Degenerative disease is a health condition of an organ or related tissue whose condition can deteriorate over time due to changes in body cells that affect organ function as a whole. The factor is due to unhealthy life changes such as lack of activity and frequent exposure to harmful substances into the body. Degenerative diseases include hypertension, diabetes, cholesterol, cancer, and death. Harmful substances or free radicals can be inhibited by antioxidants. One drug that has antioxidant activity is ascorbic acid (Vitamin C) which functions as an immune booster and is used by the public because it is effective as an antioxidant and health therapy but there are side effects in the form of gastrointestinal. The research aimed to find candidate drug ingredients from compounds contained in black pepper seeds (Piper nigrum L.) as in silico antioxidants. The methods used are molecular docking and molecular dynamics. The results showed BLH19 had better toxicity than the comparator drug and had hydrogen interactions that could be stabilized by the amino acid Gln139. The results of molecular dynamic calculations for BLH19 have an RMSD value of 1.5 Å with a ΔGTotal of -33.50 Kcal/mol. While the comparator drug has an RMSD value of 1.6 Å with ΔGTotal -3.39 Kcal/mol. The results showed that the affinity level of ascorbic acid compared to BLH19 for the 4RP9 receptor was predicted to be a candidate for a new antioxidant drug.

Covid-19 hit many countries in the world including Indonesia. The Covid-19 outbreak is not only a national problem within a country, but is already a global problem. Covid-19 originated in the Wuhan area of China. The spread of Covid -19, which is so fast and deadly, is transmitted through physical contact through the mouth, eyes and nose. The spread of Covid-19 is out of control, the government invites the public to participate in keeping the spread from spreading by limiting social or physical contact. Community participation is the main key to success in preventing the spread of the Covid-19 outbreak. Social distancing and physical distancing are implemented to cut the chain of spread of the virus. Some people have consciously followed this social restriction mechanism, but some have not participated. This paper examines community participation in preventing the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia. Handling the spread of this virus can be carried out well if the community participates in following the government's advice to always maintain a safe distance from one another, one of which is to stay at home. Covid-19 is an epidemic virus and has the potential for a public health emergency. In the Bangorejo sub-district itself, the government and various local community institutions in dealing with this epidemic have implemented several programs and policies to minimize and prevent the Covid-19 outbreak, but in reality some people do not heed the appeals and directions from the government or social institutions.

Diabetes mellitus is a frequently encountered degenerative disease. Indonesia, being one of the most populous countries, experiences a notable increase in the global prevalence of diabetes mellitus. Type 2 diabetes mellitus constitutes the most prevalent form, with approximately 90-95% of diabetics falling into this category. Notably, patient compliance in Indonesia falls short of meeting the recommended glycemia target. The root cause of this non-compliance is linked to a lack of understanding among individuals with diabetes mellitus regarding the purpose of therapy, leading to a lack of awareness about potential complications. This research aims to explore the connection between patient characteristics and adherence to medication in Type 2 diabetes mellitus patients at the Tiban Baru Health Center in Batam City. Employing a descriptive correlation approach with a prospective cross-sectional research design, the study utilized purposive sampling, including 92 patients meeting the inclusion criteria. Data collection involved the administration of a compliance questionnaire (MMAS). The study's conclusion reveals a significant association between job characteristics and medication adherence in Type 2 diabetes mellitus patients, evidenced by a p-value of 0.046. Conversely, factors such as gender, age, education, duration of suffering, and comorbidities were not found to be correlated with medication adherence (p-value > 0.05). It is anticipated that healthcare professionals at the Tiban Baru Health Center will impart accurate information to patients, enhancing their awareness of the potential complications associated with diabetes mellitus.

(Nurhaidar, 2010).In addition to hypertension, gout is now also a topic that is very much discussed by women, because most uric acid attacks women, especially the elderly. However, in this day and age it is not only the elderly who can get gout, adults can also get this gout. Irianto in his book entitled Public Health Science said that gout is referred to as a degenerative disease because the incidence rate is related to the degeneration process in old age that takes place according to time and age. (Simamora and Saragih 2019).  Research conducted in the scientific journal Permas shows the results that of the 13 causes of gout, most of the causes are diet and lifestyle. So that those who should be more susceptible to gout are men because their serum uric acid levels are higher than women.(Sulistyoningtyas and Khusnul Dwihestie 2022).Community service activity entitled  "Socialization on the Application of Ergonomic Gymnastics to Reduce Blood Pressure in Kabil Village, Kavling Baru, RT 003 RW 013, Danau Indah Punggur" The activity was welcomed by RW 013 Kavling Baru, Punggur with the hope of getting information about handling hypertension and gout, so as to control and prevent various kinds of disorders of the cardiovascular system in the form of hypertension,  heart, or stroke that can interfere with public health.

The toddler period is a golden period that determines the rate of growth and development of toddlers both physically, mentally and emotionally. Assessment of nutritional status Assessment of nutritional status of toddlers using standard and measurable parameters can be used as a monitoring item for nutritional problems in toddlers. This study aims to describe the findings based on research data conducted in 2021 on 96 toddlers in the working area of the Ranomuut Public Health Center, Manado City, North Sulawesi Province. Primary anthropometric and age data were collected on toddlers 6-24 months and obtained data that 26% of toddlers have nutritional status in the poor category (<2SD) and 74% of them have nutritional status in the good category (? -2 SD to +2SD). Even though there is no urgency found in the results of this study, the conclusions of the research need to be published, and it is hoped that this can be used as a reference for future research.
