Village governance plays an important role in supporting the effectiveness of development planning and improving community welfare. This study aims to analyze financial management governance and the process of preparing the Village Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBKal) in Kalurahan Poncosari, Bantul Regency, for the 2025 fiscal year. This research employs a qualitative approach using a case study method, involving in-depth interviews with key informants and documentation analysis of relevant regulations and financial reports. The results show that financial management in Kalurahan Poncosari has been implemented systematically through the stages of planning, implementation, administration, reporting, and accountability in accordance with applicable regulations. The planning process is conducted in a participatory manner through tiered community deliberations, such as hamlet-level deliberations and village development planning deliberations, involving residents. In addition, the use of digital systems such as E-RAB and Siskeudes supports transparency and administrative order. However, challenges remain, including limited budget flexibility due to mandatory programs from central and regional governments, limited human resource capacity, and shifts in community participation patterns. In conclusion, the governance of APBKal in Kalurahan Poncosari demonstrates compliance and accountability; however, improvements in administrative capacity and fiscal flexibility are needed to better respond to community needs.

This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of the implementation of the staple food assistance program in Tapadaka Satu Village, Dumoga Tenggara Sub-district, Bolaang Mongondow Regency, Sulawesi Utara Province. The main sub-focus of this research includes five aspects of effectiveness measurement proposed by Sutrisno (2018), namely: (1) program understanding, (2) target accuracy, (3) timeliness, (4) achievement of objectives, and (5) real change. This research employs a qualitative, descriptive research approach. Data collection techniques include interviews, observation, and documentation. The results indicate that the implementation of the staple food assistance program in Tapadaka Satu Village has not been fully effective. In terms of program understanding, socialization has been conducted by the Social Affairs Office and village government, but some beneficiary families still do not fully understand the program’s mechanisms, rights, and obligations. In target accuracy, discrepancies in beneficiary data persist due to changing socio-economic conditions and the suboptimal updating of DTSEN data. In timeliness, assistance distribution generally follows the mechanism, but delays in fund disbursement still occur. In achieving objectives, the program helps reduce beneficiary families’ food expenditure burden, although delays affect results. Lastly, real change remains limited, short-term, and has not significantly improved community welfare.

The agricultural sector plays a strategic role in meeting food needs while maintaining environmental sustainability and community welfare. However, conventional farming practices that rely on chemical inputs have caused various problems, such as soil degradation, loss of biodiversity, and environmental pollution. This condition has encouraged the adoption of the Sustainable Agriculture concept, which emphasizes a balance between ecological, economic, and social aspects. Its successful implementation is strongly influenced by farmers’ perceptions as the main actors. This study aims to analyze rice farmers’ perceptions of the implementation of Sustainable Agriculture in swampy areas of Tebas District, Sambas Regency. The research was conducted from October to November 2025 using a survey method involving 95 farmers selected through the Slovin formula and proportional random sampling technique. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and Likert-scale questionnaires, and analyzed using descriptive analysis and binary logistic regression. The results show that farmers’ perceptions are generally positive, particularly regarding water management, variety selection, and cropping patterns. However, the use of organic fertilizers, environmentally friendly pest control, and post-harvest management are still considered difficult. Education level and non-farming occupations significantly influence farmers’ perceptions. Therefore, enhancing extension services, training, and support for business diversification is necessary to promote the adoption of Sustainable Agriculture.

Economic development in rural areas, specifically, aims to improve community welfare. However, in practice, many challenges remain, such as limited technical skills, minimal innovation, and low community capacity to create and develop productive businesses. One way to address these challenges is through human resource empowerment. Gunung Tinggi Village has the potential to develop creative businesses, particularly among housewives, such as dishwashing soap. This product is a household necessity that is used routinely, so demand tends to be sustainable. Therefore, a SWOT analysis was used to provide sustainability recommendations for this business. The methods used included service learning (SL) with a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach to ensure active participant involvement and the program's alignment with the community's real needs. The results showed that the initial impact of this Community Service Program (PKM) activity was evident in the production of marketable products and the opening of new business opportunities, which directly contributed to the diversification of income sources and increased family economic independence. Furthermore, the application of SWOT analysis proved effective as a tool in formulating sustainability strategies for the micro-enterprises being developed.

