Character education serves as a fundamental pillar in shaping a generation of morally upright, responsible, and resilient youth. It not only fosters ethical behavior but also equips children with the skills and attitudes necessary to contribute positively to society. This study aims to evaluate the implementation of character education among children through a combination of artistic activities—such as coloring and calligraphy—and environmental activities, specifically planting. The research was conducted in two orphanages located in Blitar Regency, namely Raudhatul Aitam Orphanage and Nurul Falah Orphanage. A descriptive qualitative method was employed, with data collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that creative, participatory, and collaborative approaches are effective in nurturing essential character values among children, both under and over the age of ten. The core values instilled through the activities include appreciation for global diversity, cooperative spirit (gotong royong), faith, and environmental awareness. Practical activities, such as coloring illustrations of traditional houses, planting chili plants, and coloring calligraphic artworks, were found to enhance children’s creativity, self-confidence, patience, and social interaction skills. Moreover, these activities encouraged teamwork and a sense of responsibility, as children worked together to complete tasks and care for their environment. The study highlights the importance of integrating cultural, artistic, and ecological elements in character education programs to create engaging and meaningful learning experiences. Furthermore, continuous support and collaboration from various stakeholders—including caregivers, educators, community members, and government institutions—are essential to ensure sustainability. When consistently implemented, such programs have the potential to produce long-term positive impacts, helping children grow into individuals who are not only skilled and creative but also possess strong moral values and a deep sense of social responsibility.

Maintaining employee engagement presents a significant challenge for organizations, particularly when dealing with Generation Z, who possess unique characteristics, strong technological orientation, and high expectations regarding fairness in the workplace. One crucial factor believed to influence the level of employee engagement is organizational justice. This concept encompasses employees’ perceptions of fairness in the distribution of outcomes (distributive justice), the procedures applied (procedural justice), interpersonal treatment (interpersonal justice), and the clarity of information provided (informational justice). This study aims to examine the contribution of organizational justice to employee engagement among Gen Z employees at the Habepro Radionet Indonesia network. The research employed a quantitative approach with a simple linear regression method. The study population comprised all permanent Gen Z employees working within the network, with a sample size of 35 respondents. Data were collected using an organizational justice questionnaire covering its four dimensions and the Employee Engagement Scale (EES) to measure engagement levels. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS software through a simple linear regression test. The results revealed that organizational justice has a significant effect on employee engagement (p < 0.05), with a coefficient of determination of 0.528. This indicates that 52.8% of the variation in employee engagement can be explained by perceptions of organizational justice, while the remaining percentage is influenced by other factors beyond the scope of this study. These findings highlight the strategic importance of implementing fairness principles within organizations to enhance employee engagement, especially among Gen Z employees who tend to be more sensitive to equitable treatment, transparency of information, and open communication. Therefore, organizations are encouraged to design policies, procedures, and workplace interactions that foster a sense of justice, thereby sustaining employee engagement and contributing positively to overall organizational performance.

Involvement across generations in church worship remains a significant challenge in building a solid and inclusive congregation community. At GKSI Sui Deras Estate, worship tends to be divided according to age groups, which limits spiritual interaction between generations. This creates a gap between younger and older congregation members, ultimately affecting the harmony and cohesion of the community. This community service program aims to optimize intergenerational worship as an effort to strengthen social and spiritual cohesion among the congregation by fostering mutual respect and enhancing relationships between generations. The activities began with an initial observation to identify the issues and needs of the congregation concerning worship. Based on the observation findings, a worship design was created involving representatives from various age groups, ensuring that each generation could feel included in the worship experience. This design process also took into account aspects that could bridge generational differences, such as the selection of hymns, liturgical readings, and approaches that were appropriate for different age groups. In addition, intergenerational liturgy training was conducted to ensure that worship could proceed harmoniously, with active participation from all age groups, from children to the elderly. Intergenerational worship was conducted periodically, providing opportunities for the entire congregation to interact and experience unity in worship. The results of these activities showed a significant increase in participation from congregation members of various ages. A sense of mutual respect between generations grew, something that had previously been lacking. This intergenerational worship also contributed to the strengthening of the community's identity as one body in Christ, where every member, regardless of age, felt valued and involved. Overall, intergenerational worship has proven to be a relevant and practical approach to strengthening the congregation community in a sustainable way, creating a more inclusive and loving atmosphere among fellow congregation members.

