Aerobic capacity, commonly measured by maximal oxygen uptake (VO₂max), is a key indicator of physical fitness and athletic performance, particularly in endurance sports. Recent attention has focused on the role of respiratory muscle function in supporting exercise performance, as respiratory muscle fatigue during high-intensity or prolonged activity may reduce ventilatory efficiency and exercise tolerance. This literature review aims to examine current evidence regarding the effects of Respiratory Muscle Training (RMT), including Inspiratory Muscle Training (IMT), on aerobic capacity in athletes. Relevant studies were identified through electronic databases such as PubMed, Scopus, and Google Scholar using keywords related to respiratory muscle training, VO₂max, and athletes. The reviewed studies generally reported improvements in inspiratory muscle strength, reduced respiratory muscle fatigue, and enhanced ventilatory efficiency following RMT interventions. These physiological adaptations may contribute to better exercise tolerance and overall athletic performance. However, evidence regarding direct improvements in VO₂max remains inconsistent across studies. The findings suggest that RMT can be used as a complementary strategy alongside conventional training programs to support aerobic performance. In addition, improved respiratory muscle function may provide benefits in health promotion and rehabilitation by reducing dyspnea and increasing exercise tolerance. Further well-designed studies are needed to clarify the extent of RMT’s contribution to improving VO₂max in athletic populations.

Postpartum depression is a postpartum mental health disorder that significantly impacts maternal well-being, infant development, and family functioning. The high prevalence of postpartum depression in Indonesia is due to limited access to health services, low mental health literacy, and social stigma in the community. This indicates a significant gap between the need for maternal mental health services and the availability of existing interventions, making education a crucial component in efforts to prevent postpartum depression early. This study aims to analyze the prevention of postpartum depression in postpartum mothers through telenursing-based education and screening using the Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale (EPDS) in the community. A descriptive case study design was used, involving one respondent, a 25-year-old primigravida mother residing in the Bantul area. The intervention was implemented online via WhatsApp and video calls, including structured health education on postpartum psychological changes, adaptive coping strategies, and the importance of social support. The intervention also included daily remote monitoring of the respondent's condition via the WhatsApp mobile application. The EPDS was administered as a pre-test and post-test to evaluate changes in the respondent's psychological condition. The findings showed a significant decrease in the EPDS score from 16 (moderate depression) to 6 (minimal depression), indicating significant psychological improvement. These results imply that integrating EPDS screening, structured health education, and daily monitoring is an effective and accessible community-based approach to preventing postpartum depression, particularly for mothers with limited mobility and access to health services.

Odot grass (Pennisetum purpureum cv. Mott) is an important ruminant forage because of its high palatability, adaptability to tropical environments, and potential for high biomass production. This study aimed to evaluate the effect of solid organic fertilizer on the growth and production of odot grass as a basis for developing productive and sustainable forage cultivation. The experiment was conducted in Pangi Village, Dulupi District, Boalemo Regency, from February to March 2026 using a completely randomized design with five treatments and three replications. The treatments consisted of P0 without solid organic fertilizer, P1 at 10 t/ha, P2 at 20 t/ha, P3 at 30 t/ha, and P4 at 40 t/ha. Observed variables included plant height, leaf number, tiller number, and fresh weight production. Data were analyzed using analysis of variance followed by Duncan’s multiple range test at the 5% significance level. The results showed that P4 produced the best response for all measured parameters. The highest plant height was 77.83 ± 43.80 cm, with 18.83 ± 3.67 leaves, 2.42 ± 1.38 tillers, and fresh weight production of 52.33 ± 10.12 t/ha. These improvements indicate that 40 t/ha solid organic fertilizer enhanced nutrient availability and supported biomass formation. Solid organic fertilizer is therefore a promising locally based cultivation input for improving ruminant forage productivity.

Interpersonal problems within peer groups often become serious obstacles to the psychological and academic development of college students. This study aims to empirically examine the effectiveness of individual counseling services using cognitive restructuring techniques in reducing withdrawal behavior among college students experiencing peer conflict. The research method employed is a quantitative experiment with a Single-Subject Design approach, specifically utilizing an A-B design. The research subject  was a 6th-semester female college student, initialized as N, who experienced cognitive distortions in the form of feelings of exclusion by her five-member peer group, which triggered acute social withdrawal behavior (isolating herself in her boarding house). Data collection was conducted through a validated withdrawal behavior scale instrument, supported by clinical observations and in-depth interviews during the baseline phase (A) and the intervention phase (B). The results of the visual analysis within-conditions and between-conditions indicated a significant decrease in withdrawal behavior scores after the implementation of 4 intervention sessions. The subject was able to identify negative automatic thoughts (arbitrary inference), replace them with rational mindsets (positive thinking), feel more relieved, and commit to self-improvement. The implications of this study prove that individual counseling with cognitive restructuring techniques can be an effective intervention strategy for campus counselors to overcome cognitive distortions and interpersonal communication barriers in college students.

Recent Internet of Things (IoT) intrusion detection studies have reported near-perfect benchmark performance for Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) detection, yet limited attention has been given to understanding how different traffic representations contribute to the detection process under highly imbalanced traffic conditions. This study presents an ablation-driven analysis to investigate the contribution of statistical and temporal representations for large-scale IoT DDoS detection using the CICIoT2023 dataset. Three experimental scenarios are evaluated, including statistical representation, temporal sequence representation, and hybrid statistical–temporal representation. Temporal representations are learned using a one-dimensional Convolutional Neural Network (1D-CNN) with lag-based traffic sequences, while ensemble tree-based classifiers are employed for final classification and representation analysis. In addition, multiple ablation configurations are designed to evaluate the impact of temporal dependency modeling and feature engineering strategies on detection performance. Experimental results show that statistical traffic representations remain highly effective for DDoS detection on CICIoT2023, achieving 99.36% accuracy and 99.31% weighted F1-score in the statistical representation scenario. Feature importance analysis further indicates that engineered statistical features contribute substantially more to the classification process than CNN-based temporal representations. Although temporal modeling captures sequential traffic behavior, its contribution is relatively limited and mainly acts as a complementary representation. Furthermore, the hybrid configuration produces only marginal improvements over the statistical representation alone. These findings highlight the importance of representation-level analysis for understanding the actual contribution of statistical and temporal modeling in modern IoT intrusion detection systems beyond relying solely on benchmark accuracy.
