The method in this study uses a qualitative method by conducting a survey to find out the benefits of the database at the UIN North Sumatra Library and what facilities are obtained by implementing the database in managingits information system. The results obtained from this study are that the North Sumatra Uin Library utilizes databases in improving services by carrying out several developments such as an online library, an application called OPAC, an application that makes it easy to check library collections and a web called repository which is a collection application. the work of students. Libraries that previously only used the recording method but have switched to using online by utilizing databases.

Internet connections that are not always stable and data security is not maintained from various threats from outside attacks in the form of hackers, crackers, viruses, and so on are the main problems for every client. Using the pfSense analysis method, this study aims to address the above bandwidth management and network security issues. The pfSense analysis that the researchers carried out included an analysis of total bandwidth usage, data security, and information for each client on the P3DW Internet network (Center for Regional Revenue Management) Bandung III Soekarno-Hatta City. The results of the analysis concluded that pfSense can work as a firewall that functions as a bandwidth limiter and network security. The level of client satisfaction increases with the infrastructure designs being tested. With a web GUI that makes it easy for users to configure, the basic system used is FreeBSD which is open-source, making pfSense able to be an alternative choice for building a firewall that is reliable, flexible, and economical.

The purpose of this study was to determine the performance of the Kupang City Health Office in supervising the quality of refill drinking water depots and to find aut the factors that influencer the performance of the Kupang City Health Office. This research is empirical juridikal in nature, namely capturing the legal provisions that apply and what is happening in this case interviews to obtain an overview of data related to research problems. The sampling method used is purposive sampling, namely by choose informants who are considered knowledgeable and trustworthy to be data sources. The results of this study are the influence of tasks and functions of the health office in supervicing drinking water depots, seen from the large number of depots that do not have official business permits. The peformance of the kupang City Health Office in supervising the quality of refill drinking  water depots is not good enough, and there is still a need for improvement in terms of productivity and also the need for member personnel to be equitablein monitoring activities.

Deciding to open a new branch takes a long time because the criteria given may not meet the desired criteria. And in determining a place is not easy because you have to know the distance between one branch to another, so it requires a strategic and efficient place so that the shop owner can be accepted easily by a consumer. Therefore, to be more effective and efficient, a system is needed that functions to assist an entrepreneur in determining which place is suitable for occupancy. In this research, the method that will be used is Simple Addicie Wighting (SAW). The SAW method will process data by assigning a weight value to the criteria that will be used as a reference by making decisions after which a decision matrix value will be made based on the criteria. From the results of the study, it can be the best recommendation for the shop owner to establish a strategic place of business in accordance with the wishes of Sinar Rizky Stores. The growing development of shopping centers in the city of Medan creates business opportunities, starting from creating innovations in business opportunities. Currently, there are many kinds of markets emerging to accommodate business people, both new and old. So that many design problems have arisen in the display booth, the selection of appropriate materials and construction systems so as to answer the need for displays that have many functions (multifunctional), namely as accommodation for clothing display needs that are easy to disassemble (knockdown). In addition, to market their products, this market activity is an alternative to promote their brand, so that it can be known by the wider community. The method used in this design starts from the empathize and define stages starting from data collection, direct observation and interviews, both to tenants and pop-up market organizers. After the data collection stage is complete, the existing data is then analyzed. Then proceed to the ideate stage, through the process of brainstorming ideas, solving a problem, and determining the values ​​of the design. After the ideate stage, proceed to the prototype stage, where the process of visualizing ideas to get the desired results to the manufacturing stage is realized in the form of a prototype with a scale of 1:1. After the prototype is finished, a test is carried out to get feedback from users and refined through the implementation stage to perfect the product. The result of this design is that products that have been designed are oriented to be transformed into various models from the same material, with functions that can accommodate the needs of clothing displays that are still fulfilled in each module. The application of the modular concept is applied with a knockdown system, using a stalbuis pipe consisting of 3 sizes, namely, 40 cm, 21.2 cm, and 20 cm. To connect the stalbuis pipe using uno joker connections, nuts and bolts connections, and inner connections. As a flat cross section using canvas tarpaulin which consists of 2 sizes, namely, 13 cm x 51 cm and 4 cm x 51 cm.

