Health services in Indonesia are no longer positioned solely as social services but have also developed into business activities managed professionally. This development gives rise to legal consequences that necessitate the regulation of health business law in order to ensure the quality of health services and to protect patients’ rights as consumers of health services. This study aims to analyze the role of health business law as an instrument in ensuring the quality of health services in Indonesia, particularly following the enactment of Law Number 17 of 2023 concerning Health. The research method employed is normative legal research using a statutory approach and a conceptual approach. Primary legal materials include Law Number 17 of 2023 concerning Health, Law Number 44 of 2009 concerning Hospitals, and Law Number 8 of 1999 concerning Consumer Protection. Secondary legal materials are obtained from textbooks and scientific journals relevant to business law and health law. The results of the study indicate that health business law plays a strategic role in controlling health service business practices through the regulation of licensing, service quality standards, patient safety, legal liability of business actors, and consumer protection mechanisms. The consistent and equitable implementation of health business law is able to ensure the quality of health services without disregarding humanitarian values, professional ethics in health services, and the objectives of national health development.

Construction projects have unique characteristics that differ from other operational activities, as they are time-limited, involve a variety of resources, and require coordination across organizations. Occupational safety and health (K3) is an important element in protecting the workforce as well as the company's assets. This study aims to analyze the implementation of K3 policies in the construction project of PT. X. The research method uses a qualitative approach with case studies, while data analysis is carried out thematically based on the George C. Edwards III policy implementation model, which includes aspects of communication, resources, disposition, and bureaucratic structure. The results of the study show that the implementation of the K3 policy has been running but has not been optimal. The communication aspect has not been carried out regularly and continuously, resources are still limited with task trapping, the disposition of policy implementers is not evenly distributed, marked by low worker compliance, and the bureaucratic structure has not been supported by standardized SOPs and coordination between work units is still weak. This condition creates a gap between the K3 policy and the implementation in the field, so that it has the potential to increase the risk of work accidents and reduce the effectiveness of labor protection. This research emphasizes the need to strengthen communication, increase resources, implement commitment, and improve the bureaucratic structure to support the implementation of more effective K3 policies.

The mental health crisis in Indonesia is increasingly alarming, exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic, social stigma, and unequal access to professional services. A clinical approach alone is not enough to address this complex problem. This study offers a novelty in the form of an integrative approach: revitalizing the role of families and communities based on Islamic values (rahmah, ta'awun, shabr, syura, tarbiyah ruhiyah) combined with the use of digital social communities as a medium for education, discussion, and support systems. The research method used is a literature study with a descriptive qualitative approach, reviewing national and international literature, social support theory (Cohen & Wills, 1985), religious coping (Koenig, 2012), and Bronfenbrenner's ecological theory (1979). The results of the study show that families play a strategic role in the prevention, assistance, and referral of mental health cases, while digital communities are effective as spaces for education and emotional validation, with scalability and anonymity as their main strengths. Concrete strategies offered include family education, stigma-free campaigns on social media, spiritual care hotlines, and cross-sector collaboration. This approach is in line with the collectivist culture of Indonesian Muslim society and is more adaptive in the digital era. This research is expected to serve as a conceptual foundation for practical programs, public policy, and further research to create a more caring, stigma-free, and resilient society in the face of mental health crises.

Adolescent reproductive health is a crucial issue requiring special attention in the digital era. Lack of proper knowledge about reproductive health can negatively impact adolescent lives. The utilization of digital technology as an educational medium is predicted to enhance the accessibility and effectiveness of delivering reproductive health information to adolescents. This study aims to determine the effect of digital-based reproductive health education on the knowledge level of students at SMA Negeri 1 Selesai. This study employed a quasi-experimental design with a pre-test and post-test one-group approach. The research sample consisted of 20 grade XI students selected using purposive sampling technique. The intervention involved digital-based reproductive health education delivered through Google Classroom platform and interactive learning videos over 4 weeks. The research instrument used a reproductive health knowledge questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability. Data were analyzed using paired t-test with a 95% confidence level. The results showed a significant increase in students' knowledge level after receiving digital-based education. The pre-test mean score was 61.50 (SD=9.15) categorized as moderate knowledge, while the post-test mean score increased to 79.25 (SD=7.68) categorized as good knowledge. Paired t-test results showed p-value=0.000 (p<0.05), indicating a significant difference between knowledge levels before and after the intervention. Digital-based reproductive health education proved effective in improving high school students' knowledge level. Digital media can be an effective alternative in providing reproductive health education to adolescents.

This study examines the paradoxical phenomenon among adolescents who actively consume mental health content on digital platforms such as Instagram and TikTok but are reluctant to utilize freely available school counseling services. The research aims to identify specific forms of stigma that hinder adolescents from utilizing school counseling services and analyze them using Erving Goffman's stigma theory. The research method employs a qualitative approach with a library research design, analyzing various scientific literature published from 2013-2025 through content analysis techniques. The research findings reveal six main forms of stigma: perception of school counselors as school police, labeling as troubled students, sign of personal weakness, doubts about confidentiality, distrust in counselor competence, and traumatic experiences. The paradox occurs because digital platforms provide anonymity that protects adolescents' virtual social identity, while face-to-face counseling services are perceived as threatening their social identity. Research implications indicate the need for transformation of school counseling services that integrate digital strategies, ongoing campaigns to change negative perceptions, and enhancement of counselor competence in understanding adolescent digital culture to reduce stigma and improve adolescent access to professional mental health services.