Digitalization has become a necessity across all sectors, in line with the rapid development of digital technology and the shift towards Society 5.0. The use of digital technology is now a crucial aspect in various activities, including the economic, social, and educational sectors. In the economic sector, in particular, the implementation of electronic data interchange (EDI) and the use of social media in marketing strategies have expanded to various business sectors, including micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). The shift in interaction patterns between consumers and sellers towards digital is both a challenge and an opportunity for MSMEs. However, the reality on the ground shows that most MSMEs in the regions, particularly in Sumbawa Regency, still experience gaps in digital literacy and human resource readiness in managing information technology. To address this challenge, digitalization outreach and training activities are being conducted for MSMEs and the general public in the region. These activities aim to improve understanding and basic skills related to the use of digital technology in running and developing businesses, such as online marketing, digital data management, and the use of e-commerce platforms. This outreach also emphasizes the importance of adapting to technological developments to increase the competitiveness and sustainability of MSMEs in the digital era. The results of this activity showed a 3% increase in participants' understanding of digitalization, as evidenced by a comparison of pre-test and post-test results. While this improvement is initial and modest, it reflects positive changes that can be further developed through follow-up programs and ongoing mentoring. Therefore, community empowerment through digital education is a strategic step in strengthening the role of MSMEs as key drivers of the local and national economy in the digital era.

Preeclampsia is a severe pregnancy complication characterized by hypertension and signs of organ damage, with a multifactorial etiology involving maternal, genetic, and environmental interactions. This study aims to analyze determinants contributing to the occurrence of preeclampsia through a comprehensive literature review. The research method involved an in-depth analysis of 15 scientific journals, consisting of 8 national publications from Google Scholar and 7 international publications from PubMed, selected based on relevance, credibility, and publication date. Data from these sources were synthesized to identify common risk factors, biological mechanisms, and preventive measures. The findings indicate that the primary risk factors for preeclampsia include a history of chronic hypertension, obesity, gestational diabetes, nulliparity (first pregnancy), and a family history of preeclampsia. Nutritional deficiencies, particularly low calcium and vitamin D intake, are also significantly associated with increased risk. Furthermore, immunological factors such as abnormal maternal immune tolerance, as well as placental dysfunction leading to poor perfusion, play a crucial role in the pathogenesis of preeclampsia. The interplay between these factors suggests that preeclampsia is not caused by a single mechanism, but rather by a complex network of physiological, metabolic, and genetic influences. This complexity underscores the importance of early risk factor identification and intervention strategies during antenatal care. Preventive efforts may include nutritional supplementation, weight management, blood pressure monitoring, and targeted medical interventions for high-risk individuals. In conclusion, preeclampsia remains a significant contributor to maternal and perinatal morbidity and mortality worldwide. Understanding its determinants enables healthcare providers to implement timely preventive measures and reduce its negative impacts on both mother and fetus. Further research is warranted to elucidate the precise mechanisms underlying these determinants, potentially paving the way for more effective prevention and treatment strategies.

Indonesia's biodiversity holds great potential for drug development, including through the use of traditional medicinal plants such as tapak liman (Elephantopus scaber L.), suruhan (Peperomia pellucida L. Kunth), and temu ireng (Curcuma aeruginosa Roxb.). These plants have been used in traditional medicine and are known to contain bioactive compounds with potential anticancer properties. Tapak liman contains compounds capable of inducing apoptosis in cancer cells. Suruhan is known to have cytotoxic and immunomodulatory effects, while temu ireng contains compounds with antioxidant and anticancer activity. This study aims to identify and quantify the bioactive compounds in these three plants using Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS) and to explore their therapeutic potential in cancer treatment. The results of GC-MS analysis successfully identified six main compounds that have potential as anticancer agents, namely Phytol, Caryophyllene, Apiol, Germacrone, Germacrene B, and one additional compound. Temu ireng contains Germacrone, Germacrene B, and Caryophyllene, while suruhan contains Caryophyllene, Apiol, and Phytol. Meanwhile, tapak liman shows the presence of bioactive compounds that support cytotoxic activity. The focus of this study is on the interaction of bioactive compounds with the Bcl-2 protein, which plays a role in inhibiting apoptosis in cancer cells. Additionally, molecular analysis revealed that Germacrone, Germacrene B, Caryophyllene, and Apiol can also bind to the p53 protein, known as a guardian of the genome and a trigger for apoptosis. These findings suggest that the three plants have high potential as natural sources of anticancer agents. Further in vitro and in vivo studies are recommended to test the biological efficacy of these compounds in the context of cancer therapy, thereby bridging traditional knowledge with modern scientific approaches in the development of natural-based medications.
