Social media is not only a means of communication, but also influences the thinking patterns, behavior and social interactions of the younger generation. Thus, a deep understanding of the influence of social media on the character of today's youth is very important in the context of social and cultural development. This journal investigates the impact of social media use on youth character in the contemporary era. This research uses quantitative and qualitative methods to analyze the behavior, values, and self-perceptions of young people who are influenced by their interactions on social media platforms. The results show that intense exposure to social media can influence character formation, both positively and negatively. The psychological and social implications of social media use in today's youth are the main focus in this journal, providing in-depth insight into the role of social media in shaping the identity and character of the younger generation.

Abstract. Language is a central part of human intelligence, it is important for us to understand how and when language is mastered as well as the social cognitive and neurological facts that influence language development at an early age.  Language is a symbol system that is an important means of communication, even though we cannot communicate in other ways such as gestures, postures or facial expressions, language is our most flexible method of communication.  Language allows us to describe the past and make plans for the future.  Language allows us to convey traditional ideas and values to the next generation, thus language is of the most important cultural and social importance.  Research using this method is carried out by comparing research methods, processing methods, and the results obtained from each article.  The research source comes from articles obtained via the internet in the form of research articles discussing infancy development.The research results show.  Speaking is a means of communication to be able to communicate with other people, all individuals must be able to master two different functions, the ability to grasp the meaning that other people want to communicate and the ability to communicate with other people in such a way that they can be understood.  Early social experiences play an important role in determining future social relationships and patterns of behavior toward others.  Learning to behave in a moral manner that is accepted by those around you is a long and slow process.  But the basics are laid in infancy and it is based on these basics that babies develop moral codes that guide their behavior when they grow up.

Humans are individual creatures and social creatures. Thus, human life activities will always be accompanied by a process of interaction or communication, whether interaction with the natural environment, interaction with fellow individuals, or interaction between teachers and students, whether intentional or unintentional (Sardiman, 2004). The method used in this research is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. This method is used because this research aims to describe interaction patterns in learning as they are. The researcher is the key instrument for combined data collection techniques, data analysis is qualitative, and the results of qualitative research emphasize meaning rather than general conclusions from an event. The data results are in accordance with the research objectives, namely in the form of one-way interaction patterns, two-way interaction patterns, and multi-way interaction patterns used in learning to write poetry. The results obtained from each of these data are (1) one-way interaction patterns (5 data), (2) two-way interaction patterns (6 data), and (3) multi-way interaction patterns (3 data). Based on these findings, it can be concluded that one-way interaction patterns and two-way interaction patterns are the interaction patterns most widely used between teachers and class VIII students in learning to write descriptive text.

The impact of social media on economic changes in society can be seen from various aspects. Social media has had a significant impact especially in consumer behavior, marketing and business interactions. Apart from that, social media also influences people's social and economic behavior patterns, such as adapting to new habits, communication patterns, and creating a digital entrepreneurial ecosystem. Social media also has positive impacts, such as making interaction easier, expanding reach, and obtaining information at lower costs. However, there are also negative impacts, such as decreased face-to-face interaction, potential for addiction, conflict, and privacy issues. The use of social media has also initiated changes in social and economic behavior, for example in the case of farmers switching to the agrotourism sector due to social media activities, as well as influencing the presence of agrotourism and collaboration with outside parties. Thus, it can be concluded that social media has a significant role in shaping social and economic change in society, both in positive and negative terms.

Bullying is repeated aggressive behavior by society towards a person which results in victims. Bullying also often occurs, especially among school children. Factors that cause bullying behavior in society or at school include personality factors, interpersonal communication between children and their parents (parenting patterns), the role of peer groups and school climate. This research is descriptive research, aiming to determine the factors that cause bullying behavior in society, especially what often occurs among school children

