This study proposes a computer vision-based system for automatically verifying the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in industrial environments. The system integrates the YOLOv8 object detection model, OpenCV for image processing, and a State Machine mechanism to manage the verification workflow. The verification process begins with employee identification through ID card scanning, followed by real-time detection of the head, safety helmet, and face mask using a camera, before generating a final PASS or FAIL decision. System evaluation was conducted using 250 testing scenarios to assess both model and system performance. The results show that the YOLOv8 model achieved an mAP@50 of 93.9%, while the overall verification system obtained 98.4% accuracy, 98.4% precision, 100% recall, and a 99.2% F1-score. The implementation of the State Machine contributed to a more stable and consistent verification process by ensuring that each inspection stage was executed in the correct sequence. These findings demonstrate that the proposed system can effectively support automated PPE compliance monitoring and has the potential to enhance occupational safety management in industrial workplaces.

Along with the rapid growth of digital media, various forms of digital transactions have also developed.1 This development has driven changes in the payment system in Indonesia, one of which is through the implementation of QRIS (Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard). Despite its increasingly widespread use, there are still few studies that systematically examine user perceptions and the effectiveness of QRIS in improving transaction efficiency and strengthening the digital financial system. The purpose of this study is to identify and comprehensively analyze the results of previous studies related to QRIS use through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. Data were collected from Google Scholar and Garuda using the keywords "QRIS use", "QRIS payment system", and "QRIS transaction tool". The results show that QRIS can improve the efficiency and convenience of digital transactions, both for consumers and businesses, and facilitate the integration of financial services in a single platform. This study also aims to analyze the use of QRIS in public services. Using a descriptive qualitative research method, research data was taken from the results of searches of reliable sources including official websites, academic literature, theses, and national scientific journals relevant to the research topic. Thus, this may indicate that the success of QRIS is influenced by effective socialization, public awareness of transaction security, and equitable access to technology. The implications of this research provide a useful literature map for policy development and further studies in the field of digital finance.

Occupational health is an important aspect in maintaining worker productivity and safety, particularly in sectors with a high risk of chemical exposure such as gas stations (SPBU). Gas station workers are potentially exposed to hazardous chemical compounds such as benzene, toluene, and xylene which may affect the hematopoietic system and lead to decreased hemoglobin (Hb) levels. The use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is one of the preventive measures to minimize exposure to these hazardous substances. This study aimed to determine the relationship between the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and hemoglobin levels among female workers exposed to fuel at gas stations in Kendari City. This study employed a quantitative research design with a descriptive analytic approach using a cross-sectional method. The population in this study consisted of all female fuel filling operators working at gas stations in Kendari City, totaling 30 workers, who were all included as research samples. Data on PPE usage were obtained through observation and questionnaires, while hemoglobin levels were measured using a Hematology Analyzer with venous blood samples collected in EDTA tubes. Data analysis was conducted using univariate and bivariate statistical tests to determine the relationship between PPE usage and hemoglobin levels. The results showed that out of 30 respondents, 21 (70%) had normal hemoglobin levels and 9 (30%) had abnormal hemoglobin levels. A total of 20 respondents (66.7%) used PPE according to the required standards, while 10 respondents (33.3%) did not meet the PPE requirements. Statistical analysis showed a p-value of 0.104 (p > 0.05), indicating that there was no significant relationship between PPE usage and hemoglobin levels among female gas station workers in Kendari City. The study concludes that the use of PPE does not have a significant relationship with hemoglobin levels among female gas station workers in Kendari City. However, the consistent use of PPE is still recommended as a preventive measure to protect workers from exposure to hazardous chemicals in the workplace.

This community service program was implemented to address the needs of farmers in Kalicaah Village, Tanjung Jaya Village, Panimbang District, for an affordable, simple, and user-friendly fertilizing tool. Traditionally, the application of solid fertilizer has been done manually, which not only leads to inefficiency but also significantly increases the physical workload of farmers. To overcome this issue, the program team designed a solid fertilizer spreader using appropriate technology, constructed from recycled materials such as PVC pipes and used water gallons. This innovation was aimed at creating a sustainable, low-cost solution for the local agricultural community. The program’s implementation involved several key activities, including identifying the farmers' challenges, conducting assembly training sessions, demonstrating the tool’s use, and running direct field trials in local farms. The results showed that the use of the newly developed fertilizer spreader led to a 45% reduction in the time spent applying fertilizer, which directly contributed to more efficient farming practices. Additionally, there was a significant reduction in physical complaints, particularly lower back pain, which had been a common issue due to the manual labor involved in fertilizing. The tool proved to be easy to construct, requiring minimal technical knowledge, and the farmers were able to adopt the technology independently. The high rate of adoption among farmers further emphasizes the tool’s potential for widespread use. The success of this program also suggests that this simple, affordable technology could be replicated in other agricultural regions, benefiting more communities by improving work efficiency, reducing physical strain, and fostering a sustainable approach to farming practices.
