Introduction: Colostrum is a part of breast milk (ASI) which has a characteristic yellowish liquid that comes out on the first to the third day after giving birth. Colostrum contains 10-17 times more immune substances than mature milk, so it is very good to give because it functions to form the baby's antibodies. Objective: To determine maternal knowledge, family support relationships, sources of information, the role of health workers, maternal behavior and how to provide colostrum by giving colostrum to newborns at the Cimanggu Community Health Center, Cibeber District, Cianjur Regency in 2023. Method: The research method used is descriptive with Cross Sectional Study approach. The sample in this study was postpartum mothers on days 1-4 with a total of 30 samples. This sample was taken using a purposive sampling method and the measuring instrument used was a questionnaire. Results: This study found a relationship between giving colostrum and family support (p=0.029), information sources (p=0.003), behavior (p=0.000). Meanwhile, there was no significance in maternal knowledge (p=.0966), the role of health workers (p=0.836), how to give colostrum (p=0.997) with colostrum. Conclusion: There is a relationship between family support, sources of information and behavior with giving colostrum and there is no relationship between mother's knowledge, the role of health workers and how to give colostrum with giving colostrum.

Breast preparation for breastfeeding begins during pregnancy, which is characterized by the breasts becoming larger along with the increase in the number and size of the alveoli glands as a result of increasing levels of the hormone estrogen. This occurs until a baby has been breastfed for a few days when actual milk production begins. In the first few days the breasts secrete colostrum which is very important for the baby's health. Breasts produce breast milk starting when the baby begins to suckle on the nipple and the resulting physical stimulation causes impulses in the nerve endings which are then sent to the hypothalamus in the brain which in turn tells the pituitary gland in the brain to produce the hormones oxytocin and prolactin (Anik, 2016). This study aims to analyze the relationship between oxytocin massage and breast milk production in postpartum mothers at Ibu Kartini Hospital, West Kisaran, Asahan Regency in 2023. This research is correlational with a cross sectional approach and bivariate data analysis is data analysis used in research to determine the relationship or influence of variables. independent (independent) with a dependent (dependent) variable using Chi Square analysis with a significant p-value (0.05) (Hardani, 2020) Based on the research results. Based on the results of statistical tests using Chi-Square, it was obtained with a p value of 0.001 that the breast milk output of postpartum mothers before oxytocin massage was mostly not enough breast milk. Postpartum mothers' breast milk output after massage is mostly breast milk This means that there is an influence of oxytocin massage on breast milk production in postpartum mothers at Ibu Kartini Hospital, West Kisaran, Asahan Regency in 2023

Colostrum, which is part of breast milk, contains immunoglobin M. Colostrum is breast milk that comes out a few days after giving birth and is clear or yellowish white. Objective: to determine the relationship between providing early initiation of breastfeeding and breast milk with the immune system of babies at the Tolo Health Center, Jeneponto Regency in 2020. The type of research used was a cross sectional study. The sample was 60 mothers who had babies aged 1-6 months who were in the working area of the Tolo Community Health Center, Jeneponto Regency. The results of the research show a relationship between giving early initiation of breastfeeding and the baby's immune system at the Tolo Community Health Center, Jeneponto Regency in 2020 with a p value = 0.024 < α 0.05. = 0.021 < α 0.05. Conclusion: there is a relationship between providing early initiation of breastfeeding and breast milk with the baby's immune system at the Tolo health center, Jeneponto Regency 2020. Suggestions: To increase knowledge and information for mothers about the importance of carrying out IMD immediately after the baby is born so that it can prevent antenatal deaths.
