The relocation of the Social Welfare Shelter Environment (Lingkungan Pondok Sosial/Liponsos) in Sidoarjo represents a strategic effort to address social and spatial issues characterized by overcapacity, limited facilities, and an inadequate living environment that does not fully support the physical and psychological needs of people with social welfare problems (PMKS). These conditions indicate that the challenges faced by Liponsos are not merely social in nature but are also closely related to the quality of the built environment, which significantly influences the rehabilitation and recovery process of its residents. Therefore, a human-centered design approach is required in planning social service facilities. This study aims to analyze the application of humanistic architecture principles in the planned relocation of the Sidoarjo Liponsos as a foundation for creating a more livable, dignified, and user-oriented environment. The research employs a literature review method by collecting data from relevant books, journals, regulations, and previous studies. The analysis is conducted using descriptive and content analysis to examine the relationship between humanistic architectural principles and the needs of residents within social welfare facilities. The results indicate that the humanistic architectural approach is highly relevant to the relocation of Liponsos, particularly through spatial zoning based on levels of privacy and security, the provision of green open spaces and communal areas as media for social interaction and therapeutic activities, and the design of self-development spaces that support rehabilitation and empowerment. The implementation of these principles is expected to create a built environment that not only fulfills basic functional requirements but also supports psychological recovery, social stability, and sustainable improvement in the quality of life of PMKS residents.

Budget efficiency is an important issue in state financial management because it is directly related to government spending priorities and their impact on public service programs. Discussions about budget efficiency policies are widespread on social media platform X, generating diverse public responses, thus necessitating an automated approach to understand public opinion trends more quickly and objectively. This research aims to analyze the sentiment of Indonesian people toward budget efficiency policies and compare the performance of the Naïve Bayes and Support Vector Machine (SVM) algorithms in classifying sentiment. The research data used 10,909 Indonesian-language tweets sourced from a public dataset, which were then processed thru the preprocessing stages including cleaning, case folding, normalization, tokenization, stopword removal, and stemming. Sentiment labeling is performed automatically using the Indonesian Sentiment Lexicon (InSet) approach to categorize data into positive, negative, and neutral sentiments. Feature extraction was performed using Term Frequency–Inverse Document Frequency (TF-IDF), and then the data was divided into training and testing sets with an 80:20 ratio. Model performance evaluation was conducted using a confusion matrix and the metrics of accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score. The research results show that sentiment distribution is dominated by negative sentiment at 56.78%, followed by positive sentiment at 37.40%, and neutral sentiment at 5.83%. In the classification stage, SVM performed best with an accuracy of 86%, while Naïve Bayes achieved an accuracy of 74%. These findings indicate that SVM is more optimal for sentiment classification on social media text data and can be utilized to more effectively support the analysis of public response to budget efficiency policies.

Tenure conflicts in forest areas are long-standing structural issues in various regions of Indonesia, including Popayato Sub-district in Gorontalo Province. These conflicts arise from overlapping land claims between local communities, companies, and the state, directly affecting the socio-economic and ecological conditions of surrounding populations. This study aims to analyze the social and environmental impacts of tenure conflicts in Popayato's forest areas and assess the roles of stakeholders in seeking sustainable solutions. A qualitative case study approach was applied through in-depth interviews, field observations, and thematic analysis. Findings reveal that communities face restricted access to productive land and forest resources, disrupting livelihoods and local cultural sustainability. Ecologically, tenure disputes have triggered illegal land clearing and significant forest degradation. Local governments have made mediation efforts, yet face challenges in coordination and policy inconsistency. Civil society organizations play a crucial role in advocating community rights through participatory mapping and the promotion of legal recognition via social forestry schemes. This study recommends resolving tenure conflicts through collaborative approaches that uphold principles of social and ecological justice, including strengthening local institutions, participatory boundary mapping, and developing inclusive conservation-based business models. In doing so, sustainable forest management can be achieved by recognizing local rights and enhancing community participation in decision-making processes.

Surabaya, a city with high population density in East Java, faces challenges in managing land for reforestation. To address this issue, the Surabaya Green and Clean (SGC) Program was introduced, focusing on greening and waste management. One of the proposed solutions is hydroponics, a soilless farming method that can be applied on limited land. On July 28, 2024, community service activities were carried out in Kalijudan Village, Mulyorejo District, Surabaya City, to introduce and increase public knowledge about hydroponics. This activity involved socialization and practical hydroponic planting with the participation of 25 residents. The program consisted of preparation stages, socialization, planting practices, and report preparation. Socialization included exposure to hydroponic theory and practical demonstrations, while each participant received tools and materials for home experiments. The planting method with rockwool has proven effective in supporting plant growth, while the distributed eco-enzyme provided dual benefits by increasing plant growth and reducing household waste. This program successfully introduced hydroponic technology and increased awareness of sustainable urban agriculture. Hopefully, this activity will be the first step in developing hydroponics and creating a greener environment in Surabaya.

Indonesian people are increasingly creative and innovative in making new recipes to add to their daily food needs, besides that they are also creative in making snacks typical of their region. Currently, according to young people and parents, snacks are much loved, besides that with a distinctive taste from the West Java region in the city of Bandung which is familiar to be heard or felt by people who mostly like snacks with a spicy taste, namely "Seblak". The business being run certainly requires a way to attract customers to come and try it, therefore it is necessary to hold consistent marketing, marketing is carried out by promotional activities which is one of the important ways to compete not based on price but taste quality. The results of observations that I have made meeting directly with seblak owners mention the problems faced by the lack of understanding of the management and business planning needed, especially in terms of marketing, which currently requires the use of technology in its implementation. MSME empowerment requires more comprehensive and systematic planning that is able to facilitate MSMEs in solving the problems they face. As well as readiness in the use of technology such as promotional activities that are not only carried out through automatic whatsapp with a limited range of buyers, followed by promotions carried out through social media such as Instagram and Facebook because they are social media that are used more frequently so that the sales market is also wider, and currently in the age of all technology we can also take advantage of technology to do business by selling products in marketplaces such as gofood, gojek, grab etc.. That way, increasing the empowerment of MSMEs is increasingly developing from various sides.

Waste management is something that must receive extra attention from the community itself and from actors whose activities produce remnants of production that will be disposed of, with all consideration of the impacts resulting from the waste, both good and bad impacts, a waste management is needed so that waste-producing parties can wisely treat the rest of their productivity activities. Which is where the ultimate goal can create a social life in a healthy, peaceful, safe, and comfortable society so as to minimize and even eliminate social conflicts that occur due to waste problems in society.

Abstract: Covid-19 or better known as the Corona Virus has become a public concern since its appearance was detected in China for the first time in early 2020. The death of thousands of people due to this virus has made it the center of attention of many countries, including Indonesia. The COVID-19 pandemic has proven to have put pressure on economic and social conditions in Indonesia since the end of 2019. Traditional markets have become places where many people from various places gather, resulting in an increased risk of infection. The risk of infection is not only for traders, but also for buyers and their families and people they meet or have close contact with, so it is very necessary to implement health protocols by market traders.
