Indonesia's micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) continue to encounter a range of obstacles, particularly in enhancing their productivity and competitiveness. The 2020 survey conducted by the Ministry of Education and Cultural Affairs indicates that Indonesia still has substantial challenges in terms of education quality, especially in rural and underdeveloped urban areas. Several factors, such as the availability of high-quality education, access to educational resources, and the level of teaching excellence, can significantly impact individuals' capacity to effectively manage their enterprises and promote innovation (Kemendikbud RI, 2020). This study investigates the link between knowledge sharing practices, innovation, and employee performance within Indonesian MSMEs. Through exploratory analysis, it offers fresh insights into how innovation and knowledge sharing behaviour can affect employee performance in Indonesian MSMEs. The main objective is to analyse and explore the impact of innovation and information sharing behaviours on employee performance in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Indonesia. Based on this research and its findings, several strategies have been identified. These strategies aim to explore the complex relationship between an employee's performance, their willingness to share knowledge, and their ability to demonstrate innovative behaviours in MSMEs. Future study could focus on improving the quality of human resources, specifically in areas such as knowledge, expertise, competence, and entrepreneurial attitude. Investing in the development of human resources yields benefits for both MSME business owners and the overall well-being of workers..

This study aims to analyze the influence of capital, digitalization skills, and financial management on the performance of culinary MSMEs in Bojonegoro Regency. The method used is quantitative. The research sample consisted of culinary MSMEs in Bojonegoro which were taken using random sampling techniques. Data were collected through a Likert scale-based questionnaire and analyzed using multiple linear regression with SPSS software. The results of the study show that capital, digitalization skills, and financial management have a significant positive effect on MSME performance, both partially and simultaneously. Adequate capital provides opportunities for business development, digitalization skills increase competitiveness through efficiency and market reach, while good financial management supports business stability and sustainability. These findings provide practical implications in the form of the need for training, facilitation of access to capital, and increasing financial literacy for MSME actors. This research also provides a basis for local governments to formulate policies that support the development of MSMEs in the digitalization era.

In the increasingly fierce business competition, understanding the factors that influence consumer buying interest is crucial. This study analyzes the effect of product quality and price on consumer purchase intention of Tofu Baxo Ibu Pudji in Pamularsih, Semarang City. Using a quantitative survey method, data was collected from 50 respondents through questionnaires. The results showed that product quality and price have a strong and positive relationship with consumer buying interest. The correlation test shows that product quality has a calculated r value of 0.68 and price of 0.62, both of which are greater than r table (0.2787), indicating a significant relationship. Partial regression test (t-test) shows that product quality (t count = 38.83) and price (t count = 6.96) have a significant effect on purchase intention (t table = 2.01063). The simultaneous test (F-test) shows that product quality and price together have a significant effect on buying interest with an F value of 26.1168 (F table = 3.200). The coefficient of determination (R2) shows that product quality and price explain 52.63% of the variation in consumer buying interest, while 47.37% is influenced by other factors. The results of this study provide insight for business owners in improving quality and pricing strategies to increase competitiveness and sales volume.

In North Sumatra, the rapid development of toll roads has significantly impacted the accessibility and efficiency of goods and services distribution. This study aims to analyze the influence of toll road development on the growth of MSMEs in the region. Utilizing statistical data and case studies, this research demonstrates that infrastructure improvements contribute to local economic growth and enhance the competitiveness of MSMEs.

Digitization of cooperatives and the use of technology are strategic steps in increasing economic competitiveness in the Madura handwritten batik sector, especially in Central Pakandangan Village, Sumenep Regency. This program aims to empower handwritten batik artisans through technology integration and digital capacity building. Some of the main activities include Search Engine Optimization (SEO) training, digital financial management through Accountable Digital Financial Management, digital cash book preparation, as well as Social Media Officer training and social media management strategies. The participants were also trained to create creative content, carry out digital branding of batik through logo design and visual branding, as well as build digital partnerships and cooperation. In addition, technological innovations are introduced through the use of night blasting machines to support production efficiency. This approach is expected to be able to increase the visibility of Madura written batik products, expand the market, and strengthen the competitiveness of artisans in the digital era. With a combination of training and the application of technology, this program contributes to the transformation of the digital-based economy in the Madura batik sector.

