The production process of wooden batik at Sanggar Peni Krebet plays an important role in preserving local culture and supporting the economy, but workers face the risk of musculoskeletal disorders due to unergonomic working positions when performing activities such as sculpting, sanding, batik making, and boiling . Based on the NBM questionnaire on 15 workers, the highest complaints were found in the right upper arm (100%), right wrist (100%), and waist (88%). Research using the RULA and REBA methods revealed the batik activity to have a very high risk (RULA 7, REBA 11), requiring immediate improvement, while boiling had a medium to high risk (RULA 5, REBA 9), requiring investigation and change. The EFD emphasizes the importance of designing batik boiling stoves, chairs and tables that consider height according to the worker's body size, ergonomic working positions, and comfortable strainer handles. Tool development should focus on improving comfort, safety and efficiency, with design adjustments to support workers' postures and use lightweight yet strong materials. The application of these elements is expected to improve safety and productivity in the batik industry.

Akuntansi Pajak dan Kebijakan Ekonomi Digital 2025 Asosiasi Riset Ekonomi dan Akuntansi Indonesia

This study aims to analyze cash management practices in Batik MSMEs in Cirebon Regency using a qualitative approach that combines direct observation and in-depth interviews with business owners. The study found that most Batik MSMEs still rely on manual cash management systems, which ultimately poses various challenges, particularly in terms of unstructured financial recording and minimal cash flow planning. This condition makes it difficult to communicate receipts and expenditures in real time, potentially leading to errors in fund management and disrupting business financial stability. Furthermore, the study revealed variations in cash receipt recording methods, such as daily or weekly recording, which are inconsistent across MSMEs. This impacts transparency and effective financial control. The lack of thorough cash flow planning also makes it difficult for business owners to deal with insufficient liquidity, especially when there is a surge in sales or sudden needs. As a result, some MSMEs experience problems meeting their payment obligations on time, including to suppliers and employees. The findings of this study highlight the importance of financial literacy education for Batik MSMEs so they can understand the basic concepts of cash management well. Furthermore, the use of digital technology, such as simple financial recording applications, is highly recommended to improve efficiency and accuracy in cash flow management. This technology implementation is expected to assist MSMEs in making more informed financial decisions and supporting the long-term sustainability of their businesses. Therefore, this study provides strategic recommendations for local governments and MSME support institutions to provide adequate training and technological facilities to strengthen financial management capacity in the batik MSME sector in Cirebon Regency.

This study explores the relationships between digital marketing content, value co-creation, and product branding on perceived product exclusivity within the Indonesian batik industry. As traditional industries face increasing pressure to modernize while preserving cultural heritage, understanding these marketing dynamics is crucial for achieving a sustainable competitive advantage. The study employed a quantitative methodology with saturated sampling, analyzing data from 92 batik enterprises using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) through SmartPLS 4.0. The measurement model demonstrated strong reliability and validity, with all constructs meeting the established criteria for internal consistency and discriminant validity. Structural model results revealed that all three marketing variables significantly influence perceived product exclusivity. Among these variables, product branding showed the strongest effect (β = 0.358, p < 0.001), followed by digital marketing content (β = 0.312, p < 0.001) and value co-creation (β = 0.276, p < 0.001). This indicates that the branding strategies implemented by batik enterprises play a pivotal role in shaping consumers' perceptions of exclusivity. The integrated model explained 61.5% of the variance in perceived product exclusivity (R² = 0.615), with strong predictive relevance (Q² = 0.438). These findings underscore the importance of developing a strategic brand that not only reflects the unique qualities of batik but also resonates with contemporary consumer expectations. Additionally, the study highlights the role of digital marketing content in strengthening these perceptions and the significance of facilitating customer co-creation to enhance engagement and exclusivity. In conclusion, batik enterprises are encouraged to prioritize brand development while implementing comprehensive digital marketing strategies and fostering customer involvement in co-creation activities. This approach will enhance the exclusivity of their products and improve their market positioning within the contemporary cultural products landscape.

Batik is a work of art that has unique cultural values. The existence of batik can be found at any time in all corners of the city of Pekalongan. Meanwhile, batik production and trading activities are active throughout the day, even late at night. The pulse of people's lives, which is never separated from batik, has given Pekalongan the image of a "batik city". This is quite relevant considering that the people of Pekalongan city cannot be separated from batik, batik has become the economic lifeblood of the people of Pekalongan. Pekalongan batik production is not only sold in the local market but has reached and penetrated the international market. As competition in the international batik industry has arrived, it is fitting for Pekalongan batik to receive legal protection. The legal protection in question is about intellectual property rights, one of which is related to the use of trademark rights. There are two problems in this research, namely how to obtain legal protection for brand rights, logos, batik motifs and models in Pekalongan and how to report criminal acts of misuse or counterfeiting batik logos/brands that have been registered with Intellectual Property Rights. This research was conducted using a normative juridical research model or a normative legal research method. The normative juridical research method is a library-based legal research method. In this research, research will be carried out by analyzing the problems being discussed relating to the regulations on Intellectual Property Rights, specifically Brand Rights. Then the author connects it with legal protection of brand rights for the Batik industry in Pekalongan. Research results Legal protection for copyright of batik motifs generally exists in the 2002 UUHC, as regulated in Article 12 letter i. Based on developments in the 1987 UUHC and 1997 UUHC, batik art that receives copyright protection is non-traditional batik art with the consideration that traditional batik art has become common property (public domain). In the 2002 Copyright Law, both traditional and contemporary batik receive protection. Legal protection for batik motif copyright is obtained automatically without registration. Copyright registration for Pekalongan batik motifs is still rarely done. UUHC 2002 basically protects the artistic work of batik craftsmen without having to register. This creates several problems, namely, new motifs created by batik craftsmen in Pekalongan are marketed, and within three months the printed batik will come out. Regarding this problem, the Pekalongan City and Regency Department of Industry and Trade has not yet taken action because basically most batik motifs in Pekalongan have not been copyrighted. If people want to protest and demand it, it will also cost a lot of money, even though most craftsmen in Pekalongan have little capital. The level of awareness and understanding of the public, especially small and medium industrial entrepreneurs, regarding copyright is still low, so this condition becomes even worse due to the lack of ability to access information, as well as understanding of relevant agency officials regarding the importance of copyright. Of the 13 KPIs, there are several KPIs that have unsatisfactory performance, namely energy use, waste produced by % of products produced, production costs, installation costs, waste management, efficiency, stamping, batik canting.
