Honesty (ṣidq) is a core value in Islamic teachings that not only shapes individual behavior but also plays a vital role in establishing a just, trustworthy, and moral society. In various authentic hadiths, the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ emphasized that honesty leads to righteousness (al-birr), and righteousness leads to Paradise. Conversely, lying leads to wickedness and Hell, and is one of the signs of hypocrisy. This study aims to explore the significance of honesty in Islam based on the Prophet’s hadiths and the explanations of classical scholars. The research method used is qualitative with a library research approach. Primary data sources include authentic hadith compilations such as Sahih al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim, while secondary data are drawn from relevant scholarly literature. The analysis applies a thematic approach by grouping hadiths on honesty into sub-themes and interpreting their contexts and meanings. The findings show that honesty must be cultivated continuously, is a sign of true faith, and a condition for attaining divine blessings in all aspects of life, including economic transactions (mu‘āmalāt). Scholars such as Imam al-Nawawī, Ibn Rajab, and Ibn Ḥajar unanimously affirm that honesty is the root of all virtue and a source of spiritual light. Thus, honesty in Islam is not merely a social ethic but a spiritual path to divine pleasure and salvation in both this world and the hereafter. The analysis follows a thematic approach, categorizing the hadiths related to honesty into sub-themes and interpreting their contexts and deeper meanings. The findings emphasize that honesty is an essential part of true faith, continuously cultivated by believers, and a necessary condition for receiving divine blessings in all areas of life, including economic transactions (mu‘āmalāt). Scholars like Imam al-Nawawī, Ibn Rajab, and Ibn Ḥajar unanimously assert that honesty is the foundation of all virtues and a source of spiritual enlightenment. Therefore, in Islam, honesty is more than just a social ethic; it is a spiritual path that leads to divine pleasure and salvation in this life and the hereafter. This study underscores the central role of honesty in both personal morality and broader social harmony within Islamic teachings.

Education is a conscious and structured effort aimed at creating an environment and process that actively facilitates learners in developing their full potential. This includes nurturing their spiritual and moral values, self-control, intelligence, strong character, and essential life skills required for personal development and meaningful contributions to society, the nation, and the global community. At its core, education serves to empower students to realize and utilize their capabilities for future life challenges. It acts as a foundational medium through which younger generations acquire essential life skills, enabling them to integrate effectively into society. Moreover, education plays a pivotal role not only in the personal growth of individuals but also in the advancement of a nation. High-quality education is defined by its capacity to equip students with the competence to confront and resolve real-world problems. This notion becomes increasingly critical as learners transition from academic settings to the workforce and community life, where they are expected to apply their knowledge and skills practically. However, the success or failure of educational outcomes is largely determined by the curriculum. A well-designed curriculum should cultivate critical awareness and empower students to navigate complex social and professional environments. It should also promote creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration, which are essential skills in today’s rapidly changing world. Furthermore, education should not be viewed merely as a means to acquire knowledge but as a holistic process that fosters emotional intelligence and social responsibility. By integrating various disciplines and encouraging interdisciplinary learning, education can help students develop a broader perspective on global issues, such as climate change, social justice, and economic inequality. In addition, the role of educators is crucial in this process.

The scientific journal writing training held at the Imam Syafi'i Islamic Boarding School in Brebes is part of a strategic effort to improve academic literacy and scientific writing skills among students and teaching staff. The background to this activity is the low ability and confidence in scientific writing, which has resulted in minimal involvement of students in academic publications, both at the local and national levels. This training activity involved 30 participants, consisting of final-year students and teachers, using an approach that integrates theory and practice in a balanced manner. The material presented included understanding the structure of scientific journal writing, citation techniques using reference applications, publication ethics, and direct practice in drafting scientific articles. The training was conducted in several intensive sessions, followed by evaluations through pre- and post-tests. The evaluation results showed a significant increase in participants' understanding, where the average score increased from 55 to 80. Not only from a cognitive perspective, participants also showed increased confidence in expressing ideas and systematically compiling scientific writing. Some participants were even able to produce article manuscripts worthy of submission to scientific journals. Although this activity faced several challenges, such as limited training time and access to the latest scientific literature, overall, the training was deemed successful in fostering a stronger academic culture within the Islamic boarding school environment. It is hoped that this training program can be continued and developed sustainably as part of a strategy to strengthen academic capacity and scientific literacy within Islamic boarding schools.

