This study explores the integration of Creativity Education and Growth Mindset in Catholic Religious Education (CRE) at Senior High Schools and examines its alignment with the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4, focusing on quality and inclusive education. Using a Systematic Literature Review based on the PRISMA 2020 protocol, the study analyzed 1,263 articles from scientific databases, narrowing down to 106 relevant studies. The findings highlight that Creativity Education fosters critical thinking, cognitive flexibility, problem-solving, and the integration of moral and spiritual values. Growth Mindset enhances students’ intrinsic motivation, perseverance, and resilience, creating an adaptive, innovative, and inclusive learning environment. The synthesis led to the development of an integrative learning model, which includes the Creative Reflective Learning Cycle, Faith-Based Project Learning, Creative Growth Dialogue, and Digital Creativity Integration. This model aims to holistically develop students’ cognitive, creative, moral, and spiritual capacities. The study demonstrates that the combination of Creativity Education and Growth Mindset enriches CRE pedagogical practices and supports the development of 21st-century skills, such as critical thinking, collaboration, digital literacy, and moral literacy. It concludes that project-based learning, digital technology integration, and curriculum adjustments are vital steps in improving learning quality and inclusiveness. The study recommends further empirical research to test the effectiveness of the proposed model.

This study examines Marian devotion in the Catholic Church as a form of veneration (dulia) rather than worship (latria), addressing persistent misconceptions that equate Catholic devotional practices with idolatry. The research aims to identify the forms of Marian devotion practiced by Catholics in Indonesia and to analyze the challenges encountered in living out these practices. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) guided by the PRISMA framework. Two hundred articles were initially identified through Google Scholar and screened according to relevance, recency, geographical context, and methodological criteria, resulting in four eligible studies for analysis. The findings reveal four principal forms of devotion: the use of statues as aids to prayer, pilgrimages to Marian sites, Montfort-style Marian consecration, and the rosary emphasizing praise, imitation, and prayer with Mary. These practices deepen faith and lead the faithful closer to Christ without replacing divine worship. Challenges include external religious intolerance toward devotional symbols and limited theological understanding among believers. Therefore, sound catechesis grounded in Scripture and Church Tradition is essential to ensure authentic and balanced Marian devotion.

Studies on Eucharistic Adoration have predominantly emphasized its role as a personal devotional practice and individual spirituality, while its implications for Catholic Religious Education as a space for faith formation remain underexplored. This gap indicates the need for a theological-pedagogical reflection that connects Eucharistic Adoration with the process of faith education, particularly in the context of young people. This study aims to examine Eucharistic Adoration as an expression of Sacramentum Caritatis and its relevance as a formative space within Catholic Religious Education. The research employs a qualitative approach through a library research method, analyzing Church documents, theological works, and relevant academic literature on the Eucharist, faith education, and psycho-spiritual well-being. The findings reveal that Eucharistic Adoration is not merely a liturgical or devotional practice but also holds significant pedagogical value. It can be understood as a contemplative space that enables young people to experience a personal relationship with Christ, reflect on their inner experiences, and deepen their awareness of God’s transformative love. Furthermore, this study indicates that Eucharistic Adoration has the potential to support psycho-spiritual well-being by providing moments of silence, self-acceptance, and meaning-making in the light of faith. These findings highlight that integrating Eucharistic Adoration into Catholic Religious Education can enrich faith learning processes and help young people live their faith in a more personal and holistic manner. This study contributes to theological and educational discourse by positioning Eucharistic Adoration as a relevant practice of faith formation within contemporary Catholic education.

This study analyzes the construction of Catholic identity in the digital era from the perspective of social constructivism theory. In contrast to traditional identity formation tied to physical spaces like parishes, the digital age has created a dynamic virtual space where Catholic identity is actively shaped through theological narratives on social media. This qualitative research employs critical discourse analysis (CDA) of digital narratives from various theological sources, including papal posts and content from lay Catholic influencers. The findings indicate that Catholic identity is now constructed through digital interaction and participation, which changes how the faithful perceive church authority, form communities, and express their faith. This process has led to a shift from hierarchical authority to an authority that is also built from the ground up by the participation of the laity. Additionally, Catholic communities are transcending geographical boundaries to become "digital parishes." The implication for Inter-Faith Studies is that understanding this digitally constructed self-identity is crucial before engaging in dialogue with other religions, as the resulting narratives can be either inclusive or exclusive. In conclusion, contemporary Catholic identity is a dynamic and constructed entity, woven from both offline and online experiences.

