This study aims to investigate whether business environment (X1) and entrepreneurial characteristics (X2) influence the performance (Y) of micro-small enterprises (MSEs) in Pasar Kodam Brawijaya Surabaya. A newly established MSE may find it challenging to navigate in a competitive environment, necessitating anticipation of various possibilities to maintain business performance. The research adopts a quantitative approach with a sample of 287 respondents among business operators in Pasar Kodam Brawijaya Surabaya, selected through simple random sampling. Data analysis employs Multiple Linear Regression, t-test, F-test, and Coefficient of Determination. The findings indicate that both Business Environment and Entrepreneurial Characteristics have a significant simultaneous influence on Business Performance. Specifically, Entrepreneurial Characteristics exert a greater influence on business performance compared to the Business Environment. Therefore, entrepreneurs should focus on aspects such as customer growth, diversifying product offerings, and motivating employees to achieve business goals collaboratively. This approach enables businesses to navigate competitive challenges and sustain themselves under any conditions.

This service activity aims to empower the people of Maryke Plantation Village through making stikcs as a home bussiness that utilizes collected palm tree fronds. Situation analysis shows that this village has abundant local resource potential, but it has not been utilized optimally to increase community income. The main problem faced is the lack of optimization in the process of making sticks and the sales location is limited the only one sales location. The methods used include assitance in the production process and assistance in the distribution of products to village suppliers. The results of this activity show an increase in optimizing local resources to increase village residents’ income. The discussion emphasized that empowerment based on local resources can increase the economic independence of the community and improve overall welfare.

In the rapid development of the food and beverage industry, overproduction and unsold food have led to a high amount of food waste, making Indonesia one of the largest food waste producers in the world. Data from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) in 2021 shows that Indonesia produces 23-40 million tons of food waste annually, which negatively impacts the environment, natural resources, and the economy. This research aims to create a website that serves as a platform for selling leftover food to reduce food waste issues in Indonesia. The method used in designing this website is the Design Thinking method, which consists of five stages: Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Test. Data for this method is collected through surveys and interviews with respondents. By creating this website, it is hoped to connect food business operators, such as restaurants, cafes, and bakeries, with consumers, allowing them to interact and providing an effective solution to reduce food waste in Indonesia. Additionally, it is expected that this website can minimize the waste of still-edible food for everyone. By ordering through this online platform, customers can get food at half the normal price.

A country's economic growth can increase because of the important role of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are productive economic enterprises that were born as one of human activities to fulfill their daily needs. This research discusses the role of the Business Identification Number (NIB) in the context of business legality to support the business growth of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). The focus of this activity is the UMKM Semen Tape Bu Suwarti, a tape producer in Semen Hamlet, Musir Kidul Village. This MSME assistance work program is carried out using several methods including surveys, observations, interviews and discussions, as well as mentoring. The stages in this activity begin with socialization regarding the importance of NIB ownership for business legality and assistance in making NIB. The existence of NIB can help to increase transparency in the business world by making it easier for the government to monitor and enforce laws related to business licensing and regulations. In this way, NIB not only simplifies the business process, but is also an important step in supporting the growth of MSMEs as a sector of the Indonesian economy.

The importance of calculating production costs to determine selling prices, especially for MSMEs today. In the current era of MSME bussiness environment, there are increasingly more competitors In marketing. For this reason, there is a need for method the cost of product orders. Determining this price effectively requires a good understanding of the cost order. In this research, the research method uses qualitative. The aim of the research is to find out the calculation of brownies production costs using the cost price method ordered by MSMEs iffa cookies in order to determine the selling price. The entity is still using the simple method, not yet using The order method. The results show that there is a difference regarding the production costs of MSME Iffa Cookies are IDR 260,975 and the production costs resulting from the researcher’s analysis of IDR 300,975. This also shows that using the cost order method is correct in determining the price for selling products.