This study aims to determine the influence of marketing communications through Instagram on Generation Z's shopping interest in Makassar, with a focus on dyaozha clothing products. A qualitative approach was adopted, utilizing methods such as observation, documentation, and in-depth interviews with Generation Z consumers. The research participants included shop owners and followers of the dyaozha Instagram account. The findings reveal that marketing communications through Instagram—particularly through the use of engaging visual content, appealing design implementation, and active interaction—play a crucial role in shaping Generation Z's shopping interest. Instagram features such as Stories, Reels, interactive polls, and comment sections enable brands to connect more personally with potential buyers. Attention-grabbing content helps build initial interest, while endorsements and testimonials contribute to trust and credibility. Furthermore, consistent interaction between the brand and followers fosters emotional connection and brand loyalty. These factors collectively influence both interest and purchasing decisions among the Gen Z demographic. The study concludes that dyaozha’s strategic use of Instagram marketing communications has proven effective in influencing the shopping behavior of its target audience. Recommendations for dyaozha include the continuous optimization of Instagram's interactive features—such as Q&A sessions, behind-the-scenes content, and user-generated content campaigns—to sustain engagement and improve conversion rates. Additionally, it is suggested that dyaozha expands its reach by targeting broader market segments and utilizing data-driven content strategies to adapt to evolving consumer preferences. This research highlights the vital role of social media in modern marketing strategies, especially when targeting digitally native audiences like Generation Z.

This study aims to examine one of the disciplines of Islamic law, namely the pricing mechanism from the perspective of Imam Al-Ghazali, in order to create a healthy market environment free from monopolistic practices and manipulation, and aligned with Sharia principles. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach using a literature study method by reviewing various relevant books, classical texts, articles, and academic journals related to Islamic economics and Imam Al-Ghazali’s thought. The findings indicate that the concept of fair pricing is not solely dependent on the interaction between supply and demand, but must also consider moral and social dimensions, such as justice, honesty, and public welfare. Imam Al-Ghazali strongly emphasized that economic transactions should uphold ethical standards and social responsibility to prevent exploitation and inequality. He argued that pricing must reflect not only market dynamics but also the broader ethical framework rooted in Islamic values. Furthermore, the study explores the concept of economic equilibrium in relation to pricing mechanisms, where prices should ideally balance individual interests with communal welfare. The research also discusses the correlation between economic balance and price-setting policies, including the views of other classical and contemporary Islamic scholars. It is found that state intervention is permissible in certain conditions—particularly when market mechanisms fail to ensure fairness—thus justifying government roles in market supervision and price stabilization. One of the key concepts in Islamic economics is the notion of a just price (al-thaman al-‘adl), as emphasized by Imam Al-Ghazali.. This study concludes that understanding pricing from Al-Ghazali’s perspective offers valuable insights for building ethical and socially responsible economic systems aligned with Islamic teachings.

The Karanggeneng River in Rembang Regency, Central Java, serves as the main water source for the surrounding community but is vulnerable to seawater contamination during the dry season due to decreasing river elevation. To address this issue, this study aims to design and implement a river water elevation monitoring device based on the Internet of Things (IoT) powered by a hybrid Solar Power Plant (PLTS). The device utilizes the MB7360 ultrasonic sensor connected to an ESP32 microcontroller to measure water elevation in real-time and display the data through an LCD and the Blynk application on a smartphone. The methodology includes literature review, device design, system implementation, and field performance testing. Test results show that the sensor can measure water height accurately within a range of 30 cm to 5 meters, and the PLTS system is capable of supplying the required 0.56 Watts of power. The study compared two alternative solutions and selected the ESP32-based system as the best option due to its efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and easy-to-source components. The conclusion of this research indicates that the developed device can provide accurate and continuous information, support monitoring of river conditions to prevent the risk of seawater intrusion, flooding, or drought, and has the potential to be applied as a mobile system in various other river locations across Indonesia.