The legal relationship between doctors and patients is essentially based on an obligation of effort (inspanningverbintenis), rather than an obligation of result (resultaatverbintenis). In practice, however, dissatisfaction with the outcomes of medical services often leads to criminal reports alleging medical negligence, which implies the criminalization of healthcare professionals. On the other hand, Law Number 17 of 2023 concerning Health and the Regulation of the National Police of the Republic of Indonesia Number 8 of 2021 provide broader opportunities for the application of restorative justice in resolving criminal cases, including medical negligence. This research aims to analyze the criteria for applying restorative justice in medical negligence cases at the investigation level, examine resolution patterns oriented toward recovery and justice for all parties, and identify the obstacles faced by investigators in implementing this mechanism. The research method used is normative legal research with a statutory approach and a conceptual approach, conducted through a review of legislation, legal doctrines, and expert opinions in the fields of health law and criminal law. The results indicate that the application of restorative justice in medical negligence cases can, in principle, be carried out as long as it meets the formal and material requirements as regulated in Police Regulation No. 8 of 2021, and aligns with the restorative resolution paradigm promoted by Law No. 17 of 2023 concerning Health. Resolution patterns oriented toward mediation, reconciliation, and reparation are considered more capable of achieving substantive justice for victims while providing protection for medical personnel who lack mens rea. Nevertheless, the implementation of restorative justice at the investigation level still faces various obstacles, including subjectivity in determining compensation, differing understandings among law enforcement officers regarding the boundary between professional error and criminal offense, disagreement between parties, and the pressure of public opinion and social media. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen regulations, increase the capacity of investigators, and harmonize understanding among stakeholders to optimize the application of restorative justice in medical negligence cases.

The phenomenon of homelessness and begging in public places remains a complex social problem and impacts public order and legal norms. The main problem in this study is how the criminal law is applied to homelessness and begging in public places, and how the provisions compare in the old Criminal Code and the new Criminal Code based on Law Number 1 of 2023. This study uses a normative juridical method with a statutory approach and literature study. In the old Criminal Code, begging is regulated in Article 504 which threatens imprisonment for anyone who begs in public. Meanwhile, the new Criminal Code regulates similar acts in Article 425 which no longer uses the term "begging" explicitly, but regulates the prohibition against the repeated exploitation of certain activities in public places that disturb the community. The research results show that, despite substantial continuity, the new Criminal Code tends to use a more humanistic approach and emphasizes social rehabilitation. Law enforcement against vagrants and beggars still faces various obstacles, such as low public reporting, limited oversight by authorities, and a lack of rehabilitation facilities. Therefore, the main conclusion of this research is that a repressive approach alone is insufficiently effective. An integrated legal strategy is needed, combining penal and non-penal approaches with the active involvement of the government, the community, and social institutions.

The prevalence of non-communicable diseases (NCDs) and their risk factors continue to increase in Indonesia. Riskesdas 2018 showed an increase in the main indicators of NCDs, such as hypertension, obesity, and smoking habits. The low knowledge of health workers, patients, and the community about NCDs is often the cause of the difficulty in controlling the disease, especially blood pressure. Knowledge can be increased by several factors, including age and understanding of mindset. This study aims to identify the impact of education on increasing the knowledge of health cadres. The method used is quantitative with a pre-experimental design, using a one group pre-test and post-test approach. A sample of 10 individuals was selected using the total sampling method. Data were collected through questionnaires before and after providing education about Posbindu NCDs and non-communicable diseases of hypertension and diabetes mellitus. The analysis was carried out univariately, and after the normality test showed that the pre-test and post-test data were normally distributed, the Paired sample t-test was carried out. The results showed that almost half of the respondents were between 41-50 years old (50%), and more than half of the respondents had a senior high school education level (80%). The Paired sample t-test produced p-value of 0.001 which is smaller than 0.05. In conclusion, there is a significant effect of providing education on increasing the knowledge of health cadres. Further training is needed to improve the understanding and skills of health cadres.

Non-health facility deliveries remain a significant maternal health problem in rural areas, increasing the risk of complications for both mothers and newborns. Cigobang Village, Karang Tengah, Babakan Madang District, is one of the areas where home deliveries assisted by non-health personnel are still practiced. This community service activity was conducted through the Village Community Health Development (PKMD) program involving 103 respondents, there were 8 pregnant women (100%) who still planned to give birth at home assisted by non-health personnel. The objective of this activity was to improve community awareness and knowledge regarding safe delivery practices in health facilities. The methods included a community health assessment using questionnaires, maternal health education sessions, and interactive discussions with pregnant women, families, and community health cadres. The results showed that despite the implementation of health education, some pregnant women still planned home deliveries assisted by non-health personnel due to cultural beliefs, accessibility issues, and financial considerations. The PKMD activities contributed to increased community knowledge; however, continuous education and multisectoral collaboration are required to promote safer delivery practices.

Type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) requires comprehensive management beyond pharmacological therapy, including sustainable lifestyle-based interventions. Yoga asana, as a form of mind–body intervention, integrates physical postures, breathing techniques, and relaxation practices that may influence metabolic and psychosocial pathways relevant to T2DM. This article aimed to synthesize evidence regarding the physiological mechanisms, clinical effectiveness, and healthcare implementation context of yoga asana in T2DM management, as well as to discuss the role of physicians in integrating this complementary therapy, including within health tourism settings. A narrative literature review was conducted using scientific databases, focusing on publications addressing yoga asana, mind–body interventions, T2DM, and clinical integration. The findings indicate that yoga asana is associated with improved glycemic control, including reductions in fasting blood glucose, postprandial glucose, and HbA1c, alongside modulation of stress-related physiological parameters and psychological well-being. Beyond clinical outcomes, yoga asana shows potential for community-based and health tourism contexts as part of chronic disease lifestyle management. Physicians play a central role in clinical assessment, patient education, coordination with complementary therapy providers, and ongoing monitoring to ensure safe, evidence-based integration. Although current evidence suggests consistent beneficial trends, methodological heterogeneity highlights the need for more standardized and mechanistic research.