This study examines the integration of Irau cultural values into Catholic Church ministry in Malinau through the approach of inculturation. The Irau festival, as a cultural heritage of the Dayak community, contains social and spiritual values such as togetherness, brotherhood, and gratitude. The study employs a qualitative method with a library research approach, analyzing Catholic Church documents, literature on inculturation theology, anthropiological studies on Dayak culture, and publications related to Malinau. The results indicate that integrating Irau cultural elements, such as music, dance, and traditional symbols that align with Catholic teaching, can enrich liturgy and pastoral ministry. This inculturation helps Catholics experience their faith contextually while respecting their cultural identity. A selective process is necessary to purify cultural elements that conflict with faith, enabling the Church to be an integral part of Malinau society.

Popular culture and digitalization have become the main context of the lives of Catholic children and adolescents, thus having a significant impact on the formation of their identity, values, and practices of faith. Phenomena such as social media, music, movies, and digital games are not only entertainment spaces, but also pedagogical spaces that shape the way of thinking and spirituality of the younger generation. This study aims to analyze the relevance of Thomas H. Groome's Shared Christian Praxis (SCP) model as a contextual catechesis approach for children and adolescents living in popular culture. Using a qualitative method based on literature studies, this study interprets popular cultural dynamics, the principles of the Church's faith education, and the SCP approach through hermeneutical and thematic analysis. The results show that traditional catechesis approaches are no longer adequate to answer the needs of the digital generation which demands a dialogical, participatory, and experiential learning process. The SCP approach has been proven to be able to integrate students' experiences, critical reflection, the Church's story of faith, hermeneutical dialogue, and concrete actions as a single faith-building process. Thus, this research makes a practical contribution to the Church and Catholic educational institutions in designing catechesis strategies that are more relevant, contextual, and able to respond to the challenges of popular culture faced by the younger generation.

This study examines the concept of women's leadership from an Islamic and Catholic perspective and how religious values influence the acceptance and legitimacy of women's leadership in the public sphere. Using a qualitative approach using a desk study method, this study analyzes religious texts, scientific literature, and case studies of the leadership of two Southeast Asian women: Megawati Soekarnoputri in Indonesia and Corazon Aquino in the Philippines. The results show that both Islam and Catholicism have complex histories and interpretations of women's roles in leadership. While conservative and patriarchal readings exist within both traditions, there is also interpretive space that allows women to emerge as leaders. The leadership of Megawati and Aquino demonstrates that women are capable of leading with distinctive styles rooted in values of spirituality, morality, and service. Both demonstrate a non-confrontational yet effective leadership approach, which simultaneously opens up space for reinterpreting women's roles in religion and politics. Thus, women's leadership is not a deviation from religious teachings, but rather part of the socio-religious dynamic that demands inclusivity and equality.

This article discusses the meaning of religious values in the Pati Ka Du'a Bapu Ata Mata tradition of the Ende Lio community and how this tradition is understood from a Catholic perspective. This tradition is a form of respect for ancestors who are believed to continue to play a role in the lives of their descendants. The study aims to explain the religious meaning, ethical values, and the integration of local traditions with the Catholic faith through an inculturation process. Using qualitative methods through interviews, observations, and literature studies, this study found that the Pati Ka Du'a Bapu Ata Mata tradition contains values of gratitude, solidarity, togetherness, and an awareness of human connection with nature, ancestors, and God. From a Catholic perspective, these values align with teachings on respect for others and the communion of saints, although some elements of the tradition require theological refinement to conform to Catholic principles. This study examines the Lom Plai tradition of the Dayak Wehea community from the perspective of Catholic inculturation theology. Although this tradition has been widely studied from an anthropological perspective, no research has specifically examined the meaning of its values, symbols, and rituals in the light of inculturation. Therefore, this study is important to see the possibility of dialogue between the Gospel and local culture. The purpose of this study is to understand how elements of Lom Plai culture can be interpreted and processed within the framework of inculturation theology and how the values contained therein can enrich the pastoral life of the community. The study uses a literature review method with a qualitative-contextual theological approach through analysis of theological literature, Church documents, and ethnographic studies of the Dayak Wehea. The research findings indicate that the values of harvest gratitude, respect for the land, community solidarity, and symbols such as rice and thanksgiving rituals are aligned with Christian spirituality and have the potential to be integrated into pastoral practice. The implications of this study emphasize the need for ongoing discernment so that the inculturation process runs authentically, enriches the community's faith, and maintains the cultural identity of the Wehea community.