This study aims to design an effective cash accounting information system for an agrotourism hotel in Batu City. The data collection methods used are field studies and literature review, employing techniques such as observation, interviews, and documentation. The important significance of this research is to enhance the cash receipt procedures for hotel room rental payments by incorporating additional digital payment methods through e-wallets and QRIS, thereby increasing transaction efficiency that benefits both the hotel and consumers. The significant importance of this research is to enhance the efficiency of payment transactions, making it easier for both the hotel and consumers. The qualitative analysis in this study aims to improve the accuracy of cash recording, reduce the risk of errors and misuse of funds, enhance internal control, broaden payment options, and provide practical guidance for hotels and consumers regarding payment and cash receipt procedures. With improved cash receipt procedures, the hotel will be better prepared to meet consumer needs and increase competitiveness in response to changes.

The purpose of improving the function of Indonesian to become an international language is to show the nation's identity and increase the nation's competitiveness. Indonesian has the potential to become an international language because of various factors such as the positive attitude of Indonesian speakers is characterized by Indonesians' pleasure to use Indonesian and has a sense of love, pride and loyalty to the Indonesian language. The movement of the role of Indonesian in the country and the internationalization of the Indonesian language are jointly supported by the promotion of good and correct use of the Indonesian language. This promotion needs to be prioritized to maintain the existence of language as a symbol of the identity of the Indonesian nation in global life. Therefore, various efforts are made as well as hard work and cooperation between language institutions, all elements of the government and the role of the wider community are strategic steps to realize the existence and role of the Indonesian language in the international world.

The restaurant business continues to grow, but few business actors understand how to seize business opportunities to increase competitiveness. This study aims to analyze the application of the Canvas Business Model (BMC) in the culinary industry, with a focus on the fast food business in the city of Surakarta. BMC is used to evaluate nine key elements: value proposition, customer segments, distribution channels, customer relationships, key resources, key activities, key partnerships, cost structure, and revenue streams. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collection through surveys, interviews, and observations. The results of the study show that the implementation of BMC can increase the effectiveness of business strategies, especially in terms of product innovation, improved customer experience, and optimization of digital marketing and partnership networks. In addition, a SWOT analysis is conducted to identify the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of the culinary business, which is then used as a basis in designing a growth strategy. The main findings of this study propose new business models that are more adaptive and sustainable, including product diversification strategies, the use of digital technology, and strengthening partnerships with suppliers and food delivery service platforms. This research is expected to be a reference for culinary entrepreneurs in developing more competitive and sustainable business strategies in the digital era.

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) have an important role in the Indonesian economy, including Warung Madura MSMEs. This research aims to analyze the development strategy of Warung Madura MSMEs from an Islamic economic perspective. This research uses a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques through in-depth interviews with Warung Madura owners and economic observers. A literature study was also carried out to explore the concept of Islamic economics and its application in developing MSMEs. The results of the research show that Warung Madura's MSME development strategy from an Islamic economic perspective offers a holistic and sustainable approach. By applying the principles of justice, sustainability, business ethics, human resource development and access to appropriate financing, Warung Madura can increase its competitiveness and contribute more to the local economy. It is hoped that this research can provide insight for stakeholders in formulating more effective MSME development policies and programs.

The leather industry in numerous countries, including Indonesia, continues to encounter significant challenges that impede its competitiveness in both domestic and international markets. Abekani Leather, a small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) operating within the leather industry in Yogyakarta, is one such entity striving to remain competitive against other players in the sector. Based on interviews conducted with the owner of Abekani Leather, it was revealed that annual sales from 2018 to 2023 have declined by approximately 10-15%. This downturn is primarily attributed to the increasing presence of competitors offering similar products within the leather industry. Based on the AHP weighting results using the Super Decision software, it can be concluded that the alternative strategy SO-4 (Utilizing social media for promotions in various media by utilizing community relationships) has the highest weight value of 0.54, meaning this strategy should be prioritized first to achieve Abekani's objectives.

This study aims to evaluate the efficiency of Batam’s regional investment policies, focusing on their effectiveness in fostering sustainable economic growth. Batam, one of Indonesia's fastest-growing cities, has experienced significant industrial development, making investment policies a crucial factor in ensuring continued economic progress. The research examines key aspects of these policies, including efforts to reduce bureaucracy in investment processes, create incentives that align with regional development goals, and enhance the monitoring of investment activities. By analyzing the current policies through a comprehensive evaluation framework, this study identifies challenges such as institutional dualism, legal uncertainties, and slow investment growth, which hinder the city's economic development. Additionally, it explores solutions for optimizing these policies to improve their efficiency, thereby contributing to sustainable growth and greater competitiveness for Batam. The findings of this study provide critical insights for policymakers seeking to enhance Batam's investment climate and overall economic performance.

