Land acquisition for public interest often gives rise to various legal issues, including disputes between the government, landowners, and other interested parties. These disputes typically revolve around compensation, the acquisition process, and legal certainty. This article aims to analyze the examination mechanism for specific disputes arising from land acquisition for public purposes, by reviewing relevant laws and regulations. The research employs a normative juridical approach to examine statutes, regulations, and court decisions related to land dispute resolution. The findings indicate that although regulations governing dispute resolution mechanisms exist, their implementation often faces challenges, such as unclear compensation values and lack of transparency in the land acquisition process. Therefore, regulatory reforms and increased oversight are necessary to ensure justice and legal certainty for all involved parties.

Agrarian conflicts related to customary land rights in Indonesia, particularly due to the expansion of oil palm plantations, have become a complex issue that has had a major impact on the social, cultural, and economic lives of indigenous communities. Land conversion carried out without adequate consent from indigenous communities often results in unilateral land acquisition, which triggers prolonged conflict. This article discusses the strategic role of non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in protecting indigenous peoples' rights through legal assistance, policy advocacy, and mediation. NGOs play a role in strengthening the legal position of indigenous communities, raising awareness of their rights, and bridging communication between indigenous communities, the government, and companies. However, this role faces challenges in the form of limited authority, external pressure, and overlapping agrarian regulations. This article emphasizes the importance of recognizing indigenous peoples' rights, improving regulations, and an inclusive conflict resolution approach so that economic development can proceed without sacrificing the sustainability of indigenous peoples' lives and cultures.

This research is motivated by a decrease in the Liquidity Ratio in cash and cash equivalents due to an increase in investment acquisition and purchase of fixed assets which will cause depreciation expenses in the coming years to be greater which will directly reduce the company's profit. The Solvency Ratio has increased due to an increase in debt which will directly increase interest expenses, so it must be covered from operating profit. The Profitability Ratio has decreased in current year profit because the increasing amount of expenses will reduce net profit. The Activity Ratio has decreased inventory turnover due to decreased sales which has resulted in an increase in the amount of inventory. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of Liquidity, Solvency, Profitability and Activity on Financial Performance at PT. Adi Sarana Armada Tbk. which is listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The method used in this study is a quantitative descriptive method, the data in this study uses secondary data. Based on the results of the study, it shows that Liquidity ratio using Current Ratio has a partial positive effect on Financial Performance with Good criteria, this shows the company's ability to pay short-term obligations. Solvency ratio using Debt To Equity Ratio does not have a partial effect on Financial Performance with Poor criteria, this shows the company's inability to meet long-term obligations because risk assessment is ineffective, resulting in a greater risk of loss. Profitability ratio using Return On Asset does not have a partial effect on Financial Performance with Poor criteria, this shows that it is inefficient in using its assets to generate profits and ineffectiveness in accounts receivable turnover so that the small capital invested. Activity ratio using Total Asset Turn Over has a partial positive effect on Financial Performance with Very Good criteria, this shows the company's ability to utilize its assets to generate income.

Health education is a crucial aspect of guiding learners about health in a broad range, encompassing physical, mental, and social well-being. Schools, being environments where students are exposed to various hazards, are particularly vulnerable to accidents. First aid education is essential in preventing injuries and ensuring that students are equipped with the necessary skills to respond effectively in emergency situations. This study aims to evaluate the effect of Augmented Reality (AR) based First Aid health education on the knowledge of Youth Red Cross (PMR) members at Titian Teras State Senior High School, Jambi City. This study employed a quasi-experimental design with one pretest-posttest group without a control group. A total of 50 PMR members were involved, divided into an intervention group (n=25) and a control group (n=25). The intervention group received AR-based First Aid health education, while the control group received conventional methods. Data collection was conducted using a knowledge assessment tool, and pre- and post-test analyses were performed to evaluate the effectiveness of the intervention. The results showed a significant increase in the intervention group's knowledge. After the intervention, 80% of respondents in the intervention group achieved the "good" category, compared to only 36% in the control group. The Mann-Whitney test confirmed the significant difference between the two groups (p<0.05), indicating that the AR-based First Aid health education was more effective in improving PMR members' knowledge compared to conventional methods. This study concludes that AR-based First Aid health education is more effective in improving PMR members' knowledge compared to conventional methods. The integration of AR technology in health education highlights its potential in enhancing learning outcomes and improving the preparedness of students in responding to emergencies. The findings suggest that AR can be a valuable tool in health education, particularly in first aid training, by providing an immersive and interactive learning experience that enhances both knowledge and skills acquisition.

