This article contains an analysis of emotional intelligence in children aged 5 to 10 years, this study aims to find out more about the development of children in their emotional intelligence, which is also related to literacy. Because literacy is an influence on hearing, understanding children's thoughts, and it will affect their emotional intelligence. And the problems in the influence of literacy on children's emotional intelligence include difficulties in controlling emotions, the impact of the social and cultural environment, and limitations in understanding literacy that can hinder emotional development. In addition, the lack of support from parents is also a significant factor. This study uses qualitative methods that can allow researchers to explore children's experiences, views, and feelings in depth. In the context of literacy and emotional intelligence, researchers can find out how children feel and interpret their emotions and how literacy plays a role in the process. Through reading and discussing emotions, children can improve their understanding of themselves and others, develop empathy, and improve communication skills and emotional management. By integrating literacy and emotional intelligence into education and everyday life, we can help children develop the skills needed to interact positively and manage their emotions effectively.

Communication is a process where two or more people form or exchange information with each other. Communication is an important aspect in children's development, especially at the age of 4-5 years. At this age, children experience rapid development in their language and communication skills. However, some children may experience difficulties in communicating, which can hinder their social, emotional and academic development. This research uses a qualitative approach with observation methods with children. The research aims to analyze communication problems in children aged 4-5 years.

Parenting or parenting is a relationship between parents and children who are close and share effective parenting models. Technological advances in the era of globalization have greatly influenced the parenting process which is no longer limited to local culture. Various problems arise related to parenting and communication between parents and children. Interpersonal communication is communication carried out in two directions individually or in groups which elicits responses from both. This research aims to describe the application of digital parenting concepts by parents to children aged 2 -5 years in RT005/RW 007 Gunung Anyar Emas Housing Complex and determine the role of digital parenting in interpersonal communication between parents and children aged 2 -5 years. The method used is qualitative with a descriptive analysis approach. The subjects studied were parents and children aged 2-5 years, totaling 5 people who implemented digital parenting. The research results showed that the application of the digital parenting concept includes: 1) implementing rules and agreements in using gadgets; 2) guiding and accompanying children; 3) use child mode as parental control; 4) balance children's play time. In this way, interpersonal communication between parents and children develops as expected. This means that children's use of gadgets does not have a negative effect. This cannot be separated from the role of parents in caring for children digitally.

Technological developments are growing rapidly in line with the times. Technology is an important need today. This is because early childhood education is for children aged 0-6 years, early childhood education has a very important role in developing children's personalities and preparing children to enter a further level of education because technology is needed for many purposes. Technology is very easy to obtain because some prices are cheap and some are expensive according to the user's economic needs. This research uses descriptive research methods, namely by creating a detailed description of the condition of a subject or object. Gadgets are media that are used as modern communication tools. Gadgets make human communication activities easier. Now communication activities have developed even more advanced with the emergence of gadgets. Excessive use of gadgets will have a negative impact on children's social and emotional development. The bad impacts of using gadgets on children include children becoming closed individuals, sleep disorders, liking to be alone, violent behavior, fading creativity, and the threat of cyberbullying. This research uses a descriptive research method, namely by creating a detailed description of the condition of a subject or object. Descriptive research focuses on solving real problems as they existed at the time the research was conducted. In education, descriptive research works more for practical solutions than for the development of science