This study aims to determine how much influence digital marketing strategies (content marketing, affiliate marketing and flash sales) have in encouraging impulsive purchasing behavior in Gen Z. The population of this study consists of all Generation Z TikTok users in Indonesia, with an unknown total number. The research method employed is a quantitative approach using a survey of 100 respondents selected through convenience sampling. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with inferential analysis or classical assumption testing. The results show that, partially, all three independent variables have a positive and significant effect on impulsive buying. Flash Sales have the greatest effectiveness influence, with a multiple regression coefficient value of 0.275. Although Flash Sales are statistically the most effective, descriptive analysis results indicate that affiliate marketing has the highest level of effectiveness based on the respondents’ average score of 21.69. Therefore, an optimal digital marketing strategy can leverage all three methods to enhance impulsive buying behavior.

Employee work motivation stands as a pivotal aspect capable of significantly enhancing employee performance within any organizational setting. This qualitative study endeavors to comprehensively gather information regarding the multifaceted factors that influence employee work motivation, ultimately impacting their overall performance. Utilizing a qualitative research methodology with a robust literature review approach, this investigation systematically reviews and synthesizes findings from an array of prior studies. The synthesis of our findings reveals two primary categories of factors critically affecting employee work motivation: external and internal factors. External factors encompass crucial elements such as the work environment, salary structures, the quality of supervisor treatment, and prevailing company policies. Conversely, internal factors primarily involve an individual's personal desires and inherent needs that require fulfillment within the employee. In light of these findings, it is imperative for organizations to address and fulfill these identified factors, particularly external ones, as a strategic endeavor to elevate and sustain employee performance.

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has evolved from a voluntary initiative into a legal obligation in many countries, including Indonesia and India. This study aims to analyze and compare the CSR regulations between the two countries, focusing on legal foundations, scope of implementation, corporate obligations, and the effectiveness of enforcement. In Indonesia, CSR is regulated under Law No. 40 of 2007 on Limited Liability Companies and Law No. 25 of 2007 on Capital Investment, which mandate companies operating in the natural resource sector to carry out social and environmental responsibilities. Meanwhile, in India, CSR obligations are more broadly applied through the Companies Act 2013, which requires companies meeting specific financial criteria to allocate at least 2% of their average net profits towards CSR activities. The results of this study indicate that CSR regulation in India is more structured and comprehensive compared to Indonesia, particularly in terms of reporting mechanisms, monitoring, and legal sanctions. This comparison provides valuable insight for developing a more effective and equitable CSR regulatory model that benefits society, corporations, and the state.

This study aims to comparatively analyze the concept of tawhid in Sunni and Shi'a Imamiyyah schools from a theological perspective. Using an exploratory qualitative approach and literature study method, this research examines the theological structures of both traditions, identifying points of convergence and key differences in their understanding of God's oneness. The findings reveal that although both traditions uphold tawhid as the core of faith, differing epistemological approaches and authoritative frameworks lead to significant distinctions. The Sunni tradition emphasizes three dimensions of tawhid—rububiyyah, uluhiyyah, and asma’ wa sifat—while the Shi’a Imamiyyah integrates the concept with the doctrines of imamah and walayah. The study further highlights that such theological diversity can enrich Islamic intellectual tradition and foster constructive inter-sectarian dialogue when managed inclusively. The research recommends promoting sectarian tolerance education and inter-traditional dialogue as key strategies to enhance Islamic unity.

Leadership in Islam, highlighting its ethical and pragmatic foundations. Good governance in Islam is deeply rooted in the principles of al-amanah (trustworthiness) and al-'adalah (justice), which are not only administrative norms but also moral and spiritual obligations. Leadership in Islam is understood as a sacred mandate carried out by the caliph, imam, and ulil amri, each of which has spiritual, moral, and executive dimensions. Prophetic qualities in the form of shidq (honesty), amanah (trustworthiness), fathonah (intelligence/wisdom), and tabligh (accurate delivery/communication) are ethical foundations that are inseparable from effective leadership. The qualifications of a Muslim leader are very diverse, ranging from faith, noble morals, justice, knowledge, courage, and devotion in public service. The way of government of the Prophet Muhammad SAW was inclusive and tolerant. The period of the Khulafaur Rasyidin (Abu Bakar, Umar, Uthman, and Ali) shows how government administration developed, even though it was full of challenges. This history proves that the principles of good governance in Islam remain strong, even in difficult times.