This study aims to examine the effect of microcredit on the level of community welfare in Kecamatan Sumbawa, with study locations in Kelurahan Pekat and Brang Bara. Microcredit is positioned as one of the strategic instruments in efforts to empower the economy of low-income communities, especially through increasing access to financing, income generation, and social welfare. This research uses a quantitative approach with Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method based on Partial Least Square (PLS). The study population consisted of 100 micro-entrepreneurs in the two villages who had received microcredit from local financial institutions. The variables analyzed include ease of credit access (X1), credit repayment (X2), income (Y), and community welfare (Z) which acts as a mediating variable. The results of the analysis show that easy access to microcredit does not have a significant effect on income or community welfare. In contrast, the variable of microcredit repayment has a positive and significant effect on community welfare. In addition, income also has a positive and significant influence on welfare, indicating that an increase in income is a key factor in determining the economic and social welfare of microcredit recipient households. This finding confirms that the success of the microcredit program is more influenced by the effectiveness of the management and sustainability of the credit repayment system, rather than solely by the ease of access to financing.

This student aims to determine how BPNT contributes community in Sipatana District, Gorontalo City. Method used is qualitative findings show that the implementation of BPNT in Sipatana District, particularly in Molosipat U and Tanggikiki sub-districts, has been carried out in accordance with the statutory regulations of 2019 regarding the indicators of power distribution and actor strategies, without any personal intervention in determining beneficiary eligibility. Regarding the characteristics of the implementing institutions, coordination among agencies from the district level to RT/RW has run well and has been conducted transparently and participatively to ensure that the assistance is well-targeted. However, on the indicators of implementer compliance and responsiveness, several obstacles are still found such as delays in disbursement, a lack of direct socialization to the community, and slow responses from the sub-district office in handling complaints from beneficiary families (KPM). These conditions lead to a lack of optimal understanding among beneficiaries regarding the mechanism of aid distribution. Additionally, the impact of BPNT on improving beneficiary welfare remains consumptive in nature and has not fully encouraged economic independence among poor households. Therefore, improvements in service effectiveness, two-way communication, and periodic evaluation are required to enhance BPNT’s contribution in reducing poverty rates and achieving sustainable community welfare.

This research aims to identify the personal branding strategy implemented by Nusaibah Jazuli, a PKS faction member of the South Tangerang City Regional People's Representative Council (DPRD), in building a positive image during the 2024 Election campaign. The advancement of social media has transformed how politicians build and manage their self-image, making a strong personal brand a crucial tool for young politicians to achieve credibility and differentiation amid fierce competition. Employing a qualitative descriptive method, the study analyzes Nusaibah's approach using the Personal Branding Pyramid framework (determine who you are, determine what you do, position yourself, and manage your brand). The findings indicate that this strategy successfully built her reputation and credibility. This success is underpinned by the "Determine Who You Are" commitment, exemplified by donating her entire salary to community welfare. The "Determine What You Do" strategy is reinforced by tangible actions, including distributing 1,000 basic necessity packages and advocating for school bus services. Furthermore, she applied "Position Yourself" as a humble, people-oriented leader who is highly responsive to citizens' concerns, presenting herself as an equal to the community. Finally, "Manage Your Brand" involves consistent and continuous image maintenance. Overall, Nusaibah's ability to engage in relatable political communication successfully won public support and enhanced her reputation.

Baitul Maal wat Tamwil (BMT) is an Islamic microfinance institution that plays an essential role in expanding financial access for low-income communities and supporting sustainable economic development. This article aims to analyze the role of BMT as an inclusive monetary instrument within the framework of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The study employs a library research approach with descriptive-analytical methods based on secondary data from books, academic journals, research reports, and official documents. The findings show that BMT significantly contributes to financial inclusion through real-sector-based Islamic financing, especially for micro-enterprises and low-income households. Moreover, BMT’s social function—realized through the management of zakat, infaq, and sadaqah—strengthens income redistribution, poverty alleviation, and community welfare. BMT supports several SDG targets, particularly in reducing poverty, creating decent employment, developing MSMEs, and minimizing socioeconomic inequality. However, the optimization of BMT’s role still faces challenges such as limited capital, governance constraints, digital transformation, and institutional strengthening. Therefore, synergy between BMT, the government, regulators, and the community is needed to enhance BMT’s contribution as an inclusive, sustainable, and Sharia-compliant economic development agent.

