The postpartum period (puerperium) is the period that begins after 2 hours postpartum and ends when the uterus returns to its pre-pregnancy state, lasting 6 weeks. The postpartum period is an important thing to pay attention to in order to reduce maternal mortality. Perineal rupture is a tear caused by spontaneous birth of a baby, either by using a tool or action. Perineal wound care is important to prevent infection of the reproductive organs, one method of perineal wound care is non-conventional therapy using red betel leaf (Piper crocatum) boiled water which contains flavonoids, alkaloids, polyphenolic compounds, tannins and essential oils which are known to has antibacterial activity. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of red betel (Piper crocatum) cooking water for perineal wound healing in postpartum mothers. This research is a quantitative study with a population of all postpartum mothers with perineal wounds at PMB Rica Merdekawaty with a total sample of 30 respondents consisting of the intervention group and the control group. The data that was collected was then analyzed using the chi square statistical test (p value = 0.029). Based on the chi square analysis, it showed that red betel leaf boiled water was effective in healing perineal wounds in postpartum mothers.

The maternal mortality rate of post-SC infection reaches 7.3%, and 90% causes postpartum morbidity. This study aimed to determine the factors associated with the SC wound healing process. This study used a quantitative method, a type of analytic survey research with a cross-sectional design approach. The population of this study were all post-SC mothers in the postpartum ward of Permata Medika Hospital. The sampling technique used was a consecutive sampling of 34 respondents. The research instrument was a questionnaire. Data analysis was done using univariate and bivariate (chi-square test, alpha = 0.05). The results of this study showed that there was a relationship between the SC wound healing process and early mobilisation (p-value 0.000 < 0.05), which means there was a relationship between the SC wound healing process and nutritional status (BMI) (p-value 0.04 < 0.05), and there was a relationship between the SC wound healing process and anaemia (p-value = 0.00 <0.05) because if p-value <  0.05, then Ha is accepted. Ho is rejected, meaning a significant relationship exists between early mobilisation, nutritional status, and anaemia in SC wound healing. Many factors affect the SC wound healing process, three of which are early mobilisation factors, which, if done before 6–8 hours after SC, has more potential to accelerate SC wound healing; normal nutritional status as an expression of a person's nutritional balance, which plays a role in the process of body tissue growth and has an impact on the duration of wound healing; and anaemia, which anaemia is a symptom of low haemoglobin levels in the blood and obstructs oxygen flow and prevents the growth and repair of tissue from the SC surgical incision.

High risk pregnancy is a pregnancy that causes greater harm and complications to the mother and fetus during pregnancy, childbirth or postpartum when compared to normal pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum. One of the reasons for the high MMR is because pregnant women who are at risk were not detected early. Complications that can occur from risky pregnancies are antepartum bleeding, prolonged labor, prematurity, low birth weight (LBW). A risk pregnancy is an abnormal pregnancy that can affect the health of the mother and fetus. Sustainable development Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), one of the targets that can be measured is a reduction in the Maternal Mortality Rate (MMR). This activity was carried out in Ampekale Village, Bontoa District, Maros Regency using the method of providing counseling to pregnant women in turn using brochures which were distributed to each pregnant mother, after which a question and answer session was held and screening was carried out to detect pregnant women who were in the high risk group. This activity was attended by 24 pregnant women. This community service provides good benefits, namely gaining knowledge about increasing pregnant women's knowledge about high-risk pregnancies in pregnant women as well as ways to prevent and anticipate danger signs of pregnancy in high-risk pregnancies.

Background: Sectio Caesarea is a method of giving birth to a fetus by making an incision in the uterine wall through the front wall of the abdomen (Amru Sofian, 2013). Giving birth by cesarean can drain more energy on the body and the recovery process takes longer. To speed up the recovery process, early mobilization exercises are needed. However, there are several factors that prevent mothers from doing early mobilization For this reason, it is important that efforts to increase early mobilization are carried out in order to speed up the healing process. Objective: To describe the description of nursing care in post sectio caesarea patients in practicing early mobilization. Research Methods: This study uses a literature review method in a journal that discusses early mobilization in post sectio caesarea mothers. Research Results: The results of the research from the literature review that the authors obtained through 10 journals, namely the mobilization efforts of post-SC postpartum mothers in carrying out early mobilization are influenced by pain in the surgical wound, knowledge/experience, motivation and beliefs. These results are relevant to the case managed by the author, namely Mrs. K was reluctant to do early mobilization because of pain and fear. Conclusion: From the results of the literature study above, it can be concluded that early mobilization of post sectio caesarea mothers can be improved by implementing pain management nursing, motivation, education and support from families and health workers

Postpartum hemorrhage is a frequent cause of death in mothers with 1,280 cases. One of the causes of postpartum bleeding is a uterus that does not contract or is called uterine atony. Uterine atony keeps the blood vessels open so that blood continues to flow. Efforts to make the uterus contract are by uterine massage. Uterine massage helps make the blood vessels close and stimulates contractions so that the height of the fundus decreases, indicating that the uterus is slowly shrinking. Research objective: to determine the effect of uterine massage on reducing the height of the uterine fundus as an effort to prevent post-partum bleeding. Method: This research uses a quasi-experimental design, namely post test control group design. The sample in this study was part of normal postpartum mothers at BPM. The sample was divided into a treatment group and a control group. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling. Data were analyzed using the unpaired sample t test. The results of the independent t test obtained a p value of 0.071 (p > 0.05). This means that there is no effect of uterine massage on reducing the height of the uterine fundus.

