The use of technology in early childhood and elementary education is becoming increasingly important in the digital era. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of educational games as an interactive learning medium to increase the interest and motivation of elementary school students. This activity was carried out by the KKM group 95 team from Bina Bangsa University on 43 fourth-grade students at Bayak Public Elementary School. The research method used a descriptive quantitative approach through a pre-test and post-test using a Google Form questionnaire. The educational games were developed through the Educaplay platform, which provides various features such as interactive quizzes, crosswords, and picture-matching games. Prior to the intervention, observations were conducted on student learning behavior in the classroom. The results of the initial observations indicated that most students showed little interest in conventional, monotonous learning methods. Therefore, a more engaging approach involving active student participation was needed to rekindle their enthusiasm for learning. During the activity, students were very enthusiastic in participating in the educational games presented. The classroom atmosphere became more lively, and students were seen working together and showing a high curiosity about the material presented through the games. After using the educational games for several sessions, a post-test was conducted to measure changes in students' interest and motivation to learn. Preliminary data analysis results indicate an increase in student interest and motivation scores after participating in educational game-based learning. This indicates that interactive, technology-based approaches have strong potential to improve learning effectiveness at the elementary school level. This study recommends that teachers actively integrate interactive technology into the teaching and learning process. In addition to increasing student engagement, the use of media such as Educaplay can also adapt learning to the digital-native characteristics of today's generation of students.

Christian leadership can be understood as leadership rooted in the truth of God’s Word and exemplified through the life and ministry of Jesus Christ. In the Gospel narratives, Jesus consistently displayed leadership qualities that were grounded in service, sacrifice, humility, and the nurturing of His disciples. However, in today’s context, many church environments face a crisis of leadership characterized by corruption, arrogance, lack of integrity, and resistance to constructive criticism, all of which deviate from the biblical image of Christ as the Good Shepherd. This study aims to explore the biblical foundation of Jesus Christ’s leadership, focusing on both its character and technical dimensions as reflected in the Gospel of John, and to examine its implementation in the local ministry setting of GPdI Bethesda Kabanjahe. The research employs a qualitative method with two primary dimensions: a theological-biblical approach and a case study approach. The findings reveal that, first, the pastoral leadership model in the Gospel of John presents Jesus as the Good Shepherd who builds intimate relationships, willingly sacrifices, and develops the character of His followers. While these values are normatively acknowledged by church ministers, their implementation in GPdI Bethesda remains partial, fragmented, and not yet systematically embedded into the overall ministry structure. Second, theological reflection and practical implications highlight the urgent need for renewal that encompasses both organizational systems and the personal spiritual formation of leaders. Recommendations emerging from this study include leadership training grounded in Christlike character, developing an organizational structure that ensures regeneration, cultivating a healthy spiritual community, and contextually internalizing Gospel values into ministry practices. Strengthening these areas is essential for building authentic, sustainable, and Christ-centered leadership that responds to contemporary challenges and restores the church’s witness to the surrounding community.

Cultural communication plays an important role in maintaining and preserving the values of traditional marine education. In this context, cultural communication serves as a bridge to maintain traditional values while adapting them to the dynamics of the times in the era of modern life, especially the Mandar sailors on Kerayaan Island who have long been known for their maritime traditions inherent in their daily lives. This study aims to analyze the impact of modernization on the traditional practices and maritime cultural identity of the Mandar community. In addition, this study also presents the fact that not only the Bugis tribe is known as reliable sailors in the region, but the Mandar tribe also has a long history as accomplished sailors. The method used in the research uses a qualitative approach with the type of ethnographic research. The data was collected through direct observation in the field and in-depth interviews with local communities. Social change analysis is used as a theoretical framework to understand the maritime cultural transformation that occurs. This research shows that the entry of modern technology has slowly but surely changed the way of life of the Mandar seafaring community. Various cultural symbols that exist today are more widely used for economic purposes only, no longer as a cultural identity that is upheld. This study provides a real picture of how this change at least gives hope, that there will be no total death of traditional sized, there will always be adjustment, imaging and re-creation of new traditional authorities. The ability to survive this tradition is at least quite justified because the emergence of tradition always presupposes the presence of a 'regime of representatives' who has the authority to interpret the symbols and sacred texts of tradition for the purpose of legitimacy of power through cultural communication. The advancement of digital technology has driven significant transformation in the field of education, particularly in the innovation of learning media that is interactive and easily accessible to students. The subject of Pancasila and Civic Education (PPKn), as a crucial component of character education, must adapt to these developments to ensure that the material remains relevant and engaging for today’s digital generation. This community service activity aimed to enhance students' learning motivation by conducting a training program on creating educational applications using the no-code platform Thunkable. The focus of the training was on the topic of national political figures, which is part of the core competencies in the PPKn curriculum. The activity was held at SMA Ampera in Sorong City, involving 11th-grade students as active participants. A participatory and project-based learning (PjBL) approach was employed, in which students were guided to design, create, and test their own educational applications based on their ideas and creativity. The program was carried out in three stages: preparation (developing modules, training materials, and technical setup), training and practice (introduction to the Thunkable platform, interface design, and basic programming), and testing and evaluation (application trials by other students and effectiveness assessment). The results of the activity showed a significant increase in students' learning motivation, basic digital skills, and active engagement in the learning process. The participants successfully created educational application prototypes featuring visual content, brief narratives, and interactive quizzes about national political figures. Moreover, students demonstrated collaborative attitudes, innovation, and confidence when presenting their work. This activity demonstrates that a project-based learning approach supported by Thunkable technology can be an effective alternative for creating meaningful, contextual, and empowering learning experiences. It is especially beneficial for schools with limited access to digital technology. By integrating creativity and digital tools into civic education, students are encouraged to become not only technologically literate but also more engaged in understanding national identity and political history in a modern, accessible way.