In general, this research aims to find out how young married couples communicate in maintaining household harmony in Tobing Julu village, Huristak sub-district, Padang Lawas district, what are the factors that cause young marriages in Tobing Julu village, Huristak sub-district, Padang Lawas district, how do young married couples behave? in resolving conflicts that occur within households in Tobing Julu village, Huristak sub-district, Padang Lawas district. This type of research uses qualitative methods through a descriptive approach which aims to describe information in detail according to the reality that occurs at the research location. Data was obtained through observation and interviews. Data analysis for this research uses a version of the Miles and Hermawan data model which includes data collection, data reduction, data display and conclusion drawing/verification. The results of the research show that the factors causing young marriages in Tobing Julu village, Huristak sub-district, Padang Lawas district are economic, parents and their own will, the communication patterns used by young married couples in maintaining household harmony in Tobing Julu village, Huristak sub-district, Padang Lawas district are cooperative communication patterns and defensive communication patterns and the way young married couples resolve conflicts in Tobing Julu village, Huristak sub-district, Padang Lawas district, is to communicate well, be open to each other, lower the ego of each partner and accept all forms of the partner's strengths and weaknesses.

Social distancing as a measure to prevent the spread of disease has significantly changed the paradigm of social interaction in society. The impact is visible in various aspects of daily life, including interpersonal relationships, social activities, and community dynamics. This research discusses the impact of social distancing on social interactions in society. First, social distancing practices change the way individuals communicate. Physical restrictions have caused a shift from face-to-face interactions to virtual interactions via digital platforms. Although technology has made connectivity possible, some people have difficulty expressing emotions and building deep relationships in virtual environments. Second, social distancing also affects people's social life. Social events which are usually places for meetings and cultural exchanges have had to be canceled or adjusted to comply with health protocol regulations. This can cause a breakdown in social ties and a lack of sense of solidarity among community members. Apart from that, the economic impact can also be felt socially. Restrictions on economic activities result in reduced incomes and increased uncertainty, which can trigger stress and tension in social relationships. Economically vulnerable groups of society suffer more from these restrictions. In this context, it is important for society to find new ways to establish and maintain healthy social relationships. Strengthening virtual communication, innovation in social activities, and mental support are the keys to overcoming the negative impact of social distancing on social interactions in society. Adopting a qualitative approach, this research involves in-depth interviews, participant observation, and social media content analysis to understand changes in interaction patterns as social distancing is implemented. Key findings include paradigm shifts in forms of social interaction, psychological impacts on individuals, and adaptation strategies used by society to maintain connectivity. The results of this research provide in-depth insight into the dynamics of social change amidst the pandemic, providing a basis for formulating better policies in dealing with similar situations in the future. By documenting people's experiences, this research has the potential to contribute to our collective understanding of social adaptation during crises in society.

Cultural identity which is formed in life within a society can also influence the self-perception of each member within a society. Cultural identity in a context of social change is also a symptom where there is a social structural change in cultural patterns in a society with social changes which can cause a culture in Indonesia to experience a change in it. Cultural identity is also a characteristic which can connect a communication system, but with social change itself it can also make the change occur due to an essence or basic human nature of that society.

This research is in-depth about the crucial role of communication in rebuilding and maintaining the solidarity of the Karang Taruna organization in Kedung Kampil Village Rw.04, Porong District, Sidoarjo Regency, after experiencing a period of hiatus from 2015 to 2019. The focus of the research is aimed at the efforts of Ahmad Syafi'udin, The chairman of Karang Taruna, in approaching village youth, forms a clear organizational structure and establishes effective communication. The success of this organization in 2019 reflects the positive impact of establishing a good structure, increasing village youth participation, and implementing various programs, including regular flights every Friday, building sports facilities, commemorating the Republic of Indonesia's Independence Day, and utilizing YouTube social media. The importance of the role of communication in maintaining solidarity is the main highlight, with this research trying to provide an understanding to Karang Taruna members about the significance of communication in developing a better organization. Analysis of communication patterns implemented by the Karang Taruna organization in Kedung Kampil Village is the focus for answering the research problem formulation. In responding to challenges, this organization adopted a revitalization strategy through efforts to increase internal and external communication, improve organizational structure, and design more measurable work programs. In addition, this research discusses the impact of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 on the global business ecosystem, with an emphasis on data technology. The structural transformation of organizations, the application of artificial intelligence, and changes in the paradigm of global business interactions are the central points. The research conclusions show that a deep understanding of these changes is the key to ensuring business sustainability and competitiveness in the era of Industrial Revolution 4.0. In recommendations, the study advises companies to invest in human resources skilled in data technology and artificial intelligence and strengthen cross-border partnerships to face challenges and exploit emerging opportunities