The Internet, as a digital medium, has brought about various conveniences over time. Social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter are commonly utilized for information seeking and sharing. Among the information disseminated on social media is the increasingly prevalent Covid-19 information from 2019 to 2021. Irresponsible individuals spread hoax information, leading audiences to trust such misinformation. Therefore, Communication Science students, who will enter the media realm, require proficient media literacy skills. This research employs descriptive methods to comprehend occurring phenomena, utilizing purposive sampling for informant selection. The study includes 184 respondents from the 2016-2019 student cohorts. Descriptive qualitative analysis, complemented by scale range conversion, is used to transform qualitative data into quantitative format. The research aims to assess Communication Science students' media literacy skills through the Individual Competence Framework, comprising technical skills, critical understanding, and communicative abilities. Findings indicate students' proficient use of computers and the Internet. While they comprehend social media content and functions well, improvements are needed in behavior and regulation. Additionally, enhancing communication and relationship-building skills on social networking sites, as well as community participation and content production through these platforms, is imperative, suggesting the necessity for further development.

This study aimed to identify the features of women's language used by the female characters of the Cruella movie. The types of women's language features were identified based on the theory proposed by Coates (2013). The data of this study were taken from the female characters’ speech in the movie through observation and documentation methods. Screenshot and note-taking techniques were also used in the process of collecting the data in order to maintain the detail and accuracy of the data. The collected data were classified into the category of women's language features and analysed descriptively using qualitative research methods. The research findings were presented in the form of conversation from the data chosen that presented above the analyzing description. The results of this study showed that the female characters used all types of women's language in the movie Cruella, including; minimal responses, questions, hedges, tag questions, swearing and taboo language, compliments, and commands and directives.

This study focuses on the management of gear pump maintenance on KM Kelimutu ship. Data collection methods are used to identify and investigate the causes of damage that occur in the gear pump. The required maintenance and repair actions are determined based on the analysis results. The process of managing maintenance involves several important steps. First, planning is carried out to determine the planned maintenance actions. Subsequently, organization is conducted by appointing responsible personnel and coordinating with relevant parties to minimize disruptions to the maintenance of equipment and other machinery on the ship. Furthermore, actuating involves efforts to ensure that all human resources work according to their tasks, functions, and competencies in order to achieve company goals. Finally, control is implemented through supervision of each job performed to identify and rectify any potential errors. The results of this study provide insights into the importance of gear pump maintenance and effective strategies in managing the maintenance process. By implementing the appropriate steps, it is expected to enhance the performance of the gear pump, extend its service life, and optimize operational efficiency in the industry.

Community service carried out by tertiary institutions should be able to carry out the functions of developing, implementing and utilizing educational and research darma products. Even though until today there are still many tertiary institutions that still misinterpret community service, in fact, the people who are targeted ultimately have a wrong perception of the tertiary darma program, where people think they get assistance for free. This ultimately forms the perception that community service activities that have been carried out by PTN and PTS, tend to lead to community service activities which are carried out free of charge. The purpose of this writing is to explain theoretically how the concept of community service really is and how it is implemented in the midst of society. Based on the discussion that has been carried out, it can be concluded that tertiary education services to the community as an institutional implementation of science, technology and arts and culture through scientific methodology so as to accelerate the rate of growth in achieving national development goals. The implementation of community service carried out by tertiary institutions has the scope of service as the practice of science, technology, and art which can include the development of science, technology and art into products that can be directly utilized by the community; Application of science, technology, and art that is relevant to the needs of the community and the demands of development; Provision of expertise assistance to the community in solving development problems; Development of research results which, according to university studies, can be utilized for the benefit of society and development so that these research results can directly benefit society and development.

