EBISNIS : JURNAL ILMIAH EKONOMI DAN BISNIS 2024 LPPM Universitas Sains dan Teknologi Komputer

This research aims to measure the strength of the correlation between inflation and economic growth in North Sumatra. Employing a quantitative methodology based on primary data obtained from the website sumut.bps.go.id. Inflation does not significantly affect economic growth, according to data analysis using tests for determination, correlation coefficients, simple linear regression, and partial testing (t tests). Since the probability value is not statistically significant (0.139>0.05), we may conclude that H1 is not valid. This means that there is not enough evidence to say that inflation has a significant impact on economic growth. In addition, the low correlation between inflation and economic growth indicates a weak relationship between the two variables. It can be said that the research results show that the inflation rate does not have a significant correlation with the rate of economic growth.

Birthball or birth ball can be used by mothers in the first stage of labor which is useful for helping the progress of labor. The advantages of using a birthball are that it can increase blood flow to the uterus, placenta and baby, and can increase the pelvic outlet, provide comfort for the knees and ankles, provide counter-pressure on the perineum and thighs, work with gravity that pushes the baby down so that it accelerates the process of opening and lowering the baby's head and the labor process can take place physiologically. This study aims to determine the Effect of Birthball Therapy on the Progress of Labor in the First Stage of Labor in Mothers in Bangun Rejo Health Center, Tanjung Morawa District, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra Province. The research design used is the Quasy Experiment Method (Experiment). By using the Two Group Design design, in this study the population was all mothers in labor as many as 20 people using the Mann-Whitney Test. The results of the study using the Man Whitney test to see the comparison between the intervention group and the control group obtained a sig value of 0.029 or <0.05 with a z table value of 2.189. So H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means that there is an effect of birthball on the progress of the first stage in mothers who are given birthball therapy and those who are not given birthball therapy at Pustu Bangun Rejo, Tanjung Morawa District, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra Province. This study aims to analyze the effect of counseling using audiovisual media on compliance with iron tablet consumption behavior in pregnant women in Bangun Rejo Village, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra Province in 2024. This type of research is an intervention study using a true experimental research design. The design of this study is a pre-test and post-test with control group design. A pre-test was carried out, then an intervention was carried out on the experimental group and the control group, then a post-test was carried out on the experimental group and the control group with a time gap of two weeks. With a sample size of 32 pregnant women in the third trimester using the Wilcoxon test. The results showed an increase in compliance in the counseling group using audiovisual media was greater, namely 43.73 compared to the counseling group that did not use audiovisual media, namely 31.60. The data were then analyzed using an independent t-test with computer software and produced a p-value of 0.000 <0.05. Conclusion: Counseling using audiovisual media can increase compliance in consuming iron tablets compared to counseling alone without using media.

Background Background LBW is still a concern for public health throughout the world and is associated with a number of short-term and long-term problems. More than 20 million births each year are estimated to be LBW, accounting for 15% to 20% of all births globally. In poor countries, the LBW birth rate is 16.5%, while in industrial countries it is 7%. Babies with low birth weight (LBW) may experience a number of problems and complications at birth. Metabolic problems, especially hypothermia, may appear in the short term. Method The research used is quantitative, information about what you want to know is examined using numerical data through a retrospective survey. Conducting a retrospective survey is one method of collecting historical data. This research uses a cross-sectional strategy. The sample for this in-depth research was all 60 mothers who gave birth at Sapta Medika Hospital. Analysis data using univariate and bivariate analysis. From the results of statistical tests it was found that p.value = 0.004 and α = 0.05, where the value of P.value (0.004) < α (0.05), so it can be concluded that there is a relationship between maternal age and the incidence of low birth weight (LBW) babies. ). Where the P value (0.019) < α (0.005), so it can be concluded that there is a relationship between maternal parity and the incidence of low birth weight (LBW) babies. Where the P.value (0.001) < α (0.05), so it can be concluded that there is a relationship between maternal nutritional status and the incidence of low birth weight (LBW) babies.

This research aims to evaluate cabbage production planning in North Sumatra using the discrete-time Markov chain method. Cabbage is one of the horticultural agricultural products that plays an important role in North Sumatra's exports. Proper evaluation of production plans is necessary to ensure sustainability and increase productivity and export volume. The Discrete Time Markov Chain method is used to predict changes in cabbage production conditions over time by considering the factors that influence them. Data on cabbage production and harvested area in North Sumatra from 2020 to 2022 were analyzed using one-step and n-step transition opportunity matrices. The results of the analysis show that in 2023, cabbage production and harvested land area are predicted to experience a significant increase compared to the previous year. This research provides a more accurate and efficient planning strategy for cabbage production, which can ultimately improve agricultural management in North Sumatra.

The research is a process of analyzing the effect of unemployment on poverty through economic growth in North Sumatra Province from 2021 until 2023. The survey was conducted in 2023 districts/cities in North Sumatra Province by the North Sumatra Central Statistics Agency. 2021-2023. The results of this research state that population growth has a strong significance on the level of open unemployment. However, economic growth has a negative impact on the open unemployment rate. At the same time, population size and economic level are related to open unemployment. These results suggest that states and city governments should pay more attention to this issue. To improve the regional economy and slow population growth, apart from investing money, the focus should also be on creating new jobs. In this way, more people will get jobs and the problems of unemployment and poverty will be reduced.

This research is motivated by the fact that nearly 70% of children who are newly enrolled and start learning at Bunda Kartika Kindergarten in Patumbak, Deli Serdang, have difficulty adjusting to the new learning environment. This stage of learning in kindergarten is their first step into formal education. According to the Ministry of Education and Culture Regulation No. 137 of 2014 on national standards for early childhood education (PAUD), it sets national standards for PAUD, including aspects of child development that must be met during the learning process. These standards cover various aspects of child adjustment such as socio-emotional, language, cognitive, and motor skills. This research aims to identify the nature of adjustment problems occurring in kindergartens and early childhood education by understanding the aspects of adjustment and the supporting and inhibiting factors for new students in adapting to the new environment. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative method, where the researcher conducts objective interviews and environmental observations. Data collection techniques include document review, observation, and interviews. The results of the study indicate several issues related to children's adjustment, ranging from psychological factors, prenatal environment, parenting styles, to socialization problems in the school environment. These factors significantly impact early childhood development and require special attention in the context of preschool education.