Telecomunications plays in important role in everyday life, and signal crisis is a major challenge in many parts of Indonesia. This study aims to create a detailed map of areas effected by the signal and  internet traffic crisis using a Geographic Information System (GIS) based approach. The study includes data collection of communication signals and their determinations from various regions, providing a comprehensive picture of the network situation in Indonesia. A GIS analysis approach was used to create a map of the distribution of signal crisis areas, allowing the identification of spatial patterns that may be the root cause of this problem. The study focused on the geographical structure, signal interference and mobile internet data usage in each household as factors to consider when investigating the causal factors. The results show that there is a significant relationship between certain factors and crisis signaling. An in-depth understanding of the spatial data and causes of the signaling crisis is the basis for developing more effective improvement strategies. The practical implications of this study include recommendations for improved telecommunications infrastructure and better mitigation strategies. Therefore, this study not only presents the problem but also provides detailed insights to guide policies and measures needed to improve the quality of telecommunication services in Indonesia.

This community service program was motivated by the suboptimal development of agribusiness partnership patterns among farmer groups assisted by the Agricultural Extension Center (BPP) of East Dumai District, Dumai City, which has resulted in low productivity, limited value added, and weak bargaining power of farmers. The program aimed to enhance farmers’ understanding, capacity, and readiness to develop sustainable agribusiness partnership strategies. The method applied was a community organizing approach through counseling, participatory discussions, and mentoring involving five farmer groups with a total of 15 farmers. The results indicate an improvement in farmers’ understanding of agribusiness partnership concepts and models, a shift in mindset from individual to collective group-based farming, and the emergence of initial agreements to develop simple partnership schemes with local agribusiness actors. In addition, farmers showed increased readiness in managerial aspects, product quality improvement, and communication with potential partners. This program contributes to strengthening farmer group institutions and provides a foundation for developing more structured and sustainable agribusiness partnerships.

A shift in the role of living by the head of the family or a husband is replaced by a wife who works as a Women's Working Power (TKW) abroad. It's already happening because of the demands of the family economy. That decision affects the relationship and distance communication of the couple. Although the progress of communication technology is so rapid as the media is the point of the problem is to manage communication and relationships to stay harmonious. The research study was conducted out at the Bulugunung village, district of Plaosan, Magetan. The research methodology used is field research applying qualitative research methods. Qualitative methods produce descriptive data with data collection techniques such as observations and interviews. The results that follow are the study’s conclusion. (1) The condition of couples with long-distance marriages in communicating, (2) the way the couples take advantage of the supporting and hindering factors of distance communication, and (3) the distance interpersonal communication patterns between spouses inining distance marital relationships. Collaboration and mutual trust are the key to the harmony of relationships and communication of distant married couples.

Education plays a central role in community development and the enhancement of human resources. In the rapidly evolving digital era, information and communication technology has significantly transformed the education landscape. Technology has become an integral part of the teaching and learning process in schools, bringing both challenges and significant opportunities. Particularly at the Junior High School (SMP) level, subjects like Mathematics, Natural Sciences (IPA), Physics, and Chemistry play a central role in shaping students' foundational knowledge. However, students often have varying levels of understanding and different learning styles. This poses a challenge for teachers trying to meet the diverse learning needs of their students. The use of the same linear teaching methods for all students is often ineffective in such a context. In this research, we employed a literature review methodology. This approach helps summarize and synthesize existing knowledge on the role of technology in enhancing student motivation in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) education. By analyzing trends, findings, and patterns emerging from related literature, we can establish a strong knowledge base for this research. The adaptive learning approach, leveraging technology, has emerged as an intriguing solution. This approach allows for real-time analysis of student learning data and the adjustment of content, material, or teaching methods to suit individual needs. The research highlights the primary benefits of adaptive learning, such as personalized content adjustment, enhanced student motivation, more efficient monitoring and evaluation, and time savings in achieving better understanding. However, the research also acknowledges several challenges, including uneven technology infrastructure, the need for teacher training, and student data protection. Nevertheless, this research emphasizes the importance of adaptive learning in the context of STEM education at the SMP level in the digital era, while recognizing the need for further research to explore the potential of technology in enhancing the quality of education at this level.  

