Language is unique and universal. Unique means that every language has the same characteristics that are owned by every language in the world and universal means that it has its own characteristics that are not owned by other languages. This study aims to compare the similarities and differences in meaning found in Chinese proverbs and Indonesian proverbs that use the word "heart". Researchers used a qualitative descriptive research design. The data collection technique was carried out using documentation techniques and the data sources for this research were the Xīnhuá chéngyǔ cídiǎn dictionary and the 7700 Indonesian Proverb Dictionary. The results of this study indicate that there are 10 similar meanings in Chinese proverbs and Indonesian proverbs, such as anxiety, honesty, very close relationships and others. Besides that, there are 28 different meanings in Mandarin proverbs and Indonesian proverbs, such as not concentrating, being loyal, being wise and so on. Most describe the state, feelings, behavior and character of a person.

Chinese betel plant (Peperomia pellucida), an herbal plant belonging to the Piperaceae family, Chinese betel plant (Peperomia pellucida). Research Stages: sample collection, extract preparation, extract standardization, determination of non-specific parameters, phytochemical screening, preparation of test solutions, anti-inflammatory activity tests, treatment of test animals. The results of maceration were filtered using filter paper, then the entire filtrate was concentrated using a vacuum evaporator and water bath at 60℃ to obtain a thick extract. The yield of 96% ethanol extract from Chinese betel powder (Peperomia pellucida) obtained was 4.531%. Based on the results, it has non-specific characteristics, namely drying shrinkage of 9.26%, ash content of 7.9% and water content of 4.15%. Phytochemical screening the compound tested was positive, A dose of 150 mg/kgBB is also an effective dose in inhibiting the formation of edema seen from the effect it gives is stable and has the highest percentage of edema inhibition compared to other doses, which is 34,35%.

Kue keranjang or commonly called Nian Gao is a seasonal cake during Chinese New Year celebrations. Kue Keranjang is a typical Chinese New Year food, its color is brown,  made from glutinous rice flour, water and sugar, and has a chewy and sticky texture. This study aims to determine the organoleptic properties of kue keranjang with the addition of beetroot puree and various raisin fillings including color, flavor, texture, taste, overall product preference level, chemical properties, and production raw material costs so that it can be an alternative business object.This research is a descriptive research. The amount of addition of beetroot puree is 100 grams, and 25 grams of raisins which are formed into 2 layers. Layer 1 added beetroot puree and Layer 2 added raisin filling variations. The data collection method used the observation method through organoleptic tests with a total of 30 panelists and chemical properties tests included protein, carbohydrates, fat, ash, fiber, anthocyanins and antioxidants. Organoleptic test data which includes color, flavor, taste, texture, overall preference level of the product were analyzed using quantitative descriptive with percentage.The results of research on kue keranjang with the addition of beetroot puree and various raisin fillings showed 1) Organoleptic properties of dark red color, it has distinctive flavor of kue keranjang, raisin flavor and no beetroot flavor, sweet, savory taste, raisin taste, and no beetroot taste. The texture is chewy, not mushy, and has a raisin taste and level of preference with liking criteria, 2) Chemical properties per 100 gr show carbohydrates 48.05%, protein 11.60%, fat 9.86%, moisture content 29.10%, ash 1.38%, fiber 1.40%, anthocyanins 21.88 mg, and antioxidants 86.50 mg, 3) The cost of raw materials is known to be IDR 26,900/100 gr.

The aim of this research is to describe how the acculturation of Minangkabau culture influences Chinese ethnicity. Cultural acculturation can occur in all levels of society thanks to intercultural communication in society. This research was conducted in Padang City, Pondok Pondok Village, West Padang District. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive method, which describes research based on a description of the actual situation. Informants were determined using a "purposive sampling technique". In data collection techniques through interviews, observation and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the influence of acculturation of Minangkabau culture on Chinese ethnicity can be demonstrated in ethnic Chinese marriages in Padang City by the practice of throwing turmeric rice. Then the ethnic Chinese of the city of Padang also adhere to the Minangkabau philosophy, namely "Dima Bumi Stepped on, Disina Langik Dijjuang" which means they must be able to adapt to their environment, and the bulek philosophy aia dek pambuluah bulek kato deck mufakat means deliberation and consensus.

The post-reform era became public and government awareness of ethnic Chinese. This is evidenced by President Abdurrahman Wahid's decree to relax ethnic Chinese activities. Because in the Old Order, there was a government policy that was anti-Chinese sentiment. There is even a ban on foreigners to trade in Indonesia, as well as ethnic Chinese who become looting and mob rage, victims of sexual violence and so on. Through this Soe Hok Gie film, it depicts the participation of ethnic Chinese in solving the problem of government authoritarianism and saving Indonesia from the economic crisis. This paper aims to answer the question whether the representations of a number of characters in the animated series Adit dan Sopo Jarwo contain ethnic stereotypes that exist in society. Adit dan Sopo Jarwo animated series depicts a neighborhood in the city of Jakarta by lifting the stories of the daily lives of Indonesian citizens. In it there are many characters with various ethnic backgrounds in Indonesia. Through semiotic analysis, it was revealed that two characters, named Babah Chang and Pak Anas, although in characters are outside the prevailing stereotypes, visually and verbally they still use stereotypes according to the ethnic origin of the two characters.

Problems of learning often happen, especially when implementing it in class. The problem in spesific is lack of learning time for practical material in arts and culture-based subjects. This makes the skills that students have cannot be identified and perceived well by the teachers. Students are required to be able to understand theoretical material and practice their abilities as psychomotor values ​​within 3 hours of lessons. The amount of time was too short to sharpen their skills. So video media-based group vocals are a solution that is able to overcome obstacles that occur in the learning process during the co-19 pandemic. This research was conducted using the experimental method type One – Shoot Case Study) in class IX SMP, the test results were analyzed by the t-test and the percentage illustrated in the form of a pie chart. The process of compiling these learning media is able to help students understand the material provided, re-study the material while at home, and sharpen their skills with their colleagues. The material was prepared by involving the local cultures of Aceh for students of Javanese, Batak and Chinese ethnicity via online, it proves that students are more creative and innovative, not only able to sing in a vocal group but also dance and performing theater talents in one group task as well, so that the covid-19 pandemic 19 does not hinder students’ learning process.
