This study investigates the decoupling phenomenon between ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) sustainability reporting and communal Tri Hita Karana (THK) sustainability practices in a Rural Bank in Bali. Through Ethnographic Content Analysis (ECA) of official documents from BPR Luhur Damai covering 2023–2025, this study identifies that the Sustainability Report (SR), prepared strictly according to Financial Services Authority Regulation (POJK) 51/2017, does not incorporate substantial THK practices, namely banten (ceremonial offerings) Rp131.6 million, dana punia (religious donations) Rp8.5 million, and monthly banjar (communal community unit) contributions, producing a Hindu religious expenditure to formal Social and Environmental Responsibility (SER) ratio of 10:1. Drawing on the Institutional Logics perspective, this study identifies four decoupling mechanisms: (1) cognitive, namely THK as taken-for-granted, not perceived as “sustainability”; (2) administrative, namely departmental silos between Compliance and General Affairs; (3) template, namely POJK 51/2017 provides no space for local wisdom; and (4) capacity, namely limited Human Resources (HR) and institutional capacity. These findings lead to the concept of “invisible sustainability,” that is, real sustainability contributions that are invisible to conventional reporting frameworks, and “cultural accounting gap,” that is, the absence of accounting categories for local cultural-religious contributions. The theoretical contribution is demonstrating that decoupling in Global South contexts is not merely symbolic compliance but results from structural misalignment between transnational and communal logics that renders local sustainability contributions institutionally invisible.

This study discusses the implementation of the concept of Islamic insurance in the Amanah Card product at Amanah Takaful Banten. In Indonesia, there are various economic activities such as trade, savings and loans, and Islamic financial institutions. Currently, the insurance sector is growing rapidly in Indonesia. There are two types of insurance in Indonesia, namely Islamic insurance and conventional insurance. However, conventional insurance poses concerns for Muslims due to the presence of elements such as riba (interest), gharar (uncertainty), and maysir (gambling). Therefore, Islamic insurance emerges as a risk protection system that prioritizes Sharia principles. The objectives of this study are: (1) to identify the concept of the Amanah Card product at Amanah Takaful Banten, (2) to examine the implementation of Islamic insurance principles in the Amanah Card product, and (3) to analyze how Amanah Takaful Banten improves the accessibility of the Amanah Card product. This research employs a qualitative approach using a field study method (direct observation in the field). Data were collected through interviews with informants, as well as observation and documentation methods. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Relevant literature includes theories on insurance, Amanah Card, and zakat management institutions, as well as previous studies that examine the implementation of Islamic insurance concepts in insurance products such as Amanah Card. The results show that the Amanah Card product is categorized as a microinsurance product. It implements Islamic insurance principles, including the use of contracts (akad) and management practices that comply with Sharia principles and do not violate existing regulations. The Amanah Card product can be accessed offline through registration with Duta MT Bertaawun and online through social media and the Amanah Takaful website. In conclusion, the Amanah Card product is considered compliant both from a Sharia perspective and regulatory standards.

Internal governance and psychological safety are key factors influencing employee performance in private universities in Indonesia. Internal governance ensures efficient and transparent operations aligned with institutional goals, whereas psychological safety allows employees to express ideas and take risks without fear of negative consequences. Organizational communication mediates the relationship between these factors and employee performance. This study aimed to assess the impact of internal governance and psychological safety on employee performance in private universities in Banten, with organizational communication as an intervening variable. This study explores how these elements contribute to performance through effective communication. A quantitative approach was employed with a sample of 50 respondents from private universities in Banten. Data were collected via structured surveys, and SmartPLS 4.0 software was used to analyze the relationships between internal governance, psychological safety, organizational communication, and employee performance. This study found that internal governance positively influenced organizational communication, which significantly enhanced employee performance. Psychological safety also contributes to organizational communication but has a minimal direct impact on performance. Organizational communication plays a crucial mediating role in linking governance, safety, and performance. These findings emphasize the importance of strengthening internal governance, fostering psychological safety, and improving organizational communication to optimize employee performance in private universities. By focusing on these factors, universities can create a more supportive environment that enhances employee engagement and effectiveness of the faculty.

Income inequality and poverty continue to be major challenges in Indonesia's industrial areas, especially in DKI Jakarta, West Java, and Banten, although minimum wage policies continue to be developed as a form of protection for low-income workers. These policies theoretically serve as an instrument for income redistribution and improvement of labor welfare, but their effectiveness in reducing inequality and reducing poverty rates is still questionable, especially in areas with highly industrialized economic structures. This study aims to analyze the influence of income inequality, poverty rate, economic growth, and unemployment rate on the dynamics of the provincial minimum wage in the 2016–2023 period. The study used secondary data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency and analyzed using panel data regression to obtain a comprehensive empirical picture of the factors determining the minimum wage. The test results show that the Fixed Effect Model is the most suitable model for capturing variations between provinces and between times. Key findings reveal that poverty levels and economic growth have a significant influence on changes in the minimum wage, while income inequality and unemployment rates have no significant influence. The conclusion of the study emphasizes that the minimum wage policy is not effective enough in reducing income inequality and reducing poverty without the expansion of the formal sector, improving the quality of the workforce, and distributing economic growth more evenly between industrial areas.

