure structures, record income, calculate profit, and evaluate business development periodically. This community service activity aims to improve participants’ financial discipline, particularly in separating personal assets, business capital, and gross profit, while introducing accessible office technology. The training focused on optimizing LibreOffice Calc as an alternative to Microsoft Excel with similar functions for creating transaction tables, cost recapitulations, and simple financial reports. The activity method included material presentation, software demonstrations, report preparation practice, and interactive discussions based on participants’ business needs. This study aims to examine the debate regarding the effectiveness of traditional learning methods in science education at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) amid the development of educational digitalization. The study employed a qualitative approach with a case study design conducted in Jember Regency for three months, from February to April 2026. The research informants consisted of 16 participants, including madrasa principals, teachers, parents, and community members. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews, observations, and documentation, which were then analyzed using descriptive qualitative techniques. The findings revealed that traditional methods are still considered effective in helping students understand basic science concepts because the learning process is systematic and easy to comprehend. However, limited access to technology in several schools remains an obstacle to the equal implementation of digital learning. In addition, although digital learning can increase students’ motivation and engagement, it does not necessarily lead to an optimal improvement in conceptual understanding. Therefore, this study concludes that a combination of traditional and digital learning methods is the most appropriate approach in science learning at elementary schools and Madrasah Ibtidaiyah, considering students’ needs as well as the availability of facilities and infrastructure. structure.

Vegetable stall businesses represent a common form of micro-enterprise that meets consumers' daily needs, including in the Depok District. However, most business owners have yet to adopt proper and adequate financial record-keeping practices, relying instead on manual methods. This makes it difficult to control and evaluate business financial management. This community engagement initiative aimed to provide guidance on digitizing accounting records for vegetable stall MSMEs using the BukuWarung application and to enhance the digital financial literacy of business owners regarding digital financial management. A quantitative descriptive approach was employed, involving observation, interviews, documentation, and direct assistance provided to vegetable stall owners in the Depok District. Observations revealed that business owners gained a better understanding of and improved skills in using the BukuWarung application, becoming capable of independently recording income, expenses, and business receivables and payables. The initiative demonstrated that implementing a guidance program for digitizing accounting records via the BukuWarung application significantly contributed to improving the financial management capabilities of vegetable-trading MSMEs. These findings suggest the potential for applying similar guidance models to MSMEs in other regions to foster broader digital financial literacy.

This paper examines the shift in the economic paradigm in Indonesia through digitalization, driven by the Fourth Industrial Revolution and the transition towards Society 5.0. The people's economy based on SMEs faces significant new challenges and opportunities in this era. Using a literature approach and case studies, this article highlights how information technology plays a role not only as a marketing tool but also as an instrument to strengthen economic sovereignty in accordance with the mandate of Article 33 of the 1945 Constitution. The findings indicate that the success of digital transformation depends on the synergy between supportive government policies, private sector innovation, and the adaptability of SME actors. In facing global challenges, the proposed strategy includes strengthening digital literacy for all levels of society and protecting the domestic market from the influx of foreign products that could threaten the sustainability of SMEs. This is crucial to ensure the future resilience of the national economy while also promoting the sustainable growth of the SME sector. Thus, digitalization is not only an efficiency solution but also a key factor in reinforcing Indonesia's people-based economy in the globalization era.

This study uses a quantitative method with an explanatory approach to explore factors contributing to low pension literacy among workers. The sample consisted of 66 workers from both the formal and informal sectors in Jakarta in December 2025. The findings reveal that low pension literacy is not solely due to a lack of knowledge but results from various factors, including low awareness, short-term financial behavior, product complexity, inadequate education, and underutilization of digital tools. There is a mismatch between workers' perceptions and the reality of pension fund behavior. The majority of workers (86%) are unprepared for retirement, and 89% do not have a voluntary pension fund. Despite this, 80% do not rely on workplace pension funds, and 45.5% feel confident they can meet their living expenses in old age, indicating pseudo-awareness they understand the importance of pension funds but have not established one. This reveals a gap between awareness and action regarding pension funds. Improving pension literacy requires an integrated approach that combines transformative education with digitalization to facilitate access and participation. Education must drive behavioral change, while digitalization simplifies processes, enhances accessibility, and broadens financial literacy. The synergy of education, digital technology, and policy support is essential for improving workers' financial readiness for a secure retirement.

This study aims to evaluate the quality of public services at the Department of Population and Civil Registration of West Sumba Regency following the implementation of digitalization through the use of electronic signatures. A quantitative approach was employed, with data collected through questionnaires distributed to 100 respondents. Data analysis was conducted using the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) method to identify gaps between the level of importance and service performance. The results indicate that, overall, service quality can be categorized as fairly good, as reflected by performance levels that are relatively close to public expectations. However, several service attributes remain in the priority quadrant, particularly in terms of system usability, service stability, and accessibility. Meanwhile, attributes such as service speed, data security, and staff responsiveness demonstrate satisfactory performance and should be maintained. These findings suggest that the implementation of electronic signatures has improved service efficiency and effectiveness, although further improvements are still required, particularly in technical aspects and system usability. Therefore, continuous improvement efforts are necessary to enhance public service quality, making it more responsive and oriented toward user satisfaction.
