The advancement of digital technology has triggered a transformation in the teaching and learning process, including in the teaching of Economics at the senior high school level. Social media, which initially served merely as a communication tool, is now utilized as an interactive and easily accessible alternative learning resource. This study aims to describe how social media is used in the Economics learning process at SMA Panca Marga Lamongan and to identify its benefits and challenges. The research employed a qualitative descriptive method with purposive sampling, involving one Economics teacher and eleventh-grade social science students. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, then processed and examined using the Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña analysis model. The findings show that social media platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok enhance students’ understanding of economic concepts in a more contextual and visual manner, as well as foster learning independence and participation. However, challenges include difficulties in filtering credible information and the potential for distraction when usage is not well-controlled. Thus, social media can serve as an effective learning resource when supported by strong digital literacy, clear teacher guidance, and proper management of its use.

The Public Speaking Training Program in English was conducted by mentioned lecturers) from Political Science Department and International Relations Department, Universitas Pembangunan Nasional Veteran Jakarta (UPNVJ through the reactivation of the English Club Reborn in Bekasi City. This is a community service initiative aimed at enhancing the English language skills of children, teenagers, and adults. In today's globalized world, proficiency in English is a vital skill that opens numerous opportunities in education and careers. Bekasi, as a rapidly developing city, has significant potential to serve as a buffer for the international city of DKI Jakarta. The long-term goal of this program is to create quality human resources ready to compete at both local and international levels. Methods to achieve these goals will include interactive classes, group discussions, and public speaking practice. Activities will be conducted regularly in the form of workshops, featuring experienced guest speakers. Additionally, the program will leverage digital technology to support learning through online platforms and social media. Expected outcomes of this program are enhanced English language skills among participants, the establishment of an active English Club community, and increased confidence in public speaking. Ultimately, this program aims to make a significant contribution to human resource development in Bekasi City. In addition, this program is also expected to become a model for education-based community development that can be replicated in other regions.

Science continues to advance over time. This development has led to the birth of various new technologies that mark the progress of the times. Currently, technology has entered the digital era, where almost all areas of life are beginning to utilize these advances to increase work efficiency and effectiveness. In Indonesia, digital transformation has also penetrated various sectors, including education. This change presents a significant opportunity for the world of education to expand access, improve the quality of learning, and encourage innovation in teaching methods. As an entity closely linked to human culture and civilization, education has undergone significant changes in the era of globalization. The use of digital technologies, such as online learning, learning management systems (LMS), and interactive media, has become an integral part of the educational process. This not only facilitates the delivery of material but also opens up more flexible and inclusive learning opportunities for various levels of society. However, behind these opportunities, challenges also arise, such as disparities in technology access, low digital literacy in some communities, and the need to adapt curricula and teaching methods to be relevant to current developments. Therefore, the success of educational transformation in the digital era depends not only on the availability of technology but also on the readiness of human resources, including educators and students, to optimize its use. Therefore, the development of digital science and technology has become a driving force for global educational change. Education is required to adapt quickly and accurately to produce a generation that is not only academically intelligent.

Advances in science and technology drive innovation in learning, especially through the optimization of learning media to foster students' interest in learning. This study aims to explore how the use of learning media can foster students' interest in learning at SMP Negeri 17 Batang Hari. The research approach is qualitative research with a case study approach, involving teachers and students as the main contributors. Information was collected through observation and in-depth interviews that focused on student engagement, material appeal, content clarity, learning motivation, digital interactivity, and changes in attitudes and values. The findings of this study indicate that learning media such as videos, images, animations, and digital applications can significantly increase student engagement and interest in learning. Visual aids enable students to understand abstract ideas in a more tangible way and facilitate the dissemination of content. Digital aids create an interactive and engaging learning environment that encourages students to be actively involved. Teachers also find these materials useful for clarifying exchanges, reducing words, and encouraging students to engage in structured reasoning. Learning Media not only improves academic achievement but also contributes to the emergence of values ​​such as collaboration, creativity, and digital ethics. This study concludes that optimizing learning media can produce a dynamic and relevant learning process, even though there are technical constraints in selecting learning tools that are tailored to student characteristics.