This study examines the impact of green talent management practices on HR performance quality in eco-friendly hotels in Central Java, Indonesia, using a phenomenological approach. Through in-depth interviews with 24 participants across six star-rated hotels, direct observation, document analysis, and focus group discussions, the research explores how green HRM practices influence employee performance and career development opportunities for young talent. The findings reveal that eco-friendly hotels have implemented various green talent management practices including environmentally-conscious recruitment, sustainability training, green performance management, and employee involvement in environmental initiatives. These practices positively impact multiple dimensions of employee performance: task performance through improved resource efficiency; contextual performance through enhanced teamwork; adaptive performance through increased innovation capability; and environmental performance through strengthened pro-environmental behaviors. The effectiveness of these practices is influenced by top management commitment, integration with business strategy, training quality, organizational culture, and resource availability. Young employees perceive involvement in green initiatives as valuable for developing leadership skills, expanding professional networks, and enhancing market competitiveness, although they identify the need for clearer sustainability-focused career paths. The study contributes to GHRM and talent management literature by explicating the mechanisms linking green talent management with performance outcomes in the hospitality industry context, while providing practical implications for hotel managers seeking to enhance both environmental sustainability and human resource performance. The research underscores the importance of a holistic approach to green talent management that aligns environmental priorities with employee development and organizational strategy.

Structural transformation is an important process in the economic development of a country. In Indonesia, the plan to move the National Capital City (IKN) from Jakarta to Nusantara in East Kalimantan is one of the strategic steps in accelerating structural transformationThe methodology used in this study is a qualitative and quantitative approach. The results of the study show that the acceleration of structural transformation through the development of IKN has a significant impact on the formation of a new economic base and increasing Indonesia's competitiveness. The formation of a new economic base in IKN can be seen from the emergence of technology and innovation-based industrial clusters. The impact on national competitiveness can be seen from the increase in productivity and innovation capacityThe analysis of the acceleration of structural transformation through the development of the IKN shows a fundamental change in Indonesia's economic base. The development of IKN as a smart forest city accelerates structural transformation through three main mechanisms. The impact on the formation of a new economic base can be seen from the shift in the economic structure in the IKN area and its surroundings. Talent management in the digital era is a complex phenomenon that requires a comprehensive approach in dealing with contemporary organizational transformation. This study aims to explore the dynamics of talent management through a systematic literature review of ten reputable scientific journals covering various organizational and industrial contexts. The research method uses the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach with content analysis and narrative synthesis techniques. The findings of the study reveal that talent management is no longer just an administrative function but a strategic strategy that determines the sustainability and competitiveness of organizations in the digital era. The results of the study identify four main dimensions in talent management in the digital era, namely: transformation of management approaches, technology adaptation, development of individual competencies, and the formation of a responsive organizational ecosystem. This research makes a theoretical contribution to produce a comprehensive conceptual framework of cutting-edge talent management practices. The practical implications show the need for a multidimensional approach that pays attention to the technological, psychological, and organizational aspects of managing human resources. This research offers a holistic perspective in understanding the complexity of talent management in the sustainable digital era.

In response to the increasing competition within the telecommunications industry, PT. Telkom Indonesia Regional III faces the challenge of maintaining its competitive advantage and fostering customer loyalty. This study aims to analyze the application of Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC) by PT. Telkom Indonesia Regional III in enhancing the company’s competitiveness while simultaneously strengthening customer loyalty. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, utilizing data collection techniques such as interviews, observations, and document analysis. The findings reveal that PT. Telkom Indonesia Regional III has effectively implemented essential IMC elements, including advertising, sales promotions, digital marketing, personal selling, and public relations. These strategies have proven to be effective in increasing customer awareness of services, reinforcing long-term relationships, and supporting the company’s competitive positioning in the market.

