Micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) constitute a pivotal pillar of local economic resilience in Bandar Lampung, particularly in the fashion, salon and beauty, and professional service sectors. Notwithstanding their considerable growth potential, many MSMEs continue to encounter structural constraints that impede business expansion, most notably limited entrepreneurial capability, restricted access to capital, and the suboptimal utilization of digital marketing. Against this backdrop, the present study aims to examine the partial and simultaneous effects of entrepreneurship training, capital access, and digital marketing strategy on MSME business expansion. This research employed a quantitative explanatory design with a cross-sectional approach. Data were collected from 100 MSME owners selected through purposive sampling from a population of 2,785 enterprises, and were analyzed using multiple linear regression with SPSS. The findings reveal that entrepreneurship training does not exert a statistically significant effect on business expansion (B = 0.000; p = 0.998), indicating that training, in isolation, has not yet been effectively translated into concrete growth-oriented business practices. By contrast, access to capital has a positive and significant effect (B = 0.263; p = 0.001), demonstrating that financial accessibility enhances operational scale and market development. More importantly, digital marketing strategy emerges as the most influential determinant of business expansion (B = 0.593; p < 0.001), confirming that digital platform utilization substantially strengthens market reach, customer engagement, and business competitiveness. Simultaneously, the three variables significantly affect MSME expansion (F = 34.061; p < 0.001), with an explanatory power of 51.6%. It can therefore be concluded that MSME expansion is primarily driven by the synergy of financial accessibility and digital market adaptation, while entrepreneurship training becomes meaningful only when effectively operationalized within business practice.

Chronic kidney disease (CKD) is a growing global health concern that frequently remains undiagnosed until advanced stages. Early detection through simple laboratory screening is essential to prevent disease progression and associated cardiometabolic complications. This community service program aimed to assess kidney function using serum creatinine and estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR), while increasing public awareness regarding CKD prevention. A total of 59 participants were included, with a mean age of 39.15 ± 15.39 years (range 16–75 years), predominantly female (74.58%). The mean serum creatinine level was 1.0 ± 0.19 mg/dL, and the mean eGFR was 91.08 ± 20.53 mL/min/1.73 m². Most participants demonstrated normal kidney function (28.8%) or mild decline (21.6%). A progressive reduction in eGFR with increasing age was observed, reflecting the physiological decline in nephron mass and renal perfusion. The program also provided education on kidney-protective practices, including optimal blood pressure control, diabetes management, adequate hydration, and avoidance of nephrotoxic agents. This intervention improved participants’ understanding of CKD risk factors and the importance of regular screening. In conclusion, serum creatinine and eGFR evaluation offer simple, accurate, and practical tools for early CKD detection, supporting promotive–preventive strategies to slow disease progression and enhance quality of life in at-risk populations.

This study conducts a systematic literature review (SLR) and bibliometric analysis to map and synthesize research on digital transformation in talent management and its impact on employee retention in Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). Against the backdrop of high turnover rates and intense competition for talent, this research aims to identify the key interconnections between digital technologies, talent management practices, and retention outcomes within the MSME context. The methodology involved a comprehensive analysis of reputable databases using VOSviewer software for bibliometric mapping, focusing on co-authorship, co-occurrence, and citation networks. The findings reveal a robust, interconnected model centered on three core pillars: the adoption of digital technologies (e.g., AI, cloud-based HR systems), the implementation of strategic talent practices (notably digital employer branding and work flexibility), and the critical mediating role of employee psychological factors (job satisfaction and organizational commitment). The analysis demonstrates that successful retention in MSMEs is not merely a function of technological adoption but is achieved through a synergistic integration where technology enables effective talent management, which in turn fosters commitment and reduces turnover intention. This review contributes a comprehensive conceptual model that clarifies these dynamic relationships. The practical implication for MSME managers is the necessity of a holistic strategy that simultaneously develops digital infrastructure, refines talent management, and cultivates a supportive organizational culture to secure a sustainable competitive advantage through enhanced employee retention.

Chronic diseases such as chronic kidney disease (CKD), diabetes, and heart disease remain major causes of mortality worldwide, highlighting the need for accurate and interpretable diagnostic models. However, conventional machine learning methods often face challenges of limited generalization, feature redundancy, and class imbalance in medical datasets. This study proposes an integrated classification framework that unifies three complementary feature paradigms: classical tabular attributes, deep latent features extracted through an unsupervised Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) encoder, and quantum-inspired features derived from a five-qubit circuit implemented in PennyLane. These heterogeneous features are fused using a feature-wise attention mechanism combined with an AdaBoost classifier to dynamically weight feature contributions and enhance decision boundaries. Experiments were conducted on three benchmark medical datasets—CKD, early-stage diabetes, and heart disease—under both balanced and imbalanced configurations using stratified five-fold cross-validation. All preprocessing and feature extraction steps were carefully isolated within each fold to ensure fair evaluation. The proposed hybrid model consistently outperformed conventional and ensemble baselines, achieving peak accuracies of 99.75% (CKD), 96.73% (diabetes), and 91.40% (heart disease) with corresponding ROC AUCs up to 1.00. Ablation analyses confirmed that attention-based fusion substantially improved both accuracy and recall, particularly under imbalanced conditions, while SMOTE contributed minimally once feature-level optimization was applied. Overall, the attention-guided AdaBoost framework provides a robust and interpretable approach for clinical risk prediction, demonstrating that integrating diverse quantum, deep, and classical representations can significantly enhance feature discriminability and model reliability in structured medical data.