This study aims to investigate the impact of media relations strategy, internal organizational relations, and reward & punishment strategy on company performance. Employing a qualitative approach, the research utilizes in-depth interviews and document analysis as primary data collection techniques. A purposive sampling method is employed to select participants from various organizational levels within the target companies. Data analysis involves thematic coding and constant comparison to identify patterns and relationships among the variables. Preliminary findings suggest that an integrated approach to media relations, fostering positive internal organizational relationships, and implementing balanced reward & punishment systems positively influence company performance. The study contributes to the understanding of how strategic communication and organizational dynamics intersect to shape organizational outcomes.

The research aims to determine the Ar-Risala Da'wah Communication Pattern in the Development of the Akit Tribe Converting Community in Sungai Upih Village, Kuala Kampar District, Pelalawan Regency. This research method uses a qualitative research approach, namely by conducting research that produces descriptive data, the research method is by conducting interactive direct observations and explaining according to the data obtained. The results of the research on Ar-Risala Da'wah Communication Patterns in the Development of the Akit Tribe Converted Community in Sungai Upih Village, Kuala Kampar District, Pelalawan Regency which the researchers made based on data that the researchers had obtained from observations, interviews and documentation during the research process. The development of digital technology and social media has driven a major transformation in the study of linguistics, particularly in understanding the evolution of global languages and the emergence of digital dialects. Interactions on platforms such as Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok accelerate the formation of new vocabulary, the use of slang, and the spread of cross-cultural expression. Antony and Tramboo (2023) highlight the digital metamorphosis in language, while Friedrich and De Figueiredo (2016) explain the birth of digital Englishes in a sociolinguistic perspective. Language research challenges on social media have also emerged, such as the limitations of dialect processing (Jørgensen et al., 2015) and the influence of digital linguistic ecology (Klushina, 2022). Advances in natural language processing (NLP) have also strengthened this study. Cambria and White (2014) and Skaria et al. (2024) show the development of NLP from sentiment analysis to its application in education (Khensous et al., 2023) and multilingual text analysis (Agüero-Torales et al., 2021). The systematic review of Sundaram et al. (2023) and Prihatini et al. (2023) reinforces the evidence that social media expands language skills and enriches contemporary discourse, while Sun et al. (2021) show an increasing trend of digital linguistic research through bibliometric analysis, including cultural gaps (Rani & Samjetsabam, 2024). Overall, language not only evolves naturally, but also through human interaction with technology and digital culture. Digital dialects, slang, and online communication patterns are part of the global linguistic evolution that opens up interdisciplinary research opportunities between linguistics, computing, and cultural studies.

The phenomenon of climate change often occurs in certain seasons, causing cyclical changes in climate conditions in an area. In addition, this phenomenon also causes storms, extreme weather and changes in rainfall patterns. Through the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency always provides information related to authentic weather forecasts through a series of public communication activities through @infobmkg Instagram posts. The purpose of this study is to analyze the content of public communication related to weather forecasts through @infobmkg Instagram posts. The research method uses a content analysis approach to describe the content of posts by analyzing them. The results of the study show that BMKG actively posts weather forecast information that is useful for the community. The information received by the community can be used as a reference for indoor or outdoor activities and always be alert to potential storms caused by bad weather.