Wonogiri Regency in Central Java Province has great potential for sustainable tourism development, particularly through the integration of nature and religious tourism. This study aims to analyze the development strategy of the Watu Cenik Tomb in Sendang Village as a pilgrimage destination, which involves the historical value of the tomb of the Kyai Solo Sumarto IX family, the natural landscape of the Gajah Mungkur Reservoir, and cultural traditions such as Grebeg Syawalan. Using Richard Butler's Sustainable Tourism theory with the Tourism Area Life Cycle (TALC) model, this study applies a descriptive qualitative method through intensive interviews, observations, and documentation of stakeholders such as tourism managers, local communities, and tourists. The results of the study show that Watu Cenik has the potential to be an attractive pilgrimage destination, but its appeal is not yet optimal, with visits limited to private pilgrimages and the local community. The efforts of BUMDes Sendang Pinilih, such as the construction of homestays, shuttle services, and social media promotion, have increased visitor numbers, but additional facilities such as souvenir kiosks, local culinary offerings, photo spots, tour guides, and infrastructure improvements are still needed to attract more visitors and support the creative economy. The research conclusion emphasizes the importance of intensive digital promotion, integrated tour packages, and stakeholder collaboration to realize sustainable tourism that preserves cultural heritage while improving community welfare. Suggestions for further research include integrating mixed methods with quantitative analysis to measure economic impact and comparisons with similar destinations.

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a strategic role in supporting regional economic growth, job creation, and equitable distribution of community welfare. In Cilegon City, MSMEs are growing rapidly in various sectors, but still face a number of fundamental challenges. The main problems faced include limited access to capital, low utilization of digital technology in business activities, limited managerial capacity, and less than optimal regulatory support oriented towards strengthening MSMEs. These conditions cause the competitiveness of MSMEs to be relatively weak compared to the large business sector, so that their contribution to the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) of Cilegon City is not optimal. This study aims to analyze policy strategies that can support the development of MSMEs in Cilegon City through a descriptive qualitative approach. The method used is a literature study and policy analysis by examining regulations, local government policies, and relevant previous research results. The analysis results show that there are several strategies that can be implemented, including: strengthening regulations and policies that favor MSMEs, expanding access to financing through collaboration with financial and banking institutions, developing human resource capacity through entrepreneurship and business management training, utilizing digital technology to expand market access, and building synergies between local governments, the private sector, and other supporting institutions. The implementation of these strategies is expected to increase the competitiveness of MSMEs, expand marketing networks, and encourage MSMEs to be more adaptive to technological developments and market needs. Thus, MSMEs in Cilegon City can make a more significant contribution to regional economic growth, create new jobs, and support sustainable economic development.

This study employs a qualitative library research method with the primary objective of analyzing the effectiveness of development administration in the management of regional budgets to support local economic development. Development administration is a crucial component in the governance process, encompassing the planning, organizing, directing, and supervising of budget utilization to ensure that resources are allocated in a targeted, efficient, and sustainable manner. Within the context of local governments, the effectiveness of budget management is considered a key indicator of the success of regional development, as it directly reflects the ability of local authorities to implement policies that foster equitable and inclusive growth. The data for this study were obtained from various scientific literature sources, including academic journals, textbooks, and relevant government policy documents addressing budgeting and regional development. The findings of the analysis highlight that successful budget management is strongly influenced by bureaucratic capacity, particularly in terms of administrative competence, professional integrity, and institutional stability. Furthermore, transparency in budget planning processes plays a significant role in building public trust and preventing misallocation of resources. Equally important is the participation of the community in monitoring and evaluating budget implementation, which ensures accountability and responsiveness to public needs. In addition, synergy between legislative and executive bodies is identified as a determining factor in strengthening checks and balances, thereby enhancing the accountability of public fund management. The study concludes that effective development administration not only supports efficient allocation of financial resources but also contributes to accelerating local economic growth, reducing social inequality, and improving community welfare. Ultimately, this research is expected to provide valuable insights and serve as a reference for local governments in formulating strategies for more optimal, transparent, and participatory budget management practices

Amal Madani Indonesia (AMI) is a zakat philanthropic institution based in Cimahi, West Java, with a vision to empower communities through professional, transparent, and accountable management of zakat, infaq, and alms (ZIS) funds. As a zakat institution, AMI focuses not only on the collection and distribution of funds but also emphasizes the importance of good governance so that the collected funds can have a real impact on improving community welfare. This study aims to analyze AMI's contribution to improving community economic empowerment, evaluate the efficiency of zakat distribution, and examine the practice of Islamic philanthropic governance in the Cimahi region. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques through field observations, documentation studies, and in-depth interviews with administrators and beneficiaries. The results show that AMI has a significant role in encouraging the socio-economic development of the surrounding community. The programs implemented are not only oriented towards distributing consumer assistance, but also focus on sustainable empowerment, for example through entrepreneurship training, mentoring micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), providing access to capital, and providing educational scholarships for children from underprivileged families. This strategy demonstrates that AMI is striving to shift the paradigm of zakat from merely a means of distributing welfare to an instrument for the economic development of the community. However, research also found several obstacles faced, including the program's distribution reach which is still limited to certain areas, limited human resources in managing empowerment programs, and low levels of zakat literacy among the community. The low understanding of some communities regarding the obligation of zakat has an impact on the potential for zakat collection that is not optimal. Therefore, efforts are needed to improve zakat education, optimize digital technology in collection and distribution, and strengthen collaboration with various parties, both government and the private sector.