This study explores the role of industrial organization and market structure behavior in enhancing industrial performance in Indonesia. The objective of this research is to understand how organizational strategies and market structures influence industrial behavior and performance within the context of Indonesian industries. The method applied in this study is qualitative analysis, examining case studies from several industries in Indonesia, as well as analyzing organizational structures, competitive strategies, and external factors affecting industrial performance. The findings indicate that market structure and organizational behavior play a significant role in determining the competitiveness and efficiency of industries. The implications of this research are crucial for policymakers, industry leaders, and researchers to develop strategies that promote industrial growth, sustainability, and improved economic performance.

Education is an ongoing issue that continues to be researched over time. Private universities established by foundations are required to make efforts to enhance the competencies of their graduates, which results in high competitiveness. This study aims to examine the antecedents of lecturer performance and its impact on graduate competence at Medan city. The factors studied in the antecedents include: foundation management, university governance, and dean leadership and their effects on graduate competence. The population in this research is final semester students of the Management Study Program, Faculty of Economics, at nine private universities in Medan City. The sample selection in this study was carried out using multi-stage sampling, starting with purposive sampling of private universities and incidental sampling of students. The total sample in this study comprises 576 students representing the nine private universities proportionally. Data analysis used descriptive statistics and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). This research concludes: (1) Foundation management has a positive and significant effect on university governance. (2) Foundation management has a direct positive and significant effect on dean leadership. (3) University governance has a positive and significant effect on lecturer performance. (4) University management has a positive and significant effect on dean leadership. (5) University governance has a positive and significant effect on lecturer performance. (6) Dean leadership has a positive and significant effect on lecturer performance. (7) Lecturer performance has a positive and significant effect on graduate competence. (8) Foundation management has a positive and significant effect on dean leadership through university governance.

Islamic insurance is one of the Islamic financial instruments designed to provide financial protection based on sharia principles, such as mutual help (ta'awun) and risk-sharing. As a country with the largest Muslim population in the world, Indonesia has great potential to develop this industry. Over the past five years (2018-2022), the sharia insurance industry in Indonesia has shown consistent growth, reflected in an increase in gross contribution from IDR 12 trillion in 2018 to IDR 16 trillion in 2022. However, the market share of Islamic insurance remains small compared to conventional insurance, with key challenges including limited market scale, lack of product innovation, low public literacy in Islamic finance, and intense competition with conventional products. This article aims to analyze these challenges and formulate development strategies that can be implemented to strengthen the competitiveness of Islamic insurance in the global market. This research uses a qualitative approach based on secondary data analysis obtained from industry reports, scientific journals, and official publications. The results show that the main strategies for development include product innovation oriented to the needs of the global community, digitization of services to improve efficiency and accessibility, public education to increase Islamic financial literacy, strengthening regulations to create a conducive business environment, and strategic collaboration with international financial institutions to expand market networks.

The implementation of Islamic economics in Indonesia's development administration during the digital era presents a significant opportunity to build a system founded on inclusivity, fairness, and sustainability. Digital transformation plays a pivotal role in optimizing sharia-based financial technologies, empowering community economies, and enhancing resource management efficiency. Technologies such as halal e-commerce, blockchain, and sharia-compliant financial applications extend access to financial services in previously underserved remote areas. However, challenges such as low digital literacy levels and insufficient regulatory frameworks remain obstacles. Collaboration among the government, Islamic financial institutions, businesses, and communities is essential to ensure the effective implementation of this system. By combining sharia principles with technological innovations, Islamic economics holds substantial potential to boost Indonesia's economic competitiveness on a global scale.

The management of tourist attractions and public facilities has undergone a significant transformation in recent years in line with technological developments. Previously, management was carried out manually by involving a lot of labor and human resources to maintain and manage its operations. However, digitalization has changed the way management is more efficient and organized. Digital-based systems are now widely applied to facilitate visitor access while increasing the effectiveness of tourist attraction management.  Digitalization aims to create a mutually beneficial relationship between managers and visitors through an optimally designed system. This study aims to analyze the design and design of the digital management system applied to Dalegan Beach in Gresik Regency, East Java. This system is expected to be able to simplify the administrative process, improve the visitor experience, and optimize the management of existing resources. Through a systematic approach, this research explores the functional and technical needs to create effective technology-based solutions. The implementation of this system is expected to be an example of the application of digitalization in the management of other tourist attractions, so that it can support the development of the tourism sector and increase competitiveness in an increasingly competitive industry.
