The storytelling competition, as one of the featured competitions in the 2022 Langsep Challenge at Santa Maria Langsep Catholic High School, Malang, was the main highlight of the event. This event showcases the creativity and expertise of the competition participants in telling stories in an interesting and engaging way. Participants from various junior high schools compete to win the champion title in this competition. The various stories presented include interesting themes related to folklore. The competition jury, which consists of experienced lecturers, observes and assesses each participant's presentation based on criteria such as grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, how to tell a story, mastery of the stage, clothing, properties used, moral message, time management, and so on. This competition is not only an opportunity to show students' speaking skills, but also develop creative thinking and self-expression skills. With full support from the school and the enthusiasm of the participants, the Story Telling Competition at Langsep Challenge 2022 created an atmosphere full of enthusiasm and joy among students.

This study aims to analyze the marketing strategy of orchid ornamental plants in South Tangerang, especially in the context of opportunities and challenges faced by local producers. Conducted in December 2023, this study took objects from 10 housewives cultivating orchid ornamental plants in South Tangerang City. The method used is descriptive qualitative, by conducting in-depth interviews and observations of local producers to understand the marketing strategies they use, as well as identifying opportunities and challenges faced in marketing their products. The results showed that local producers used a variety of marketing strategies, including local exhibitions, online sales, and cooperation with local florists. However, there are several challenges faced, including limited market access, price competition with imported products, and lack of understanding of digital marketing. In-depth discussions are conducted to evaluate effective marketing strategies and overcome the challenges faced. The implications of this research highlight the importance of developing innovative and adaptive marketing strategies for local producers in the face of increasingly fierce market competition. Recommendations include improving market access through cooperation between local producers, training on digital marketing, and improving local product branding to increase competitiveness in local and international markets. Thus, this research contributes to strengthening the local orchid cultivation sector in South Tangerang.

The Mayangsari culinary tourism village Semarang was formed in 2018 by a number of people who are members of the Putra Mayangsari Disaster Preparedness Group (KSB Puma) and the Mayangsari Tourism Awareness Group (Pokdarwis Mayangsari). The Semarang City Culture and Tourism Office provided ideas for developing Mayangsari River Tourism by highlighting the potential attractions of river tubing, river education and culinary tourism. The development of the Mayangsari culinary tourism village, which is a finalist in the 2022 great village competition in the creative and innovative village category, still has several things that need to be improved, especially regarding accounting records for culinary tourism. Based on this, it is important to provide education on the importance of accounting records in theory and practice in the Mayangsari culinary tourism village. The approach used in this community partnership program is in the form of giving lectures and tutorials by providing accounting material ranging from recording to preparing financial reports. It is hoped that this community partnership program will increase and sustain economic activities in the Mayangsari culinary tourism village.

One of the new beverage or food industry competitions that are ready to compete and enter the market nationally is the white coffee industry. Efforts to increase promotion, price adjustments, and product quality, or need to carry out a more effective marketing strategy in accordance with the findings of market research conducted. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of advertising attractiveness, product quality, brand image, and price on purchasing decisions for Luwak White Coffee drinks. The quantitative approach method carried out is based on concrete research data, which is a numerical value that will be measured by statistics as a calculation test tool and related to problems, resulting in a conclusion. The population of this study was consumers of Luwak White Coffee drinks at the Virdasari store in SiDate Village. The sample was obtained from subjects 25% of the population of 332 people, obtained 83 respondents. The research instrument used is the primary data from filling out the questionnaire. The results of the study found that advertising attractiveness does not affect purchasing decisions, product quality does not affect purchasing decisions, brand image does not affect purchasing decisions, price affects purchasing decisions. Business actors carry out economic activities for profit. Globalization makes many changes in the times, especially in the industrial economy in Indonesia.Digital economy or disruptive innovation raises business competition problems so as not to cause large losses to consumers and other business actors on a large economic scale creating high barriers to market entry due to the positive economy. This research uses qualitative descriptive, descriptive analysis to see the phenomenon of existing events and qualitative research methods based on philosophy as an instrument, Data collection techniques and qualitative analysis emphasize meaning. Oligopoly markets whose structure consists of two or three or even more control the market 70 to 80 percent of all production or selling value around it and emphasize the price determined. The development of the era of business actors utilizing technology is certainly due to globalization which affects industrial markets in each country to abroad. Oligopoly is very influential in industrial markets because of pressure on prices and new ideas from competitors and supported by digital technology hence industrial market activities to retain consumers. In addition to the effect, business actors get large profits due to increasingly sophisticated information technology. The influence of globalization can encourage large companies to innovate their businesses and be able to integrate in the global market.

Import substitution industrialization (ISI) is one of the industrial development strategies that has been implemented by many developing countries, including Indonesia. This strategy aims to reduce dependence on imported consumer and capital goods, as well as create jobs and increase domestic value added. In the early stages of its implementation, ISI has successfully driven industrial growth in Indonesia. However, along with technological development and global competition, ISI faces various challenges, one of which is competition from industries in other countries. Industrial competition is one of the important factors that affects industrial development. Healthy competition can encourage industries to innovate and improve efficiency, making them more competitive in the global market. This paper discusses the relationship between ISI and industrial competition in industrial development. This paper also discusses various policies that can be implemented to improve the competitiveness of Indonesian industries.

The use of social media as an educational marketing tool provides a unique opportunity to interact directly with prospective students, build brand awareness, and promote university excellence. Education marketing is a strategic approach in managing information and image of educational institutions to attract new students. This research aims to describe an overview of the management of educational marketing strategies using social media at Primagraha University. This type of research uses Field Research. The research uses qualitative methods with data collection techniques carried out through interviews, documentation and social media content analysis. The most effective social media used in the educational marketing process include 3, namely: Instagram, YouTube, and websites. The content presented is in the form of academic activities, promotions, information regarding new student admissions, campus activities, and student achievements. The research results show that implementing marketing strategies using social media has a very good impact on the interest of new students.