Catechists hold a crucial role in accompanying the faithful on their spiritual journey. This study aims to explore the dimensions of spirituality and the vocational dynamics of catechists within the pastoral context of the Catholic Church, employing a descriptive qualitative approach. Unlike previous studies that primarily emphasized the catechist as a doctrinal instructor, this research highlights the depth of the catechist's personal relationship with Christ as the foundation of their spirituality. The main findings reveal that catechist spirituality manifests in three key dimensions: (1) a contemplative and intimate relationship with Christ as a source of inspiration and strength, (2) a commitment to service that goes beyond institutional routines, and (3) active engagement within the faith community as a space for growth and mission. Furthermore, this study identifies that the awareness of the catechist’s vocation evolves through theological reflection on concrete pastoral experiences—an aspect often overlooked in prior research. These findings underscore the urgency of continuous formation programs that are not only pedagogical but also spiritual and contextual, in order to strengthen the identity and missionary resilience of catechists amid contemporary pastoral challenges.

Nostra Aetate or the Declaration on the relation of the church with Non-Chrisian religions, is an official declaration of the Vatican II, an ecumenical council of the Catholic Church. Several attitudes that limit themselves in community activities and the community’s low understanding of local traditions are problems in research. One of the traditions that is maintained to build harmony between religious communities is the Nyadran tradition. To discuss this problem, researchers used qualitative methods with ethnographic studies. Research used data triangulation, purposive sampling techniques.1) The data results show, that the Nyadran tradistion does not deviate from Church teachings because it is interpreted as praying for deceased ancestors to obtain resurrection and eternal life with the Father in Heaven by expressing gratitude through a meal. Some parties restrict themselves due to religious teachings, locals uphold traditions without interpretation. 2) The Nostra Aetate declaration highlights Church acceptance of Nyadran tradition to promote societal well-being and environmental safety. 3)In social and pastoral life the Church has also implemented what is stated in the Nostra Aetate of declaration. Through the Nyadran tradition, people feel the negative impacts of modernization but also feel the positive impacts in the form of tolerance and spiritual connection.

Reincarnation or reincarnation is not a foreign term for Christians. Nearly all churches encourage their congregation to experience rebirth or new birth. This research uses literature studies to explore several GBI sources containing Church doctrine, primary sources for John Calvin's theological ideas from his writings, as well as secondary sources from theologians who have studied this issue. The researcher's perspective and experience as a GBI member cannot be ignored when contributing to this research. The idea that the Church is the unified body of Christ is a very familiar idea among Christians. This idea suggests that just as Christians whose faith is one with Christ, each of them also has the right to be one with other believers. The unity of the Church is promised through the Apostles' Creed, one of the confessions of faith which reads, "I believe in the holy Church" and continues to be a reminder through the symbolic sacrament of Holy Communion for unity among the faithful. at the table with God. Lack of understanding and acceptance of the correct concept of Holy Communion will give rise to wrong attitudes in society in welcoming Holy Communion, so that it does not bring any blessings, but rather punishment for those involved. The promise of baptism as the first step in discipleship becomes less influential in the path of faith because forgotten. The church must lead God's people into a time of renewal of baptismal promises in the context of church services to maintain ongoing commitment as a community of followers of Christ. This research uses documentary research methods to analyze the biblical and theological significance of Jesus' baptism in Matthew 3:13-17. understanding or concept of the sacrament of baptism in the Catholic Church. Based on data obtained through research, there are two differences in understanding between the Huler Wair rite and the sacrament of baptism in the Catholic Church. There are also similarities and differences between the two, which encourage the author to be more active in writing this article and try to understand it well.