The development of information technology has had a major impact on how Generation Z students in Banten obtain information. This situation requires digital literacy skills that are not only technical in nature, but also involve critical thinking and digital ethics. The purpose of this study is to explore the relationship between digital literacy and understanding of Pancasila values among Generation Z students in Banten, as well as to identify factors that support, hinder, and strategies to strengthen Pancasila-based character in the digital world. The method used in this study is qualitative with a literature study approach supported by observations on campus and interviews with students. The findings show that students' digital literacy is in the good category, but it is not yet fully in line with their understanding of Pancasila values. The impact of negative information, such as hoaxes and hedonistic culture, is a major obstacle to national character. Supporting factors include the role of stakeholders in providing space for learning media ethics. This study highlights the importance of integrating Pancasila values into digital literacy through an adaptable Pancasila Education curriculum, the development of educational content, and collaboration between stakeholders. The implications of this study indicate the need to strengthen students' character so that they can become ethical, responsible digital citizens who reflect the values of Pancasila.

The Indonesian language holds a strategic role as a unifying national language as well as the medium of instruction in education. However, this role has not been fully internalized within indigenous communities such as the Baduy Dalam tribe, which is known for its strong adherence to tradition and the use of the Baduy dialect of Sundanese in daily life. This study aims to reveal the role of the Indonesian language in communication and education within the Baduy Dalam community and to analyze how the national language is adopted amidst the strong local culture. This research employs a qualitative method with data collection techniques including in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document studies conducted within the Baduy Dalam community in Lebak Regency, Banten. The results indicate that the Indonesian language is beginning to be used in educational contexts, especially in formal schools around the Baduy area, although its use remains limited in everyday interactions among community members. Proficiency and understanding of Indonesian are more dominant among the younger generation who receive formal education. The social implications of these findings include the opening of access to broader information and knowledge for the Baduy Dalam people, but also present challenges in preserving local language and cultural values. This study recommends educational approaches based on local wisdom to ensure that the role of the Indonesian language progresses in harmony with the preservation of the Baduy Dalam cultural identity.

For individuals and legal entities, land registration serves as the sole method to protect land ownership and ensure legal certainty. The foundation of land rights is based on Law No. 5 of 1960 concerning the Basic Agrarian Principles, which recognizes several types of land rights, including Ownership Rights (Hak Milik), Building Use Rights (Hak Guna Bangunan), Cultivation Rights (Hak Guna Usaha), and Use Rights (Hak Pakai). The primary objective of this Community Service Program (Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat or Abdimas) is to educate the public and clarify misinformation circulating on social media. The educational initiative focuses on Government Regulation No. 18 of 2021, which ensures that long-standing land rights can still be registered through the “Recognition of Rights” mechanism. This discussion activity was initiated by the Faculty of Law, Universitas Pancasakti Tegal, which felt compelled to engage with the community in addressing issues related to land ownership and registration. Through this initiative, is hoped that public awareness and understanding of land law can be significantly improved.

Taxpayer compliance is a crucial factor in optimizing state revenue, particularly in supporting national development financing. However, in practice, various obstacles are still encountered that hinder the achievement of optimal compliance levels. Some of these include employees' low understanding of tax provisions and the less than optimal effectiveness of tax sanction implementation. This study aims to analyze the relationship between tax knowledge (X1) and tax sanctions (X2) on taxpayer compliance (Y) among employees of the Banten Province Cooperatives and SMEs Office. This study uses a quantitative method with an associative approach. The sampling technique uses saturated sampling, so that the entire population of 45 people is used as the research sample. Data analysis was performed using the Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) based Structural Equation Modeling method using SmartPLS software version 4.0. The results show that the tax knowledge variable (X1) has a t-statistic value of 1.190 <1.96 and a significance value (p-value) of 0.234 >0.05. Thus, tax knowledge does not have a significant effect on taxpayer compliance. Furthermore, the tax sanction variable (X2) obtained a t-statistic value of 1.436 < 1.96 and a p-value of 0.151 > 0.05, which means that tax sanctions also do not have a significant effect on taxpayer compliance. Overall, this study concludes that neither tax knowledge nor tax sanctions partially have a significant effect on the level of taxpayer compliance among the employees who were respondents in the study. This finding indicates that other factors, such as personal awareness, perceptions of tax fairness, and intrinsic motivation, may have a more dominant role in shaping taxpayer compliance. Therefore, a more comprehensive policy strategy is needed to increase compliance, not only through increasing knowledge or enforcing sanctions, but also through ongoing coaching, socialization, and persuasive approaches.

The Student Care for Stunting Program is an innovation by BKKBN in collaboration with universities to support the acceleration of stunting reduction through real work lectures or other community service activities. This program is part of the government's efforts to achieve the target of reducing the stunting rate to 14% by 2024, as mandated by the President. This study identifies the implementation of the BKKBN Student Program for Stunting Prevention in Banten Province, specifically in Kilasah Village, as well as the challenges faced in its implementation. The study employs government action theory and the welfare state theory using a legal-empirical method through a qualitative field approach. Data was collected through literature reviews and interviews, analyzed descriptively and analytically. The results show that the program's implementation has included 15 outreach and mentoring activities. Fifteen adolescents received reproductive health education, 21 pregnant and breastfeeding mothers received nutrition and pregnancy health counseling, and 20 prospective couples participated in socialization on healthy pregnancy planning and the use of the Elsimil application. Growth monitoring was conducted at nine Posyandu centers with a total of 60 infants, and 37 cases of infants indicated as stunted were identified. Challenges faced include the absence of specific regulations regarding the program and resistance from the target groups, particularly adolescents and prospective brides and grooms who struggled to understand the Elsimil app. In conclusion, the program has a positive impact on efforts to accelerate stunting reduction, although improvements are still needed in terms of regulations, coordination, and culture-based education.