This article examines the analysis of sentence types in the History Text of Class XI Sociology Books in the Merdeka Curriculum. The content of this study uses narrative text. The purpose of this study is to describe functions, categories, and roles at the syntactic level. sentences in the presentation of sociology book material for class XI SMA/MA contained in Chapter 2 Social Problems Due to Social Grouping pages 41 to 81. This research is a literature study. Therefore, the method used in collecting data is reading and taking notes. The collected data were analyzed by descriptive analysis. In qualitative research, data is analyzed inductively, which means that specific things found during the research are grouped and conclusions are drawn from these results. This approach does not use the collected data to prove or disprove the hypotheses that have been made before but rather focuses on describing data to facilitate understanding. The writing method of this research adopts historiography as the main approach. Sentence structure analysis is also used to improve grammar skills and abilities to better understand. Sentence structure analysis itself is a topic that is rarely discussed. To improve the application of linguistic rules in writing historical texts, a good understanding of grammar, a broad vocabulary, and a habit of reading and writing historical texts are required. Therefore by analyzing sentence structures in historical texts in Sociology Class XI books SMA/SMA/ MA Kurikulum Merdeka, this research provides an overview of the variations in the use of sentence structures and the importance of correct grammar in understanding texts. It is hoped that this research can improve understanding of syntax and grammar which will facilitate understanding of sociology and historical texts.

This research was conducted at the Grand Dian Hotel Brebes which aims to analyze and explain the influence of service quality, image and function of OTA (online travel agent) which is in poor condition due to lack of updates from OTA (Online Travel Agent) about hotel information, and prices from OTA (Online Travel Agent) is unstable. Research data obtained through questionnaires and interviews. The sample used in the study were 94 respondents. The research results are expected to provide useful information for management and employees. The data obtained were processed using descriptive analysis and quantitative statistical analysis. Quantitative analysis used multiple regression analysis to determine the effect of the independent variable on the dependent variable, test the model, test the hypothesis, and before doing the test, the validity and reliability tests were carried out first. The results of the regression analysis show that the increase in guest decisions to stay is directly influenced by the quality of service, image and function (online travel agent). The results of the multiple regression analysis test showed a significant F value, with a correlation value of determination adjusted R2 square of 0.610. This shows that the quality of service, image and function (online travel agent) significantly influence the decision of guests to stay together with a close relationship of 61.0%. This shows that to improve the decision of staying guests, it is necessary to improve the quality of service, as well as the image and function of a good OTA (online travel agent) in the eyes of the community, it will increase the decision of guests to stay in the next period.

This study aims to analyze the responsibilities of directors in a company through a legal approach. In this context, the responsibility of directors refers to the legal obligations attached to directors in carrying out their duties and functions in a company. This study uses the literature analysis method to collect data from various legal sources, such as laws, court decisions, and related literature. The results of the research show that the responsibility of directors in a company has a strong legal basis. The directors have an obligation to act in good faith, carry out the functions of managing the company, and protect the interests of the company and its shareholders. They must make rational decisions, based on careful consideration and adequate information. However, there are several issues that need to be considered regarding the responsibilities of directors in the company. One of them is the potential problem of law violations by the directors, whether intentional or unintentional. In this regard, there needs to be an effective oversight and accountability mechanism in place to ensure that directors are held accountable for their actions.

He University of 17 August 1945 Surabaya is one of the universities that has a large number of students, lecturers and employees. It is not uncommon for sellers in the cafeteria to find it difficult to make transactions and errors often occur in calculating the number of transactions because they are still done manually. In this research, a payment system has been developed that uses the Bakoel POS application. Bakoel POS will utilize sensors to read data that will assist in the transaction process. Bakoel POS application design for the canteen payment system. This application is designed as a transaction process in the canteen. Transactions in the canteen include ordering and payment processes. It can be concluded that the Canteen Digital Accounting System Using the Bakoel POS Application has been designed to make it easier for canteen keepers in carrying out the sales process and can increase time efficiency in making transactions. From the test results, it can be seen that this application functions well for the efficiency of payment transactions at the Surabaya Untag canteen cashier.  

This type of research is experimental research with a Quasy Experiment approach. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of the Make A Match learning model on student learning outcomes in science learning about plant parts and their functions for class IV MI Al-Abrar Makassar City. The total population in this study was 60 students. The sample used in this study was total sampling, namely 34 students in class IV A and 26 students in class IV B. The research design used is the Nonequivalent Control Group, which divides the class into two groups, namely the experimental class and the control class. The research procedure includes pretest, treatment, and posttest. The research instruments were observation sheets and learning achievement tests. Data collection techniques from this study were observation, tests (pretest-posttest) and documentation. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The results showed that the hypothesis test using the t-test. The results of the study obtained tcount = 11.854, ttable = 2.918, so tcount>ttable or 11.854 > 2.918 and the sig (2-tailed) value was obtained 0.00, so 0.00 <0.05 was obtained. So it can be concluded that H0 is rejected, H1 is accepted. Based on the results of the research above, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the Make A Match learning model on student learning outcomes in science learning about plant parts and their functions for class IV MI Al-Abrar Makassar City.

