Technological advancements and globalization have influenced social structures, including perceptions of beauty standards shaped by the media. This study aims to examine how media shapes beauty standards and its impact on individual perceptions and behavior. The research focuses on the analysis of language and imagery in Pantene shampoo advertisements to understand the underlying ideology and its social impact. A qualitative descriptive method with critical discourse analysis by Norman Fairclough is employed. Data analysis is conducted in detail to uncover the meanings and purposes of the advertisements. The results show that Pantene ads successfully address common hair care issues and present their product as the best solution. The ads build a brand identity that emphasizes strength, beauty, and hair care. Brand ambassadors in the ads are depicted as strong individuals who believe in Pantene’s efficacy, influencing consumer perceptions. Discourse practice analysis reveals that the ads use storytelling, visuals, humor, and everyday language to attract young viewers’ attention. These elements make the ads relevant and appealing, shaping consumer perceptions and behavior. Social practice analysis indicates that the ads reflect societal changes influenced by social media and increased attention to self-care. The ads highlight hair problems due to pollution and offer Pantene as the solution, reflecting the role of advertising in shaping consumer perceptions and actions. The study concludes that Pantene ads successfully build a strong narrative to address hair care issues and establish a brand identity that emphasizes strength, beauty, and hair care. Future research is recommended to examine the long-term impact of these ads on consumer behavior and perceptions.

This literature review article presents an analysis of the concepts of Ariyah, Grants, Gifts, and Samsarah from a theoretical and practical perspective to understand the complexity and legal framework governing these transactions in an Islamic context. The data is analyzed in depth to identify key elements and relationships between concepts. Ariyah (borrowing) is the loan of goods without remuneration, Hibah (grant) is the voluntary gift of a living person to another, Hadiah (gift) without expectation of reward, and Samsarah (brokerage) is connecting between parties involved in a transaction (such as buyers and sellers) in which the intermediary is given a certain commission. Despite having fundamental differences in definition and application, these four concepts play an important role in society. From a theoretical perspective, each concept has a legal basis and principles governing it. In practical terms, the application of Ariyah, Grants, Gifts, and Samsarah is seen in various aspects of daily life, from trade transactions to social relations. Understanding these concepts helps individuals and organizations manage relationships and transactions more effectively according to the principles of sharia law.

Bullying in elementary schools has become an increasingly serious problem in recent years. Bullying behaviors, such as physical, verbal and psychological abuse, can have a significant negative impact on children's development. This study aims to identify the factors that cause bullying in elementary schools and evaluate effective prevention and treatment strategies. The research method used is library research, which is a research method by collecting data by understanding and studying theories from various literatures related to the research. The results showed that the factors causing bullying in elementary schools include: lack of supervision and intervention from the school, peer influence, and unfavorable family conditions. To overcome the problem of bullying, a comprehensive effort is needed that involves all elements of the school, family and community. Some recommended strategies are: increasing the capacity of teachers in handling bullying cases, developing anti-bullying programs that are integrated in the school curriculum, and empowering parents and communities to play an active role in preventing and dealing with bullying.

This article discusses the tradition of sea alms in Cilacap Regency and how this tradition is acculturated with Islamic teachings. Sedekah laut is a traditional ceremony performed by coastal communities as a form of gratitude for sustenance from the sea. This tradition originally contained elements that were considered deviant from Islamic teachings, such as offerings to the sea spirit Kanjeng Ratu Kidul. However, through acculturation, these elements have been adapted to Islamic values, so that they now involve prayers and alms to Allah SWT. The sea alms tradition also plays a role in strengthening the spirit of mutual cooperation and awareness of cultural preservation among coastal communities. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method with a literature study to examine the relationship between customary law and Islamic law in this tradition. The results show that customary law and Islamic law can interact harmoniously without dominating each other, each having a role in preserving local traditions that enrich Indonesia's cultural heritage.