Babies get their main nutrition, namely breast milk, through the breastfeeding process. However, in some cases breast milk can be low, one of the reasons is the mother's psychological condition. Mothers who feel unhappy, not calm, not relaxed, this will affect their breast milk. Hypnobreastfeeding is a relaxation technique to help smooth the breastfeeding process, by adding positive affirmations to your mind when you relax. Deep and regular relaxation makes the endocrine system, blood flow and other systems in the body function better because the endorphins produced by the mother will flow to the baby through breast milk and also make the baby feel comfortable and calm. Research objective: to determine the effect of hypnobreastfeeding on the smooth flow of breast milk in postpartum mothers at PMB Soraya Palembang. Method: This research uses a pre-experimental research design (one-group pre-post test design). The sampling technique used was total sampling with a total of 32 people. Univariate data analysis for homogeneity and bivariate tests used the dependent t test. The results of this study showed that respondents experienced an increase in breast milk production obtained from the pretest and posttest. The results of the dependent t test obtained a Z value of -2.129 and Asymp Sig of 0.001 < 0.005. The conclusion of this research states that there is an influence of the hypnobreastfeeding technique in expressing breast milk to the mother

Background: Sixty percent of all maternal deaths occur during the postpartum period and 45% of these cases occur within the first 24 hours postpartum (WHO, 2018). Steps that can prevent postpartum bleeding management include active third stage, administration of uterotonics and early initiation of breastfeeding. Oxytocin hormone levels will increase in the third stage after separation of the placenta and when early initiation of breastfeeding is carried out because the pituitary gland releases the oxytocin hormone through the baby's stomping, touching and licking of the mother's skin so that it can prevent postpartum bleeding and speed up the expulsion of the placenta naturally. Objective: To determine the effect of early initiation on the number of post-delivery events at the Griya Mazaya midwifery clinic in 2023. Method: The research method uses analytical observational analysis with case control. The research design used a retrospective approach with a sample size of 44 respondents divided into 22 groups of respondents who did IMD and did not do IMD with a data processing test using Mann Whitney. Results: The results of Mann Whitney data processing showed a p value of 0.000, which means p value < sig (0.05) thus proving that there is a difference in the incidence of post-delivery bleeding. Mothers who did IMD had less bleeding than mothers who did not do IMD. Conclusion: Management of early initiation of breastfeeding immediately after the new baby is born can significantly reduce the rate of postpartum hemorrhage.

Pregnancy is a period when pregnant women experience physiological and psychological changes. Physical changes that occur during pregnancy can cause complaints or discomfort during pregnancy, which include physical discomfort during pregnancy including back pain, low back pain, difficulty sleeping at night/insomnia, and leg cramps. Meanwhile, psychological discomfort that can occur in pregnant women is anxiety and fear of facing the birth process. Anxiety is one of the psychological changes in the third trimester because it is getting closer to the birth process. Resulting in excessive anxiety during pregnancy can trigger abortion, premature birth, low birth weight, fetal defects, fetal growth retardation, and postpartum depression. Three out of five third trimester pregnant women who were encountered experienced anxiety approaching labor, namely sleep disturbances. Practicing yoga during pregnancy is a useful solution as a self-help medium that will reduce discomfort during pregnancy and help with the birthing process. When pregnancy enters the third trimester, the mother will experience increasingly serious and intense anxiety in dealing with the birth process.

The coverage of exclusive breastfeeding in Indonesia has not reached 80%. One of the causes of low breastfeeding coverage is the support of the closest people, especially the husband's knowledge. Efforts that can be made to provide smooth breastfeeding for postpartum mothers include oxytocin massage performed by health workers and husbands. The type of research used is an analytical type of research, namely a study that involves data collection activities to determine whether there is a relationship between two or more variables. This study uses a cross-sectional approach by conducting observations or data collection. Of the 30 respondents, the husband's knowledge at TPMB Turasmiyati, most of them have good knowledge of oxytocin massage. There is a relationship between husband's knowledge of oxytocin massage and age, there is a significant relationship between husband's knowledge of oxytocin massage and education, but there is no significant relationship between level of knowledge and work. It is recommended to all related parties, both health workers and family members, to work together so that exclusive breastfeeding can be fulfilled.