Chronic kidney disease (CKD) is a progressive and irreversible decline in kidney function that, if left untreated, can lead to serious complications. Ultrasonography (USG) is a widely used imaging modality for detecting CKD, yet its interpretation remains highly dependent on the radiologist’s expertise. This study aims to develop a CKD detection system using a convolutional neural network (CNN) on kidney ultrasound images based on estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR), and to evaluate the system’s performance. This research employed a research and development (R&D) approach with an experimental design. The dataset consisted of kidney ultrasound images from CKD and non-CKD patients with corresponding eGFR values. The methodology included image preprocessing, CNN model training, and accuracy evaluation using classification metrics. The results demonstrated that the developed CNN model achieved a total accuracy of 97% on internal test data and 95.8% on external validation. The model’s sensitivity reached 100% for the normal category, 91.67% for CKD stage 4, and 90% for CKD stage 5. Specificity exceeded 96% across all categories, with high precision and F1-scores above 94% for all classes. This system has proven to be effective as a diagnostic support tool for automatically detecting CKD through kidney ultrasound imaging. Its advantages lie not only in accurately classifying CKD from USG images but also in correlating the classification results with patients' eGFR values. This provides more precise clinical information and supports appropriate CKD staging and management planning.

This study is prompted by the reduction in the Rexona brand index in 2024, which coincided with several program-related mistakes that generated consumer dissatisfaction and led to a noticeable erosion of both brand image and brand trust. Such circumstances highlight the vulnerability of even well-established brands when faced with consumer discontent, as missteps in marketing campaigns or product related initiatives can have a lasting impact on how consumers perceive and evaluate a brand. For companies operating in highly competitive industries, these issues raise serious concerns, since negative brand perceptions and diminished trust are likely to undermine consumer loyalty, weaken brand equity, and reduce the likelihood of long-term purchasing behavior. Against this backdrop, the present research seeks to examine more deeply how brand image and brand trust contribute to shaping consumers repurchase intention for Rexona products in Surabaya, a city that represents a dynamic and diverse consumer market. To achieve this objective, the study adopted a quantitative research approach, applying the Partial Least Squares (PLS) method for statistical analysis. Data were obtained through purposive sampling, involving 110 respondents who were identified as active and cosistent user of Rexona products within the city of Surabaya. The findings of the research reveal that brand image shows a benefical effect on repurchase intention, while brand trust demonstrates a significant role in enhancing consumer willingness to engage in repeat purchases. These results emphasize that the synergy between a strong brand image and sustained consumer trust acts as a fundamental determinant for maintaining repurchase intention, particularly within highly competitive market environments.

Chronic kidney disease (CKD) is a metabolic disorder that is increasingly prevalent among the productive-age population and can significantly impair quality of life, particularly due to its progressive nature and often asymptomatic presentation in the early stages. Routine assessments of kidney function—such as estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) and serum creatinine levels—are essential for the early detection of kidney impairment. The Community Service Program (PKM) conducted in Grogol Village aimed to raise public awareness regarding the importance of early screening for kidney dysfunction. Among the 71 participants involved in the activity, 9 individuals (12.68%) had elevated serum creatinine levels, 4 individuals (5.63%) showed evidence of stage 3a kidney function decline, and 31 individuals (43.66%) were identified with stage 2 kidney function decline. Only 36 participants (50.7%) had normal kidney function. These results underscore the necessity of early detection efforts to prevent the progression of CKD and to promote sustained public awareness on the importance of maintaining kidney and metabolic health.   Keywords: Chronic Kidney Disease, Creatinine, eGFR, Early Detection, Productive Age

In the furniture packaging process, there is one problem that often hinders the effectiveness of time and space used. Many furnitures are designed in compact or intact forms so they cannot be disassembled. This affects the process of loading goods into a truck or container which is becoming increasingly limited in quantity. If the furniture is designed as knockdown, the process of loading goods will be easier and can save time, space, and energy. The knockdown furniture designed is a chair inspired by disassembly toys such as lego, figurines or action figures, and tazos. For aesthetic impression to the product, ornaments or decorations are added with materials from wood waste. Various types of wood waste found in furniture industry locations include bark, wood pieces, wood chips, and sawdust. The use of wood waste as decorative element in designed products can reduce the amount that often piles up as waste that cannot be used. This waste is even only used as burning material for other production waste causing negative impact on the environment due to air pollution. The wood waste utilized is teak wood branch waste that cut into small circles to be glued to the knockdown chair designed.