This research uses three types of soybeans with different quality, namely medium and low high quality. Each type of soybean is processed using the same fermentation method to produce soy sauce. The elements analyzed can amount of acidity, protein content, water, and the taste of soy sauce produced. The observation results stated that high-quality soybeans produce soy sauce with higher protein levels, optimal acidity levels, and better taste compared to medium and low-quality soybeans. Low-quality soybeans produce soy sauce with lower protein levels and a less-than-preferred flavor. In conclusion, the quality of soybeans has a very significant influence on the quality of soy sauce produced, so the selection of high quality soybeans is highly recommended in the soy sauce production stage to produce the best quality products.  

This article analyzes the folk tales of Pla Bu Thong and Bawang Putih Bawang Merah. These two stories have two countries, namely Thailand and Indonesia, which are located in the Southeast Asia region. These two folk tales were taken from the online library. The two folktales as data sources are compared to see the differences and similarities in these parts. By making a comparison, it was found that there were differences between the three stories in the elements of characters and characterization as well as the way in which the problems they faced were resolved. The existence of parts that show these differences at a further stage shows similarities. Differences in character and characterization are equalized by characters who both have the same temperament and family background. The difference is the location chosen to solve the problem. The differences in several elements that make up literary works lead to the same aims and objectives.

The significance of the banking sector in shaping development directions, fostering economic growth, and enhancing societal welfare has been acknowledged by various societal elements. This study aims to examine the regression outcomes of variables such as working capital loans, investment loans, and consumer loans on economic upliftment in the region of East Nusa Tenggara Province. Multiple linear regression analysis, t-tests, and F-tests are employed as statistical methods to discern the relationships between several independent variables and the dependent variable in this research. Secondary data spanning a decade are collected from the Central Bureau of Statistics of East Nusa Tenggara Province. The findings reveal that economic growth in East Nusa Tenggara Province is positively and significantly influenced by investment loans and consumer loans, while working capital loans exhibit a negative and insignificant impact.

At the development stage, this research develops multimedia-based interactive learning media, which can provide certain forms of interaction that allow users to interact actively with the program. The research results show that the Basic Graphic Design interactive learning media developed is valid from the instructional and display aspects, and is practical and suitable for use for basic graphic design learning. Thus, this research contributes to the development of interactive learning media that is effective and practical in improving the quality of learning in graphic design subjects.

BIM technology in the construction world is growing. However, the application of BIM in Indonesia has not been carried out thoroughly. BIM technology can help quantity take off work that affects the success or failure of a project. BIM can reduce the error rate of quantity take off planning calculations compared to manual calculations. Tekla Structure is one of the software developments of BIM that can produce quantity take off building output along with 3D visualisation. This research conducts 3D modelling and discusses the comparison of quantity take off using BIM-based software Tekla Structures with a recap of the manual calculation contained in the initial Bill of Quantity for the X Building Project planning. This difference can be used as a consideration for the application of BIM in the initial calculation of project planning. The percentage difference obtained for the pile cap  resulted in concrete volume deviation of 0.69% and -19.1% for reinforcement volume. The spun piles work resulted in a concrete volume deviation of -0.8% and reinforcement volume of 8.45%. In the calculation of column work, the deviation value for concrete volume is 3.14%, while the volume of reinforcement is -12.2%. The results of the BIM quantity take-off are deemed more reliable due to the 3D visualization of BIM objects and the ability to adjust the detail of work elements.

The researcher's interest in the characters in the novel became the basis for the research by choosing the object of analysis in the novel “Sunyi adalah Minuman Keras” by Sapardi Djoko Damono. Focusing on the character's psychology as an understanding that is studied by researchers using elements of personality desires which include real, imaginary, symbolic from Jacques Lacan's psychoanalytic theory. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with stages of reading a novel, taking data according to Lacan's psychoanalytic concept (real, imaginary and symbolic), and interpreting the results of the analysis. The conclusions in the research show an understanding of the existence of personality desires in Rara which are classified into three elements with several aspects, namely real (memories and beliefs), imaginary (loving and rejection), and symbolic (delusions, desires and religious awareness).