This study aims to determine the effect of parental communication in the family on students' learning motivation.This type of research is comparative causal. The population in this study were all students in class VI a and b at the Mis Pembangunan Al Muhajirin Medan denai T.A 2022-2023. The samples in this study were class VI A and VI B. Data were obtained by distributing questionnaires directly filled out by students. Data were analyzed descriptively and using the ANOVA technique. Is there an influence of parents' communication patterns on students' learning  motivation at Mis Pembangunan Al Muhajirin Medan Denai?  Is there a positive influence between parents' communication patterns on students' learning motivation at Mis Pembangunan Al Muhajirin Medan Denai? Is there a significant influence between parents' communication patterns on students' learning motivation at Mis Pembangunan Al Muhajirin Medan Denai? Based on the results of the data and discussion, it is obtained:There is an influence of parental communication in the family on the learning motivation of students at the Mis-Development Al-Muhajirin Medan Denai T.A 2022-2023. Through the results of the calculation of the T test that has been carried out, a value of 3.143 is greater than 2.005 with a significant level of 0.01 <0.05 and through the results of the calculation of the F test that has been carried out, a value of 7.097 is greater than 4.020 with a significant level of 0.01 <0.05. From the ???????????????????????????? test it is known that parental communication influences student learning motivation by 0.116 or 11.6%. The remaining 88.4% is influenced by other variables.

Therapeutic communication is communication that has the aim of healing. Down syndrome is a chromosomal abnormality that is inherited from birth. This research aims to determine the process of therapeutic communication, therapeutic communication techniques and barriers to therapeutic communication carried out by parents in shaping the positive character of children with Down syndrome in Kenegerian Teluk Kuantan. The phenomenon raised began with observations made by researchers. This interest arose because of the differences in positive characteristics possessed by Down syndrome children in Kenegerian Teluk Kuantan. The differences in the positive characteristics of children with Down syndrome in Kenegerian Teluk Kuantan, Riau, are a unique and interesting phenomenon to study. Differences in age and parenting patterns of Down syndrome children in Kenegerian Teluk Kuantan can shape the character they have. The similarities they have make them unique. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods. The subjects of this research were 12 people, namely children with Down syndrome, parents or guardians and neighbors around where the children with Down syndrome lived in Kenegerian Teluk Kuantan. Taking place in Kenegerian Teluk Kuantan, Riau. The data collection techniques used in this research were observation, interviews and documentation. This research lasted 7 months starting from September 2022 to February 2023. The results of this research show that therapeutic communication carried out by parents can shape the positive character of children with Down syndrome in terms of their independence. The independence of Down syndrome children in Kenegerian Teluk Kuantan includes politeness towards others, such as being able to say sorry, thank you and please. Independence in taking care of yourself, such as being able to shower yourself, iron your own clothes, wash your own clothes. Can treat others well. Smartphones are the best friends for children with Down syndrome in Kenegerian Teluk Kuantan, Riau. Parenting styles play an important role in the development of children with Down syndrome. The development of Down syndrome children also makes the age difference a benchmark for the independence of Down syndrome children in Kenegerian Teluk Kuantan.

The role of communication is very important for social life, because basically communication is a basic human activity and is a dynamic transactional process that influences behavior. According to communication experts, there are many forms of communication such as interpersonal communication, intrapersonal communication, organizational communication, and others. Based on temporary observations in Talaga Raya District, Central Buton Regency, there are several children with disabilities. These disabled children experience mental retardation, growth and development and speech disabilities, hearing impairments, and physical disabilities, so they are quite slow, making communication less slow, compared to normal children in general. The method used in this research is a qualitative method using a descriptive approach. Their attitudes and behavior are not as cheerful as children in general and they also have difficulty communicating and interacting with other people. From this problem, researchers are interested in researching "Communication Patterns of Mothers and Children with Disabilities in Talaga Raya District, Central Buton Regency." The results of this research are that the communication patterns of mothers and children with disabilities in Talaga Raya District, Central Buton Regency are quite good, although a little passive. in carrying out this communication pattern. Because communication must be done with body language, be patient, speak with a loud voice and slow intonation and speak by repeating words. Apart from that, when a child with a disability is angry if the child's wishes are not followed, the mother must speak patiently because the mother must try to understand what the child means and learn about what the child with a disability wants.
