This study aims to examine the development of teachers’ multicultural competence at SMA Ta'miriyah Surabaya. The study employed a qualitative approach using a case study design. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving the principal and teachers as research informants. Data analysis applied the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldana, which consisted of data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings revealed that the development of teachers’ multicultural competence at SMA Ta'miriyah was carried out through three main pathways. First, training programs that implicitly integrated multicultural values into general educational programs, such as the teacher mobilization program. Second, organizational development grounded in Islamic values as the foundation for fostering tolerance and respect for diversity, implemented through curriculum integration, school regulations, teacher role modeling, and collaboration among teachers. Third, career development, which remained primarily focused on academic aspects and had not explicitly incorporated indicators of multicultural competence. Teachers’ multicultural competence at SMA Ta'miriyah was reflected in three main dimensions. In terms of knowledge, teachers acquired understanding through teaching experience, formal education, and training. In terms of attitudes, teachers demonstrated tolerant and inclusive behavior when interacting with students from diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds. In terms of skills, teachers were able to manage classroom diversity harmoniously through adaptive and responsive pedagogical approaches that accommodated students’ differences.

This study aims to examine the role of information technology (IT) professional ethics as a preventive instrument in facing the escalation of cyber crime in Indonesia. Using the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method with the PRISMA protocol, 17 selected scientific literature from the 2020-2026 period were analyzed comprehensively. The results of the study indicate that dominant operating modes such as ransomware on national infrastructure and mass data breaches in the banking and health sectors are rooted in the neglect of integrity and accountability principles. The discussion in this study confirms that the application of professional ethics based on the PAPA (Privacy, Accuracy, Property, Accessibility) framework is able to suppress the risk of internal threats and strengthen digital defense. The conclusion of the study shows that the synergy between the 2024 ITE Law regulations and the internalization of the professional code of ethics is the main key to data sovereignty in the digital era. The practical implications of this research recommend strengthening the ethics curriculum in IT higher education and ethical compliance audits in the public sector.

The moral crisis faced by the Indonesian nation is a serious challenge that can threaten the integrity and sustainability of the country's future. Phenomena such as corruption, intolerance, and weakening social integrity are clear evidence of the declining implementation of the noble values ​​contained in Pancasila. Pancasila Education has a strategic position in building national character and instilling moral values, especially in the younger generation. This article aims to examine the moral crisis in Indonesia and analyze the role of Pancasila Education in providing solutions to these problems. This study uses a literature research method to assess the relevance of Pancasila values ​​and the effectiveness of the implementation of Pancasila Education. The study results show that Pancasila values ​​such as religiosity, humanity, unity, democracy, and social justice have great potential in forming moral individuals. However, there are various challenges, including low student interest, lack of innovation in teaching, and the influence of globalization that can hinder the optimization of Pancasila Education. To overcome these obstacles, strategic steps are needed such as strengthening the curriculum, improving the quality of educators, and collaboration between families, schools, and the community. With maximum implementation, Pancasila Education can be the main key to rebuilding the nation's morality.

Science learning in elementary schools requires evaluation strategies that are able to measure conceptual understanding while enhancing students’ motivation and engagement. One of the contextual science topics in Grade VI that requires visualization is the adaptation of living organisms. However, science learning evaluation is still dominated by conventional assessment instruments that are less varied and have not optimally utilized digital technology. This study aims to examine the development of an interactive question bank based on Quizlet as an alternative assessment tool for science learning on the topic of adaptation of living organisms in Grade VI elementary schools. This study employs a qualitative approach using a literature review method by analyzing relevant scientific articles, books, and educational policy documents. The results of the review indicate that a Quizlet-based interactive question bank has the potential to improve the quality of learning evaluation through the use of varied and interactive questions accompanied by immediate feedback. The use of Quizlet also supports student-centered learning and aligns with the principles of meaningful assessment promoted in the Merdeka Curriculum.

In contemporary higher education, English for Specific Purposes (ESP) is increasingly expected to prepare learners for meaningful professional participation rather than isolated linguistic performance. Nevertheless, ESP pedagogy has often remained predominantly skill-oriented, with limited conceptual integration of pedagogical innovations such as project-based learning and digital learning. This study presents a systematic literature review of 40 peer-reviewed studies examining how ESP pedagogy is being reframed as situated professional practice through the integration of project-based and digital learning. Following the process of thematic synthesis, the review provides an examination of what ESP learning is perceived to be, how it is conducted and how it is evaluated in different disciplines and countries. Results show a marked pedagogical transition from a language-centric approach to one that incorporated more authenticity, collaboration and professional concern. Reported learning attainments go beyond language to cover professional capability, digital literacy, autonomous learning and identity development. Project-based learning authenticates language use in professional workflows, and digital learning environments support multimodal communication reminiscent of the way people work today. This review contends that in combination, these perspectives re-conceptualise the pedagogical nature of ESP as a type of applied professional education ’realised’ within particular social, institutional and discipline specific contexts. By synthesizing empirical evidence across settings, the study offers a conceptual reframing of ESP pedagogy and outlines implications for curriculum design, assessment, and future research in higher education and the social humanities.

