In today’s world, social media has become an everyday necessity for interacting and socializing with others, but it has both positive and negative effects, particularly on the younger generation. The roles of parents and educators are crucial in building the digital resilience of the younger generation. The solution is to provide early education to the younger generation, particularly new students for the 2025/2026 school year, during the School Orientation Program conducted by the UKMC Community Service Team. The purpose of this activity is to educate new students at SMK Xaverius Palembang to improve their understanding of digital literacy and online etiquette and to use social media more responsibly. The PkM Team served as guest speakers, presenting material on digital literacy and social media ethics, as well as real-life case studies, on Thursday, July 17, 2025, in the auditorium of SMK Xaverius Palembang. This activity is a community service initiative that uses interactive educational methods, in which the team presents five questions related to online gambling, fake news, cyberbullying, explicit content, and ending human trafficking in the form of digital posters, and the students explain them. The team also provided real-life examples and explained their causes and effects. Based on the results of the program, students demonstrated increased awareness of the risks associated with online gambling, fake news, cyberbullying, and explicit content, as well as the importance of combating human trafficking, and were more likely to adopt positive social media etiquette.

The rapid spread of hoaxes and disinformation in the digital era poses serious challenges to social cohesion, societal stability, and the internalization of moral values, particularly within Muslim communities. The circulation of unverified information has the potential to trigger conflict, polarization, and a decline in public trust. This study aims to explore digital literacy as an ethical and religious instrument in actualizing the Islamic principle of amar ma’ruf nahi munkar in the contemporary digital sphere. Employing a qualitative library research approach, the study examines classical Islamic sources, including the Qur’an and Hadith, alongside contemporary literature on digital communication ethics and digital citizenship. The findings indicate that digital literacy from an Islamic perspective extends beyond technical competence in accessing and disseminating information; it represents a form of moral responsibility (amanah) grounded in honesty (ash-shidq), prudence, and accountability. Practices such as information verification (tabayyun), clarification, and corrective engagement in online spaces are concrete expressions of amar ma’ruf nahi munkar. Strengthening ethically grounded digital literacy is therefore essential for fostering a healthy, just, and civilized digital public sphere.

Literacy is an individual's ability to understand, use and analyze information through various forms of language. Literacy includes understanding reading, writing and arithmetic, as well as the ability to process information critically and creatively. Through training in making media, comics and sketchbooks. Training activities are carried out in three stages, namely preparation, implementation and evaluation. Where training activities were carried out twice at the Sidomulyo Kulon Progo Literacy House. This training activity supports increasing children's interest in literacy at the Literacy House. Apart from that, the activities and making of wall media, comics and scratchbook can increase children's creativity.

Abstrak Pendidikan saat ini mengalami dinamika perubahan sehingga menuntut setiap individu untuk mampu berkompetisi. Tentunya hal ini menjadikan sekolah dan keluarga lebih peka akan pemberian pengetahuan kepada anak. Saat ini kemampuan literasi awal pada anak telah diupayakan untuk mendapat perhatian. Hal ini dikarenakan kemampuan literasi awal merupakan salah satu indikator siap atau tidaknya anak melanjutkan jenjang pendidikan berikutnya. Namun dilapangan para guru di TK Aisyah Cekel Karanganyar masih belum memahami literasi awal. Dengan demikian guru perlu memiliki pemahaman pembelajaran literasi awal. Tujuan yang dicapai dari program pengabdian ini yaitu pelatihan pengembangan pembelajaran literasi awal pada anak. Metode pelaksanaan yang dilakukan melalui metode pendekatan partisipatif, penyadaran, pembelajaran (teori dan praktek) dan reflektif. Adapun mekanisme pelaksanaan pengabdian meliputi persiapan, pelaksanaan pelatihan mencakup penyajian materi, evaluasi kegiatan, refleksi dan penutupan kegiatan. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi dan refleksi diperoleh adanya perubahan secara signifikan dan peningkatan akan pemahaman para guru terhadap pembelajaran literasi awal pada anak.
