The architecture of consumer decision-making has completely changed due to the quick development of recommendation systems based on artificial intelligence (AI). The majority of earlier studies saw algorithms as instruments for forecasting and maximizing preexisting preferences. This study, however, makes a different claim: algorithmic curation actively shapes preferences rather than just reflecting them. This study creates and evaluates a structural model that examines the impact of algorithmic curation intensity on perceived search autonomy, identity resonance, affective evaluation, and the development of initial preferences. The model is based on identity-based consumption theory and the literature on human-AI interaction. The study's findings, which are based on survey data from Generation Z consumers and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis, demonstrate a contradictory dynamic: algorithmic curation improves identity resonance and directly influences initial preferences while simultaneously decreasing feelings of autonomy. The primary mediating mechanism that links algorithmic exposure to emotional assessment and preference creation is identified as identity resonance. In addition to introducing the concept of algorithmic consumer formation as a new conceptual framework for comprehending consumer behavior in the AI-based digital era, our findings expand the notion of bounded rationality toward algorithmically bounded agency.

This research focuses on identifying how PT. Pertamina Trans Kontinental Marine Dumai processes permits for loading dangerous goods in bulk liquids in the Dumai region. The process begins when the ship notifies the ship of the hazardous cargo to be loaded. Afterward, the operational team or external services department prepares application documents to be submitted to the authorized agency, namely the Dumai Harbormaster's Office. The application process requires payment of fees included in Non-Tax State Revenue (PNBP). As a national shipping company, PT. Pertamina Trans Kontinental Marine Dumai also emphasizes the importance of fostering good cooperation with relevant agencies. This action is taken as a strategic step to ensure the proper handling of dangerous goods. Complete documentation is crucial in this licensing process. Required documents include a permit application letter and a dangerous goods manifest. The completeness and accuracy of these documents are crucial for the smooth running of the permit application process, while ensuring that each stage complies with applicable regulations.

The issue of illegal parking in the Pasar Jambi area remains unresolved despite various enforcement efforts carried out by the Jambi City Transportation Agency. Non-compliant parking practices, such as the presence of unauthorized parking attendants, the imposition of fees beyond official rates, and the lack of use of official attributes, indicate a discrepancy between established standards and actual field conditions. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Transportation Agency’s supervision in controlling illegal parking in the Pasar Jambi area by applying George R. Terry’s supervision theory indicators. The research employs a qualitative method with a case study approach, using data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that supervision has been implemented through stages of setting standards, measuring performance, comparing implementation with standards, and taking corrective actions. However, the effectiveness of supervision is still not optimal. This is reflected in the persistent gap between standards and practices in the field, the limited number of supervisory personnel, and corrective actions that have not been consistently effective in creating a deterrent effect. Although enforcement has been carried out progressively through warnings, guidance, and direct actions, violations continue to occur repeatedly. The implications of this study highlight the need to strengthen consistency in supervision, enforce stricter sanctions, and enhance resource capacity so that supervision is not merely administrative but can create sustainable parking order.

This research investigates the execution of data-informed and inclusive regional development planning within the Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda) of Sidoarjo Regency, concentrating on four analytical aspects: data integration and management abilities, the efficiency of participatory processes, technical and institutional obstacles concerning interoperability, and capacity-building strategies for facilitators tasked with translating public aspirations into planning priorities. The study is positioned within the national framework to establish evidence-based and participatory planning in reaction to the growing complexity regional development. Despite Bappeda Sidoarjo implementing multiple data platforms and participatory channels such Musrenbang forums, online submission systems, and sector-specific information systems the results indicate that issues like data fragmentation, insufficient digital literacy, and ineffective follow-up mechanisms continue to impede planning effectiveness. Employing qualitative methodology that includes in-depth interviews, observation, and document review, the research reveals that data integration has not reached single source of truth because of the lack of a cohesive data architecture and compatible standards among government entities. Participatory methods have increased inclusivity, but the quality of proposals and verification processes is still variable, hindering the incorporation of grassroots feedback into planning priorities. Moreover, the ability of facilitators the subdistrict and village levels is crucial in determining the quality of the compiled proposals. The research ends by highlighting the importance of improved data governance, increased actor capability, revised participatory processes, and clear follow-up mechanisms. Suggestions encompass constructing a unified data framework, offering ongoing technical training, standardizing digital Musrenbang processes, and establishing publicly available proposal-tracking system integrated within the yearly planning cycle.

Local governments in Indonesia rely significantly on local tax revenues to strengthen fiscal independence and sustain regional development. Among these revenue sources, the Motor Vehicle Tax (PKB) and the Motor Vehicle Transfer Fee (BBNKB) play a vital role in shaping regional fiscal capacity. This study explores how both taxes contribute to the Regional Own-Source Revenue (PAD) of Central Java Province during the 2020–2024 period. Drawing on quantitative analysis and secondary data from the Central Java Regional Revenue Agency (Bapenda), the research assesses the effectiveness and contribution of PKB and BBNKB in supporting local fiscal performance. The results show that PKB consistently exerts a positive, meaningful influence on PAD, underscoring its central role in sustaining the province’s fiscal strength. In contrast, BBNKB demonstrates a weaker, less stable impact, primarily driven by changes in vehicle ownership trends and administrative challenges. When considered together, both tax instruments contribute to enhancing local fiscal capacity, although the reliance on PKB remains predominant. These findings underscore the importance of modernizing regional tax administration, particularly through digital innovation, transparent reporting systems, and community-based compliance strategies. Strengthening these mechanisms is essential to building a more resilient and autonomous fiscal framework, especially in the context of post-pandemic economic recovery and long-term regional development planning

