The development of information technology has had a significant impact in various sectors, including in the management of social assistance programs. At the Social Service for Women's Empowerment and Child Protection of Batu Bara Regency, the evaluation process for the implementation of social assistance programs is still carried out manually, which causes delays in data collection, analysis, and report preparation. Therefore, an information system is needed that can help speed up and facilitate the evaluation of the program. This study aims to design a Social Assistance Program Evaluation Information System that can integrate data on aid recipients, types of assistance, recipient status, and program effectiveness evaluation. This system is designed using the Waterfall method which consists of the stages of needs analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The platform used in the development of this system is web-based to facilitate access from various devices. The results of this study show that the design of an integrated information system can increase efficiency in collecting evaluation data and speed up the reporting process to related parties. In addition, this system is expected to increase transparency and accountability in the implementation of social assistance programs, so that the impact of the program can be more measurable and on target.

The digital age has brought significant changes to human life, from the way we communicate to work patterns and access to information. However, these technological advances also pose major challenges to human dignity, including the threat of dehumanization, exploitation of personal data, and unequal access to technology.  This article uses a qualitative method with a descriptive-analytical approach through literature review and case study analysis. The article finds that the digital age has an ambivalent impact: on the one hand, it presents opportunities such as wider access to information, economic empowerment, and strengthening intercultural dialogue; on the other hand, it also exacerbates dehumanization, privacy violations, and the digital divide. Through the Redemptor Hominis framework, this article asserts the importance of placing human beings at the center of technological innovation, with the principles of solidarity and justice as ethical foundations.

The concept of criminal responsibility in national criminal law is the main basis for determining sanctions or punishment for violations of criminal law. In the future era, criminal responsibility is expected to continue to develop and adapt to developments in society, technology and existing legal values. In facing the future, the concept of criminal responsibility is expected to become more progressive, fair and in line with the demands of social justice. Improving the quality of punishment and the effectiveness of the criminal justice system needs to be the main focus, taking into account the principles of human rights, protection of minorities and restorative justice. In addition, the importance of a preventive approach in national criminal law will be increasingly emphasized. Efforts to prevent criminal acts through education, rehabilitation and community empowerment are expected to reduce crime rates and create a safer environment. In the context of globalization, collaboration between countries in tackling cross-border crime needs to be strengthened. International agreements on extradition, exchange of information, and harmonization of criminal law can be strategic steps to increase the effectiveness of law enforcement. By updating the concept of criminal responsibility in national criminal law, it is hoped that a legal system that is adaptive, responsive and can better respond to future challenges can be created. In this way, security and justice in society can be more optimally maintained, in line with the main objective of criminal law to create order and protection for all citizens.

The use of appropriate theories to study community empowerment and capacity building of the River School, including community empowerment through CSR programs, River Schools as a model of environmental education, the role of PLN CSR in environmental education at River Schools, early environmental awareness through CSR and River Schools, the impact of CSR programs on community empowerment and independence. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study of community empowerment through PLN CSR to explore early environmental awareness The location of this research was carried out in Gunung Anyar Tambak Village Rt.01 Rw.01 Surabaya, which is an area used by Bank Sampah by PT. PLN (Persero). The PLN CSR program involving various parties in environmental education has a positive impact on shaping the mindset of the community who are more concerned about environmental sustainability. Awareness built early on, especially in children and adolescents, is expected to produce a generation that is more responsive to environmental issues. Counseling involving schools in this sub-district has proven effective in building a deeper understanding, which can then be passed on to their families. Therefore, it is important for PLN to continue to assist the community, provide adequate facilities and infrastructure, and provide incentives or awards for those who succeed in protecting the environment and managing resources wisely.

This study explores the effect of Islamic microfinance on empowering rural communities through environmentally sustainable business practices. Rural areas often face significant financial exclusion, with limited access to ethical financial services, particularly for eco-friendly enterprises. Islamic microfinance, grounded in Sharia principles such as risk-sharing, ethical investment, and the prohibition of interest (riba), offers an alternative financing model that can potentially foster both economic and environmental sustainability. The objective of this research is to analyze the impact of Islamic microfinance on rural communities, focusing on income growth, the adoption of environmentally sustainable business practices, and social empowerment. Using a mixed-methods approach, the study combines field surveys and interviews with beneficiaries of Islamic microfinance institutions (IMFIs) in rural areas. Data collection tools included questionnaires, focus group discussions, and institutional reports. Key findings reveal that participants in Islamic microfinance programs experienced significant income growth, an increase in environmentally friendly entrepreneurship (e.g., organic farming and recycling businesses), and enhanced community participation and self-reliance. The discussion highlights how Sharia principles encourage ethical investment and sustainable practices, contributing to a triple-bottom-line impact—economic, social, and environmental. However, challenges such as limited awareness, lack of green finance literacy, and regulatory constraints were identified. A comparison between Islamic and conventional microfinance outcomes showed that Islamic microfinance offers a distinct advantage by integrating moral, social, and ecological responsibilities. The study concludes that Islamic microfinance can serve as a transformative tool for rural development, offering solutions to both economic and environmental challenges. The research underscores the need for supportive policy frameworks and further investigation into the long-term impacts of green Islamic finance.

This article examines the theological basis and implementation of mission in the New Testament and its relevance to the church today. This research is motivated by the crisis of missionary identity in the church amid the challenges of globalization, secularization, ecological crisis, and relativism of truth. The main focus of this research is on the concept of missio Dei, which emphasizes that mission originates from the initiative of the Triune God, not solely from the church. The objective is to analyze the theological foundations of mission in the New Testament and how the church lives out its calling as a sent community. The method used is qualitative, employing a literature review approach to the Bible, theological literature, and academic journals. The main findings show that mission is the identity of the church, not just one of its programs. Mission in the New Testament is Trinitarian, holistic, and includes the proclamation of the Gospel, acts of love, social justice, and the formation of an inclusive community. The early church set an example through its living witness and cross-cultural evangelism. In the contemporary context, implementing mission requires contextual approaches such as digital ministry, social empowerment, discipleship, and interdenominational collaboration. The synthesis of key ideas emphasizes that mission cannot be separated from the existence of the church; without mission, the church loses its identity. In conclusion, the church today is challenged to return to the contextual, transformative, and Spirit-led mission of the New Testament to remain relevant in an ever-changing world.
