Extension on Fish Cultivation in Buckets (Budikdamber) to groups of housewives aims to increase understanding, skills and independence in managing local resources to support family food security. This activity was carried out in Huangobotu Village, Dungingi District, Gorontalo City, using lecture, discussion and live demonstration methods. The material presented includes efficient fish cultivation techniques using buckets as a medium, as well as integration with plants as an integrated agricultural system. The results of the activity showed that participants had high enthusiasm in adopting this simple technology. In addition, they can manage fish and plant cultivation independently in the household environment, which can increase the fulfillment of family food needs. However, several challenges arise regarding water management and selecting appropriate fish feed. This program shows great potential in increasing food security, especially for housewives in urban areas with limited land. The long-term success of this program requires ongoing support in technical aspects and solving problems that arise during the implementation of Budikdamber. Through this program, it is hoped that a community will be created that is more independent in meeting the nutritional needs of the family, as well as playing a role in realizing family-based food security.

The aquaculture sector is one source of food production whose development in Indonesia reached 6,979,750 tonnes or 95.80%. Therefore, it can contribute to the community's nutritional adequacy rate. Fisheries cultivation must be encouraged, because it plays an important role in improving the community's economy. Catfish production in Indonesia reached 1.06 million tons and 19,550 tons in Lampung. Catfish can be cultivated with various types of pools including tarpaulin, concrete, soil, biofloc and bucket pools. The aim of cultivating in buckets is as a form of updating appropriate technology through cultivating in buckets and creating nutritional gardens. The levels of ammonia, nitrite and nitrate in catfish ponds with plants will be lower than in conventional ponds without aquaponics. The experiment was conducted with a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with four treatments and three replications (P1=1 head/liter, P2=2 head/liter, P3=3 head/liter and P4=4 head/liter). The best absolute weight growth rate was 3.1 grams, absolute length growth rate was 9.1 cm, and survival rate was 81%, accompanied by other water quality parameters such as temperature (26.5 - 28.4oC), pH (6.5- 6.8), DO (3-4 mg/L), TDS (135- 145 ppm).

Training on cultivating fish in buckets is one of the main work programs of KKN village development service activities carried out in Pongkai Istiqomah Village. This program aims to support the people of Pongkai Istiqomah Village in GEMARIKAN (Movement to promote fish eating) and also aims to prevent stunting in Pongkai Istiqomah Village. The target of this budikdamber training is the entire community of Pongkai Istiqomah Village, and the PKK as a partner in the organization which is expected to be a contact person with the community. The problems of partners in Pongkai Istiqomah Village are: Firstly, community activity in the fisheries sector in cultivating fish has not been maximized because it requires quite a large amount of capital, secondly, the community's understanding of the importance of consuming fish has not been maximized. The solution to the partners' problems implemented in this service is to hold a training program for making Fish Cultivation in Buckets. The method used is taking a direct approach with the community, counseling and practice of making Fish Cultivation in Buckets. The outputs resulting from this program are: firstly increasing public knowledge and understanding in catfish cultivation, secondly increasing public understanding of the importance of consuming fish and the importance of preventing stunting.