Education is a conscious and structured effort aimed at creating an environment and process that actively facilitates learners in developing their full potential. This includes nurturing their spiritual and moral values, self-control, intelligence, strong character, and essential life skills required for personal development and meaningful contributions to society, the nation, and the global community. At its core, education serves to empower students to realize and utilize their capabilities for future life challenges. It acts as a foundational medium through which younger generations acquire essential life skills, enabling them to integrate effectively into society. Moreover, education plays a pivotal role not only in the personal growth of individuals but also in the advancement of a nation. High-quality education is defined by its capacity to equip students with the competence to confront and resolve real-world problems. This notion becomes increasingly critical as learners transition from academic settings to the workforce and community life, where they are expected to apply their knowledge and skills practically. However, the success or failure of educational outcomes is largely determined by the curriculum. A well-designed curriculum should cultivate critical awareness and empower students to navigate complex social and professional environments. It should also promote creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration, which are essential skills in today’s rapidly changing world. Furthermore, education should not be viewed merely as a means to acquire knowledge but as a holistic process that fosters emotional intelligence and social responsibility. By integrating various disciplines and encouraging interdisciplinary learning, education can help students develop a broader perspective on global issues, such as climate change, social justice, and economic inequality. In addition, the role of educators is crucial in this process.

Generation Alpha is growing up in an era dominated by rapid technological advancement and digital interaction, which necessitates the development of innovative, engaging, and interactive learning strategies. This need extends to Christian Religious Education (CRE), where traditional methods may no longer fully capture the attention or meet the learning styles of today's children. One promising approach is the adaptation of Labubu dolls as a learning medium within the CRE curriculum. With their distinctive, expressive features, Labubu dolls can serve as an effective pedagogical tool to convey Christian values in a manner that is both relatable and captivating for young learners. This article explores the integration of Labubu dolls into Christian Religious Education as a medium to enhance student engagement, comprehension, and internalization of core religious values. Using a qualitative research design with a constructivist approach, the study investigates how puppetry, particularly through Labubu dolls, can transform abstract theological ideas into concrete, child-friendly learning experiences. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and reflective practices involving teachers and students in early education settings. Findings indicate that the incorporation of storytelling, character interaction, and reflective dialogue facilitated by Labubu dolls significantly improves children's understanding of Christian principles. The dolls create a dynamic learning environment that encourages emotional connection, moral reasoning, and active participation. Furthermore, the playful yet structured nature of puppet-based instruction aligns well with the cognitive and emotional development of Generation Alpha, making it a highly relevant educational innovation. In conclusion, the use of Labubu dolls within the Christian Religious Education curriculum represents a strategic response to contemporary educational challenges. It not only enhances pedagogical effectiveness but also supports the formation of Christian character and faith from an early age, positioning Labubu dolls as a transformative medium for religious instruction in the digital age.

In this context, digital literacy has become a key competency that students must possess. Digital literacy encompasses not only the ability to access and understand information from various digital sources but also involves critical thinking and collaborative skills, as well as the wise, ethical, and responsible use of technology. Studies show that the appropriate and targeted use of digital media can increase students' interest in reading materials and other learning activities. Interactive and visually appealing digital media can stimulate students' curiosity, enrich the learning experience, and increase their motivation. Furthermore, the use of digital technology also provides opportunities to develop creativity, communication skills, and problem-solving skills. Technology-based learning enables more effective learning differentiation, allowing students to learn at their own pace and learning style. This is highly relevant in the context of 21st-century education, which demands information literacy, technology literacy, and media literacy. As learning facilitators, teachers are required not only to be proficient in using technology but also to design learning that integrates curriculum content with available digital potential. Therefore, optimal use of digital technology can be a strategic solution in creating a generation that is digitally literate, creative, innovative, and able to adapt to increasingly dynamic and complex developments. To achieve this goal, collaboration between schools, the government, and parents is essential in providing adequate access to and training in sustainable educational technology.

In promoting a cultural arts performance, the success of an event is determined not only by the quality of the performance itself but also by the effectiveness of the marketing communication strategy implemented. In today’s digital era, organizers of cultural art performances face increasingly complex challenges, including shifts in audience media consumption behavior, rapid developments in communication technology, and the need to build sustained digital engagement between organizers and stakeholders. This study adopts the Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC) theory to examine the marketing communication strategies implemented by the Department of Culture and Tourism of Surakarta City in promoting the Solo International Performing Arts (SIPA) event in 2024. The research methodology includes in-depth interviews with organizers and document analysis of promotional materials and publication activities. The findings indicate that the department applied eight elements of integrated marketing communication: advertising, sales promotion, events and experiences, public relations and publicity, direct marketing, interactive marketing, mobile marketing, and personal selling. Each element was carried out synergistically to build awareness, attract public interest, and shape a positive image of the SIPA event in society. The implemented strategy has successfully reached a broader audience through digital channels such as social media and official websites, as well as through direct approaches like local media publications and collaboration with art communities. However, challenges remain in delivering more innovative and creative promotional content to enhance the event’s appeal. These findings offer important implications for cultural event managers, emphasizing the need for structured, consistent, and audience-relevant promotional strategies in the digital era. A well-integrated marketing communication approach not only strengthens public engagement but also reinforces the identity and sustainability of cultural events like SIPA on both local and international levels.