The rise in corruption cases in Indonesia significantly hampers investment, impacts national economic growth, and undermines the integrity of public institutions. This study highlights the strategic role of public mobilization as guardians of transparency in preventing potential corruption at the Danantara Investment Management Agency (BPI). Using a normative legal research approach enriched by qualitative analysis of the regulatory framework and best practices, this study examines the legal basis supporting public participation and formulates an effective corruption prevention strategy in the digital era. The results show that optimizing the role of the public through information transparency and the use of information and communication technology (ICT) plays a crucial role in building accountability and detecting irregularities. Access to audit data, financial evaluations, and public information is an important instrument in strengthening oversight. The use of ICT allows the public to analyze anomalous patterns, assess institutional performance, and provide constructive feedback on investment management policies. However, this mobilization faces significant challenges. First, the complexity of financial and regulatory data often makes it difficult for the general public to interpret. Second, limited digital literacy hinders the public's ability to utilize oversight technology. Third, the urgent need for certainty of legal protection for whistleblowers or oversight participants is a determining factor in the success of the mobilization. Therefore, strengthening regulations that guarantee legal protection, increasing digital literacy capacity, and developing user-friendly public oversight platforms are necessary. Synergy between the government, investment management institutions, and the public is key to creating a transparent, responsive, and adaptive oversight system to technological developments. This way, the active role of the public can be optimized to strengthen the integrity of BPI Danantara and promote a healthy investment climate in Indonesia.

This research aims to understand the concept and regulations of Islamic pension funds (dana pensiun syariah) in Indonesia, which impact life in old age based on the Maqasid al-Shariah (objectives of Islamic law). An Islamic pension fund is a pension fund that administers a retirement program based on Sharia principles (DSN-MUI Fatwa Number: 88/DSN-MUI/XI/2013). The management of Islamic pension funds in Indonesia is carried out through investments in Sharia-compliant pension funds that are distributed to participants. This is closely tied to the contractual consequences of the underlying agreement governing the transactional relationship between DPLK (Financial Institution Pension Fund) participants and the Sharia DPLK, which is based on the contract of Wakalah bil Ujrah (agency with fee). This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive-analytical method to analyze instruments of old-age protection based on Maqasid al-Shariah in the management of pension funds within Islamic financial institutions. The research is rooted in the management of pension funds aligned with the Maqasid al-Shariah, which represent the main objectives of Islamic law—namely, to realize the welfare (maslahah) of humanity in both this world and the hereafter. This pension fund also serves as a form of old-age security designed to provide income certainty for workers after entering retirement.

Integrated public services in a one-stop service system, such as the one implemented at the Mal Pelayanan Publik (MPP) Badung, serve as an answer to the public's demand for efficient, fast, and transparent bureaucracy. However, in its implementation, MPP still faces various strategic challenges, such as fragmentation between agencies, limited human resources, and suboptimal digital system integration that supports cross-sector services. This study aims to analyze adaptive and collaborative managerial strategies to address these challenges and explore digital innovation opportunities to improve service quality. By using a literature review method from various journals, policy reports, and supporting documents, this study shows that the success of the one-stop service system greatly depends on visionary leadership, synergy between agencies, and adequate technological support. The discussion concludes that flexible, responsive managerial strategies that emphasize cross-agency collaboration can enhance efficiency and user satisfaction. Therefore, updating digital systems, involving the community, and improving human resource capacity are crucial steps in realizing modern and sustainable public services. Another key factor for success is the adoption of innovative digital technologies. By investing in digital infrastructure, MPP can automate many of its processes, reducing paperwork, speeding up response times, and ensuring better coordination between departments. Examination of a criminal case in a judicial process essentially aims to find the material truth, namely the complete truth of a criminal case by applying the provisions of criminal procedural law honestly and in a timely manner with the aim of finding out who the perpetrator is who can be charged with committing something. violation of law. Making a post mortem et repertum gives the full duty to the doctor as an implementer in the field to assist the prosecutor in determining the direction of the charges that will be brought against the defendant, as well as assisting the judge in finding the material truth in deciding the criminal case. This research includes normative legal research, so the legal materials used are primary, secondary and tertiary legal materials. The technique for collecting legal materials that will be used as a source in this research is library research, namely collecting legal materials by reading statutory regulations, official documents, journals, articles from the internet, and other literature that is closely related to The issues discussed are based on secondary legal materials. The presence of the Pretrial Institution provides a warning that law enforcers must be careful in carrying out their legal actions and every legal action must be based on applicable legal provisions, meaning that they must be able to exercise restraint and distance themselves from arbitrary actions. Thus, it is clear that organizing pretrial proceedings is not an easy task considering that the activities of one law enforcement agency to assess and test the work patterns of other law enforcement agencies is definitely work that must be carried out carefully and mastering all law enforcement mechanisms. The judiciary in Indonesia, one of whose tasks is to examine laws against the constitution, is what we often call judicial review. This judicial review is carried out to protect the rights of citizens who feel disadvantaged by the enactment of a law. In this case, what concerns the author is the judicial review of article 77 of the Criminal Procedure Code, which in this article is felt to be detrimental to someone who is designated as a suspect by investigators, because the article does not regulate the determination of suspects as pre-trial objects.