In light of the increasing degree of competition in the international business environment resulting from the technological changes that have occurred recently, which has made companies rely on elements through which they can increase the companies’ capabilities to compete and achieve what they aim for, and for this reason the human element (human capital) was the factor. It is decisive in increasing productivity and companies’ abilities to compete in light of the changing and evolving business environment, as the research showed that there is a major role for human capital in increasing the financial performance of the research sample (Al-Janoob Islamic Bank) and achieving high profit levels as a result of that company’s acquisition of competent and skilled human capital. The research compared two different periods in terms of the company’s management at the levels of executive management and the board of directors, and after the bank applied governance and separated ownership of the institution from management, and competent banking and professional cadres took over the management of that company, which was characterized by efficiency and effectiveness, as the research showed the existence of a close and strong relationship between human capital. Efficiency and financial performance represented by the profitability index, where the level of profits achieved before the change of management was low, while it took an upward trend gradually after the change of management and the application of governance. This confirms the relationship between two variables in achieving what the institution aims to achieve in its current and future strategies.

The land system is called eigendom land. However, the land system that uses western law is still considered to be out of sync with human rights and is also detrimental to society, so during Indonesia's independence, new regulations were issued that regulate the national land system. However, in reality, transmitting western law to national law is not easy, so several land disputes have arisen, one of which is the ex eigendom verponding land dispute which was tried at the Ambon City District Court with Supreme Court decision number: 211/Pdt.G/2019/PN Amb . Based on the description in this thesis, the issues that will be discussed are 1) How to regulate land law ex eigendom verponding. 2) How is the implementation related to land ex eigendom verponding. 3) What are the constraint factors and solutions related to ex eigendom verponding land. This research aims to analyze the position of the case, the suitability of the considerations of the Supreme Court judges as well as the strengths and weaknesses of the judges in deciding the verdict in this ex eigendom verponding land dispute case. This research applies normative legal research methods. The results of the discussion produced in this research found that the judge's reasons for rejecting the case application submitted by Lutfi Attamimi as a representative of PT. Maluku Building is in accordance with the facts and applicable law, but there are also several weaknesses in the judge's consideration of the land data evidence attached by the plaintiff, so that at the end of the decision it was concluded that the ex-eigendom Verponding land number 987 was not successfully reclaimed by the plaintiff due to the lack of the validity of the evidence and facts presented before the trial.

Investment is an essential instrument for capitalist countries to boost the national economy and create job opportunities for the community. Investment in Indonesia began with Foreign Investment Law No. 56 of 1964, which was later updated with Foreign Investment Law No. 25 of 2007 in line with the times. To increase investor interest in entering Indonesia, the government enacted Job Creation Law No. 11 of 2020, which was further updated through the Job Creation Law up to 2023. Due to the complexity and increasing number of investors facing obstacles such as land acquisition and regional policies, a Presidential Regulation on National Strategic Projects (PSN) was issued. The government's hopes and expectations for smooth investor operations do not always align with implementation. Specifically, PSNs often result in agrarian conflicts for local residents whose land is taken over for PSN purposes. In the context of investment in Batam, particularly the Rempang Eco-City Development Plan in the Rempang-Galang area, clashes occurred and drew national attention and concern from various experts when land measurements began by PT MEG, escorted by the Joint Team comprising police, TNI, and the Ditpam Batam Management Agency (BP Batam). They have not reached an agreement but are already being pushed for swift execution. The obstacles to investment in the PSN Rempang Eco-City include conflicts arising from legal uncertainties over land ownership since the administrative change from Bintan Selatan District to Batam City, becoming Galang District since 1980. Represented by their legal counsel LBH GP Asnhor, they demand legal certainty over their ancestral land to be issued certificates, enabling fair and humane compensation. This demand has been submitted to President Joko Widodo regarding the request for land legality for the villages on Rempang Island, Galang Island, and New Galang Island on behalf of the chairman of the Local Indigenous People's Relatives (KERAMAT) Gerisman Ahmad. Due to these obstacles and conflicts, the central government, through President Joko Widodo, issued Presidential Regulation No. 78 of 2023 on Handling Social Community Impacts in the Context of Land Provision for National Development. However, as of July 2024, there has not been a comprehensive agreement between the community, the Batam City government, and the head of BP Batam. The government is taking a softer approach by personally approaching residents to relocate to Tanjung Banon, where four model houses have been provided as promised incentives for those willing to move.