Strengthening MSMEs in the face of globalization and intense competition means being able to respond to global challenges such as increasing product and service innovation. Consumers' willingness to buy and interest in products sold by MSMEs is increasing. The aim of this research is to determine the effectiveness of Durian Woke MSME product promotion on Instagram media. The effectiveness of advertising actions is measured using the AIDA concept (Attention, Interest, Desire, Action). The research sample consisted of 53 people with active Instagram accounts who followed the Durian Woke Instagram account in the food sector which advertises on Instagram media. The data collection method uses a questionnaire as respondent data. The research results show that the effectiveness of Instagram social media as an advertising medium is beneficial for Durian Woke MSMEs in stimulating consumer interest in finding out about available products.

The research used is a descriptive qualitative approach, namely an explanatory data analysis and information related to the theories that will be analyzed in qualitative research and provides conclusions from this research. The subject of this research is UMKM Cireng Tijang. Data collection techniques used were library research, observation, interviews and documentation, the data sources used were primary data and secondary data, and data analysis consisted of inductive techniques, deductive techniques and conclusion drawing. The research results obtained regarding Strategic Management Analysis in Facing Business Competition using a Cost Advantage Strategy, where a cost advantage strategy can be carried out by providing high quality products to customers or innovating the products offered to optimally retain customers.

This research is motivated by widespread business networks in the business world and raises fierce business competition. To respond to this, the author conducted a business network research conducted by MSMEs Yoi Milk. The objectives that must be achieved in this study include: (1)  to find out what the founders of Yoi Milk did to build their business network. (2) to find out how marketing is done by Yoi Milk. (3) to find out how the financial management is carried out by Yoi Milk in order to get profits in accordance with what the business wants. This research was conducted directly by the founder of Yoi Milk. This research seeks business networks carried out by Yoi Milk business entrepreneurs to decide on product development starting from marketing carried out to products marketed to consumers. This research uses qualitative methods, one of which is interviewing Yoi Milk business actors about marketing, sales, and financial management carried out for profit.

With the increasing era of globalization today, competition in the industrial sector is becoming increasingly fierce and competitive. With the development of modern technology for the better but on the other hand raises problems for the environment. Every business actor who wants to win the competition must pay full attention to the quality of the products or services produced, at a low cost, the right time and quantity, and safe conditions. This study aims to analyze and reduce waste of packaging waste at PT XYZ, a manufacturing company engaged in the manufacture of medicines and vaccines. In the last 7 months, there were 1,906 pcs of defective packaging out of a total of 204,940 pcs used. The defects were caused by mold, misprinted information, faded colors, and lack of glue on the packaging. The methods used in this research are Pareto diagram and fishbone diagram. Pareto diagrams are used to identify dominant product defects, while fishbone diagrams are used to identify the causes of defects. It is expected that the results of this research can help PT XYZ reduce packaging waste and improve the quality of their products. By reducing packaging waste, PT XYZ can also contribute to reducing negative impacts on the environment.

Trade is an activity of exchanging goods and services based on mutual agreement without any element of coercion. Import and export activities are economic activities that cannot be separated from trade and are a unity that can encourage the improvement and growth of the economy in a country. The purpose of this research is to focus on the effect of import-export on economic growth, the evaluation of the contribution of Customs, and the role of international trade supervision. Customs or customs authorities in Indonesia, known as Customs and Excise, are the gateway to international trade. Customs manages state finances and implements state revenue through import duties and excise. The results of this study show that Indonesia's economic growth is influenced by global economic growth. In the first quarter of 2023, export activity weakened with the moderation of international commodity prices which supported the exports of North Sumatra Province. Export performance in North Sumatra grew 2.45% (yoy), lower than the previous quarter which amounted to 9.77% (yoy). Export activities in Indonesia are one of the efforts made by the government to follow the development of industrialization every year. Competition between products in foreign markets depends on price, quality, and quality of goods are important factors in competing in export activities.

The development of the business world has increased rapidly in the modern era like today. This causes intense competition between business actors in developing their products in the face of developments in the business world. Micro, small and medium enterprises or MSMEs now play a very important role in the growth of the economy in Indonesia. Mrs. Maubah's porridge business is one of the MSMEs in Cilegon City, Banten which operates in the food sector. This business can provide jobs for the local community. My mother's porridge business itself is a type of food business which sells various variations of porridge and various other fried foods. This research aims to find out what marketing strategies are implemented by Ibu Majadi's porridge business to increase sales. Carrying out a SWOT (Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, and Threat) analysis in determining the marketing strategy. This research is included in qualitative descriptive research, because it aims to describe the situation of phenomena in the field. Researchers used data collection methods in research, namely observation and interviews. To find out how the strategy is used, the Swot Analysis Method (Strength, Weakness, Opportunity and Threat). From the results of the SWOT analysis, it was concluded that the results of the IFAS (Internal Factor Analysis Summary), for the strength and weakness variables, each obtained a strength value of 1.89, while a value of 1.00 was obtained for weaknesses. This means that the strengths of Mrs. Matahu's porridge business are greater than the weaknesses. Meanwhile, the value obtained for the EFAS (External Factor Analysis Strategy) Matrix was 1.47 for opportunities, while the value for threats was 0.64. This means that for Mrs. Matahu's porridge business, the opportunity value is greater than the threat value. From the results of the SWOT analysis, it was found that Ibu Ma's porridge business has strengths and opportunities so that it will be able to take advantage of existing opportunities. The strategy that must be implemented in this condition is to support the policy of growing aggression.