The use of the social media platform TikTok as a learning medium in Social Studies (IPS) has emerged as an innovative strategy to enhance students’ learning creativity and engagement in the digital era and within the Merdeka Curriculum framework. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of TikTok in supporting creative learning processes, particularly in helping students understand Social Studies content in a visual, interactive, and easily accessible manner. The research was conducted through an online training seminar involving teachers and students, which included material delivery, demonstrations of TikTok usage, hands-on practice in creating learning content, and trial implementation in classroom learning activities. The analysis focused on three main aspects: (1) the improvement of teachers’ competencies in designing creative TikTok-based learning media, (2) students’ responses and learning experiences when using the platform, and (3) the effectiveness of the media in enhancing students’ understanding of Social Studies concepts. The results indicate that the use of TikTok improves the quality of learning media created by teachers and facilitates students’ independent learning. Pre-test and post-test data show an increase in students’ conceptual understanding, while student responses reveal a high level of learning interest through visual and interactive media. Nevertheless, several challenges related to device availability and internet connectivity were identified among some participants. In conclusion, TikTok is effective as an independent learning medium for Social Studies and contributes positively to improving students’ understanding and learning motivation. The study recommends continuous mentoring for teachers, strengthening ICT infrastructure, and further development of diverse learning media to support learning needs within the Merdeka Curriculum.

The phenomenon of religion-based radicalism remains a serious threat to the sustainability of national and state life, including within educational institutions. Educational institutions hold a strategic role in instilling religious values that are peaceful, tolerant, and civilized. Therefore, religious moderation education has become a vital approach as a preventive measure against radical ideologies. This study aims to examine the role and urgency of religious moderation education as a shield against radicalism in educational institutions. The research method employed is a literature study, analyzing various literatures such as books, scientific articles, and policy documents related to religious moderation and character education. The results show that religious moderation education can instill the values of tawassuth (moderation), tasamuh (tolerance), tawazun (balance), and i‘tidal (justice) in students. These values contribute significantly to forming religious attitudes that are inclusive, humanistic, and non-violent. The implementation of religious moderation education in educational institutions can be achieved through curriculum integration, educator role-modeling, the cultivation of school culture, and the strengthening of contextual religious literacy. Thus, religious moderation education plays a crucial role as an ideological and moral fortress in preventing the entry and growth of radicalism within the educational environment.

This study aims to examine the influence of internship experience, work competencies, and career flexibility on the employability readiness of students from the Management Study Program at Universitas Maritim Raja Ali Haji in entering the workforce. A survey method with a quantitative approach was applied to 114 respondents selected randomly. Data was collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression with SPSS version 22. The results show that internship experience does not significantly affect students' readiness to enter the workforce. However, work skills and career flexibility variables have a positive and significant impact on employability readiness. Overall, these three factors contribute positively and significantly to students' readiness to enter the workforce. The findings highlight the importance of integrated development within the higher education curriculum, including improving work skills and career adaptation to better prepare students for professional challenges. Therefore, higher education institutions need to consider these factors when designing more relevant and adequate educational programs for students.

The development of digital technology requires elementary school teachers to design learning activities that are active, collaborative, and meaningful in accordance with the Merdeka Curriculum. This study aims to describe the design of collaborative learning media on the topic Benefits of Plants for Humans and Animals for third-grade elementary students by utilizing Seesaw as a project collection platform and Qreatif Educative as an interactive learning material media. This study employed a qualitative approach using a literature study method. Data were collected through the review of textbooks, national and international scientific journals, and curriculum documents relevant to the research topic. The results indicate that the integration of Qreatif Educative and Seesaw aligns with constructivist and contextual learning theories. Qreatif Educative supports students’ conceptual understanding through visual and interactive content, while Seesaw facilitates collaborative learning through project submission, reflection, and feedback. This collaborative learning media design has the potential to enhance students’ engagement, collaboration skills, and conceptual understanding in IPAS learning for third-grade elementary school students. Therefore, the use of Seesaw and Qreatif Educative can serve as an alternative digital learning media to support active and meaningful learning in elementary education.

This study seeks to analyze the ideas and practices of transnational Islamic educational ideologies and their impact on Islamic educational institutions across diverse local settings. Employing a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method, the research systematically reviews a range of relevant scholarly sources, including peer-reviewed journal articles, dissertations, and research reports published between 2014 and 2024. The findings demonstrate that transnational movements such as Salafism, the Muslim Brotherhood, and Hizbut Tahrir significantly influence curriculum design, religious orientation, and the institutional culture of Islamic education. Nevertheless, this influence does not operate in a straightforward or uniform manner; instead, it is shaped through continuous negotiation with local contexts, particularly via state regulations, sociocultural conditions, and adaptive educational practices. The study highlights that local actors actively reinterpret and mediate transnational ideological frameworks to align them with national educational policies and community needs. Overall, this research offers comprehensive insights into the complex interactions between transnational Islamic ideologies and the ongoing transformation of contemporary Islamic education in different socio-political environments.