The study entitled “An Analysis of The Main Character's Speech Functions in The Movie "Turning Red"”. It aims to identify the types of the speech functions and to find out the most prominent speech functions used by the main character named Meilin Lee. The research method used in this study is the qualitative method with the elaboration in the discussion. Furthermore, the analysis of this study used the theory proposed by Holmes (2013) which is the five of speech functions (expressive, directive, referential, metalinguistic, poetic, and phatic functions). The findings show that there are only three speech functions found in the movie Turning Red. They are the expressive function (17 cases), directive functions (34 cases), and phatic functions (26 cases). In addition, the most prominent speech functions used by the main character are the directive functions which serve thirty-four cases, followed by phatic that has twenty-six, and expressive that has only seventeen cases

The research method used in this article is literature study which is supported by various sources, both in the form of previously published books and national journals.

Eco Enzyme is a result of organic waste fermentation, derived from leftover fruits, vegetables, sugar, and water. It was first discovered by Dr. Rosukon Poompanvong, a member of the Organic Farming Association from Thailand. Eco Enzyme serves as a versatile liquid for household, agricultural, and livestock purposes. According to an article by Vama & Chekar in 2020, eco enzyme can be utilized as an antifungal, antibacterial, insecticide agent, and cleaner. Some of its functions include being a floor cleaner, dish cleaner, and toilet cleaner.The author created a business around eco enzyme using leftover fruits. The raw materials for eco enzyme are obtained from fruits that are no longer consumable or have become spoiled. Although there have been numerous studies on utilizing leftover fruits for eco enzyme production, not many people in the community are aware of or use eco enzyme. Therefore, the author came up with the idea of a business centered around eco enzyme, both as a value proposition for utilizing leftover fruits and as a means to educate people who are unfamiliar with eco enzyme.

Research on the analysis of "Values ​​and Functions of Tradision Manten Mubeng Gapura at mosque Wali At-Taqwa Loram Kulon Kudus" was conducted in Loram Kulon Village, Jati District, Kudus Regency, Central Java. This study uses a qualitative descrptif approach. Data collection techniques through literature, observation, interviews, recording, writing and taking pictures. The results of this study obtained the values ​​and functions of the manten mubeng gapura padureksan tradition, the values ​​associated with this tradition are religious values ​​and cultural values ​​while its function is as a medium of da'wah and to introduce if a Muslim must have a sense of responsibility and not leave obligations.

This study aims to reinforce the implementation of material and formal law in a crime of sexual violence, in terms of granting restitution from the perpetrator to the victim for his actions, providing legal protection and utilizing criminal law in the trap of a crime of sexual violence. Restitution as referred to in this study is the provision of material from the perpetrator to the victim for his crime because he committed sexual violence which caused the victim to experience physical and psychological suffering, to restore the condition and condition of the victim after the crime, the perpetrator must provide restitution to the victim, the amount of restitution determined by court ruling. In protecting victims of sexual violence to avoid all forms of threats and intimidation, Indonesia has institutions to carry out their obligations. Namely, through the Witness and Victim Protection Agency whose duties, functions and authorities have been granted in accordance with the law. This aims to protect victims who are very vulnerable to all forms of threats and intimidation. Legal protection was also given before the crime occurred, namely by Law no. 12 of 2022 concerning Crimes of Sexual Violence, Law no. 35 of 2014 concerning Amendments to Law no. 23 of 2002 concerning Child Protection, and Law no. 23 of 2004 concerning the Elimination of Domestic Violence. Someone who commits a crime of sexual violence will receive legal consequences, in the form of imprisonment, fines, and restitution to the victim, the amount of which is determined by the court. However, if restitution is insufficient, the State is obliged to provide compensation to the victim for the lack of restitution given to the victim.