Mount Kerinci is one of Indonesia’s premier climbing tourist destinations, attracting a growing number of visitors each year. This rapid increase in tourism has brought about significant ecological and social pressures on the surrounding environment and communities. Kersik Tuo Village, serving as the primary gateway to the hiking trail, holds a pivotal role in managing these pressures through sustainable tourism practices. This study aims to analyze the role of the Kersik Tuo Village Government in advancing sustainable tourism development using a qualitative descriptive approach, guided by William N. Dunn's program evaluation framework. The framework assesses five key criteria: effectiveness, efficiency, adequacy, equity, and responsiveness. Findings indicate that the village government has implemented several important initiatives, such as developing basic infrastructure, conducting human resource training, running environmental awareness campaigns, and collaborating with the village-owned enterprise (BUMDes) to boost local economic development. Despite these positive steps, significant challenges persist. Waste accumulation above 3,000 meters remains a critical environmental concern, alongside widespread illegal climbing activities that threaten the conservation area. Economic benefits are unevenly distributed among community members, and village officials face limitations in technical capacity, hindering effective management. While the government shows good responsiveness to environmental issues, its efforts fall short in addressing social conflicts and systematic trail monitoring. To address these gaps, the study recommends strengthening institutional frameworks, enhancing coordination among all tourism stakeholders, establishing preventive monitoring systems for trails, and promoting inclusive economic empowerment. These combined efforts are essential to foster equitable, participatory, and sustainable governance for climbing tourism within the Mount Kerinci conservation area, ensuring long-term preservation and community welfare.

This study employed qualitative methods with primary and secondary data sources. Primary data were obtained through interviews, while secondary data were obtained from important documentation of the Mutiara Welirang Village-Owned Enterprise (BUMDes). Data analysis was conducted using descriptive qualitative methods to obtain a comprehensive picture of the BUMDes' contribution to community welfare. The results of the study indicate that the Mutiara Welirang BUMDes plays an active role in improving the welfare of the Ketapanrame Village community through various services. These services include clean water management, environmental cleanliness management, interest-free loans, stall and kiosk rentals, and tourist attraction management. These various services are considered to have a positive impact on the social and economic conditions of the village community. An Islamic Economics review of the BUMDes' contribution indicates its alignment with Islamic economic principles. The activities carried out are mutually beneficial and align with Islamic values and welfare indicators in the maqashid sharia. This reflects the application of the values of justice, balance, and sustainability in village economic practices. The implications of these findings suggest that the Mutiara Welirang BUMDes can continue to maintain its positive performance and continuously improve the quality of its services. This effort is crucial to ensure the benefits are felt more widely by the community and to further strengthen the role of BUMDes as a driver of village economic development based on Islamic values.

Tourism is a sector strategy in encouraging regional economic growth, cultural preservation, and improving community welfare. Binjai City, as one of the buffer areas of Medan Metropolitan, has a number of areas that have the potential to be developed into leading tourist destinations. However, un-til now there has been no directed and integrated development strategy for areas that have this potential. This research aims to identify and analyze the potential for the development of leading tourist areas in Binjai City through the Mixed Methods approach, which is a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods. The focus of the study is directed at three strategic areas, namely Taman Merdeka Binjai, the Binjai Grand Mosque Area, and the Jalan Veteran Culinary Village, which have strong historical, so-cio-cultural, and local economic potential but have not been optimally exploited.Data was collected through a survey of 150 respondents consisting of tourists, MSME actors, local communities, and government officials, as well as in-depth interviews with 12 key informants. The re-sults of the quantitative analysis showed that the attractiveness of the area and community support re-ceived the highest score in respondents' perception, while infrastructure and the use of digital technolo-gy are aspects that still require special attention. Qualitative analysis supports these findings, where vari-ous technical and institutional constraints are still found that hinder sustainable development. The results of data integration show that the potential for the development of leading tourist areas in Binjai City is quite high in terms of location, cultural value, and support from the local community. However, to realize a competitive region, strategic interventions are needed in the form of improving the quality of infrastructure, digitizing promotions, and collaboration between sectors. Policy recommenda-tions are filled with institutional capacity strengthening, community empowerment, and the establish-ment of tourism development programs based on local and sustainable potential.
